Hey my dear little sister,
All the parts that I didn't comment for were awesome.
Although in the part 10, I was wondering about the precap that you gave.
But do you know how happy I am now reading this part at least regarding Armaan, he didn't kiss on his own *yipee*, I know sooner or later Ridhima will understand him.
By the way, Mallika is a b****, kamini kahin ke, how dares she kiss Armaan, can I just chock her to death?

hello friends, i think this one is a record, right? i know i am not so regular, but i am trying hard guys. its actually very difficult for me because of the net and hostel problems. neways, here's the next part, hope u all enjoy it.

Part 12

Riddhima reached the main road and hiring an auto, she reached her destination. She opened the doors of the house, and ran away crying to her room. Knowing very well that no one was home at this time of the day, she did not bother to control her loud sobs, or to shut the door as she crashed on her bed. All the things that had happened, flashed one by one before her eyes. Her coming to the new college, her meeting with Armaan, all that rivalry, new feelings for him, her falling in love, all their special touches, their eyelocks, that electric spark, their close moments, and then today's dance, all this, all those special memories were crushed as she remembered Armaan kissing Mallika. She tried umpteenth time to block that one cursed memory from her time span, but the more she avoided, the more it came back. She sat hugging her pillow, her back resting on the bed post, as she cried silently. She regretted falling in love with him, and that was all she could think about. She hated Armaan because she fell for him, because he gave her so many new feelings, not just those of love, but also of pain, and heartbreak. She was going through the same pain that she'd felt, when her mother had left her. Many a times she was angry with her mother too, but her mother didnt do it purposely, whereas Armaan, she didnt even want to think about him. She cursed herself, for falling for the wrong guy.

"Riddhu"

Nikita's soft voice clashed with her eardrums, and she raised her eyes, only to see her standing at the door. Riddhima didnt know what happened, but she saw a wave of familiarity flow across Nikita's face, and this made her get up as she went straight crashing into her, and cried out loud. Nikita was baffled for once, she hadnt expected this sudden flow of emotions from Riddhima, rather, she was expecting that Riddhima would distance her and would try to deal with the problem herself. But the sudden support that Riddhima asked for, by hugging her so tight, gave Nikita a push, to help Riddhima out of it.

Riddhima was hugging Nikita like anything, and Nikita helped her move towards the bed and settle down there. Riddhima still hadnt left her, so she ran her hand at Riddhima's back, consoling her.

"Riddhu, please chup ho ja Kiddo, please", Nikita pleaded, but it had no effect on Riddhima, so she let her cry. After a while, Riddhima stopped her sobs, and shifted back, resting against the bed. She cleared her tears, and stared in her lap, without speaking anything. This was what worried Nikita, she knew Riddhima wont spill the beans so easily, she knew she had to get around the way somehow.

"Riddhu, kyu apne andar itna kuch dabana chahti hai, ghutan nahi hoti tujhe, huh? Ek baat soch, tu jaanti hai na ki hum sab tujhse kitna pyaar karte hai. To kya tujhe is tarah se jeete dekhkar hum sab khush reh sakte hain bhala. Apne Abhi Bhai ka to soch zara, tujhe lagta hai ki hum sabko kuch pata hie nahi hai ki teri life mein kya chalta hai, par sab khabar hai humein. Rahul aur Atul se tere college ke baare mein pata chal jaata hai, suna hai Muskaan aur teri khoob banti hai. Aur itna hie nahi, Abhi bohut khush huye they ye jaankar ki tum college ke newspaper team mein ho, wo bhi itni achhi post par, itna garv mehsoos ho raha tha unhe. Keh rahe they ki kash ye baat tumne unhe aakar batayi hoti, but phir bhi unhe iska bura nahi laga. Unhe khushi thi tumhare liye. Aur kal raat to bol rahe they ki aajkal tum bohut khush rehti ho, as in kuch to alag hai tumhari smile mein. Mazaak kar rahe they ki kahi koi ladka to nahi, phir khud hie apni baat par hasne lage, bs itna bole ki tum jaanti ho tumhare liye kya sahi hai aur kya nahi"

At this, Riddhima lifted her face to look into Nikita's eyes. She had a confused and a questioning look, and Nikita got her answer in that one moment.

