Around hundred decades ago, there was a city titled as Aryanagar. Aryanagar was situated in the northern boundary of India right next to a city called Niphaud and Godhwar. Niphaud and Godhwar were drowned in happiness, harmony and honesty yet Aryanagar was filled with dishonesty, adamant work and affliction. It was then, when two brave Rajkumars came into the role of stopping all the dishonesty and wiping out the affliction.
There were two types of societies in Aryanagar. One were baptised as Aryavartas and the others Shramiks. The Aryavartas were lead a comforting and luxurious life with many slaves and maids in their waiting while the Shramiks worked non-stop and lead a very painful and tiring life with no one to put an end to their sorrows. The Aryavartas mainly lived in a boundary near the coast where there were many mansions and manors. Among the mansions and manors was a kingdom where the King himself lived and the fate of the city lay in his and the prime ministers hands.
The King was called Maharaj Aryawardhan who lived in the palace with his sister, Nivitiri, a widow whose only survival is her brother Aryawardhan and son, Veer, and his other brother, Jaiwardhan, a cruel and parsimonious man who treated Shramiks very severely and only relies his trust in his son, Agni. Agni was no different than his father but often got carried away by tears of women whom he developed interest. Maharaj Aryawardhan had a son of his own, a capable and affectionate Rajkumar titled as Dharam.
Now the brotherhood...
Dharam and Veer were two Rajkumars both very different but yet followed the same rule, be affectionate to the people of your world..
Yet, Dharam and Veer were cousins, they treated each other as brothers and were the shield of each other. If one suffered from pain the other would naturally feel it's pain and would be the shield towards him. That is how they carried out missions until..the met..Sia and Ananya..the biggest challenge of their lives was to win their hearts..
Aryanagar - The Palace - Veer's Bedroom
Dharam grasped off the bed cover from Veer's reach. It was a bright sunny day and the birds chirruped out side the beautiful garden of the palace. The sun shone brightly making the day even brighter. Dharam had been used to Veer's "late get up" routine but today was a special day..for him..and even Veer knew it himself but laziness always took him over. Veer had a messy way of sleeping, taking the entire bed and spreading himself out so that his organs got as much maximum space as possible. Veer neglected doing Surya Namaskar and many other duties towards his responsibilities. Dharam and Nivitiri often wondered what would happen when he would get married to a princess but Veer never bothered laying his head on such a "ridiculous" topic, as he called it.
"Veer! Get up now! It's already late and you are still sleeping.." Dharam had said this for the umpteenth time but Veer had yet not been listening.
"What is it, Dharam, that you are waking me up at midnight?" Veer yawned his eyes still shut and a mischievous smile set across his lips.
"Midnight? My brother, Veer, it's nearly the midday! And we haven't yet even left for Niphaud and Godhwar!" Dharam complained, a line of tension spread across his forehead.
"Why do we need to leave for Niphaud and Godhwar?" Veer objected rolling over to the other side of the bed and reaching for the glass of water.
"Veer, have you lost your senses? Rajkumari Sia and Rajkumari Ananya are desperately waiting for us to come and see them and you are here, asking me why we need to leave for Niphaud and Godhwar?" Dharam exclaimed angrily walking over to him.
"Oh, I forgot..Ananya's going to be fuming if I go to her now..so it's better we call the whole thing off," smiled Veer pushing his legs under the bed sheets again.
Dharam was outraged. How could Veer think he would abandon Sia just because of his laziness? Veer was simply careless and he couldn't care less if Ananya was waiting, all he wanted to do was sleep and sleep..
"Veer! I am not going to do that, and we both know it! You may abandon Rajkumari Ananya but I certainly cannot abandon Rajkumari Sia!" Dharam scolded pulling the covers off him again and this time throwing it on the floor. "Get up now, Veer!"
"Just a second, Dharam, let me just finish this stretch and.." Veer was cut short as Dharam pulled him off the bed.
Veer landed on his toes and stretched as he smugly walked towards the changing room, yawning with eyes barely open. Dharam shook his head in pity and sighed. How will you manage, Veer, you are so innocent and sooner or later you will have to accept the throne of Aryanagar along with me..thought Dharam as the tension came back.
