Sandra asked as she peered at the computer screen.
'Yup,preparin 4 LTO's presentation',Santu said,without lookin up.
Sandra:Come on,Santu...The presentation is a weeeeek away...
Santu looked up.
'Wot do u want me 2 do?'🤔
Sandra(smiles):Join me 4 a cup of coffee.
Santu frowns.
Sandra:Come on,giv ur poor fingers sum rest.
Santu looks at her finger-tips which is red & swollen from typing profusely.
Santu:Umm..ohk,u win!😊
Minutes later,Sandra & Santu r sittin in da office canteen,waitin 4 da coffee 2 arrive.Santu scans the menu on the display board.
Sandra:So,hws DM?
Santu(still lukin at the Today's Special menu):Must b fyn..
Sandra:Wot do u mean by must b fyn?😕
Santu luks at her.
Santu:Duh...I mean he must b fyn,wot else?
Sandra:Wen was da last tym u 2 had smsed each other?
Widout givin Santu a chance to answer,Sandra says:Days..... ago,huh?
Santu:Sum...3 weeks back,wen he came back frm Nasik.
Sandra:And wen was da last call?
Santu:4-5 months back.I had called him wen one of relatives had passed away.
Sandra:Gr8!I dont e1 wanna ask wen was da last tym u both met each odr...🤢
Santu:Cm on Sandy...
Sandra:No,u cm on Santu..I mean,I dunno wot 2 tell u!😡
She throws her hands up in the air.
Santu(annoyed):Hw can u expect us 2 behave lyk any odr lovey-dovey couple?He is on the sets most of da tym.He shoots from 10 in the morning till 12 or 1 at night.And u know naa how things work 4 me,I cm here at 8 am and leave at 8 pm,or smtym even 9 pm.Our schedules do not match, so how can v keep in touch daily?U tell me...
Sandra:Santu...if u guys really want 2 take dis relationship forward naa,u hav 2 find tym 4 each odr.Communication is absolutely essential in a long distance relationship,bt if u go on lyk dis den I dunno wer u r heading..
She stops wen da coffee arrives.
That night,Santu thinks about wot Sandra told her dat morning.Suddenly she feels da need 2 see DM,to talk to him...she checks the tym,its 11 pm.Thinkin dat DM must b shooting,she drops the idea of calling him.
After her presentation is done & the seminar is over,Santu decides 2 go 2 Mumbai 2 meet DM.She takes a 3 day leave from her work for da same.
During the course of da 2 hrs flight from Bangalore 2 Mumbai,thoughts of DM invade her mind.She recalls all der wonderful moments,b4 she got transferred 2 Bangalore.
Late dat night at 2 a.m.a tired DM cms back 2 his houz.He's surprised 2 c da lock open.
DM(thinks):I told mom not to exert herself n cm,bt wen does she listen 2 me?🥱
He enters the apartment & switches on the lights.
DM:Mom...Mommmm...R u awake?
Santu cms out of the bedroom,wearing the red saree he had gifted her for her birthday,lukin fresh & gorgeous.
DM cant believe wot he is seeing.
DM:Santu???😕
Santu:Surprise!😃
DM:Oh God!😲I cant believe dis...
They hug.
DM:Gosh,m seeing u after wot seemed lyk... ages!Hw r u sweetheart?
Santu:M fyn,bt u dont luk fyn..wot happened?Shooting 2 many episodes together?
DM:Kind of...2 much pressure.Anyways,so 4 hw long hav u cm?
Santu:2 and a half days more & den I'm flying back on Sunday afternoon.
DM:No!!!😒Y so soon?
Santu:Sorry,cant help it..I hav an important meeting on Monday.
DM:Leave it...
He puts his arms around her.
DM:Lets try 2 make da most of da tym v r together 😳...
He lifts her up & takes her 2 da bedroom.🤬
Over the next two days,Santu accompanies DM 2 his shootings.Dey hav lunch & dinner together in his car.Dey feed each odr & talk about der respective lives.
Den on Saturday,DM takes special permission from da director & he cms home early.Dey go 4 a movie in the evening.Den dey eat at Santu's favourite restaurant & go clubbing.Dey dance until da wee hrs. of the morning.
On Sunday afternoon,DM takes Santu 4 a lunch at Taj Land's end.Dey hold hands under the table & eat together.❤️
Later,he drops her off at the airport.Wen Santu is gettin out of the car,DM holds her hand.
Santu:Wot?
DM:Thanks a lot 4 cumin!😊
Santu:Dats ok...nw m lukin fwd 2 ur cumin 2 Bangalore.
DM:Let me see..may b durin Diwali holidays...
Santu:I'll wait 4 u..
Dey hug & Santu leaves.
As she sits 4 dinner alone dat night,Santu reminisces her wonderful short trip 2 Mumbai.😍She plans 2 gift something 2 Sandra as a thank u gesture.
Santu(thinks):Had Sandy not played Cupid,we wudve never got a chance 2 rekindle da flame of love..I must thank her!
Den she remembers smtyn which Sandra had told her...

She eats her meal & goes back 2 workin on her meeting.
