Strike of Nature
"Why don't you give her flowers....girls love flowers!" Jiggy snatched the flowers from Tamana's hand and handed it to Yuvi.
"JIGGY!!! That's my puppy gayab's flowers....go steal someone else's!" Sid snatched the flowers from Yuvi's hand and gave it back to Tamana.
"Guys, stop this pass the parcel game and tell me how to get Naina back!" Yuvi sat down on the bench in frustration.
The whole gang including Atul were in the locker room trying to "help" Yuvi, but so far they had done anything but help. Naina had stopped speaking to Yuvi, when she found about him using her, she didn't even bother to hear that he had stopped using her a long time back. He opened up to her in hope of clearing his consciousness but instead had managed to clear his love life away.
The others noticed Naina's weird behaviour around Yuvi and Yuvi's pleading looks, they were quick to guess that those had broken up. Though, there were still unaware of the reason behind the break up. Despite asking numerous times, both Yuvi and Naina refused to spill the reason. Finally, Yuvi dropped his shield but only to ask them for help, he still didn't tell them the truth.
"Why don't you take phlowerji on a long drive, bade bhaiyya?" JP acted out driving a car with Jiggy acting as Naina.
"Stop giving the poor guy all these silly advices, Yuvi do as I say and Naina will come around soon!" Atul whispered his plan in Yuvi's ear, whose eyes literally lit up (or so Sid thought), when he heard the plan.
Next Day
"Bade bhaiyya, is Sonali really pretty?" JP tried to look interested but couldn't help smiling broadly
"She is not just pretty! You do know JP that I don't date just pretty girls, my girfriends are always the most beautiful!" Yuvi gave his trade mark smirk when he noticed Naina eavesdropping on their conversation with an annoyed (but jealous) look.
Naina came out of her hiding after the duo walked away still discussion about "Sonali". She saw Jiggy at the reception desk, pretending to make a phone call (but she didn't know that of course).
"Jiggy, what are you doing with that phone?" Naina takes the phone from Jiggy's hand and slams the reciever on the holder.
"Well, I was talking on it but looks like I am not anymore!" Jiggy fixed his glasses and gave Naina an annoyed look.
"Shut up Jiggy!! This dufford...who is this new girl in this dufford's life? We have to find out!" Naina stared at the direction from which Yuvi just left as she stared that.
"Um...Naina why do we have to find that out? I mean you two broke up, remember? And you didn't even forgive him when he literally begged you to in front of all us. You know that was really out of his character!", Jiggy pretended to be angry at Naina, but quickly looked down when he saw Naina glaring at him.
"Jiggy, you have no idea what has gone between me and Yuvi...so just don't talk about that! I...I just want to know! Not because I want him back or anything but because I am just curious by nature!" Naina walked away in anger.
The rest of the gang came out of their hiding space and looked at each other, first with a sad expression, which was quickly turned into a happy faces.
"Well....what do we next?" Jiggy asked in an excited voice
"Now, you have to do as Naina says!" Sid put his arms around Jiggy's shoulders
"Wait....why me? Did you see how angry she was? She is going to make a dokhla out of me!" Jiggy looked like he was about to cry
"Jiggy....please...please do this for me!! Have I ever asked you anything, and said please? I don't even talk to you nicely, this is the first time I am doing so...please help me!" Yuvi gave a very Sid like look to Jiggy, which surprised everyone but Jiggy who looked like he had fallen for the trick.
Next Day
"Did you find out who this Sonali is, Jiggy?" Naina barged into Jiggy's room in the chawl
"Naina...can't you knock before you enter?" Jiggy tried to cover himself since he was only in his shorts
"Shut up, Jiggy!! Put some clothes on and tell me everything!" Naina turned around in frustration as she waited for him to get dressed.
"Fine...I am dressed now!" Naina turned around to see a fully dressed Jiggy
"Now, tell me what you know!" Naina sat down on the edge of the bed and looked at him intently
"Okay...well...Sonali is...she is Yuvi's new...um...girlfriend....who...um...is an engineer and she is his old college friend!" Jiggy managed to say despite being stared at by Naina.
