She had a very planned life. She would get up early in the morning, brush, wash up, and then she would leave for jogging where she would meet suhaani and samrat. She spent an hour or so there, only for samrats satisfaction of spending some time with him since in college, they hardly ever got some time alone. And then she would come home to find her sister, nupur playing chess with her dad and mom shouting at her dad and sister to get ready for work. But well, her calls go unanswered with her chess champs.
Leaving them downstairs she would rush upstairs, take a bath, get ready and leave for college in her suit, with her cousin bro and sis who lived just across the road with her sister, who would at the end moment get into the auto with mayank, her boyfriend.
At college she would spend time with her favourite things ever, books and library, her second home, where samrat had become a regular visitor for those few minutes of talks they had, before the librarian made him leave for causing noise pollution.
Then she would rush to miss ahas class with samrat and make notes, sustaining samrats flirty looks as she usually did by ignoring them. And then again home sweet home.
But today there was something strange in the air, it didn't smell of the roses in her garden, it had a vague smell of rain water and strawberry mixed.
As she walked by the garden to the sports complex, she sniffled her nose and waited for the smell to by pass her, as she pressed her knuckles together in nervousness as she usually did before meeting samrat.
As soon as she entered the complex and got her membership id checked she spotted suhaani on the far side of the jogging track standing along waving at her, to which she waved back half-heartedly.
Where was samrat? Why was suhaani standing there all alone, that too on their 1 year anniversary?
But then she thought, maybe he was planning a suprise for her, so he hadn't come!
But then her thoughts got shot off, as she saw samrat coming back from the canteen with three pepsis in his hand, trudging one onto suhaanis hand, he ran upto her all sweaty, after his basketball practice.
'hey chashmish, have a drink, then we'll get started with our jogging!', he said as he sipped on his pepsi ever so lightly not noticing the hurt looks gunjan was trying to hide from her face.
Gunjan couldn't understand what was going on, samrat had been so excited when she had told him last month about their anniversary approaching, but now he looked like he didn't even have a clue of their anniversary, he was so chilled out, she thought, as suhaani approached them with a happy-go-lucky smile to join their jogging as she usually did.
'hi gunj!', she yelled at gunjan as she continued, 'whats up?'
'nothing suhaani! Lets umm..jog?',gunjan replied looking up at samrat expectantly when suddenly she heard someone call out to him, it was adhiraj.
Adhiraaj yelled out to samrat, 'samrat we need to practice! Get your lazy ass in here!'
'oh excuseme! I think you haven't noticed! Practice time is over!', he retorted back, with equal force.
'samrat, im the coach! And if coach says its practice time, then it means its practice time! Now get on with it, and stop wasting the teams time', adhiraj yelled at samrat, as samrat followed him with a whining expression on his face, but what shocked gunjan was he didn't turn to wave her bye as he vanished behind the tennis court.
And without another word, gunjan ran back home, tears rolling down her cheeks.

As she reached home, she found her dad and sis playing chess. She ignored them and ran upstairs to get ready, as she thought, 'samrat i hate you! You couldn't even remember our one year anniversary! Im not gonna talk to you today!'
But the funny thing was, she didn't get to put her resolution into action since it seemed she didn't require to do so, since neither did samrat come to the library to meet her, nor did he come to any of the classes.
As the time passed, gunjan got extremely scared as to the possibilities of something that might have happened to samrat.
The whole day she searched every nook and corner of the college, to no avail.
It was the end of the day, nearly everyone had left, unable to hold the lump in her throat inside any longer she ran to the huge garden in a secluded corner of the college, where she had come when samrat had gifted her red roses for the first time ever.
She kept her books on the bench and started to run into the bounds of the park she had never known, and when she found a safe secluded part away from the eyes of excel college, she lay down on the grass.
It was so tough to ignore the tears, as she break down lying on the grass her eyes closed, when she suddenly felt herself being picked up by strong arms.
Her first thought was, she was in a secluded place, and somebody was taking advantage of that.
She bountly opened her eyes, to find herself safely cradled in samrats arms as he carried her way into the place, which seemed to have become a jungle when she had closed her eyes.
She slightly started to look around, when samrat suddenly put her down.
'samrat main-', she started only to be stopped as samrat put his finger on her pink lips.
He took a black cloth from his pocket and pursed her eyes shut with it, as he guided her to a place unknown with her hands.
It was quiet a while, before samrat actually let go of her hand, which scared her to her wits since she was still blind folded, she stood there hands stretched out for samrat to take them, when she felt a beautiful ticklish feeling on her face and her hands.
As she stood there enjoying those feelings inside her, she felt the blindfold slowly being removed, allowing her to open her eyes.
She looked up and noticed a beautiful huge tree shading her as rose petals fell upon her from the branches.
Hugely surprised, and extremely touched she turned to samrat who stood hardly inches away behind her, and this proximity made her blush more than she had ever blushed before.
And as she did she felt samrat slowly walking towards her, as her steps automatically guided her backwards, but only till she felt herself crash into the tree behind her, as samrat safely placed both his hands on both the sides of the tree trunk around chashmish.
She looked down, knowing only too well what was coming, as she had noticed samrats eyes all over her pink lips, and today there was no one around to disturb him from it.
His face slowly moved towards her flushed face with an eagerness like never before, this was it, finally they would have their first ever kiss, without any interruptions.
As he moved closer to her, her hands tried to block his masculine body, only to be held behind her back by samrats strong hands, bringing her closer to him.
He slightly caressed her petal like lips with his, as he felt her heart thudding faster by the minute, and before he knew it, he pulled her into a passionate kiss as he felt her giving in more and more with passing second, trudging her lips into his.
As they finally broke apart after what felt like centuries, samrat gently took her hands in his as he whispered, 'happy anniversary chashmish.'
