Actually I am sorry for not updating for long term but lately had been busy in life and soon I am leaving for vacation next week.

Enjoy this part and the upcoming part (posted in the evening)

Part Twenty

Tani kept on starring at the tree.. memories come rushing deep inside her and her eyes betrayed her with tears streaming down.

Everyone waiting for Tani "why don't you guys head home and i'll bring Tani since that tree holds huge importance in our lives" Geet disagree with the idea but Sapna supports it.

Prithvi stood behind Tani who kept on starring at the tree "what's wrong?" Tani turn around and hugs Prithvi tightly "remember.. this tree is apart of our love story" she asked him.

Prithvi: How can I forget? Its the reason why our love bond stayed stronger in separation.

Tani: Let's do the rituals today as...

Prithvi place his finger on Tani's lip and without saying anything together they walk around the tree with red string and tie it.

Slowly time pass away with Tani and Prithvi showing Maan and Vicky around their home town. Geet just stood emotional watching everyone's interaction.

Prithvi: Mom!

Geet snap out of her thoughts "haan beta" Prithvi came toward her "why are you so quite? I've seen this place through your eyes and today?"

Geet sigh "nothing like that"

Prithvi: Than what?

Maan smirk "because son" Geet look at Maan "your mother is shy in front of your dad's anger" Geet's eyes wide up and "what did you say? I am afraid of your anger. My foot!"

Prithvi and Tani burst out laughing...

Maaneet smiles together... Maan's smile last for shortly..

Sapna emotional farewell Geet and the rest (mostly kissing Tani crazy on the face) Prithvi smirk (that only stayed shortly when Sapna came toward him and begins kissing him) now Tani burst out laughing.

Both of Prithvi and Tani begin teasing each other all the way to station.

Maan getting annoyed that he couldn't drive to Delhi itself because vote against him (about traveling on the bust) he gave anger glare to Vicky and Geet.

Geet turn around "Prithvi and Tani beta"

Tani-Prithvi: Haan Maa

Tani bite her lower lip "I mean Masi"

Geet: Does it matter if you call me Masi ye Maa?

Tani: No

Geet: Than Mom sounds better from your mouth

Tani: You are the best Mom

Prithvi: Haan Maa

24hrs later

Maan and the rest arrive at Khurana Mansion.. Dadi welcome them with aarti ki thali.. Vicky hug his Dadi and flirts with her... Maaneet together touch Dadi's feet "god bless you and fill this house with cries of happiness" afterwards Prithvi and Tani together touch Dadi's feet "what blessing should I give you?"

Prithvi: Darling give me the blessing of filling my Mom's world with happiness and iss Jangli Billi ko ye blessing that she always listen my authority.

Tani smack Prithvi playfully "Mom"

Geet: Prithvi enough

Prithvi: Alright Mom, but I'm hungry

Tani: Me too

Geet: You two go in the outhouse inside your Maan Dad's room and fresh up while I make you guys something light to eat.

Prithvi: Yes Mom.. Let's go Tani

Tani leave with Prithvi while Geet goes inside the kitchen and make Tani's favorite soup with garlic bread and creamy-cheesy pasta for her sweet heart.

"Aur this is my Dad's room" Prithvi show her entire house "now go and fresh up" Prithvi push her inside the bathroom.

Prithvi wait outside the bathroom, but Tani hasn't came out yet...

Prithvi knocks on the door "why are you taking so much time?" Tani peek out of the door and whisper in Prithvi's ear... Prithvi smack his head "i'll bring your suit case and afterwards put your belonging inside my room" "par" Prithvi doesn't listen to her.

Prithvi walking down the corridor of the outhouse when he bump into his Dad and Vicky "sorry Dad and Vicky"

Maan: Its alright... but you haven't even freshen up yet?

Prithvi: Actually I was showing Tani around afterwards she's inside your room getting fresh, but her suitcase is left behind in the mansion. I was just going to get it.

Maan: I know! Your Mom said me and Vicky to bring your guys suitcase.

Prithvi took their suitcase from them "thanks Dad and Vicky you can put my suitcase in my room and i'll take Tani's suitcase" and walk toward Maan's room.

Fifty minutes later, Tani and Prithvi walking down the stairs (more likely gossiping for teasing each other) once they reach bottom of the stairs...

Dadi kept smile on her face while Geet fuming with anger "what takes you both long?"

Prithvi: Mom, you know that once two enemy meet after such a long time it takes century to reach your destination.

Geet: Alright! Wait a minute! Are you trying to make fool out of your Mom

Geet run after Prithvi "Mom what are you doing?"

"Just wait n watch" Geet running after him awhile Tani controlling her laughter... About fifteen minutes later Prithvi pick Geet up in his arms.

Geet freak out "Prithvi, what are you doing? Put me down" she demand, but Prithvi "if you run like this than you'll get tried so why don't you tell me where you won't to go and i'll take you"

Geet: I needed to catch you and you lifted me up in your arms so now how am I suppose to catch you.