"Girlfriend? How can he have a new girlfriend? What...um...what else do you know?" Jiggy noticed unshed tears in Naina's eyes.
"Um...Naina...he loves y...heisgoingtoseehertodayatSanjeevani!" Jiggy spoke what he was supposed to according to the script.
"What are you saying, Jiggy?" she looked at him with a frustrated look
"Um...he is going to see her today at Sanjeevani!" Jiggy spoke slowly but with fearful voice
"What???" Naina jumped off the bed and left the house in a hurry.
At Sanjeevani
"She is here!!! Everyone get back to your positions now!" Atul yelled at the several peeking Toms looking out of the entrance door...acting as look outs for Naina.
Naina enters Sanjeevani
"What is Dr. Yuvraaj upto? I mean he has the whole terrace decocrated for his new girlfriend...can you believe it?" Nurse Shona said to the Wardboy standing beside her
Naina's anger reached the top level as she speed walked toward the door leading to the terrace.
"Naina, where are you going? You shouldn't go up there!" Tamana gave a sympathetic look to Naina
"Tamana, get out of my way! I need to speak to him, right now!" Naina almost pushed Tamana out of her way as she tried to get through the door.
"Why beautiful? I mean he is your ex. remember?" Sid came and stood beside Tamana
"Sid please!" Naina's eyes started to get watery as she tried to push Sid away.
When Sid noticed the teary eyes, he immediately moved out of the way...forgetting that he wasn't suppose to yet.
Naina climbed up the stairs slowly...all her courage was slowly draining and she was in no mood to fight with Yuvi. She wanted him...did she want him? She wasn't angry at him anymore, at least for what he did with her, because she knew that he had to do it. He had told her numerous times that he lived for his brother but she failed to take the hint. He had a good reason, right?
She slowly opened the door but was shocked to see that the terrace wasn't decorated...and neither was Yuvi nor his so-called new girlfriend there. Instead all she saw was an empty terrace....it looked the same way as it did when she first came to Sanjeevani. No soul in site...so she decided to do what she had done before.
"Hey, Mumbai!!! Remember me? Doctor Naina Mehta...okay fine Intern Doctor Naina Mehta! Well, I came here to become the first lady doctor of my town but what am I doing? What have I done?" Naina didn't realize that as she yelled to the city, she almost walked over the edge.
"Do you have a death wish?" Naina recognized the same tone and voice that she heard the first day at Sanjeevani.
"Yu...vi!!!" Naina looked up at the smiling face of her...her ex.
"Hey! What are you doing here?" Yuvi smirked at Naina as he set her up right.
"Um...I didn't come here to spy on you and your girlfriend...I mean I don't know anything...I mean..." Naina struggeled to find the right excuse or rather words to satisfy Yuvi.
"Naina...I lied to you again! But I had to! There was no other way you would talk to me...I am so...sorry", this was the first time Naina heard him say sorry to her genuinely, though she wasn't sure about why he was apologizing.
"Wh...oh Krishna!! You mean this was all a set up! How could they all do this to me?" Naina was so angry that she couldn't even stand, though lucky for her Yuvi was there to hold on to her.
"Naina...it is not their fault!! I am really sorry! I am sorry for everything! Naina please here me out!! Today, I want to tell you the whole truth!" Yuvi grabbed Naina's arm tightly as she tried to walk past him and confront the others.
"What Yuvi? What more can you say?" Naina looked at Yuvi intently but didn't make any move to leave anymore.
"Naina...Naina....I did use you but only for a little while...I stopped...I fought against my desire for justice and stopped using you immediately. Naina I never meant to hurt you...I swear! I...I love you Naina!" Yuvi finally said what Naina was waiting forever to hear.
When Yuvi attempted to explain further....Naina stopped him...she knew that they had their whole life to explain to each other the reason but for now...his confession was enough. She finally got what she wanted....she had forgiven him long time ago...she just needed to know what he felt about her. When Naina stopped Yuvi was speaking anything further....he was sure that she was angry at him, but he was beyond surprised when she did what she did. She hugged him....instead of yelling at him...accusing him...she hugged him and the for the first time since they had met...he hugged her back.
