thanx yaar..per concept ka humain pata hai. I know how the story should progress and end. bas jahan se khatam kiya hai..wahan se uthaa nahi paa rahe. lets see...shayed dimagh ki khidkiyan khul jaaye...open sesame!! 😆

~~~~~~~~~Part 6: ...and the story begins~~~~~~~~~

At the cafeteria…Mayank is waiting for Nupur. He is feeling quite nervous…he has never sat like this with a girl before. He looks around and talks to himself:

"yeh saare log meri hi taraf kyun ghoor rahe hai? kya innko pata chal gaya hai k aaj Nupur se yahan meri mulaqat hai?…then again, main itna fiker kyun kar raha hoon. poora university couple bannke ghum raha hai, maine ek cup chaaye kya pi liya duniya ko taqleef hone lagi…huh! per agar kisine aake pooch liya k yeh larki kaun hai Mayank? to tu kya kahega? ermm…"

While Mayank was busy answering his own questions, Nupur is seen walking inside the cafeteria…she is in plain white salwar kameez, white dupatta, open hair..hardly any makeup on her but with some books holding very close to her heart…one of those books is of course..Qayenaat. Mayank sees her and instantly forgets all the concerns and worries he had in his mind…as if nothing and absolutely nothing mattered anymore in front of that simplistic beauty. Nupur came to his table and sat down…Mayank wasn't feeling shy anymore, in fact he was feeling proud because to him he was sitting with the most beautiful girl in the world and the world seemed to be nothing but envious of him. Mayank is deeply lost in Nupur when Nupur waived her hands in front of his eyes..
N: ahem…kahan kho gaye aap?
M: jee..aap hi me :)
N: acchah..humain laga kisi aur ki intezar bhi hai aapko jo hum aaye aur beith bhi gaye ..na aap ke nazrein hili aur na hi aap ki palken jhapki
M: nazrein iss liye nahi jhuki kyun ki duniya ki sabse khubsoorat shay per nazar par gayi aur palke iss liye nahi jhapki kyun ki humain lagah palkein jhapakte hi yeh khwaab aankhon se hat jayega aur humain jaaga dega
N: per aap to jaage hue hai? :)
M: Khuda ka shuker hai ke jaage hue hai…warna yeh lamhe khuli aankhon se kahan mehsoos kar sakte the?
N: aap kya hamesha aise hi shayeraana andaaz se baat karte hai?
M: aaj se pehle to kabhi nahi kiya..shayed kisi ki aane ka dastak hai yeh jissne shayer bana dia
N:aap ko shayer kaun bana sakta hai? woh to aap pehle se hi hai woh bhi bohat acche shayer
M: shayeri? woh kya hai? hum to bas apna dil ka sunte hai aur dil ki likhte hai. yeh to kisiki nazar ka karam hai jo kuch bikhre hue alfaaz ab sher jaise lagne lage hai :)

Nupur feels shy and she starts looking around to avoid looking into his eyes. Then she whispers to him..

N: yeh log kya humain hi ghoor rahe hai?
M: (doesn't move his eyes from Nupur) dekhne dijiye..darasal inhe ranj ho rahi hai
N: ranj?kis baat per?
M: k Mayank ki kismet itni acchi kaise nikli? k duniya ki sabse haseen aur pyari larki usske saath beithi hai
N: uhu…ranj shayed unko iss baat per hai k Mayank jaisa itna handsome aur perfect larka jisse do lafz kehne k liye larkiyan barson intezar kar rahe hai..woh larka Nupur ke saath chaaye pi raha hai :)
M: arre chaaye se yaad aaya, humnain to kuch order hi nahi kiya? chaaye..right?
N: actually nimbu chaaye…baghair shakkar ke :) jo yahan per nahi milta. so chaaye hum hamesha khud banake ghar per hi lete hai
M: tajjab hai! ermm to ab kya lenge aap?
N: juice, koi bhi
M: abhi laya..

And this is how their "so-called, unofficial, no-one knows" kinda date goes. Many a days passed by since then and Mayank and Nupur are often seen together either in cafeteria or in the library or walking towards classrooms but almost everyday walking home together. One of those days…when Mayank is waiting for Nupur to go home together and of course Nupur is late! Mayank can't help but constantly looking at his watch as he gets impatient and then suddenly Nupur comes rushing to him
N: sorry..humain late hogayi. woh CJ se kuch notes lene the
M: tumhe pata hai hum kitne dair se yahan per intezar kar rahe hai?
N: sorry kaha na..lo kaan bhi pakar liye..ab to ghussa thuk do
M: huh..
N: hmm…to hum ghar akele hi chale jaate hai …and she starts walking..when Mayank holds her hand
M: khabardar…ek to late ker diya aur ab itne late ghar akele jaoge?
N: haaye…ab kya kare? jissne har roz humain ghar hizfazat se pohchane ka vaada kiya tha..aaj wohi rooth kar beitha hai. ab hum jaaye bhi to kahan jaaye?
M: accha accha…agar yeh natak ab khatam hogaya ho to ghar chale?
N: (smiles) jee..

They walk together quietly for some time when Nupur, again, breaks the silence

N: kya hua? itne chupchap kyun ho? abhi tak naraaz ho?
M: nahi Nupur…bas tumhari kahi ek baat soch raha tha
N: kya?
M: yehi k kya main tumse kiya hua har vaada main nibha paoonga?
N: aise kyun soch rahe ho? kyun nahi nibha paaoge?
M: humain ghalat mat samajhna Nupur. jab tak seene me aakhri saans bhi baaqi hai tab tak tumse kiya hua har vaada hum nibhaayenge. bas darr hai duniya ka…agar kisine tumhe humse chheen liya to? yeh pehlibaar to nahi aur na hi pehle hum hai jinhe duniyadaari ne alag karne ki kaushish ki ho.
N: aisa kuch nahi hoga Mayank. bas tum apna parhai khatam karlo aur koi acchi se job join karlo aur phir papa se baat karle na :) sab theek hoga…tum fiker mat karo itna
M: (smiles..) accha suno, university jo picnic ka arange kar rahi hai…tum jaa rahe ho?
N: hmm…papa se pooch lenge aaj. agar woh ijaazat de to zaroor jaana hai. tum?
M: well..agar aap ki papa permission de to hum bhi chalenge
N: haa? meri papa ki permission tumhe kyun chahiye?
M: arre tumhari papa tumhe permission denge to tum chaloge aur agar tum chaloge to hi main jaoonga na! tumhare baghair main wahan jaake kya karoonga?? bore ho jaoonga!
N: haayee…aap ki issi ada per to fida hogaye hum
M: (smiles)
N: waise suniye janab…jaise aadat laga rakkhi hai aap ne hamari, kabhi agar hamare baghair jeena pare to bohat mushkil hoga aapko :)
M: (becomes quiet for a while and walks with his eyes on the ground)
N: kya hua? Mayank…??
M: (looks up…and his eyes are wet)
N: Mayank??? hum...
M: (puts his fingers on her lips) …

to kya hua jo mohabbat ko anjaam na mila
to kya hua jo rishte ko naam na mila
woh aur the jo lutaaye jaan ishq me magar
meri hi maut ko qatal-e-aam na mila

Nupur instantly hugs him and holds him tight in her arms…she just whispers two words to herself.." Yah Khuda…"
