The story is not new, but hopefully, with a new touch. Its the same old story, of a guy, an extrovert, and a girl, an introvert. The guy is in love with her, or maybe, its infatuaion, or attraction, or a challenge, anything. Attraction or infatuation, becoz the girl is pretty, though she doesnt show it, challenge, becoz the girl does not fall in love with him, and love, becoz to a true person, the girl is the most beautiful human inside as well as outside. What happens when the guy tries hard to please her, does she fall for him, or does he falls and actually fails in love?

Character Sketch:
Meet Armaan Mallik, 21, the dashing young superstar of 'Divine College'. Cool, hot, sexy, suave, well, words finished but his description never ended. Great physique, extremely handsome, well, girls all around drooled over him. His million dollar smile flashing those big dimples, was a killer. A big flirt, an all rounder in college, topper academically as well, he didnt remember the number of girls he had gone around with. Actually he'd lost the count the day he had realised tht he was every girl's dream, and trust me, it wasnt recently. An over possessive brother, number one in pranks, but a good guy at heart. He hasnt ever actually hurt a girl, and has a secret, which he tries to hide from everyone, after all college reputation is at stake, but someone discovers it. He doesnt believe in relationships, nah, not parent problem. In fact his parents are the best, one cud wish for, the most loving and caring ones, but still, he hates relationships, and there's just no reason for it.
Now lets meet Riddhima Gupta, 20, the sweet, the creative, the silent girl. Brought up by her Chachu N Chachi, coz her parents had died long ago. Extremely beautiful, she hides her true self. She also doesnt believe in relationships, but she has a reason. Her childhood had been a painful one, her parents had fights constantly, with her mother being beaten finally. This had broken her trust from all relations. Finally, her parents had died in an accident, n her Chachu and Chachi took her with them. She was brought up by them with lots of love, but it cudnt fill the emptiness that had been created in her heart. She loves them a lot too, but that doesnt change anything. She wants to fulfil her mom's dream for her, which is to own a very renowned magazine of her own, becoz her mom had recognised the budding cretivity in her, and allows nothing to come in her way, not even love, if she ever falls in love that is. She too is an all rounder, but doesnt show her excellence in anything except studies, due to her very very reserved nature. She doesnt makes friends easily, and no one knows the true Riddhima, no one, she just doesnt shares her feelings with anyone, but, except, her sweet diary.
Divine College, her new college, is different experience for her (she has changed her college), she discovers the biggest secret of the most popular guy in the college, but does this guy changes her life too?
What happens in college as Armaan meets Riddhima, life changes, but does it change for both of them? Keep reading to know more.
Other Characters:
Harshvardhan Mallik: Armaan's grandfather, who loves his family a lot. The pillar of the family, he has now retired, handing over his business, the Mallik Empire, to his son.
Sumitra Mallik: Armaan's grandmother, who also loves her family a lot.
Balwinder Mallik (Billy): Armaan's dad, a very good father and a friend to Armaan, very cool parent, he is Armaan's close friend too. He handles the Mallik Empire, and hopes tht his son will one day take over his responsibility.
Ananya Mallik (Annie): Armaan's mom, she is also a very loving and caring mother. She believes it is due to her that her son is so spoilt, but she still never changes her ways.
Muskaan Mallik (20 years old): Armaan's sister and his best friend, just one year younger to him, very bubbly n talkative, she's also the popular girl of the college. Though she's the popular girl, but she's not the diva. She's popular for her mischiefs, her irregularness in studies, her friendly nature, n becoz of her brother.
Kartik Gupta: Riddhima's dad, a very aggressive person. He had separated from his family at a young age, taking his share of the property. He had extra marital affairs, which led to fights between him n his wife, n he ended beating her badly. He despised his daughter, who was an additional burden to his freedom, in short, not a family man at all.
Smriti Gupta: Riddhima's mom, a very loving and caring mom, who had instilled her daughter with just the right values. She had realised Riddhima'spassion towards writing n doing creative things, so she had spelt out her daughter's dream for her, to own a very famous magazine. She was often beaten up by her husband, due to his ill ways in life.
Riddhima's parents had died in an accident, as her father had been too drunk to drive while returning from a party. Riddhima was 13 when this incident took place.
Shashank Gupta: Riddhima's Chachu, and Kartik's younger brother. He had taken Riddhima under him when his brother n his wife had died. He is a big indrustialist, the owner of the Gupta Empire. Loves Riddhima as his own daughter, and understands tht she needs time to accept them. He knew abt his brother as well as how much Riddhima and her mom had suffered.
Padma Gupta: Riddhima's Chachi, Shashank's wife. She also loves Riddhima very much, but doesnt push her relation on Riddhima, just like Shashank. She has given Riddhima her space to adjust. She tends to Riddhima like a loving mother.
Abhimanyu Gupta (25 years old): Shashank and Padma's elder son, he too loves Riddhima like his sister, a possessive brother (only for Riddhima), she means a lot to him. He helps Shashank in business, and is a very caring and loving son, brother and husband.
Nikita Gupta (24 uears old): Abhimanyu's wife, and a very sweet and lovable daughter to the Gupta's. She helps her Abhi in family business, but is home oriented as well. She too loves and adores her sister-in-laws.
Anjali Gupta (24 years old): A doctor in Sanjeevani, she's Shashank and Padma's younger daughter. Engaged to the love of her life, she is also an ideal daughter.
The whole Gupta family loves Riddhima a lot, and care for her, they know she equally loves them, but doesnt open up due to her reserved nature as well as her past. To an outsider, Riddhima lives a life indifferent to her family, but it is not true. The Guptas are all waiting for the day when Riddhima shall open up to them, but this does not stops them from spending life normally with Riddhima, like a normal family.
Atul Joshi (24 years old): A doctor in Sanjeevani, engaged to Anjali Gupta. He knows all abt Riddhima, and knows how much the Gupta family loves Riddhima. He is Anjali's childhood friend, and hence considers Riddhima as the sister he's never had. He is the son of Dr Omi Joshi, the dean of Sanjeevani, and Dr Simran Joshi, a senior doctor in Sanjeevani.
Rahul Grewal (20 years old): A student in Divine College, in Riddhima and Muskaan's year. Other intro later.

That was the intro and the character sketch, i know it was a little long, but that was it. I cannot promise to start early, but i'll try asap.
Aimee di, i wanted to say tht i had started with a fresh concept in my mind, but somehow, posting Riddhima's family's sketch, i felt it resembled the family of Riddhima in 'Mere Apne'. I know it may seem like tht to some point, but trust me, the further story shall not be so. I wanted to apologise if anyone was hurt by this.
