Epilogue:
A day after Samrat proposing to Gunjan his mom arrives; the whole gang accompanies Sam & Suhaani to the airport to receive their mom.
As the check out formalities for an international flight takes time usually so did it here too, in this time Uday gets hungry & goes with Benji to a nearby airport caf to eat as usual.
Once they reach there Uday orders a couple of soft drinks, fries, donuts & sandwiches, as they look at the bill Uday & benji's eyes pop out, in 5 minutes they spent 2500 bucks on only fast food the caf was quite expensive as it was in the airport premises, Benji had only 500 with him & Uday a 1000, so they call Sam on his cell to bail 'em out , Mayank was busy with the parking meanwhile so Sam leaves the gals to go to the caf knowing their mom will notice Suhaani if not anything else.
After 10 minutes all d guys join in & proceed towards the gals, they see Suhaani yelling & waving frantically calling mom to a middle aged lady, she smiles & waves back( guys here I have imagined Padma i.e. riddhima 's mom from DMG as SS' mom)
The lady is dressed in a classy Salwar kurta wearing a simple pearl necklace & earrings with a watch with a huge dial on her hand & a bracelet in the other, she' kept her hair open & even at her age looks quite young & lovely.
The guys are now beside the gals & stand in a line, she walks towards the gang, Suhaani runs & hugs her mom & she too hugs her back
Su: missed u mom
S's mom: missed u too sweetheart kaisi ho beta?
Su: main think hoon mom chalo bahi se milo aur baki sab se bhi
They walk towards the gang as Suhaani now takes care of the luggage
Su: guys' milo meri mom se Ms. Anjali Kapoor aur mom yeh hai mere aur bahi ke friends
Gang just smiles & nods , An sees the guys & is kinda lost for a sec as all of em are smiling, none moving ahead , 4 boys any of whom could be her son, her Samrat, who stood there, they are standing in a line & she smiles at the gals & moves towards the guys.
She looks at Benji who has a huge grin, & smiles stops for a sec but moves ahead as Uday holds a lot of packets & is smiling widely at her she smiles back next are SaYank, she sees a almost physically present mentally absent Samrat who's recollecting his mom as a child & sees how she sill looks as young as beautiful as ever, just as he remembered her, not having changed a bit & a composed Mayank who's smiling as well , she looks confused at 'em as near uday & Benji she felt easy but now she was restless & she knew 1 of 'em is her son but who ? After 10 years she has no clue how Sam looks & Suhaani hadn't sent a pic of him as well.
But after a sec she just looks at their eyes & knows her answer, she moves towards Sam , whose quiet yet his eyes seem to be saying all that he cant put in words , they are shining & as innocent as ever as when he was a child, she knew it was him, slowly she stood face to face with her only son her first child after 10 years, after what seemed like an eternity , she slowly with a shaky hand inches forward to touch his cheek, Sam just is looking at her not believing it is happening at last, his mom is here like she cant.
Finally she touches his cheek & at d same sec a tear rolls down her cheek, she slowly whispers his name in a voice that's cracking as she's crying: S…s….Saa….Samrat
He hugs his mom as tightly as he could knowing she's here with him now forever, & calls her: Mom
A moment that took 10 years to happen was all blurry as she was in tears now as she heard him call her & hugged him tightly; Sam too was moist eyed, as was Su & Gunjan & almost everyone who knew what this moment was.
Now they let go off each other after quite a while & Sam finally smiles & looks back at the gang: Suhaani tune bhi mom ko aise sab se milwaya thik se milana chahiye na
Mom ise miliye, yeh hai Mayank, Uday, Benji, dia, Nupur aur yeh … yeh hai Gunjan mom
All of em as per turns smiled & said hi aunty only Gunjan who was dressed in the salwar suit Sam gifted her said: namaste aunty
While she had greeted everyone with a hi too she was surprised at the namaste from a visibly elated, nervous & shy Gunjan
She went towards Gunjan: namaste beta, wah itne saalo baad kissi ne namaste ke saath greet kiya hai ab sach main lagta hai ki main India aa gayi hoon, she smiled & Sam was too happy to see his mom liking Gunjan already, Suhaani pokes Sam at his waist & winks as she smiles, Sam just gives her a look keep quiet will u
AN: gunjan naam bataya na Samrat ne tumhara
G: ji aunty
Su: ha mom yeh gunjan hai, Su says this as she goes to G & holds her shoulders, while G gets more shy & nervous at her tone & looks at her
Su: mom yeh…
SG are almost like what is she doing just then su retreats & then says: gunjan, Nupur ki chhoti behen hai aur diya aur uday bhaiyya ki cousin