"To mera guess sahi tha, problem kisi ladke se hi related hai, haina?", Nikita questioned, and Riddhima again bent her face. At this, Nikita put her hand on her chin, and lifeted her face, at which Riddhima still kept her eyes down.

"Riddhu, kuch to hai, aur koi chhoti si baat nahi hai, main samajhti hoon tum nahi batana chaaho to. Par aaj main tumhe ek baat batati hoon, jise sunkar shayad tumhe apni problem itni bhi badi na lage. Maine kahi padha tha, ki

(At this, Riddhima lifted her eyes to look at Nikita, as she began her story)

It all started, jab main college mein thi. I was the snob of the college, dad mere hie college ke trustee they, so obviously i had that superiority complex in me. Waise bhi apne mom-dad ki akeli bachchi thi main, to bohut laad-pyaar se pali thi. Jo maangti, wi bolne se pehle aa jata. The teacher liked my all over performance, and given my dad's position, they ignored my reputation amongst the students. Itna sab hone ke baavajood, i was always good to my friends, i actually and genuinely cared for them, and unke liye kuch bhi karne ko tayyar thi main.
During all this, i met a guy, Rishabh. Bohut hie simple, sweet and down to earth tha wo. He belonged to a middle class family, and hit my life life like a wave of fresh air. He liked me, despite the fact ki main starting mein uske saath kafi rude thi, but wo bohut hie calm natured tha, aur suljha hua tha. Kabhi meri baat ka bura nahi maana. Dheere dheere, i liked spending time with him, and gradually, i fell for him. Those were the happiest days of my life, and i had framed so many dreams, of my life ahead with him.

Just before my birthday, i planned to tell mom-dad about him. But unhone mere liye ek alag hie surprise plan kar rakha tha. Mere liye unke kisi high profile friend ke yahaan se rishta aaya tha, and they were adamant ki meri shaadi wahi hogi, Rishabh ke baare mein kuch bhi sun ne ko wo tayaar nahi they. Maine bhi soch liya tha ki shaadi karugi to sirf Rishabh se, so main usi raat ghar se bhaag gayi. Par meri destiny mein kuch aur hie likha tha. Main Rishabh ke ghar pohunchi, to waha Rishabh ko kisi aur ladki ki baahon mein ek sundar si zindagi ke khwaab bunte dekha, jo wo meri daulat hadapkar poore karna chahta tha. I was shattered, beyond limits. I went back home, and agreed to dad'd choice for my marriage, lekin us din ke baad mere andad ki wo bubbly aur chirpy Nikki mar gayi, thanks to that cheap Rishabh. Life ki kissi bhi cheez se mujhe lagaav nahi tha. I'd stopped everything from my previous ife, bas college jaati, bina sune lectures laga ke wapis aa jati. My friends all cut away from me, kyunki ab main unke bills jo pay nahi karti thi. It really hurt Riddhu, jab aap bilkul akele ho jao, and you realise ki aapne jitne bhi rishtey banaye, wo sab fake they, jhoote they, tab aisa lagta hai ki aap andar se khokhle ho chuke ho. mera bhi yehi haal tha.

Birthday ke din meri engagement ho gayi, tumhare Abhi Bhai se. Mere liye unhi ka rishta aaya tha. Kisi cultural fest mein unhone mujhe dekha tha, aur pasand kiya tha. Maine to unhe pehli bar apni engagement ke din hie dekha. unhone pehle bhi milne ki koshish ki thi, but main taal jaati. Finally engagement ke din hamari baat hui. Maine unhe observe kiya tha is time mein, and unki har cheez mujhe Rishabh ki yaad dilati. Wahi calm nature, soft spoken, intelligent, witty, all rounder they tumhare Bhai. Meri kamzor haalat ka usne faayeda bhi uthana chaha, par pata nahi kaha se tumhare Bhai aaye, aur unhone Rishabh ko roka. Unhone Rishabh ko itna maara, ki shayad wo wahi mar jaata. Ye realisation hote hie maine unhe darr kar halke se pukara, aur wo ekdum ruk gayye. Us din ke baad main unhe chhup-chhup kar dekha karti, Anjali se unke baare mein poochha karti. Anjali mujhe bohut chidati, lekin Abhi ke baare mein sab sach sach batati. Unki achhaiyaan, unki kamzoriyaan, unka apni family ke liye pyaar, unka apne kaam ke liye dedication, aur kaise unhe mujhse us fest mein pyaar hua. Ye sab sunke main bohut khush hoti. Mujhe to darr tha ki kahi Rishabh ke baare mein jaanke Abhi rishta na tod de, par unhone kabhi Rishabh ki baat uthayi hie nahi. Par us din ke baad Abhi ne kabhi mujhe approach bhi nahi kiya. Wo mujhse jitna zaruri hota, utna hie baat karte, aur ye cheez mujhe chot pohunchaate. Sabke saamne wo bilkul normal hote, lekin akele mein, mujhse kate kate rehne lage. Is sab mein maine mehsoos kiya ki Abhi Rishabh jaise bilkul nahi hain, wo to us se kahin upar they. Aur jaise hie maine ye samjha, maine ye baat bhi samjhi ki main tumhare Bhai se pyaar kar baithi thi. Isiliye unki berukhi itna effect karti thi main.