Prithvi: Only one condition you won't hit me?

Geet: Just put me down... I won't hit you

Prithvi slowly put her down "every small small thing you have started lifting me up" Geet spoke in frustration while Prithvi "what can I do when my father himself lift you in his arms on small things" Geet start running after Prithvi who escaped into Maan's study room and hid behind him who was talking on the phone.

Geet: You have became so spoiled

Tani burst out laughing "what are you laughing about?" Geet question Tani

Tani: Maa nothing... its just some things don't change easily in life and I'll never want those changes

Geet agreed with Tani afterwards they went inside Maan's study room and forcefully brought Prithvi out by pulling his ear (Geet pulled his ear not Tani) and Maan fallowed them.

Silently they ate afterwards four of them walked into outhouse "Geet you and Tani sleep in our room" Prithvi interfere "nahiin Dad. You and Mom stay in your room. Me and Tani will sleep on the sofa down here like old days" "Par" Maan tries to convince him.

Argument took place for awhile until Geet spoke "all of us will sleep in the same room. Prithvi you take the floor beside the sofa. Aap you sleep on the bed and Tani you can sleep on the sofa and i'll sleep on the floor" Tani control her laughter "um.. mom and you uncle can sleep on the bed" she looked at Prithvi "me and him will mange on the sofa" they agreed and walked inside Maan's room.

Part Twenty-One

Tani woke up early and does her daily routine "what should I do?" than take piece of paper and write Prithvi a not saying where she is going so he doesn't freak out.

Tani walking down the stairs when she collide with Prithvi's dad "sorry uncle" "where are you going and why do you always call me uncle when you call Geet Mom than you may call me Dad" Maan question her.

Tani: Actually Unc

Maan glare at her...

Tani: I mean Dad woh I was going out for jogging, but why are you up so early

Maan: Even I'm use to doing work out in the morning like Thai Chi

Tani: Wow! I've always read about it but never knew its great workout activity

Maan; Its is anyways lets go for jog today cause we'll have reach back by eight.

Tani: Alright Dad

Geet woke around quarter to eight and now cooking breakfast for her family cause she knows Maan is strict about his times and other things.. plus today is their two additional meeting with Khanna Group of Companies.

Prithvi came running down the stairs and wish his mother good morning afterwards he help his mother set up the breakfast table when Tani and Maan return home from their jogging.

Prithvi: How was the jog?

Tani: Great! But much better with Dad cause today we enjoyed playing basket ball today.

Prithvi: Wow! I should also join you guys in jogging cause of basket ball

Tani: Shut up! Mom mera Orange Juice?

Geet came out of the kitchen with three glass of orange juice and gave Tani her glass than place the other two on the breakfast table.

Tani and Prithvi sat down on the table waiting for Maan to return so they can have breakfast together.

Maan came down dressed in those clothes Geet laid on the bed. They ate silently when Tani spoke "Dad you don't mind dropping me at girls' hostel on your way to work?" she asked him.

Prithvi looked at her with wide eyes "par kyun" Tani looked at him "Prithvi in two days you'll also return back for your exams and even my exams start in two days. Its already been long vacation for me and I need to be independent during exams so I was thinking" "fine! You may go back, but one condition you'll have to leave girls' hostel once your exams are done and stay with us cause even I am returning back here and I've applied in your college already. I'll be joining in second semester" Geet and Maan were impress by the understanding between two friends (most-likely more than friends).

Prithvi gaze at his mom "don't you think so? Mom?"

Geet sigh

Geet: Tani, he's right

Tani: Par Mom

Maan: Tani!

Tani sigh heavenly "alright three against one" she looked at Prithvi "now may I return and don't worry i'll take care of myself like always" Prithvi nod his head.

Maan drop Tani outside her hostel "thanks Dad" Maan glared at her "what do you call me?"

Tani looked frighten "Dad"

Maan: Than why are you thanking me? It makes me a outsider in your life

Tani smiled "I didn't mean it that way, but Dad

Maan interrupt "I know anyways keep my cell number with you in case you need something and don't hesitate in asking for anything since you and Prithvi hold huge importance in Geet's life"

Tani felt like hugging Maan so she hugged him "please accept my thanks this time because nobody have never placed their fatherly hand on my forehead. I'm not saying everyone don't love me but its that a father holds huge importance in girls' life and I am lucky that my Geet Mom got someone like you in her life. I know Mom doesn't say anything, but she's gone through more than any of us" Tani broke apart and wave her Dad while he drove away.

Maan arrived at Khurana Construction in full Maan Singh Khurana style and fire three people who broke rule behind his back.

Basically Maan was in foul mood since his dear wife (meaning his secretory decide to take a break with informing him) and that too at the last minute.

Maan's mind: Why are you letting her get into your skins?

Maan's heart: Because u have fallen for her

Maan's mind: just shut up! Maan Singh Khurana can never fall for anyone - not even his own wife.

Maan's heart: Why can't he?

