Part 4

Riddhima who was really nervous at the time being due to not knowing the reason to why armaan had called her to his cabin had finally reached his cabin. She was dead frozen at the door of the cabin and a million questions were running around in her mind. At last, she pushed away all of the questions that were in her mind and after hesitating a bit, she finally knocked.

A: (hears a knock) come in (riddhima enters the cabin)

R: tumne……..I mean apne mujhe bulaya?

A: haan…who…….actually (interrupted by the peon)

Peon: can I come in sir?

A: come in (peon enters) kya kaam hai?

Peon: sir darasal apne kuch files mangayi thi toh bare sahab pooch rahe the k apne who files kyun mangayi hai joh k pehle se checked hai aur clear hochuki hai?

A: haan….who.who.bare sahab ko kaho k mein khuda is baare mein unse baat karloonga…..ok? (peon nodds and leaves) haan toh riddhima jee hum kahan the?

R: tum……I mean aap ne mujhe kisi kaam se bulaya tha.

A: haan…..I remember…….I want you to check all these files (points to the pile)

R: but yeh toh already checked hai na? toh phir kyun?

A: aap wapas check karlengi toh apki ankhon pe chashme agayenge? (riddhima nodds a no) to phir? Jaye aur check kijiye. (riddhima nodds in agreement)

Riddhima tries to pick up the pile of 20 huge files and she eventually does. She reaches the door. Where on one hand, riddhima is trying to open the door, on the other hand, armaan is trying to hold his laugh. At the end, riddhima ends up loosing her balance and is about to fall wen in time armaan comes and holds her by her waist. Riddhima is saved, but the files are on the floor. Riddhima opens her eyes and finds another pair of eyes staring deep into her own. Both have a curte eyelock, 5 mins pass and suddenly the phone starts ringing. Both come out of the trance and get up.

A: (shuffling his hairs) um……mein phone dekh kar ata hoon.

R: hmmm (armaan goes and picks the phone up; riddhima starts collecting her files)

When armaan has finished his convo on the phone, he turns around and there is nobody there, riddhima has already left. Armaan goes back to his chair and sits down. All he can think abt are the two eyes that he was staring into and how the only thing that he could see in them was truth and innocence. Armaan was lost in his thoughts again but soon came out of them.

A: shucks, wat am I doing? All I should think abt is how to irritate that riddhima tiddhima (realizes wat he just said) riddhima tiddhima? Kewl armaan, nice name.

One one hand, where armaan was happy with his new creation, on the other hand, riddhima was mad at armaan for giving her baseless work.

R: pata nahin kya samajta hai apne aapko, ise toh mein choroongi nahin. Is baat ka badla toh ise chukana hi hoga. And I'll make sure of it.

Riddhima starts to check the files. It is 10:00pm by the time she is finished.

R: itni thak gayi hoon….yeh sab kuch us armaan ki wajah se hua hai. Oh god, kuch aisa karo k is armaan ka yahan se transfer hojaye. Ek kaam karo, use registaan bhejdo, atleast wahan toh kisi ko pareshan nahin karega. (riddhima keeps on blabbering not realizing that armaan is standing outside the door listening to her) bohot maza ayega (looks at the clock) oh god der hochuki hai, I should be leaving. (leaves)

A: (thinks to himself) don't worry riddhima tiddhima…….maza toh ayega. MUHAHAH.
