Chapter 6
THE GRAND DAY! I
At 7:00 pm
Benji,Uday,Mayank n samrat wait for all the gals in the hall
B- Kamaal hai yaar yeh log kabse tayyar ho rahi hain. Hum to ek ghante main tayyar ho gaye
U- dude ladkiyon ko in sab cheezon main time lagta hai
S- yeh bhi hai
Nupur comes downstairs
She looked beautiful, as graceful as ever.Her eyes stopped on mayank. As she approached him they held their gaze, she turned red at the intensity of his gaze. Maynk helds out his hand to her she accepts it & stands next to him
"U look beautiful" Mayank breathed in to her ears, as he did so he could smell the peach scent of her skin he noticed her blush and turn red. He wrapped his arm around her waist n pulled her closer which made her turn a complete deep shade of scarlet. mayank had not been so romantic towards her in the past few months n today he dazzled her to no limits.
Benji, Samrat n Uday tried to avert their eyes from the lovely couple,not to appear to be eavesdropping which they were in there special moment.
Gunjan n sheena came downstairs together.
Samrat looked at gunjan
"she looks beautiful"
B-"I know"
Gunjan was glowing in her dress.Her eyes had been darkened with eye pencil which brought out her deep n brown eyes beautifully,she wore high golden strapped heel.
Meanwhile sheena couldnt take her eyes off benji he looked hot in his black denim jeans and trendy silver T-shirt, he had gelled his hair to make it stand.

Yes he is the one for whom i have craved for in my life, he knows me,makes me laugh, understands me n cares just the same. He wont love my glory my fame he wud love me.
Gunjan n sheena join others in the hall.
U- "so every1 ready! i'll go and get the cars out"
S- "ya i'll come too"
Uday and Samrat exit.
"You look gorgeous" Benji says to sheena
"You dont look bad urself" Sheena said.
They all head out.
"I dont get it" Nupur mumbles to herself.
Mayank hears her "what?"
N- "Samrat aur Gunjan ne ek doosre ko dekha bhi nahin! baat tak nahin ki!"
M-oh oh "Woh umm kya hai na ki.." Kya bolon!! hann "woh u knw dost ki tarah aur yeh log to milte rehte the na.... aur samrat diya se milne ke liye excited hai to...... bhool gaya hoga?"sounds meek "mera matlab bhool gaya" Mayank blows out his breath and waits for nupur to respond.
N-"hmm ho sakta hai"
M- thnk god!
Uday n samrat bring the cars, Everyone get seated in the two cars.
Benji, Sheena, Samrat and Uday in one and Mayank, Nupur and Gunjan in the other.
B- Hey Dia and RV r comng but wat abt CJ?
Sh- She will b there too i got a call from her in the morning.
B- Thts gud
Sh- i know n m so glad that this idea worked
B- Ya i was nervous n well m ashamed abt it now, but i thought u guys must hv forgotten abt it.
Samrat- theres nothing to be ashamed abt, even we had the same thoughts
B- ya actually the day was approaching n i dint knw wat to do n then i got a call from sheena, n well here we are!
Sheena smiled.
Samrat takes a turn n parks the car outside the club.
Benji opens the door for sheena
Sh- one minute
Sheena takes out her goggles, a black scarf to cover her face
B- why so?
Sh- Its a public disco fans will go mad if they c me here, n i dont want to spend this night giving autographs to my fans"
B- hmmm lo mayank n all r here too

