PART 8

Five years later............

Sanjeevani hospital..........

"sister lovely yeh patient ki file aise kaise gum hogayi? Aur aaplog kar kya rahe hai??? Itni laparwahi nahi chalegi is hospital mein samjhi aap jaaiye jaakar woh file dhundiye aur aadhe ghante mein mujhe who file mere cabin mein laake dijiye" a women yelled at the sister
"jiii doctor keerti" said a frightened sister lovely. Everyone in the hospital was scared of doctor keerti. For her, her patients mattered the most. She cudnt tolerate any irresponsible behavior towards her patient. Fuming with anger she headed towards her cabin. She sat on her table and rested her head between her palms. Just at tat moment someone tapped on her shoulder. She looked up to find a man standing before her with a sweet smile on his face and a glass of water in his hand. She smiled at him taking the glass.
"aap yahan kya kar rahe hain?" she asked him, her anger slowly subsiding
"ab kya karun apni biwi ko dekhe bina toh mera ek pal bhi nahi katta aaj kal" he said looking at her with all the love in his eyes.
Keerti blushed at his comment . he smiled seeing her "yeh toh breaking news hai.......saare interns ki hitler yahan Sharma rahi hai..........yeh toh aajke saare newspapers ki headline honi chahiye" he teased her
Hearing this keerti smacked him lightly on his arm and said " shubhankar aap bhi na. acha ab jaaiye yahan se. mujhe bahut kaam hai"
"haan bhai apne pati ko chodke baaki saara kaam yaaad rehta hai na aapko" he said with a fake anger to which keerti smiled sweetly and said
"ab kya karun aaj aapke ladlon ka pehla din jo hai..........pata nahi aate hi kaisa toofan khada karenge........aur unke saamne naaraj rehna kitna mushkil hai aap bhi jaante hai..............aur mein jaanti hoon aapko. Aap toh unhe kuch bolenge nahi sab mujhe hi karna hoga. "
"arre haan mujhe toh yaad hi nahi raha. Waise keerti tum bhi unhe jyaada kaam mat diya karna aur na hi utna daantana............woh log responsible hai yeh toh hum bhi jaante hai...........bas thode se mastikhor hai par bahut hi pyaare hai na"
"jaanti hoon shubhankar but mein apne personal aur professional life ko mix nahi kar sakti. Yahan par mein unki di nahi balki doctor keerti hoon unki senior aur agar galati karenge to jaise aaj tak sabko daant mili hai waise unhe bhi milegi.........aur haan aapne khabardaar jo unse yahaan unke jeeju ke tarah pesh aaye toh............waise bhi in paanch saalon mein bigaad ke rakh diya hhai aapne unhe"
"arre meine kya kiya hai?" shubhankar said making a cute puppy dog face after which keerti cudnt help bt smile. She sighed seeing him. She knew she had to be strict with her interns no matter what but she was hell scared for them too. She wanted them to be perfect. She didn't want them to give her even a chance to scold them bt she considering them she knew very well tat that's almost impossible

Meanwhile in the gupta house........

Here riddhima was continuously pacing around the room and anjali was just staring at her while eating her breakfast. Finally fed up of seeing her sister roaming like mad since half an hour she said
"ridzz tu kya kar rahi hai? Aa jayega na woh. Tu naashta karle warna hum pehle hi din late ho jaayenge"
"di usse toh yahan aadhe ghante pehle hi aa jana chahiye tha na. aap jaanti ho woh kabhi late nahi aata. Infact aajkal toh aadha ghanta jaldi hi aake baith jaata hai. Aur aaj toh basket ball khelna bhi nahi aaya tha bachon ke saath.........lagta hai kuch jyaada hi naraaz hai"
"toh tu phone karle na usse" anjali said getting irritated at her little sister.
"mein kyun karun di..........kal uski galati thi mein nahi karungi...........bhaad mein jaaye woh. Ek toh galati karta hai aur upar se attitude dikhata hai" she said getting angry bt still she was corcerned bout him
"ridz galati poori tarah uski bhi nahi thi na............tu kyun usse force karti hai uske parents ke baare mein batane ko? Woh khud bata dega jab batana hoga"
"di paanch saalon se usike batane ka wait kar rahi hoon mein. Lekin usne aaj tak bataya? Nahi na. mein usse jaanti hoon di jab tak mein force nahi karungi woh nahi batayega. Aur itna toh jaanti hoon usse ki yeh keh sakon ki koi badi baat jaroor hai warna armaan apne parents se naraaz toh pehle bhi rehta tha lekin itna nahi"
"par ridz itna kisiko force karna achi baat nahi hoti hai"
"di...........woh koi aur nahi hai mera best friend hai aur mera itna toh hak banta hai na aur waise bhi jab who nikki ko saari baatein bata sakta hai toh mujhe kyun nahi?" she said getting irritated at anjali who wasn't even understanding her point
"ohhhh...........toh meri pyaari ridz isliye naraaz hai kyunki armaan ne nikki ko sab bataya aur tujhe nahi.!!! Possessive haan...............vaise accept it ridz tat u love him" anjali said teasing her
"diiiiiiii" riddhima almost shouted on hearing the last line " aap humesha aise kyun bolti hai.......mere aur armaan ke beech aisa kuch nahi hai sachi" she said it innocently
"ohhhhhh really ........." Anjali laughed aloud on seeing her sister standing there infront of her with her hands on her waist and giving her a 'shut-up-di' look.
"diii sach mere aur armaan ke beech pyaar!!!!!!!.IMPOSSIBLE........kabhi nahi" riddhima said trying to make anjali understand that there was nothing between her and armaan except friendship. This had become their daily routine since quite some time now. Anjali wud always tease riddhima and riddhima wud try to prove her wrong bt anjali wud never listen. Instead she wud put on the song "pyaar impossible" on her mobile and the very next line "it's possible hai yaar" wud irritate riddhima to no end
"diiii stop tat song ok" riddhima said giving her a daring look bt the very next moment she almost shouted
"diii hume ek ghante mein sanjeevani pohochna hai aur armaan ab tak nahi aaya............aur mein usse jaanti hoon who aayega bhi nahi........naashta bhi nahi karega aur lunch toh waise bhi kabhi theek se nahi karta" she went in the kitchen and packed some aloo ke parathe and continued "di mein armaan ke ghar jaa rahi hoon aapko deirectly sanjeevani mein hi milungi bye" saying so she kissed anjali on the cheeks and ran towards the door
"bye ridz aur haan ache se khilaana tumhare armaan ko" she said teasing riddhima
"shut up di" saying so riddhima quickly went out and anjali laughed seeing her.

