Together Forever: Till the End of Time <3

As our bodies moved in synch with each other, his broad arm wrapped around my bare waist, his grey eyes, expressing more than words ever could, set intensely upon my gaze, igniting the fire that was beginning to form in our bodies. He held onto my other hand tightly, whilst mine rested on his shoulder, as we swayed to the melodious tune of 'Bahon Ki Darmiyaan', the essence and ambiance of the night capturing the better of our emotions. The aura of that beautiful night four years ago was mingling in the air- the night that changed my life, gave it a new meaning, gave our relationship a new meaning. A night that would always remain precious to us in every step in life. As I looked into his eyes, I thanked God for bringing Armaan Mallik into my life and filling it with colors. A smile formed on the corner of his lips, his dimples setting in deep, as I sighed to myself and rested my head on his shoulder. Clutching onto the black long-sleeved shirt he was wearing, feeling secure in his embrace, my mind going back into the memories of that night, as he held me close to himself, leaning his head against mine.

Cursing Armaan in my mind, I stepped out of the car as the driver brought it to a halt. First off being dead tired, coming home from hospital duty, and finding out from Maa that Armaan was waiting for me at the beach are NOT a good combination. I just wanted to collapse into the bed at that time and go off into a deep slumber, but I don't think I can ever get moments of peace in my life with Armaan Mallik being there! I'm gonna kill him, I said to myself as I toiled over how fishy maa's insistence on making me go to meet Armaan seemed.

The stars shone exuberantly amongst the pitch black night sky whilst the cool streams of wind added a touch of magic to the atmosphere of the peaceful night. As I grabbed a tighter hold on my dupatta, wrapping the thin sheet around my shoulders, taking off my heels, letting my feet sink into the sand, I walked towards the waves. Leaning down, sprinkling some water on my face as I flinched, I couldn't help but feel at peace. Maybe I shouldn't curse Armaan she thought in her mind, running her hand through her hair, as the wind blew fiercely this time, the weather diminishing the state of exhaustion in her body. But where is the gaadha she wondered just when someone grabbed her from behind, their fingers slowly tightening on her waist, spinning her, round and round.

"Armaaaannnnnnnn" she yelled as they soon broke into outbreaks of laughter as he continued spinning her. As they calmed down a few moments later and he brought her down, she hit his shoulder playfully before leaning her head down in his shoulder. "Tumhe hamesha maazak sooj tha rehta hai..kabhi nahi badloge "she sighed to herself, shaking her head against his shoulder as he laughed to himself and softly planted a kiss on her hair.

"Toh patao..why did you call me here?" she asked amusingly, her hands grasped around his neck, her feet on his feet, his hands around her waist, as he supported her weight and walked along the shore of the beach a couple of moments later.

"Hmm pataon…pataon??! Should I tell you" he contemplated telling her jokingly, irking her curiosity.

She pouted. "Fine don't tell me…Mera time kyun waste kiya"

"How about I show you?" as he turned her around, making her face a small canopy that was decorated with rose petals, leading to a table towards the center, where a heart-shaped box was set along with champagne and two sets of glasses.

Riddhima took in everything before her eyes, shocked and numb, bringing her hand to her mouth in disbelief. Armaan took a magnificent piece of solitaire out of the heart box, getting down on his knees, he said with a soothing tone, his eyes expressing an ocean of love, "Will you marry me Riddhima Gupta and become Riddhima 'Basket' Mallik? He grabbed my hand and kissed it tenderly. "I need you in my life…You're the only girl whose managed to entice me to such an extent that I see you everywhere..Only you basket! I need you to be mine, and only mine!"

That one question changed my life. Never did I expect the day I was waiting for would finally come. The day where my rajkumar would enter my life and take me away! The more I think about it now, despite how much Armaan and I quarreled, fights often proved to be the start of love, such as in our case. Armaan had indeed come as a blessing in my life. Protecting me several times like a real rajkumar would do. The bomb blast incident would always remain the greatest example of this in my life. He was willing to risk his life for me. That incident changed my life for the better and showed me that Armaan was indeed my Rajkumar and would forever be!

As tears brimmed in the corner of my eyes, I leaned down and kissed his forehead softly and caressed his face, "Yes, yes I would". As soon as the 'yes' came out of my mouth, the rain showered on the beach as if it celebrated the union of two souls as Armaan slipped the ring on my finger. With that, we hugged each other tightly, as if on a reflex, our happiness reflecting through our tears.

My excitement knew no boundaries that night. I ran out to the open beach and spread my arms out as the rains sprinkled their magic. Armaan couldn't help but smile seeing my childness, which is one of the qualities he loved in me. He soon crept up behind me, slowly rubbing his arms on my waist, resting his head on my shoulders, as we got drenched from head to toe. He slowly planted kisses on my face and neck, sucking the rain drops off my face. We spent the rest of the night, cuddled in each other's arms, dancing intimately in the rain, before he dropped me home, lost in the aura of those beautiful few moments<3

I was jolted back to reality as Armaan whispered in my ear, rubbing his finger slightly on my waist "Mere khayalon main khoyi hui thi?!?." He winked. "Happy Anniversary Riddhima...Four long years and you still manage to look as sexy in a sari as before." As Riddhima blushed profusely she managed to add, smiling slyly, "Four long years aur tumhari nautanki nahi gayi aaj tak." "No no no, let me also add, four years, ek pyarri si bachi ki maa, "he said as he looked over at Anjali holding their infant daughter at the party, rubbing his hand on her stomach, he added "one more coming on the way, and I swear you manage to look even more beautiful than the first time I saw you!""How do you do it Basket?! How do you manage to do it?!?" they broke into a cry of laughter as Riddhima playfully hit him.

"I love you Riddhima," he added as he held her face in her hands and kissed her softly on her lips. "Thank you for coming in my life and making it all the more beautiful."

She smiled as she pecked him back, "No, thank you," she sighed in his embrace, shutting her eyes, "for making me who I am and filling my life with your love. I couldn't be any happier..It's your love that keeps me going.."