They all enter the disco club together.
They headed to their usual spot n found tht it was not occupied.
Samrat grins "lets go!"
They all settle on their table
U- "feels good" benji grins "ya"
Music was blaring n many ppl were dancing on the dance floor, the bar was filled n the drinks corner was crowded too.
N- This place has changed a lot
M- ya
Sh- you know at times i came here, hey u guys remember tht gal who had a crush on benji?
B- wat abt her?
Sheena laughs" she told me tht now u hv left me can i give her ur no."
Benji shocked "thnk god tumne use mera number nahin diya!"
Sheena smiles "ya i figured u wont like it, she was obsessed over u!"
"ya n hey u know na tht it was our decision i dint leave u!" Benji asked in an alert tone.
Sheena smiles "ya i remember"
The talk caused uncomfortable atmosphere around each other.
U- so wat do we do now?
Sh-now… we wait!
N- par tab tak kya karen?
S-I'll order drinks for everyone.
Samrat leaves.
Uday looks at the empty bottle in their table.
"Truth or Dare!"
B-"Kya?"
U- "Yes timepass ke liye truth or dare se achha game ho hi nahin sakta!"
M- "Arrey yeh bachchon ka khel hai "
N- "Nahin its the best! aur waise bhi ek doosre ke baare main jo baatein reh gaye hain woh aise hi pata chal jaengey...so I'll spin first!"
The bottle spins n stops at Uday.
Samrat gets seated.
"Drinks are on their way frnds! he looks at the bottle spinning! Hey Truth or dare? m in!"
The bottle stops at Uday
Nupur asks Uday mischievously her eyes glinting "so Uday Bhaiya Truth or Dare?"
"Dare!" Uday says with full confidence.
N- "hmm" Nupur looks around the disco & sees a gal sitting alone at one of the tables in a cute pink skirt n top.
"ok so Uday Bhaiya us ladki ko dekh rahe hain woh black skirt pink top wali"
Uday looks at the spot where nupur was pointing "ya shes a hot babe"
N- "hann jo bhi ho...to appko uske saath dance karna hai"
Uday interrupts "bas! easy!" Uday was abt to get up
Nupur stops him "arrey poora dare to suno"
Uday- ok ok
Nupur- aur phir bolna aapke saath dance karke bohut maza aaya behenji
Uday- kya!?
Nupur- hann aur hum sab ko sunaye dena chahiye
Benji- kya?Thappad ki goonj?
Everyone laughs
Uday- "aisa kuch nahin hoga guys! Just wait n watch."with tht he pops his collar n approaches the gal.
U- Hey!
Gal looks up- Hi
U- "If u dont mind can i join u?
Gal- "actually m waiting for my friends"
U- "ok then, for a while?"
Gal smiles "ya sure"
Uday gets seated.
U- "m Uday n u?"
Gal- "Reena"
U- "Reena! nice name"
R- "thnx"

All of them watch Uday getting seated next to the gal
N- "not bad"
B-"Nupur tum marwaegey use!"
N- "yahi to maza hai is game ka"
G- "di aapko aisa nahin karna chahiye tha"
N-"woh kyun?"
G-"hum to ise game ki tarah le rahe hain par us ladki ke baare main to sochna tha na"
N- "arrey gunjan tension mat le ,sorry bol denegy. pehle uday ki band bajte hue dekhengey"
S- "aisa kuch nahin hoga guys"
N-"kyun?"
S- "ab woh Uday se famous basketball player UD ban gaya hai"
N- "hmm well lets c ki hamare Uday aur UD main kitna difference hai"
They all turn to Uday again.
Uday was offering Reena his hand n she gladly accepted it
N- "hmm he is in phase 2"

Uday n Reena start dancing on the dance floor on a slow song
R- "so wat do u do?"
U- "m a basketball player" he spins her "in the tigers team bangalore"
R-"cool!"
Uday smirks"wat abt u?"
R- "I have just passed thru excel college"
U-"ohh even i used to study there"
" then u must hv been the most coolest dude of the college at tht time" Reena flirts
Uday grins "actually no ma frnd was"
"Then the most hottest dude for sure"Reena flirts further
Uday- right babes"
Uday sighs "m sorry"
"for wat?" Reena asks confused.
U- "this was a dare"
R- "ohh" a moment of disappointment etched her face
she smiles "who gave u the dare i wanna say thnx to her"
U- actually the dare isnt over yet
Uday spins her again n takes her closer to the table
"aapke saath dance karne main bohut maza aaya behenji"
Reena looks at Uday with hurt eyes leaves his hand n disppears among the crowd.
Nupur,Sheena, Benji gape at Uday.Samrat laughs at them.
Uday-"wat!?"
"she ..she dint say nything!?" nupur exclaimes aghast
Samrat- "I toldya!"
Uday n the rest laugh along with samrat.
Uday- but really i shouldnt have hurt her like tht
Nupur- go! say sorry
U- "i'll b back" he winks n leaves.
M- "ok now my turn to spin."
The bottle stops at sheena.
M- so sheena truth or dare?
Sh- Truth
Mayank- "hmm chalo easy sa question who was the best among all the guys u hv dated uptill now?"
Sh- "hmm tht wud b benji."
Benji looks at sheena "Really?"
Sh- "ya...ok now i will spin"
This time the bottle stops at Nupur.
B- ooooh

