PART 1

"What does he think of himself? Stupid. Idiot. Dumb conceited guy!" Riddhima kept muttering insults for Armaan while taking out her homework from her perfectly organized binder.

"Ab Armaan ne kya kiya ridzy?" Nikki sighed as she sat on her seat behind Riddhima. "What? Armaan? Why do you think I would be thinking of that jerk?" Riddhima said, trying to get Mr. I Do My Own Thing out of her head and not letting anyone know how much his little antics got to her.

"Riddhima you really think I, of all people will fall for that?" Nikki questioned, rolling her eyes, " I've known you for like 5 years now, and in this time I've realized the only person you're always either fighting with or cursing is Mr. Popular, Armaan Malik."

"Fine, I was cursing that goofy-smiled idiot, but it is totally his fault this time!" Riddhima said, getting back into her i-hate-armaan mode.

"Mhm, yeah, you are the most innocent angel at our school, you never look for ways to fight with Armaan and get his attention, right?" Nikki said sarcastically, while trying to finish her homework before the bell rang.

"Nikki! How could you say that? You are my best friend, and you think I try to get Armaan's attention? Pshhh, I'd die before trying to get his attention," Riddhima proudly announced and started taking notes as class started.

'Here she goes again', Nikki thought, 'she is one crazy girl, either she is lying to me or herself' she craves Armaan's attention like a drug addict, always finding ways to fight with him or argue with him' with everyone else, she is a complete introvert, the shy, innocent girl' but as soon as Armaan comes her way she becomes a loud, obnoxious, cunning girl scheming a potential fight or thinking of a way to ridicule Armaan' I'm sure she has a crush on him, and hides her true feelings under the fights'now that I think of it, Armaan and Riddhima would make a good couple' Armaan's a sweet guy, though a huge flirt, but he still is a nice person, but I'm not sure if he'll see a simple girl like Riddhima as anything more than a casual friend' and Ms. Riddhima, I myself can never tell exactly what thoughts regarding Armaan are in her head, but I think I can predict her feelings' sigh' I really should pay attention in this class, if I don't do well this semester, im going to be in some serious trouble' ugh, I don't know why im planning on going into engineering, if every concept of physics completely goes over my head'.

After suffering through a lecture on capacitors and resistors, Riddhima and Nikki walked to their lockers. Riddhima was unknowingly thinking of her next attack on Armaan, while Nikki was trying to wrap her head around capacitors. "Physics is sooo not my thing, I don't think I want to go into engineering anymore, I don't get how you understand' Nikki stopped talking as soon as she realized Riddhima was not listening to her. A slow smile crept her face, as she suddenly said, "By the way Riddhima, I think you're wrong about Armaan's smile, it's not a goofy-smile at all, have you seen his dimples? Oyye hoyye, he looks so cute when he smiles."

Riddhima suddenly came back to Earth as she heard Armaan's name, she was about to refute Nikki's claim, even though she knew deep down that she would do anything to see that smile'. Then she saw Armaan standing across the hallway laughing with the snobby cheerleader, Suvarna' she didn't know why, the smile that had appeared on her face on its own thinking about Armaan's dimples suddenly disappeared and she dragged Nikki to the cafeteria on the pretext of eating some chocolate chip cookies.
