A very big thank you for liking the story so much!Makes me really happy!N everyone who asked me to add them to my pm list ..i just did so!
The story is said in flashbacks!The flashbacks are in orange and the present is written in green!
There is no flashback in this part though!

Armaan walked up to the emergency unit.The nurse on duty beamed at him when he approached.
He nodded coldly at her.
"Dr.Stanley said there is a new cancer patient here."
She looked at him blankly.Armaan gritted his teeth.He hated when people doodled..maybe because he never did.For him life was all about work.His family and the few friends he had called him the most obsessed workalcholic in medical history.He took that in his stride.
He couldnt argue because he couldnt explain.He couldnt explain that work was his escape-escape from pain.
"I dont have anyone registered in the cancer unit."said the nurse

"What?But John told me specifically to come here.He said the lady was just admitted."
The nurse's confused look disappeared and she nodded.
"We had a pretty lady taken up just now.I havent recieved her records as of now-"she said smiling.
"Which cabin?"he demanded.She was boring him.
"I will take you down there."She picked up her clipboard and led him to the longest corridor before stopping at a door in the left.
rmaan entered and went straight to the patient.This was the blessing of being a doctor- he could lives and the curse was knowing he couldnt.The enzyme theory he had created was causing people to recover from last stage cancer.He smiled to himself as he remembered his first patient,six year old Soni.
Curiously he remembered all the recipients of his enzyme therapy.They all had their own stories-the ones he ensured werent left incomplete.
He hoped he could complete this patient's story as well.He moved towards her wanting to know her more.
Then he stopped,his vision blurring.Cradled between tubes and white pillows was a face that was all too familiar-the face which he saw ever night-the face which taught him to love and to hate-
The face of his love and his nightmare..
"I got her sorted now.She is ..."