Khair, in sab mein hamari shadi ho gayi, and sab logo ke beech maine Abhi ko haste dekha, par pata nahi kyun mujhe kuch to theek nahi laga. Raat ko jab main aur Abhi akele kamre mein mile, tab jo unhone kaha, wo sunke main shock mein aa gayi.

'Nikki, main jaanta hon ki tum mujhse pyaar nahi karti, aur ye ki tum ye shaadi apne parents ke dabaav mein kar rahi ho. Typical hindi movies ki tarah main hamare is rishtey ko dosti tak bhi limit kar sakta tha, par mera dil mujhe jhoothe rishtey banane ki ijazat nahi deta. Jhooth main bolunga, sirf apni aur tumhari family ke liye, lekin hum dono mein koi jhooth na hie ho, to behtar hai. Tum meri life mein kuch nahi ho, na main tumhari life mein kuch hoon. Good Night'

Itna kehkar Abhi couch per jaakar so gayye, mujhe akela chhodkar. Subah jab wo uthe, (at this, Nikita's speed slowed, and Riddhima saw color gathering on her face) to dekha ki main unhi par soyi hui thi. Unhe shock sa laga, aur mujhe uthakar mere waha sone ki wajah poochhi. Aur maine confess kar dia ki kaise main unse pyaar karne lagi thi. Pahle to unhone maan ne se inkaar kar dia, par ziddi to main bhi thi na, unh apne pyaar ka vishwas dila kar hie chhoda. Bas phir kya tha, unhone bhi apna secret khol dia, ki pyaar to karte hain mujhse, par apna pyaar force nahi karna chahte they, isliye kal sab aise aise bola. Ek wo din tha, aur ek aaj ka din hai, maine peeche mudkar apne past ko nahi dekha. Abhi ne mere har din ko itna khoobsurat banaya ki mujhe apne past se koi shikayat hie nahi hai, shayad maine jo galtiyaan ki, wo isliye taaki jab Abhi meri life mein aaye, tab main unki importance samajh saku. Life ne Abhi ke roop mein mujhe ek beautiful sa second chance dia Riddhu, and you know hum dono kitne khush hain", as soon as she said that, both the women's hand immediately flew to the bed, as they muttered, 'touchwood', and burst out laughing. Nikita saw that the color had returned to Riddhima's face, and she smiled at that.

"Riddhu, life second chance sabko deti hai, tumhe bhi degi, bas useh pehchan na padta hai. Tumne agar useh yu hi jaane dia, to kuch theek nahi hoga. Isliye sab kuch bhula do, and move on. I know ki kehna easy hai, and karna mushkil hai, par maine try kiya hai, impossible nahi hai. Problem chaahe kitni bhi badi ho, life se badi nahi hoti. Main tumse nahi poochhungi ki kya hua hai, but am sure ki tum samajh sakti ho ki problem ko kaise tackle karna hai", Nikita saw Riddhima nod her head slowly in understanding, and got up to leave, kissing her forehead, but stopped when she felt herself being pulled.

"Bhabhi, aapko kaise pata chala ki meri problem ka reason kya ho sakta hai?", Riddhima asked innocently. At this Nikita gave an all knowing smile, and caressed Riddhima's head.