Here at armaan's place he was throwing his clothes out from the cupboard. He was frustrated. He cudnt even decide what he should be wearing today and the thing was he didn't even want to decide. He didn't want to do anything. Tat is how he was feeling since he fought with riddhima yesterday. He knew he had been rude to her when she had asked him about his parents. He knew she had full right to know about whatever happened bt he wasn't ready to tell her anything at this moment. He knew he had tell her and he wanted to do that bt he wanted to tell her everything when the right time wud come. Right now he didn't even like to hear his parents name. just by their mention he wud get frustrated. He heard the doorbell ring for the fifth time and went towards the door highly irritated at the person who had dared to disturb him at this moment
He opened the door and seeing her standing there quickly turned and started going towards his room. He didn't want to get angry at riddhima right nw bt seeing the frustration he held in him he knew he wud.
Riddhima didn't wait for him to turn around. She knew he wudnt. So she went near armaan and held his hand and made him sit at the dining table. Bt this slightest touch of riddhima had created havoc in armaan's body. He didn't know why bt since the past few months the same thing was happening with him. Whenever riddhima wud hug him or hold his hand or even if riddhima's hands wud brush against his a shiver wud run down his spine. Even her slightest touch wud make him go mad. All his anger vanished when he saw riddhima serving him the breakfast. He kept looking at her bt averted his gaze when riddhima looked at him
"armaan" riddhima said slowly. Armaan looked at her wen she indicated him towards the plate he juzz pushed it a little and got up to go when riddhima again stopped him and made him sit again
"armaan chup chap naashta karlo warna aajke baad mujhse kabhi baat mat karna samjhe." She said with authority and anger both filled in her voice.
Armaan got scared on hearing her tone and quietly started eating. Riddhima wanted to smile at his innocence bt controlled herself coz she wanted to show him tat she was still angry and tat she wanted to know about his parents.
After eating the breakfast armaan got up to go and riddhima followed him. She entered his room and saw all the clothes scattered around the room. She looked at armaan in disbelief
"woh mujhe kuch samajh nahi aa raha tha isliye........."he stopped midway on seeing riddhima
"isliye tumne poora karma bikher diya." Riddhima completed the sentence and looked at armaan who had head head bowed down. She stepped inside the room picking up all the clothes lying in the way.
"armaan tum pagal ho kya humne abhi ek week pehlehi tumhara kamra ache se arrange kiya tha na. hum sab ne itni mehnat se kiya tha aur tumne phirse" she got irritated on seeing the whole room. Riddhima, anji, muskaan and nikki had arranged armaan's whole house juzz a week ago when they had come to his place for timepass bt found it upside down and here it was all their hardwork of 5 hours gne waste.
"sorry" armaan said making a cute face. He knew this always melted riddhima bt this time to his bad luck it didn't
"dnt make tat face armaan. Its not gna affect me today" riddhima said arranging his cupboard and taking out a blue and green shirt (guys armaan wears two shirts remember) and a blue jeans for him.
Armaan knew he had to apologise for his behavior. So he went near her and said
"basket m sorry mein jaanta hoon kal kuch jyaada hi bol diya"
Riddhima kept quite she wanted him to finish first. Bt wen he didn't say nething further she said
"armaan mein kal ki baat par naraaz hoon lekin abhi is waqt mujhe yeh cheej se jyaada problem ho rahi hai ki mera bestfriend mujhse apni zindagi ka ek important hissa share karne ko tayaar nahi hai. Tum mujhe sab kuch batate ho na phir uncle aunty ke baare mein kyun nahi bata rahe?" she said calmly
Armaan got angry on hearing their name again bt thn tried to stay calm and make her understand
"riddhima I promise mein tumhe bataunga. Par abhi nahi'..sahi waqt aane do tumhe sab kuch pata chal jaayega please riddhima meri ek baat maanlo" he said his eyes telling her tat he wud definitely tell her everything. So she decided to leave this topic till the time he himself doesn't decide to tell her everything.
She smiled at him which made armaan smile too
"acha ab jaldi tayaar ho jaao hume sanjevaani jaana hai" she said and giggled on seeing armaan get up with a jerk on hearing this
"shit riddhima aaj toh hum late hogaye paka.......pata nahi aaj keerti di se kaun bachayega" armaan said rushing to the bathroom leaving riddhima laughing on his scared face. She knew he was hell scared of keerti. KEERTI DI...she remembered and was scared thinking what wud happen if they reached late to the hospital today.
"shit......di.....aaj agar late hogaye toh paka di hume nahi chodegi"