Sh- "so Nupur Truth or dare?" sheena asks grinning
N-sheena ko dekh ke to lag raha hai ki agar dare liya to uday jaisa dare de degey ya usse bhi bura shayad"Jo poochna hai pooch lo Truth."
Sheena grins even wider
Nupur -oh oh She picks her drink n takes a sip
Sh- so Nupur....first kiss! happened!?..how was it?
Nupur chokes on her drink & looks at sheena through streaming eyes "Kya?"
Sh- "batao batao"
N- uhh woh emm she looks at her hands.
Uday returns "Hey whose turn is it?"
Samrat-"Nupur & guess wats the question"
U- "wat?
"her first kiss" Samrat grins
Uday grins too"who asked the question?"
Samrat -"Sheena"
Uday turns to sheena "thnx"
Sh- "so nupur answer."
Nupur turned scarlet "woh" she gulps.
"bata bhi do" mayank nudges her in a teasing manner but the truth was tht he wanted to knw too. she had never answered him on being asked.
N-"mayu!" she turns deeper red
Mayank laughs "ok i'll tell"
N- "noo"
Sh- hey not done
Mayank answers before sheena could continue "1 yr back main aur nupur date pe gaye the after tht"
B-oooh
Uday whistles
Sh- "thts not fair nywayz nupur ko hi baki ka answer dena hoga! So nupur y dont u continue.how was it?"
"obvious rae" said nupur.
Sh- yes but we want to hear it from u
N- "It was good" she says softly.
Mayank puts his arm around her waist.
Everyone grins
Samrat -now i'll spin.
This time the bottle stops at Benji
Samrat- so dude truth or dare?
B-truth
S- "kya yaar sab truth le rahe hain! nywayz so ur question is ny girlfriend?"
B- yup sumi
U- kya bataya kyun nahin?
B- arrey woh poocha hi nahin to maine...
Nupur- kaun hai aur kya karti hai?
B- RJ hai meri tarah ...Gunjan ki dost bhi hai
Sheena looked all the while at Benji

Sheena's pov
I looked down shaking my head,why? I looked up firmly n put on my glasses "I'll be back from the washroom, my voice dint show the hurt i headed towards the washroom, as the tears started, I just kept walking and walking. my heart broke right there...I cried miserably once i reached the washroom.My fear had been true but this time i had no control over it for i had let my heart to myself not guarded it..i had let it take its flight in the open air..n it got snapped.Why why does this happen to me!? My cell was ringing..i wiped my tears n checked the screen it was my secretary ..hadnt i told them not to disturb me!? i refused the call n looked at myself on the face
I looked miserable.
Get a grip Sheena u r a famous actress n u cant b seen like tht!
I Quickly grabbed my purse n did a few touch-ups
I looked at the mirror again... better!.. only my eyes were a bit puffy i smiled at the mirror n looked fine atleast not as if i had cried a river
well thts for sure m a good actress.. I sighed n left to join the others.
Sh- hey whos turn is over?
N- Samrat's he chose dare n had to drink 5 glasses bitter lemon water continuously widout stopping.
Sh -oh k
Sheena was about to sit wen she notices Diya n RV
"Hey guys diya n rv are here!
B-"finally"
Everyone turns to find RV n Diya approaching them. They both looked gud together.
Diya wore a plain sweet black dress n RV was wearing black denim jeans with Royal purple T-shirt
They wish them n hug each other
S- howz u Candy?"
D- feeling gr8 at the moment..u?
S- main mast! wat abt u RV?
RV- main bhi mast!
They all get seated.
Diya sees the bottle laid vertically on the table
D- wat were u all doing?
S- Truth n Dare tumhare aur CJ ke intezaar main
D- so lets continue the game
Dia notices Uday gaping at the entrance
She looks at the entrance "OMG! is tht CJ?"
Everyone turned
"I guess so!" Sheena said shocked too
Nupur- "I cant believe it"
Mayank gulped- "neither can I"
CJ notices all of them n waves from the entrance. as she approaches them she sees their gaping expressions n laughs.
N- By god CJ tum to ek dum badal gaye!
Cj- ya now stop gaping! main abhi bhi wahi CJ hoon bas not the tomboy nymore
she turns to uday
"Uday! mere dost!"Uday comes out of his stupor, they do the special handshake. CJ hugs the rest of them n gets seated
N- cj tum to ghayab hi ho gaye!
CJ- hann yaar woh kya hai na dubai main event manager ka course kiya aur wahi join kar liya is sab main time kaise chala gaya pata hi nahin chala. Waise sheena aur uday se baat hoti rehti thi.
M-so how is dubai?
CJ- awesome place! a must visit. bas tum log ki kami rehti thi