"Jab dil toota tha na, to main bhi isi tarah aakar room mein royi thi. All the best, tum jo bhi decide karogi, sahi hie hoga", Nikita said, and Riddhima gave the understanding look. Leaving Riddhima with her thoughts, Nikita exited the room, and opened the cross that her fingers had formed all this time, and thought,

"Sorry Abhi, i just hope ki hamari shaadi kab aur kaise huyi, ye Riddhima ke saamne kabhi na aaye. I dont want her to know, ki the first time i had seen you in that college fest, i'd fallen in love, true love for me. Aur hopefully wo kabhi ye bhi nahi jaanegi ki i was mom-dad ki always obedient daughter, and ye ki tumhare yahaan rishta maine hie bhijwaya tha. Just for Riddhu's sake, i hope ye sachai uske saamne kabhi na aaye. I love you for being in my life, and making it worth living. Tum shayad sahi they, Riddhu ki hasi ki wajah koi ladka hie tha, par wahi uski is haalat ka bhi zimmewaar hai. I just hope ki mera ye jhooth useh uski life ke sach se milwa de, please God ji, sambhal lena meri Kiddo ko", with these thoughts, Nikita walked off.

"Bhabhi ki life itni complicated thi, main kabhi soch bhi nahi sakti. Par life ne unhe ek second chance dia, Abhi Bhai ke roop mein. Par mera kya hoga, main Riddhima Gupta, jisne socha tha ki main kabhi kisi ke pyaar mein nahi padungi, main ab kya karu. Kyu aaye tum meri life mein Armaan, kitna samjhaya tha maine apne dil ko, ki tumse door rahe. Bar bar khud ko warn kiya tha, ki tumhare hone ya na hone se mujhe koi farak na pade, lekin main chaah kar bhi apne is dil ko nahi manaa payi main, ho gaya na tumse pyaar. Bohut sambhala tha iseh aaj tak, par jaane tumne aake aisa kya kiya, ki sab badal gaya. Maine kuch paya, aur shayad wahi kuch zaada kho diya, kuch aisa jise main chaahkar bhi wapis nahi paa sakti, aur ye bhi nahi jaanti ki paana chahti hoon ya nahi. Kyun Armaan kyun meri zindagi ka naksha badal dia tumne, kya galti thi meri jo itni badi sazaa di tumne mujhe. Kya tumse pyaar karna itna galat tha, nahi, shayad pyaar karna hie galat tha, aur yehi galti mujhse hui hai. Ismein tumhe kyun blame karu main. Kal ek naya din hog, aur usi ke saath tum sabke liye ek surprise hoga. Armaan, main jaanti hoon ki mere dil ke liye tumhe bhula paana thoda mushkil hai, lekin main poori koshish karungi, ki tum mujhe effect na karo. Tumhari kissi bhi cheez se mujhpar koi asar na ho, ab yehi meri koshish rahegi. Lekin exactly main kya karne wali hoon, ye tum bohut jald samajh jaoge. And i really hope you like it", with these thoughts, Riddhima set to work, waiting for the day to end soon.

Armaan went back home and threw his things in exhasperation. He'd called up Riddhima, but it was switched off. He'd even called Muskaan to ask about Riddhima's whereabouts, but she said that she'd gone back home. There was no way he wanted to meet her right now. But he was dying to hear her voice once, to know if she's alright or not. He wanted to know what was she feeling right now. When he gave it a deep thought, he knew Riddhima also felt sumthing for him, or else why would she be hurt if he kissed someone else. His doubts were confirmed, Riddhima did like him, but he would've been glad, had this come out some other way rather than the way it did. Keeping aside today's events, he thought about himself and Riddhima. True he knew he felt something for her, but could he call it love, not right away atleast. He had thought he loved Mallika, but when she'd left, he got over her pretty soon. And now, after what happened today, he knew he loathed her, he was disgusted even by the thought of her. He thought, could he feel the same way about Riddhima also, someday, if ever anything like this happened. No! His heart answered for him, immediately. He could never even think about not liking Riddhima. Infact, comparing Riddhima with Mallika on the same scale was nothing but pure insult to Riddhima, and he just couldnt do it.