N& D: ji aunty
An : itna darr kyun rahi ho beta , darro mat main marti nahi
This makes g laugh & d others they now knew where Sam got his sense of humor from
As G smiled An places a hand on G's cheek & says: dekha that's better haste hue bahut pyari lagti ho
Sam was elated & Gunji blushed harder seeing his hapy face & d look on the gang's faces
They proceeded home & settled as the gang enjoyed a dinner esp An who was bowled over by Gunjan' culinary skills as she had prepared the food while Nupur & Suhaani teased her as they helped: ke Saasu maa ko patane ka poora plan taiyar hai
3 weeks passed & An found the gang to be really nice, she was happy her son had made such lovely friends as it worried her like hell what must Sam have been doing for so long, what if he falls in bad company, develops dangerous & wrong habits like drugs , but now she was at ease , after all Sam was alone & all this was possible too but she was glad her son had kept his ways right
she liked em all so after3 weeks she invited em all over to her place even Shilpa aunty who had got her transfer to Mumbai just last week with a raise & promotion & mayu joined excel back, she made this a reason 4 d party, where on meeting Shilpa aunty she was overjoyed, turned out they were college friends & had lost touch over d years.
D gang esp SaYank were rather shocked on knowing their moms were college buds too.
As d party was on in full swing everyone was enjoying: MN danced, so did UD & Benji asked Shilpa aunty 4 a dance & later Sam went to his mom & bowed in front of her: may I have d pleasure of having a dance with u gorgeous ?
All of em smiled as his mom just slightly surprised hits him on d cheek first & then they dance on d first very song his mom had taught him Sam how to dance on In d song Mayu & his mom too had joined in & s d dance ended everyone clapped.
After that SG MN DU & BSu danced while Shilpa aunty had to attend a call from her office & An excused herself. After a while too when Shilpa aunty left owing to d call, Sam noticed his mom wasn't still back, so he took a break & went looking for her.
He noticed he sitting in d lawn looking at d stars & smiling, coming beside her he touched her shoulder & asked: mom aap yaha kya kar rahi hai? Party andar chal rahi hai aapki tabiyat thik hai na? Koi problem toh nahi? Mom kuch boliye kya hua
An smiled: bas baba bas bolne to de 1 saath itne sawal karega to main kaise bolungi
S smiled sheepishly An just patted his cheek: mera beta itni care karta hai meri & Sam put his hand around her waist: of course agar kissi ki mom itni beautiful ho to bete ko care karni hi padti hai
An: besharam maa se aise bolta hai
S just grinned
An :main thik hoon bus socha tum bachhe enjoy kar rahe ho to disturb na karoo isliye yaha aa gayi
S: c'mon mom isme disturb karnewali kaunsi baat hai ? waise bhi mujhe aapke saath aur 1 dance karna hai chaliye
An: achha … mere saath… dance?
S: ha kyun any problems?
An: mujhe to nahi par phir…ummm…
S: phir kya?
An: phir gunjan ke saath kaun dance karega? Looking at him with that typical mom look
S: gunjan? Ahh mein Chashmish ke saath badme … mera matlab hai ki gunjan... thoda time wait karne main she won't mind
An : achha ? aur ye kya tu usse chidha raha hai
S: mom main usse chidha nahi raha bas aise hi bulata hoon

An: aur ye ki kis naam se usse bulata hai yeh toh bata diya ab baaki sab kab kahega ?
Twitching her eyebrows

An just smiles & holds his ear : Samrat ….
S: aoww … mom what ?
An: gunjan bahut achhi ladki hai … mujhe pasand hai … mera matlab teri pasand mujhe pasand hai

An: tujhe kya laga beta I won't get it sunny boy moms just know it ok
Now blushing kinda but holds his mom in a tight hug from d back & keeping his chin on her shoulder with a smile: sorry mom actually mujhe pata nahi tha kaise bolu aur phir laga ki aake hi kaha meri GF hai & I m in love toh kahi aap behosh na ho jaaye ?
An( kinda shocked making her eyes pop out ) ; kya & hits his arm
Both laugh & Sam kisses his mom's cheek : love u mom
An: achha .. achha ab bahut butter karne liya apni mom ko ab apni Chashmish ko toh bula
S: bulao ? kyun ?
An: sawal mat kar Samrat bas sun
S turns ard to call gunjan but sees d whole gang standing there & finds out they heard everything from d looks on their faces esp a blushing gunjan who's looking down as nups has held her shoulder
An was abt 2 speak when see 2 sees 'em she smiles at Sam& then calls gunjan & extends her hand
An: ya aao beta
Gunji blushing & looking down comes ahead as d rest watch
An: hmm … so tumhe mera ye pagla beta pasand hai
G : ji ?? .. slowly & surprised
An: pasand hai ?
G: nahi (a bit fast & scared)
An: nahi pasand?
G: nahi aunty
An; nahi pasand
S: kya Chashmish main tumhe pasand nahi ?
G: nahi Samrat aisa nahi
An: toh Samrat tumhe pasand hai?
G: ha aunty (a bit fast) & then flushed red
All are now laughing as gunji is goofing up esp Sam & his mom
An holds her hand & then says: pasand hai... Toh aunty nahi … mom bolo beta & holds her face up by holding her chin
Gunji smiles shyly : ji mom
An hugs her & then takes out a small necklace from her hand & puts it in gunji's neck
G: ye kya mom ?
An: shhh.. sawal nahi karte mom se ..
G: par ..
An: ye maine Samrat ki patni ke liye h banaya tha so ab mujhe meri bahu ko dena hi chahiye na
Gunji again smiles looking down
An: thx beta
G: ji .. thx to mujhe bolna chahiye na to aap kyun
An : mere in dono shaitono ko sambhalene ki responsibility ab tum jo le rahi ho isliye
