Alisha and Sanjana were about to leave but just then, there was a loud commotion. Mahi and Jenny ran inside. Alisha wondered what the whole noise was for and peeped. They heard some voices.

Armaan:What's going on Raj?

Raj:I seriously got no idea..Aren't those your's and Bharti's pics??

Armaan:What the...Mera aur Bharti ka affair??(gasped in shock) Who the hell did this?

Vinita:Armaan..you're having an affair with a married girl like Bharti??Disgusting!!

Vinita:Waise you're not to be blamed..Bharti's such a..

Armaan:Before you hear anything from my mouth,just leave..(took the photographs from Raj's hand and left from there)

Alisha and Sanjana quickly left from there and headed to get some food and toys for Naina.

Armaan was very much furious and he threw the photographs on the floor. Just then Jiya came with Raj. She noticed the photographs on the floor and picked them up.

Jiya:Armaan,you ok?

Armaan:What do you think?

Jiya:Ok dude just relax...Just ignore these pics yaar..

Armaan:What??You want me to relax??For the past 4 years..I've been having a clean image and reputation here and now,just look at this...I'm having an affair with Bharti..

Raj:Actually,Armaan is mein problem kya hai??

Armaan:Waise,where is she by the way?I will want to see how she reacts to this..

Jiya:Oh actually she told Mahi that she won't be able to come due to personal reasons..

Armaan:I wonder what they could be..

Raj:Why are you in such a terrible mood?

Armaan:That's because firstly I get to know from Payal that Bharti isn't ready for anything..Bharti isn't being open with me and yesterday all of a sudden Bharti told me that I ought to forget her after all that had happened..And now this crazy rumour which is being spread..

Jiya:Ok ok just chill..Think coolly about it later,right now Sunny is looking for you...

Jiya and Raj were quite taken aback by what Armaan had said,for they had been thinking that things were going smooth between Armaan and Bharti.

Jiya:This is really awful,na..

Raj:Yeah, didn't expect things to spark off this way..Waise when's your date?

Jiya:Date??(paused for a while)Ohh..tomorrow..

Raj:So you're really going?

Jiya:Raj,should I go?

Raj:Well,according to me, I seriously think that you shouldn't go..And if you were to ask me yesterday,I might have said this to you in an angrier tone..But i'm no one to decide..I was only kidding and teasing you about you being a loner and a bore just like that...I had the slightest clue that you would be really hurt..

Jiya:Sach kahoo Raj..You're right!!I'm this plain Jane type si ladki and perhaps that's why no one wants to ask me out on a date but you know something..I'm not desperate!!It's not as if I'm going to die if no one ever dated me..

Raj:I think maybe you should give it a try..experience the world of dating!!(smiled at her)Utlimately,it's your decision whether or not you wish to go..You coming with me??

Jiya:You go on first;I'll be right back..

Jiya called up Siddharth and told himt hat she wasn't free for Friday night and she hung up before he could set another date for the meet-up. Jiya smiled and turned to go.

Meanwhile, Ms Graham appeared at Bharti's place to see Bharti feeding Naina. Alisha and Sanjana told her of how Bharti met Naina yesterday. Bharti called for Alisha to help wash Naina's mouth.

Ms Graham:Bharti,I'm happy that you've brought Naina here..

Bharti:Ma'm,I didn't feel like leaving her alone..She had held on to my jeans and i couldn't stop myself..but rihgt now we need to find out about her parents..

Ms Graham:Not to worry...I've been trying to find out from the nurses too..Did she have anything with her?

Bharti:Yes,it is her family photogrpah,i guess..but it wasn't too clear..And the edges were damaged too..Here it is..

Ms Graham:Alirght...I'll be right back;I'll try to..Just hold on,Bhrti would you like to come with me?

Bharti:Yeah..Alisha and Sanjana's here to take care of naina...

Ms Graham:Alisha,Sanjana..Divert Naina's attention to somewhere else..We'll be right back!!

Ms Graham and Bharti headed to the spot of the bomb blast. Bharti just kept thinking of Naina and how she had held on to Bharti last evening.

Ms Graham:Are yuo ok Bharti?

Bharti:Ma'm..if we don't find her parents or get to know anything about her relatives, can I bring her up??Can she be with me?

Ms Graham:Bharti,what happened?

Bharti:Ma'm..She held on to me for some unknown reason,as if she saw a ray of hope..She saw me as her protector..I can't leave her alone just like that..I mean i might have just seen her yesterday but her innocence in her eyes just couldn't stop me..Maybe her mum is still alive but if Naina has no one,can I?

