Hamrahi (Part 4)

Next morning Nupur did not wake up at her usual time. It worried Samrat and Jay. Jay asked Samrat to check nupur if she is alright

"Samrat daikho toh kahin uss ki tabeeat kharab toh nahi"

"Jee Baba" He went to her room and surprised seeing her still sleeping. He came to her and checked her forehead

"Temperature toh nahi hai" He spoke to himself and then shook her shoulder, "Nupur, Nupur utho" She opened her eyes with a jerk, "Haan" She looked at Samrat blankly and he worried

"Nupur tum theek ho" He asked making her sit, she tied her hairs and smiled

"Haan main theek hoon"

"Toh university kyun nahi gayee?" He asked and her hands moving in her hairs stopped. Everything get fresh in her mind and she realized that nothing is same like before. Samrat seeing her lost shook her shoulder and asked again, "Npur tum university kyun nahi gayee?" She come out of her thoughts and smiled, "Woh dil nahi ker raha tha"

"Ok phir aaj tum ghar pe ho toh mere aur Baba ke liye acha sa lunch bana laina hum lunch saath mein karein ge, theek hai"

"Haan main bana loon gi" She said happily

"Ok phir main chalta hoon, apna khayal rakhna, ok bye" Samrat left the room and she was thinking how can she face him and Baba when they come to know the truth, She closed her eyes and prayed to God to help her

Today after a long time she had a lunch with her father and brother. She was very happy and it helped her to overcome what she passed through yesterday but it was just for a short period.

In the evening she was watching TV in the lounge while Jay and Samrat after lunch went back to office when her cell phone rang, she took the phone and looked at screen, In a moment her face turned pale

She pressed the 'answer' button with trembling hands and put the phone to her ear

"Hello Nupur" As she heard his voice a wave of heat passed through her body

"Nupur" he called again

"Jee" It is what she just uttered

"Tum aaj university kyun nahi aayee?" He asked and she had a feeling to hit him hard if he were in front of her but controlling it she replied

"I was not feeling well"

"Kyun kya hua?" he asked with concern

"Kuch nahi bus headache tha ab nahi hai" She looked at the clock and said to him, "Baba aane wale hain main aap se baad mein baat kerti hoon" Quickly she cut the phone even not giving him a chance to say yes or no. She switched off her phone and put her head on the back of sofa and losed her eyes

"Main tumhain kabhi maaf nahi karun gi, kabhi nahi" She did not feel this much hater for anyone but now she was feeling it and she did not know what to do now!

Next day she went to university. How many days she could escape from the truth? That's what she told her and now she was in the university but she was not like usual. She was changed and that's what Gunjan noticed too. They take the classes and after that Nupur was in hurry to went back home but Gunjan wanted to finish the assignments so she was insisting to stay in campus and to complete the notes.

"Gunjan please main nahi ruk sakti mujhe jana hai" Nupur said looking around if he was following her

"Tu ne pehle toh kabhi mana nahi kia toh phir ab kya ho gaya hai tujhe, kyun jaana jaana laga rakha hai" Gunjan said now getting angry but Nupur was busy looking around, Gunjan noticing it irritated nd shook her, "Nupur are you listening to me?" Nupur turned to her and smiled forcefully

"Haan main sun rahi hoon" Gunjan dragged her hand and she has no option left except to come with her

They were sitting in the ground and for now Nupur was totally engaged in preparing notes with Gunjan

"Nupur yeh wala point daikh na kaise ho ga" Nupur take the note book from Gunjan and looked at the page when she listened her name and her expressions changed all in sudden

"Hi Nupur" Gunjan too looked kind of surprised seeing Mayank there, She looked at Nupur in question who avoided looking at her and replied to him with "Hi" her reply shocked Gunjan more

"Kaisi ho tum aur headache toh nahi hai ab?" he asked Nupur and she just nodded to no. Gunjan was sitting there confused, she could see that Nupur was feeling uneasy but she wasn't saying anything to him why? this was the question and she asked Nupur

"Tum ne bataya nahi ke tumhain headache hai" Nupur felt helpless

"Woh .. woh kal bus aise hi .. thora ...." She looked at the notes and Gunjan observed her shaky hands

"By the way kya ker rahe ho tum log" Mayank asked taking notes from Nupur, "Yeh notes toh mere pass hain tumhain chahiye?" Mayank asked and they both spoke together, "Nahi"

"Hum khud ker lain ge, I think Nupur humain chalna chahiye" Gunjan felt that there is something which Nupur was hiding from her but what was that? she has to find out

"Haan chalo ghar chalte hain" Nupur quickly collected her books and notes and got up. Mayank too got up and said, "Main chor doon" To this Nupur wanted to reply, "Aap please hamara peecha chor dain" but she smiling forcefully nodded to no, "No thanks hum chale jaien ge"

"Ok bye"

"Bye" They went from there while Mayank see them going, Gunjan turned and looked at Mayank thinking, "Yeh Nupur se itna frankly kyun baat ker raha tha aur Nupur uss ne isse roka bhi nahi, aakhir kyun? kya wajah ho sakti hai, Nupur toh isse pasand bhi nahi kerti toh phir achanak se itna frank .... God sub theek ho" Gunjan gazed at Nupur who was walking lost, it seems that she was hiding her tears, "Nupur se poochoon ... nahi pehle hi kitni tensed hai ... phir pooch loon gi" At that time if Gunjan knew that she should talk to Nupur then maybe what will going to happen will stop
