..Armaan drives frantically with a million thoughts racing through his mind, he cannot believe that even today after all that has happened Jassi is still his-he needs to speak to her,he needs to tell her how he feels and that his marriage to Mallika meant nothing to him..he decides to phone Raghav to try and see if he can speak to Jassi:
Armaan: Hello..haan Raghav main Armaan bol raha hoon..dekho shayad main jho tumse pooch ne jaraha hoon tumhe woh thora ajeeb lage, lekin kya main Mrs Oberoi mera mathlab Jassi se baath kar saktha hoon?..
Raghav: Armaan,,his voice breaks slightly..Jassi yeh ghar chod kar challi gayi hai,aur mujhe batha kar bhi nahin gayi ke who kahaan ja rahi hai,maine uske ghar ko phone kiya lekin vahaan koi nahin hai..his eyes brim with tears and he quickly says his farewells before Armaan can ask him anymore..
Armaan is puzzled as to where Jassi could have gone; a feeling of worry soon starts to overtake his happiness and nostalgia…he receives a call from GM,they want him to go to Goa as soon as possible in order to try and finalise the film deal..He sighs and reluctantly agrees to go,afterall he cant let Jassi down by ignoring Gulmohar..
Back at his home after a heated confrontation with his parents Armaan enters his room and begins to pack...
Armaan: Jassi main tumhe doond kar hi rahoonga,mujhe rishwas hain apne aap par aur apne pyaar par..Jassi tumse hi maine seekha ke pyaar kya hai..tum meri zindagi mein aayi aur meri zindagi hi badal gayi aur kab tum meri zindagi ban gayi mujhe patha bhi nahin chala..Mujhe poora yakeen hai jassi ke tum apne armaan ko zaroor maaf kardogi…
Meanwhile in a quiet caf in the beautiful surroundings of Goa, a person sits all alone…tears falling endlessly from eyes which reflect sheer determination-determination to destroy those who took everything from her…Her heart aches, and a sharp pain stabs at her chest as the sadness she feels almost chokes her…
'Armaan Suri,main tumhe barbaad kar ke hi chodoongi..aaj tak har kadam par maine hi tumhe har moseebath se bacchaiyya lekin ab nahin..'
With a pained expression which only those who have lost in love can relate to, she gets up and slowly makes her way back to her hotel room, back to her loneliness to once again try to win her battle…
Armaan approaches Goa and is astounded by its beauty..a strange feeling makes him feel alert for a second..
Armaan: Na jaane kyon,lekin in khoobsurat nazaaron mein mujhe apna pyaar diktha hai..
Armaan finally reaches his destination-his mind feels at ease almost as if what hes looking for will be found here-in Goa itself..he remembers the last time he ventured out for GM and how he'd insulted Jassi in the process,his cute face saddens for a second but he is soon distracted by something unusual..
Armaan: 'Nandu??!'..
..his eyes cant believe what he is seeing,how can nandu be here in Goa and why is he here?-a hundred questions race through his mind,when he turns, Nandu has disappeared..He approaches the reception desk and quickly asks as to who the gentlemen that was here a minute ago was..
Receptionist: Sir,woh Nandan Verma hain-humaare hi hotel mein guest hain,woh Karishma Fashion house ke saath aayen hain..
Armaan: Karishma Fashion House??..hmmmm ok thanks alot..
He gets the keys to his own room and walks away puzzled-
'Is ka mathlab yeh hai ke Nandu Karishma ka head hain..aur woh GM ko haraane ki poori koshish kar raha hai-lekin itni dushmani kyun?!..'
Armaan finds it difficult to comprehend that Nandu could be the sole driving force behind Karishma-a company that has virtually overnight becomes GM's main competitor-he feels something is amiss,how can Nandu possess so much knowledge about the fashion industry-this can only mean one thing-that someone else is involved-and that individual can only be one person..
'Nahin..nahin jassi?,Kya jassi Karishma ke peeche hai?..'
Armaan's heart sinks and he finds himself fighting back the tears..he had changed himself for jassi and not only himself but Gulmohar too..Jassi and GM were always the one and the same-but today..
'Aaj tak mujhe Gulmohar ki har jeet mein jassi ki jeet nazar aati thi,lekin main tho jassi ko haar detha raha..'
-Armaan breaks as he staggers into his room..'
..'Maine apni zindagi ko haradiya!!..'
and he weeps vowing that he'll return everything to her,today jassi hates him but he knew that somewhere down the line he was at fault..Love could never be demanded or conquered and never questioned-he had tried to hold onto his love whilst trying to force respect from it..he had questioned the one person who meant everything to him..and he felt that now it was time that he returned happiness to his love,even if it meant his own loss..
Back in Jassi's hotel room,nandu and jassi are both talking..a phonecall comes in and both are astounded to hear that Gulmohar has withdrawn from the deal completely!..Jassi feels happiness but yet her heart feels something is wrong,she moves towards the open window and looking out senses that someone else is thinking about her..