Niphaud - The Palace - Garden
"Sia, Sia, Sia! I am so sorry!" cried Dharam as he climbed off his horse, running towards Sia who was sitting angrily on the swing with angry tears shining brightly in her luminous black eyes.
Sia was the princess and the only daughter of the King of Niphaud. She was pampered with love and her wishes were immediately commanded. Sia was spoilt but yet considerate towards everyone. She was a ravishing and tantalising princess who could drive anyone mad behind her..
"Dharam! How dare you!" cried Sia standing up from her swing and holding Dharam by the collar.
Both Veer and Dharam were astonished and perplexed as the princess of Niphaud stood there angrily holding Dharam's collar and twisting it so hard that even the cloth itself would fall apart.
"How dare you walk in this late and apologize!" Sia snapped loosening her grip and pushing him away. Dharam knew, it would be hard to melt Sia's angry heart into a sweet and considerate one and so he had picked up an anklet on the way to Niphaud to impress Sia..
"My dearest Sia, I am very sorry to walk in this late but, I was just so confused on what to gift my Sia," Dharam began sighing and looking apologetic. "I just happen to pick up this anklet after seeing so many.."
Sia smiled at the anklet and finally felt sorry that she had grabbed his collar and misbehaved with him so badly. She immediately hugged him tight as tears of guiltiness streamed down her fair milky cheeks.
"Oh Dharam! I am so sorry..I didn't know.." Sia cried in his shoulder wetting his sleeve with her crocodile tears. Dharam smiled in her hair and stroked her silky black strands. Veer stood behind watching the two lovers finally unite. He was on the verge of laughing when suddenly he remembered that he was already late for Godhwar and he knew that Sia's compensation of a sorry would last more than a day..
"Dharam! I must be off to Godhwar before we all hear Ananya's screams till here.." Veer predicted retracing his steps to the gates of Niphaud's palace.
"Veer, wait, I'll come with you too..Sia.." Dharam began but Veer stopped him as he didn't want to separate the two lovers..
"No, you continue Dharam..I understand your "consequences"," Veer sneered running for the door before Dharam chased him till he was exhausted.
Godhwar - The Palace - Archery Arena
"Rajkumari Ananya, someone's here to meet you.." a Dasi suddenly whispered as the beautiful princess stood with half of her under face veiled and a black turban which hid her hair.
"Whoever it is, tell them to return from wherever they came from, otherwise today, Ananya's temper is quite lost!" warned Ananya holding the bow and arrow and aiming.
"Oh really..well then, I should return back to Aryanagar then shouldn't I?" Veer suddenly spoke up entering the arena. The voice was familiar..too..familiar..
Ananya turned to see Veer standing there with pleading and apologetic eyes. She deliberately ignored the plea in his eyes and indicated with her hand to the Dasis to leave her and Veer alone. The immediately left and as they left, she turned her bow and arrow towards Veer and aimed at his heart.
"Ananya, I am sorry..I," Veer began but was cut short as a sudden arrow approached his heart but he easily stopped it in his hands and the arrow's tip was only an inch away from his heart.
"So much anger..that today..you were going to kill me with this sweet arrow.." Veer smiled at her teasingly and kissed the tip of the arrow. Ananya glared at him with angry eyes and approached him and grabbed his collars, the exact way Rajkumari Sia had to Dharam.
"You will definitely pay for this late arrival!" Ananya vowed looking at him in the eye. Veer gazed at her half veiled face and into her dark deep and vivid black eyes.
"Ananya, I am sorry, but I just happen to bring this gold dagger for you, which you desperately wanted.." Veer lied not telling her actual reason for his late arrival.
"Lie! Another lie! Veer, you cannot fool Ananya. I know you were sleeping like always!" Ananya glared into his mischievous eyes still not loosening her grip. As he pulled the dagger in front of his eyes, she left her grip and grabbed the dagger out of his hands.
"I feel like stabbing this dagger in your chest!" she stated holding the dagger tightly. Veer walked up to her and bent and sat on his knee.
"I am ready to die for you, Ananya.." Veer said coolly stretching his arms apart. That touched, Ananya's heart and she slowly bent down and embraced him tight.
Veer also returned the embrace and sighed as the fragrance of her perfume was inhaled by him..