He suddenly realised that since the day Riddhima had come in his life, all was about her, everything revolved around her. His likes, his dislikes, his friends, his revenges, his family, Muskaan, his gang, his happiness, there was one word to describe it all, Riddhima. This one word summed up his whole life in the recent days. But this couldnt be love, could it. He'd heard about how great love was, and how complicated it made life. And though he was facing some problems right now, his life was neither great, nor complicated. His life was just purrfect, along with Riddhima. This just couldnt be love. He knew that to fall in love, there had to be so many reasons, and so many steps to be followed. The basic most, the like-hate relation, followed by friendship, which ultimately led to Love.

Yes, they had been through the hatred phase. So point one - CHECK.
They'd had their share of fights, and competitions, and challenges, against each other, and now they did like each other, he was sure of it. So point two - CHECK.
But what troubled him was that, he knew they would never be friends, they just couldnt be. As in, with the kind of chemistry they shared, friendship was a big time No No for them both. He knew they couldnt survive with a 'just friends' tag. Ok alright, he admitted he couldnt live by being just friends with Riddhima. But this was what would take them to love, and he knew he had to ge this one in 'check'. The way he was going crazy for Riddhima, he doubted if he's already in love with her, but he knew better than that.

Finally, he came to a conclusion. He concluded that as of yet, there was no love between them both, from either side, not that he would mind if it was there, but he'd have to wait for it. On the other hand, instead of denying the strong connection between both of them, he preferred to call it as something very special, and something very very strong, and he had plans to make it more stronger. For this, first of all, he will have to talk to Riddhima the first thing tomorrow. He will tell her, tha what she saw, it was all a misunderstanding. He couldnt tell her how and why exactly did things happen, obviously he couldnt make a fool of himself by telling her that he was imagining her. He'd already made such a big blunder, he didnt want to worsen things more. So with thoughts of doing everything in a simple way, Armaan set to work, when he heard a knock.

"Come in", he answered, and one of the servants entered.

"Armaan Baba! Aap jab andar aaye, to ye cd aapke pass se gir gayi thi. To main lautane aa gaya", he said.

"Achha theek hai, wahan cd player mein rakh do", Armaan answered non-chalantly. The servant did as said, and went away. Armaan sat down on his bad, with a sudden thump, and realised that he's sat on a remote. He picked up the remote, and realised, that the cd player had been switched on. He immediately heard a lot of commotion from the player, like many people talking together. After a few minutes, he heard a voice he recognised immediately.

"Ridzi, guess what has happened?"

Armaan was surprised to hear Muskaan's voice. He remembered that he'd picked up this cd from the music room. He guessed that someone had put the player on the record mode, and he was curious to listen to the conversation. He immediately moved right next to the music player, and settled on his knees, to listen clearly.

"Muskaan, nahi, this didnt happen, haina, you're lying, you cant be serious yaar. I so wont agree Muskaan, no no no...", Armaan heard Riddhima speak.

"Ridzi, the whole music department is really happy yaar, i just love you so much"

"Muski, why do you do this to me yaar, kyun meri baat nahi maanti?"

"I dont know Ridzi, i have no idea why did i do this. Its just so involuntary and instant, whenever it comes to you, i dont know what happens to me, i just dont. I know main kitna hie khudko ye excuse du ki i am the cultural incharge of the college, so i wanted the best team even for the college band, par ye sach nahi hai. You know i loved the genuine smiles these people had when you were actually accepted as their official band member, but us se zaada, i dont know, theres a part of me that just couldnt believe this had happened, that part which refuses to believe i've got such a happiness.

Ridzi, jab se tu meri life mein aayi hai, i feel so euphoric, i mean, i cant tell you how, but you complete me. The conversation ended, leaving Armaan dumbstruck. He had just had a peak of the depth of the hearts of both these girls. He couldnt believe his ears, both of them had so much stored in a tiny corner, unknown to both of them. Muskaan, he'd believed her to be nothing more than a prankster, but this one conversation had changed his mind. Muskaan was much deeper than she showed herself to be. He just realised how much she cared for him, and he felt his heart swell in pride. Riddhima, he always knew she was a mystery, a big one, but after listening to her thoughts, he felt a gush of warmth towards her. He immediately wanted to go and hug her, and tell her, that he was there for her, always and forever.

Armaan realised of the so many things that had happened in today itself, it threw light on so many things. It gave him a new point of view of all the things, and now, he only awaited for the new morning, with a hope to set everything alright.
