Mayank in every was behaving normal like usual but just one thing was changed which was to his good luck not noticed by maa ... and that was his every way of making her wishes come true ... without showing her his efforts ... that is Mayank Sharma; even though he has immense pain in his heart ... his face or his actions even his eyes would never show his feelings ..... A month passed like that ... Maa's health was worsening with every passing day but Mayank made sure she doesn't realise that by always keeping her happy and satisfied ......

Maa - Mayu ....
Mayank - Mayank ...
Maa - Pata hai, pata hai ... shahrukh ki picture ...
Mayank - Maa ... mujhe bahut kaam hai ...
Maa (making face) - Yahaan tujhe kaam hai aur wahaan wo Nupur bachchon ko padhaane mein busy hai ... ye exams hote hi kyun hai? Huh ...
Mayank - Maa .... acha chalo mujhe meeting ke liye jaana hai, main aapse baad mein baat karta hun ...
Maa - Ja ja ... maa se ek minute phone pe baat bhi nahi kar sakta ... bada aaya mere budhaape ka sahara ...
Mayank - Maa ... tum kitni filmy ho ... chalo bye ..

Maa had already cut the phone as she was hell angry .... after 5 minute she received a sms which made all her anger vanish ....

8 baje taiyaar rehna ... aap aur main jaayenge ... 8:30 ka show hai
aapka mayuu

Maa - Hayye!! mere bete ne dil jeet liya ... (and giggled) Arre ... parso Nupur ka birthday hai!! shopping karni hai .... Mayu ko bataaungi to kahega akele mat jaao ... ek to usne us driver ko mera chaukidaar bana diya hai ... meri har harkat par nazar rakhta hai ... par ye achanak khair jo bhi ho ... main jaanti hun mera beta mujhse bahut pyaar karta hai .... kal use le jaaungi shopping ke liye ...

Next morning ...

Weekend ... a rule to be followed by businessman Mayank Sharma and he followed it with true loyalty ... No work; no phone; family time - a rule made my maa .....

Both of them were having breakfast ....
Mayank - Maa ... kya baat hai, mere pasand ka naashta ... hmm kuch to gadbad hai ... (thinking) aapko shopping karne jaana hai .... (oscillating his finger) hai na ...
Maa (taking his balaayein; true filmy style) - Hayye main sadke jaawaan!! Mera beta mere bina kuch bole sab samajh jaata hai ....
Mayank smiled ....
Mayank - Aur ye shopping kis khushi mein?
Maa - Arre, wo Nupur ka janamdin hai na .... kal wo 22 ki ho jaayegi .... tu bhi party mein aana ...
Mayank - Main aakar kya karunga ... wo mujhe jaanti tak nahi ...
Maa - To miloge nahi to ek dusre ko jaanoge kaise ...

Mayank - Maa not again ... aap phir se wo baat shuru mat karna ....
Maa (innocently) - Kya kharaabi hai?
Mayank sat near her and kept his hand on her shoulder ....
Mayank - Maa .... wo 22 ki hone waali hai aur main 30 ka ho chuka hun .... 8 saal ka difference hai hum dono mein, ye pehli baat .... dusri ki hum dono ek dusre ko pehchaante hain ... jaante nahi aur teesri aur sabse important baat ki main shaadi mein vishwaas nahi rakhta ....
While getting up ....
Mayank - Main nahaane jaa raha hun aap bhi nahaalo phir hum shopping karne jaayenge ... theeke ...
Maa - Hmmm .....

Mayank went away from there .....
Maa - Kaash ... kaash main tere dil ko pighla paati ... kaash main tujhe samjha paati ki pyaar galat nahi hota, ki shaadi sabse pavitra bandhan hai ... kaise bataaun tujhe, kaise samjhaaun ki har kisi ko ek sachche jeevan saathi ki zarurat hoti hai jo jeevan bhar; har mushkil ka saamna karte waqt tumhara haath thaame khada ho ... jo tumhaari zindagi ka har pal tumhaare saath baante chaahe khushi ho chaahe gham ......


