When it is served they all start eating and coughing. Many put down their plates and stand up along with Maya Ma.
Rajkumaris: Yeh kya ghand banaya hai! Itna namak! Tumhara dimmak toh teek hai na!

They stomp off leaving Indravati puzzled. Maya Ma turns to Indravati.

Maya Ma: Indravati agar aap ko nahi bana aata toh phir humme baata dehna ta?
Indravati: Par..?
Maya Ma: Bas..ab jaiye aur inse maafi magiye.

Sanyogita, Chamki and Vaishali burst out laughing. Prithvi finds himself relieved to find a single smile on her face. But one thought was troubling him. Who was Sanyogita writing the sandesh to? He decided to go and inspect in her room. He found the rolled up scroll in her steel box where she kept her valuables. It read:

Dadi Ma,

Humme yahan kuch bhi nahi acha lagra hai. Hum wapis Mahal mein anna chahte hain par Pitaji ka ghussa dekh kar hum darja teh hai. Hum uss Prithviraj Chauhan se bohut tang aiye hain. Hum jaante hain ke woh aik Baba ka roop leke phir agya humare peeche. Hum usse bohut nafrat karte hain. Aapki Sanyogita

Prithvi could hardly believe it that she knew he was Baba. She had deliberately not shown it to him or to anyone else. He felt gutted by this and couldn't bear in that she hated him. But he thought he would try and win her heart no matter what. He rolled up the scroll and placed it back in the steel box. He left feeling very negative.

Maya Ma: Aaaaah! Aaaaaaag! Bago! Bago!
Vaishali: Rajkumari Sanyogita! Wahan Aaag Hai! Aiye aap rasoi se bahir!

But Sanyogita was trapped in the fire. She tried looking for an escape route but found that she was trapped. Soon Prithvi came to the side where she was backing away from the fires. He without thinking jumped in and found an escape route by getting himself half burnt and pulling her out. The fire was wiped out in time as several Rajkumaris through buckets of water.

Chamki: Aaap, teek toh hai na?
Sanyogita: Haan hum teek hai.
Maya Ma: Kisne kiya aise behuda mazak? Kiski jurat hoi ke unno ne Rajkumari ko jalane ki koshish ki!

Everyone looked around at every puzzled sight except for Indravati who stood behind with an evil grin on her lips. Prithvi at once noticed.

Prithvi (Baba): Mere hayal se..yeh..Indravati..ka kaam hai..
Indravati: Kya! Maya Ma..yeh dongi Baba jhoot bolra hai!
Maya Ma: Aaap..aisa kyun kehre hain?
Prithvi (Baba): Kyunki maine inko rasoi mein dekha tha..maaf kije..
Maya Ma: Kya yeh sach hai?
Chamki: Haan humne bhi dekha tha! Tumne kiya yeh.
Maya Ma: Iss baat ka faisla hum kal subhe karenge. Ab jaiye Rajkumari Sanyogita ke liye khane ka intezaam kije.
Sanyogita: Nahi, humari saaza abhi puri nahi hoi. Hum apne kadam peeche nahi hatenge.

And with that she walks off leaving everyone surprised. Prithvi who sat outside near the fountain recalled back his fight on the lake which brought a smile to his face. He did not notice Sanyogita arrive.

Sanyogita: Prithvi?
Prithvi (Baba): Haa?
Sanyogita: Hum jaante hain ke tum Prithvi ho. Dekho..hum tumhe shukriya kehne ai hen.
Prithvi: Is meh shukriya ki kya baat hai..? Woh toh hum kisi aur keliye bhi karte.

Sanyogita jerked herself on the grass a bit far from him. She leaned next to the fountain and whispered.

Sanyogita: Tum yahan kyun aiye ho?
Prithvi: Main..woh..tumse..uss..tapad ke liye maafi mangne aiya hoon..
Sanyogita: Koi baat nahi..woh uss raat hum bhi galat te..humme ghussa aagya aur humne jala diya..
Prithvi: Nahi..tumne..kuch galat nahi kiya..woh..aek chaal thi..
Sanyogita: Prithvi..hum..yatra main jana chahte hain lekin..pitaji..
Prithvi: Dekho..tum..yahi raho..tumhare pitaji bohut ghussa karenge agar tum yaha se baagi..
Sanyogita: Toh phir hum kya karen! Hum aazad hona chahte hain! Tum aek din mahal mein Sanyogita ban ke raho..tumhe pata chale ga..ke hummari zindagi..kitni..

She went quiet. Soon he began to understand how she felt. She started again.

Sanyogita: Aur phir yahan..yeh Indravati aur Maya Ma..apne aap ko samajti kya hain! Uss Indravati ko to hum chore gein nahi! Aur Maya Ma..hum unke khane mein itni mirchi dalenge ke unhone bhi hume waapis na bheja toh phir humara naam bhi Sanyogita nahi.

Prithvi chuckled. He loved when she got angry and such plan went in her mind.

Prithvi: Humme yehi baat tumhari bohut pasand hai..isli hum tumhe itna pasand...
Sanyogita: KYA?
Prithvi: Mera matlab hai ke..
Chamki: Rajkumari! Rajkumari!
Sanyogita: Kya hua?
Chamki: Woh...woh..Rajkumar Vikram..unho neh aap ke pitaji se kaha ke woh apse shaadi..
Sanyogita: KYA!?
Chamki: Haan! Aur..aur..Maharaj neh haan kardi! Woh..kal subhe nikal reh hain apko lene keliye..
Sanyogita: Nahi! Hum yahan ek pal bhi nahi rukhe ge..hum jare hain..

Prithvi felt as if a dagger had pressed into his heart. He could not imagine his Sanyogita getting married to that lusty Vikram...but he could not tell Sanyogita about his feelings too.