Maan's mind: Because every girls' are selfish

Maan's heart: But Geet is different and why did you allow Tani to call you father because she's also a girl?

Maan's mind: um... its different! I look at Tani as my daughter nothing more

Maan's heart: Its still the same...

Maan couldn't take the battle between his heart and his mind "just shut up! No girl can smitten Maan Singh Khurana either its his own wife Geet, but Tani." Maan stood up and took out his anger on Tasha who came in with Mr. Rajesh Khanna project file.

Maan: Tasha I asked you to bring in Mr. Ranjeet Khanna Group of Companies file

Maan threw file in Tasha's face..

Geet decide to take Maan's lunch to Khurana Construction and finish up few a-pending assignments left before she took her leave.

Geet's driver drove her to Khurana Construction. She greets Pinky than Adi Sir "Adi Sir, is Maan Sir is busy at the moment" Adi looked confuse.

Adi: Actually Geet woh

Geet: Woh kya Adi Sir

Adi: He fired three people out of the blues and his mood is totally screwed for few days. Hardly have time for lunch or anything.

Geet: Alright! You may go and i'll seek what's bothering him otherwise many people are going to be jobless.

Geet without knocking enter Maan's cabin.

Maan looked at her with red eyes...

Geet: What's wrong with you?

Maan: Nothing is wrong with me. Why can't people do their job without angering me?

Geet: Are you the king of the moods?

Maan looked at Geet with anger eyes and ready to strangle her with his own hands.

Maan: Just leave

Geet walk toward him "why should I?" Maan look at her "oh! Now I understand why you fire those people because you are missing your personal secretary lately and maybe you want her back" Maan just stared at her with hopeful eyes and starts walking toward her "you are right! I am missing my personal Secretary" he grab her by the waist "or should I say my wife"

Geet began struggling to free herself "leave me" his grip got tighten "I just came here to drop you lunch and thought I should return your secretary for change, but I don't think so" she push him away "as your wife I am commanding you to put up your acts together" she turn to leave "please eat your lunch otherwise you ain't going to have peaceful dinner in the evening that's your wife's promise"

Tani start unpacking her bags "I wonder what Prithvi is doing right now" she thought to herself when she felt two strong hands creek from behind around her waist.

Tani lean backwards "thinking about me" Tani only smiles and let the silent do the talking between them for awhile afterwards she turn around "I knew you would come after awhile" Prithvi invite her inside his arms "somewhere you knew and I knew that after we come in front of each other our pain wouldn't allow us" Tani interrupts "from staying away from each other." Tani break away from the hug "you know each nights I would think about us when you weren't around me. I would think when this separation would come to end and now" Prithvi walk toward her and touch her shoulder "it feels like its a dream, but it isn't anymore"

Tani allowed her tears to escape from her eyes and Prithvi lean forward to kiss her tears away.

Maan stood looking out the door watching Geet disappear while her words kept on echoing inside his mind. In frustration he bang his fist on the his desk afterwards lift up his phone "Pinky, please send my wife back inside my cabin withing a second or say goodbye to your job" and hung up the phone.

(outside's Maan's Cabin)

Pinky slowly hang up the phone and start biting her finger nail "what should I do? Geet just left and now" she quickly run outside Khurana Construction and find Geet almost sitting inside the car "Geet" Geet freeze than turn around finding Pinky with bitter and sour look.

Geet walk toward Pinky who hugs her tightly "please save my job" Geet couldn't breathe and break apart "what happen and why are you asking me to save your job"

Pinky quickly: after you left Maan Sir's cabin he called and asked me to send you inside his cabin or else I loose my job.

Geet eyes wide up "what?" Pinky doesn't listen to Geet and drag her inside Khurana Construction toward Maan Sir's cabin and push her inside.

(Maan's Cabin)

Maan look at Geet with a smirk "why did you threat Pinky? If you wanted to see me so badly why didn't you stop me instead of making a scene" she march toward him.

Maan ignore her and continue working on his laptop...

Geet get annoyed after three minutes and shut Maan's laptop...

Maan: What the

Geet: That's my question what the hell have you thought in calling me back and than ignoring me for pass three minutes.

Maan: Oh! Now I understand why you are in rush.. because I haven't given you the time you deserve after marriage right except for that annoying trip to your home-town.

Geet trying to say something, but Maan silent her with his finger on her lip after he dial Pinky's number "Pinky, if any calls or anyone come to meet me..just don't disturb me and cancel my meeting for upcoming two weeks also send Adi inside my cabin"

2 minutes later

Adi stood silently listening to his Sir while Geet's eyes wide up in horror.

Maan: Did I make myself clear?

Adi: Y-e-s S-i-r

Adi leaves while Geet kept on staring at Maan with her big eyes "I am not going anywhere with you" she shout in anger.

Maan roughly pull her toward him and lean forward (slightly kiss her eyes) "if I can come to your hometown without argument than why are you complaining when your husband himself wanting to take you out for honeymoon" he whisper in her ears.