Goa resort-Nandu and Jassi are in her room:
Jassi peers through the open window and is mesmerised by the beauty her eyes find difficult to absorb,to her annoyance her mind keeps drifting to thoughts of Armaan..'Kyun mera dil mujhe hamesha kamzor kar detha hai..'..'Nahin Jassi ab tumhe apne is dil ki awaz ko maarna hoga..Armaan Suri tumhaari barbaadi ab kareeb hai..'
Nandu:'Jassi?!..Tum sun bhi rahi ho ke nahin?!!..'
Jassi turns as she is brought back to reality..she smiles as she looks at the annoyed expression on Nandus face..
Jassi: 'Haan haan main sun rahi hoon!..Itna gussa kyun kar rahe ho..'
Nandu:'Jassi, tumhe kuch ajeeb nahin lagtha ke GM is deal se peeche hat gaya? Gm ke liye yeh deal tho bohath zaroori thi..'
Jassi: 'Hmmmm..soch tho main bhi yahi thi..lekin humme kya..hum tho yahi chaathe the na?..Ab Armaan Suri barbaad hojaye ga,aur GM ka naam aur nishaan mit jaaye ga..'
She turns her face away from her friend and is surprised to find her cheeks moist,she wipes away the tears defiantly..a disturbed expression fills her face as she wonders why..Why does she feel so sad for Armaan after all that he ahd done to her?, She had succeeded in her maqsad but yet her heart felt devoid of all happiness..WHY?..
Next morning-Goa beach near the resort:
Armaan walks alone and sadly towards the beach,he looks at the beach and remembers his Jassi-'Jassi hum bhi samunder aur kinaare jaisse the-hum laak koshish karthe rahe milne ke liye lekin kudrat ko kuch aur manzoor tha..'
'Mr Armaan Suri..'
Armaan turns as his heart beats fasten,hes faced by Jassi..'Kyun jassi?,kyun aaj bhi mera dil sirf tumhaare liye dhadaktha hai?..'
'Mr Suri..main aap se baath kar rahi hoon!..'
Armaan: 'Jassi..tum yahaan?..'
Before she can continue they are interrupted by a young woman -Maam,aap yeh kapra dekh lijiye-yeh fashion show ke liye teek hai na..i mean mujhe Nandu sir ne kahaan tha ke aap ko har faisle ke pehle consult karna padega..'
Jassi quiclky tells her to leave and she looks towards Armaan-her secret has been revealed-Armaan will now know that she is the head of Karishma..'Ab tho tum jaan hi chooke hoge ke main hi Karishma ki head hoon..kyun Armaan kaisa laga?..main hi tumhaari aur tumhaare pyaare GM ki barbaadi ka kaaran hoon..'
Armaans eyes brim with tears but he says nothing..'Kyun Mr Suri ab hogayi tumhaari bolthi bandh?..tumhaari khamoshi hi tumhaari bewafaai ka sab se bara sabhooth hai,,I HATE YOU ARMAAN SURI!', mujhe apne aap par gin aathi hai,ke maine tum jaisse insaan se kabhi pyaar kiya..'
With that she turns and walks off,leaving avery tearful Armaan behind..
'Jassi main tho sirf tumhaara sapna poora karna chaatha tha..maine hamesha tumhe apna ek hisa maana..lekin aaj mujhe ehsaas hogaya ke tum meri kabhi nahin ho sakthi..' with that realisation he turns to face the sea..
Goa Beach:
Jassi continued walking briskly away from Armaan and at one point a passerby may have thought she was running..running away from her feelings and her past..Jassi struggled to hold back the tears-she wondered if these tears were ones of happiness or despair..
Meanwhile Armaan stood silently,he had finally made his decision..as heart breaking as it was-he would leave Jassi and pursue her no further-He had decided that he would live not with the regret that he had lost his love but with the happiness that he had experienced it..Armaan found himself feeling a deep sense of loss almost as if someone very close to him had died..he spent the remainder of the evening there,recollecting old memories which were now destined to become echoes of a beautiful past ...
'Jassi main tumhe hamesha khush dekhna chaatha tha, lekin afsos main hi har baar tumhaare dukh ka kaaran bana..Aaj mujhe yeh ehsaas hua jassi ke jodiyaan sach mein upar banthi hain-shayad khuda ko humaara saath manzoor nahin tha..Phir bhi jassi mere dil se tumhaare liye dua nikalthi hai-tum hamesha khush raho aur is ehsaas ke saath jeo ke duniya ki kissi kone mein koi hai jo tumse bohath pyaar kartha hai..' Tears roll down his cheeks as he chokes on emotions which overwhelm him..he has finally said farewell to his Jassi..