Ms Graham:Bharti, I'm really,really proud of you dear...There will be lots of formalities for that if she has no one...Let's see,ok?Don't worry!!Come..

Ms Graham showed the photograph to the nurses and one of them recognized Naina's mother and brought them to her. The nurse informed them that she's in a critical condition and they can't talk to her for a long time. Bharti saw Naina's mom and Ms Graham introduced herself and Bharti and explained about Naina being in Bharti's home. Ms Graham enquired about her family and relatives. Bharti got to know that Naina's dad passed away 2 years back and that Naina is her only child. Ms Graham got to know of a brother of Anjali,Naina's mum as the only relative who's staying in touch with them. Ms Graham hesitantly told of Bharti's wish to raise Naina and Naina's mum is more than grateful to them both for Naina and agreed, the nurse being the witness to the words of Anjali,who was very much fragile.

Bharti sat beside Naina's mum and smiled at her, consoling her that everything will be alright. She held Bharti's hand and pressed firmly, thanking Bharti for her help and she told Bharti that now she can close her eyes peacefully for she felt that her Naina was in safe hands. By the time Ms Graham came,Bharti was weeping silently for Naina's mum had passed away. Ms Graham stood behind Bharti and rubbed her hand against Bharti's shoulder blade and Bharti hugged her.

Ms Graham:It's ok Bharti..Come!!Stop crying..Look,i've actually called Anjali's brother here..The nurse told him everything and he'll be here anytime..

Bharti:Why Naina?She's just started to see the world..her world..I mean..(looked at Ms Graham with her welled-up eyes)Why her??

Ms Graham:The cruel game of life to which no one has answers to..You head home first..I'll meet you in a few hour's time..

Bharti met Naina's uncle outside and soon, she left from there. Ms Graham explained the situation to him and realized that he was just there for a week and he'll return to Bangalore, where he stayed with his wife and kids. He felt that he was not in a situation to bring Naina with him and Ms Graham understood him and asked him about his opinion in allowing Bharti to raise Naina. He was quite hesitant initially but Ms Graham promised him that Bharti's a highly responsible girl and she'll take good care of Naina and eventually he agreed to state his approval in stamp paper.

Alisha made Naina sleep with some lullabies. Sanjana tried to cheer Bharti up but to no avail. In the evening, Ms Graham came with Naina's unvle and showed Bharti the stamp paper that he has agreed to allow Bharti to raise Naina. The only condition that he had laid was that he wanted Bharti to treat Naina as her own child and to inform him of Naina's progress every now and then. Alisha and Sanjana stood behind and at Bharti's side. Both of them were extremely elated for Bharti and hugged her from the right and left. Their eyes were welled up for they were so happy for their dearest friend. Naina's uncle left from there,giving Bharti his address in Bangalore and also his email address and Ms Graham thanked him for him support. She went to Bharit and patted her head,smiling at her.

Ms Graham briefed the girls on their social awareness projects due in the last week of July and left fromt here. Alisha and Sanjana too left from there.Bharti called up Payal and waited for her to pick up the phone.

Payal:Hello..

Bharti:Hey Payal..

Payal:Bharti?(yawns)Heyy..Sorry yaar par itni raat ko phone kar rahi ho?Any probs?

Bharti:Actually..

Payal:Kyaa?

Bharti:You think you can come here?

Payal:Ab kya hua?

Bharti:Well I've got huge news for you..Par phone par nahin bata sakthi..

Payal:Arre bol na Bharti..I'm really lazy!!

Bharti:I've got extra responsibilities now..

Payal:Look who's talking about responsibilites..(paused for a few seconds)..What??

Bharti:Catch the hint yaar..

Payal:Look, I'm dead tired,alright?You either tell me straight or I'll hang up..

Bharti:Ok, I'm a mum now..Happy?

Payal:Mum..(yawns)Wow..Great for you..Mum(pauses and realized what Bharti just said and hit her head real hard)Mum??Did you just say Mum???

Bharti:Yes I so did..

Payal:What??Ok you know what...Just wait,I'm coming over!!(hung up)

While driving, Payal was lost in her thoughts.

"Bharti's a mum??How is that even possible..wait,she's pregnant??That totally makes no freakin'sense at all for firstly she hasn't even accpeted her love and it's pretty obvious that she and Armaan..Nah it's impossible!!She must have definitely lied to me to get me up from the sofa to go and meet her. Bharti can be so manipulative at times!!"
