"Mayank, ye koi waqt hai ghar aane ka? Kab se intezaar kar rahi hoon mein tumhara? Koi fikar hai tumhe ya nahin? " Nupur burst out as soon Mayank walked inside the house. It was 12o'clock at night and as always Mayank was late from the office. Although, he asked Nupur not to wait for me, but being Nupur it was hard to do so. So there she was, pacing down the room, waiting for her sadu husband to come so that she can give him a big lecture. But deep down in her heart, she knew that behind the fake annoyance and anger, there was extreme concern towards her husband.

As soon as hearing a long lecture, Mayank smiled to himself and sent a silent prayer to the one above for giving him such a caring and loving wife. Typical Nupur, Mayank thought to himself as walked towards her.

"Theek hai, ab itna senti hone ki koi jaroorat nahin hai. Tum fresh ho jao mein khana lagati hoon." Nupur changed the topic as she made her way towards the kitchen.

"Dramaqueen." She heard him whispered.

"Haan pucho." Mayank replied in a flat tone.

*Flashback* (continuation of the date; however I haven't included the song. Sorry )

After the dance, Mayank and Nupur sat on their respective chairs to have dinner. The new feeling of love was taking over Mayank's heart. Although, he was unaware of the attraction towards Nupur, he loved the feeling. He had this sudden urge of giving their relationship a chance. He knew that was the right thing and that's what Nupur wanted. She suffered more than enough in the past, so now the only thing that would bring happiness in her life was Mayank and his support.

"Nupur..." He tried to initiate the conversation and seeing the magical smile on Nupur's face, he was certain that what he was going to do was the right thing.

"Mayank, thank you for everything, for making me feel special. I truly appreciate this but you shouldn't have bothered. A simple dinner would be enough." Nupur was overwhelmed with everything that Mayank did to bring a smile on her face. She couldn't ask for more. This was everything she always wished for.

"You deserve all the happiness in the world, Nupur. You truly do. And thank you for coming in my life." He got up from his chair and sat down on his knees front of Nupur. Taking Nupur's hand in his, he said, "Nupur can we give a chance to our relationship, please?" He simply asked with tons of emotions flowing out in his voice. He knew this was the right thing and more of it, he wanted to do this.

"Yes." That's all she could manage before Mayank got up on his feet and hugged her with all the love and affection.

*Flashback ends*

It had been over a week since that incident but Nupur was still kind of confused about it. Well, being Nupur, it was quite predicted. On the other hand, Mayank was pretty surprised at Nupur's sudden question.

"Don't get me wrong here but I just wanted to know if you really wanted to give a chance to this relationship. I mean, kahi tum ye sab..." She couldn't finish her sentence as Mayank cut her in between.

Next morning, after feeling the warmth of her husband's arms, Nupur woke up to find her daughter Arti playing cheerfully in her coat. She smiled at the scene and thanked God for everything that He gave. She freed her body from Mayank's tight grip and walked towards her daughter.

"Oh my bachcha, good morning." She wished her little one as she kissed her pink cheeks. Arti was now 4 months old but was too clever at the age of 4 months. Nupur moved towards their bed with Arti in her arms, where Mayank was sleeping peacefully. Nupur's heart skipped a beat at the view. With his black vest and messy hair, Mayank looked adorable as ever. Keeping her emotions aside, she sat beside Mayank and kept Arti near his head to do what she is best at – pulling Mayank's hair.

"Good morning sweetheart."He wished his daughter and he sat up to take Arti in his lap. Knowingly, he ignored Nupur and busied himself in playing with Arti. Nupur was kind of shocked seeing this. She faked a cough but no use. Mayank was grinning within.

"HELLO, mein bhi yahi par hoon." She couldn' take it anymore. Such ignorance, that too from her dear husband and her darlind daughter.

"bachcha, aapne kisiki aawaaz suni." Mayank was loving it.

Nupur was about to reply him when Gunjan entered the room with a smile on her face.

"Good morning people" She greeted cheerfully.

"Bhai – Bhabhi, kya mein Arti ko walk pe leke ja sakti hoon, please? It's such a nice weather." Gunjan asked in politeful manner. Mayank nodded positively while Nupur smiled giving her permission.

After Gunjan went away with Arti, Nupur got up from the bed and gave evils to Mayank who was smirking. Nupur ignored the smirk and was about walk away from their when Mayank forcefully held her from her wrist and she ended up falling on top of him.

Awwwww! Zo! Thank you so much for the dedication....you didnt have to do that! I told you theres no owing thing between friends! Anyways you've left me with awe! Thank you!

I actually read that in the bus, early morning at 7:30,
and I was grinning all the way, people were actually looking at me...
how embarrassing... but I just couldnt help reading anytime anywhere...
and the whole day in college too I was grinning like a complete idiot. 😆

This ff was totally different, simply outstanding👏
It was really interesting, all the events were simply fabulous!!!
Nupur's past, Mayur marriage....perfect!
I totally loved it..