Goa Resort-Jassis room:
Jassi is sitting almost lost and distant in her room when Nandu rushes in..
Nandu: 'Jassi!!!..Jassi..'
Jassi gets up worried at the state of her friend who is now out of breath..'Kya hai Nandu..tum itne ghabraaye hue kyun ho?!!..kuch tho bolo..'
Nandu:'Jassi..Woh Aryan Seth aaya hai..aur woh humse milna chaatha hai-jassi kahin woh yeh tho nahin jaan chuka ke hum hi Karishma ke maalik hain..'
Jassi:'Nandu!! tum ne tho mujhe dara hi diya!!-BEWAKOOF!!-Dekho agar aryan seth sacch jaan bhi jaaye tho humme kya!?..main tho abhi usse jaakar sacch batha doon gi-mujhe ab kissi ka darr nahin!!..'
With that final statement she brushes past Nandu-her eyes blazing with sheer determination-she marches towards the main lobby of the hotel and soon spots Aryan speaking on his phone..She approaches and is mortified to hear what is being said..
Aryan:'Haan,haan Parbatlal!-Tumhe tumhaare paisse mil jaayenge!-ab mera peecha chor do samjhe tum!!..Main jaantha hoon ke tumne hi Jassi ko passaaya humaare saath milkar lekin kuch sabr tho karo!..Jassi yeh nahin jaan sakthi ke Armaan nirdosh hain-ke woh kuch nahin jaantha..'
Jassi could hear no more..her legs felt weak-she had felt like this earlier when Purab had dumped her but then Armaan had supported her-but today who would support her?-she ran like a woman possessed towards her room and locked herself in-leaving a rather worried nandu behind..
Jassi wept as if her whole world had been destroyed,how could she have been so wrong?-memories of the past flooded her brain almost making her want to choke-her hateful words spoken to armaan echoed in her ears piercing her heart like daggers-She had to meet Armaan-she just had to..
Outside the Goa resort:
Jassi ran outside almost as if she was on a mission to save her life from ruins-but a thought stopped her in her tracks..she stood shocked as the Old Jassi stood in front of her staring shamefully at her..
Old Jassi:'Wah Jassi wah! maan gaye tum ko-kya pyaar hai tumhaara!!-jis jassi ko tum dekh rahi ho na, woh apne armaan sir ke liye jaan tak dene ke liye tayaar thi, lekin tum..Chee..tum tho sirf rishwas ke bhashan de sakthi ho jab ke tum khud kissi ke pyaar ke laayak nahin..'
Jassi:'Nahin main..'
Before she can finish the old ghost of her former self disappears-the realisation dawns on her that she has destroyed armaan and maybe with it the chances of evr getting him back..
Jassi stands motionless and finally her legs give way as she falls to the floor in a pathetic mess..'Armaan mujhe kabhi maaf nahin karega..aur agar woh mujhe maaf kartha bhi hai,tho..tho kya main uske pyaar ke laayak hoon?..Nahin jassi..nahin..tum Armaan ko aur dukh kyun dena chaathi ho,usse azaad kardo..'
With that defeated thought she manages to get to her feet and makes her way back to her room..On entering she is faced by a very worried and agitated Nandu..
Nandu:'Jassi!!..Tum apne aap ko samajhthi kya ho huh?..main tumhaare liye itna pareshaan tha..tum is tarah se ro kyun rahi thi?..jassi kuch tho bolo!!'
Jassi:'Nandu..' she chokes as her throat feels tightened..'Main haar gayi nandu..main haar gayi..'
Nandu quickly takes his best friend into his arms and tries to console her but to no avail..'Jassi..dekho rona bandh karo aur mujhe bathao ke akhir hua kya?'
Jassi relates what she heard Aryan say over the phone and Nandu too winces at every word..hes shocked beyond belief and soon is overtaken by guilt too..
Nandu: 'Mujhe tho yakken hi nahin horaha jassi..hum itne galath kaisse the?!..humne tho GM ko barbaad hi kardiya..usse barbaad kardiya jisne hamesha humaara bala chaaha..ab hum kya karenge jassi?..'
Jassi:'Nahin Nandu..ab hum hi Armaan ko uski khushiyaan lautadenge..main Karishma Armaan ko saump doongi'..
Nandu: 'Kya?!..lekin jassi woh humse Karishma nahin lega..Armaan apne GM ko bacchanna chaatha tha,woh GM jo uske papa ne shuroo ki..Karishma se tho uska koi rishtha nahin,woh humse woh company kyun lega jo tum chalaathi ho?..'
Jassi feels that somewhere along the line Nandu is right-Why would Armaan want a company from Jassi afetr she destroyed him?..they sat together all night discussing what to do and finally hatched up a plan of action..
Meanwhile somewhere in a lonely room,Armaan received a call..Suzanne had decided that her company would give GM a chance and merge with them..Armaan is shocked beyond belief!..