Both went for shopping ....
Mayank - To aapko kya lena hai?
Maa - Kuch samajh nahi aa raha?
Mayank - Matlab?
Maa - Us ladki ko ... kitaabein pasand hai par mujhe use padhaaku nahi banana aur pichli baar maine use suit diya tha to is baar kuch alag hona chahiye ....
Mayank - Maa, hum gift mein wo dete hai jo gift lene waale ko pasand ho ... use kitaabein pasand hai to use kitaabein hi do ... wo uske liye sabse acha gift hoga ....
Maa - Hmm ... tu sahi keh raha hai ...
Mayank - Main kabhi galat hota hun kya?
Maa - Waah beta, khud ki itni taareef?
Mayank - Sach bolne mein kaisi sharam?
Maa - Chal chal, mujhe bata kitaabein kahaan se milengi?
Mayank - Oxford Book Store ... shehar ka sabse bada store wahi hai ....
Maa - Theeke ...

Both go there and buy some romantic books for her of course of maa's choice .... after the shopping both returned home rather tired ....

Next day ...

Maa got up early and woke up Mayank ..
Mayank - Maa kya hua?
Maa - Jaldi taiyaar ho .... Nupur se milne jaana hai .... uska birthday hai ...
Mayank - Maa abhi 7 baje hai ... wo so rahi hogi .. sab so rahe honge .... 9 baje chalenge ...
Maa - Haan ... ye to kuch zyada jaldi ho jaayega ....

At 8:45 ...
Mayank - Maa ... bas do minute ...
Maa - Jaldi kar mayuu ....
Mayank came out in a balck suite ...
Maa (angry) - Hey bhagwaan ... poore hafte tu aise hi kapde pehenta hai na .... badal ke aa ABHI!!!
Mayank - Theeke ....

Mayank came out in a white fitting shirt and a blue jeans ...
Maa - Hayye!! kitna sona lag raha hai mera bachcha ...
Mayank - Maa please ... ab chalein?
Maa - Haan maine kab roka ....

Both arrive Aangan ... as soon as they arrive, Nupur was coming towards them in a white anarkali suit with shades of sky blue in it .... she came and took maa's blessings ...
Maa - Happy birthday beta ...
And hugged her tight ...
Nupur (huge smile) - Thanks maa .... chaliye sab aapka wait kar rahe hai ... Mayankji aap bhi chaliye ...
Mayank - Happy Birthday ...
Nupur - Thanks ....

All of them together cut the cake and later maa gave her the gift ...
Nupur - Thanks maa ....
Maa - Maa bhi bolti hai aur thanks bhi ... maarungi huh ...
Nupur - Sorry sorry!!
Maa - Chal ab gift khol ... jaldi jaldi ...
Nupur - Haan haan ...

Nupur was just opening the gift when ...... Maa started feeling dizzy and fell ... blood oozing from her mouth ...
Nupur (screamed) - MAA!!!
Mayank immediately picked her and rushed towards his car .... Nupur was right next to him ... he sat ont the driving seat while Nupur sat behind with maa's head on her lap ... she held her hand ... she was sobbing ... Mayank knew this was coming .....
Nupur - Aapko kuch nahi hoga .... maa ... aankhein kholiye .... maa ko kya hua hai?
Mayank slowly sighed and started speaking ...
Mayank - Maa ke paas zyada waqt nahi hai ...
Nupur was horrified and looked towards him in shock ... Mayank sensed it and continued ...
Mayank - Maa ko leukemia hai ... last stage .... 5 mahine aur ....
Nupur (mumbling) - Nahi ... maa ko kuch nahi hoga .... kuch nahi hoga .... (to him) Maa ko ... pata hai?
Mayank - Nahi .... par ab bataane ka waqt aa gaya hai ....

His voice was normal ... no tears falling down .... he was mentally preparing himself for this day when he will have to tell his maa about it .... she was baffled ... tears constantly rolling down .... she was not ready to accept or face this truth ....

Precap :
Maa - Beta, mujh par vishwaas hai ....
Nupur - Haan maa ..... khud se bhi zyada ....
Maa - To maanegi meri baat, banegi meri bahu ...
Mayank had his back towards the ladies .... he shut his eyes when her heard his maa ...
