These comments are a reply to your previous post as well this recent update:
Okay firstly yes there wasn't a lot of ArSh but there was quite a lot of Shilpa, Sid, Riddhima, and the cancer lady. It was Armaan's presence that was missing but as you said this was about character development and the last few updates have definitely focused alot on Armaan so this balances out.
Now Sid is one character in this FF and in particular this update who has surprised me. I never expected him to act so mature and honest to the whole situation. Also him lashing out at Riddhima was another shocker.
You're quite right that Riddhima has built this invisible fortress around herself that no one can breach. I believe Armaan was probably the only one to do that but even during their courtship days, she would resign herself to a shell at times. And then ever since January, she's pretty much closed herself off. Hence it was nice so good to finally see her inner feelings. And honestly I didn't expect you to portray her like that. I mean now the reader has some empathy for her....not sympathy though.
Onto Shilpa: well as I said before she is somewhat of an enigma...or possibly an onions whoses layer you have to keep peeling off. Yes she is professional in her work and maybe like you said it's a negative point. But shouldn't a surgeon be totally detached from feeling any empathy or sympathy towards his/her patients in case that causes any serious problems during surgeries? Having said that, it is comforting to see a nice and friendly physician though, especially when someone is breaking some life changing news to you. Hence it would have been nice to see her show some "human emotion" whilst dealing with the patient and her son.
I think her past has really affected her and somehow I believe ArSh will support each other and change one another for the better. Yes we want Shilpa to bring love and happiness in Armaan's life. But currently Shilpa seems like this hard rock that will maybe in time with Armaan's friendship and love be softened around the corners.
Oh btw I did not like Armaan and Shilpa referring to each other as doctor, not only was it formal but seemed a bit over the top. I get they're both trying to be professionals but that was a bit too much...at least for me.

Nonetheless nice update and sorry for the terribly long rant....I'm gonna stop now before I think of something else to add.
