If you aren't careful you lose the one you love, forever.
One Night @ Excel is the story of six people working at the call center Excel. They have been working together for about four years now and are thick friends.
But one night everything changes. The calls run low, all of their personal life is in crisis, and they come face-to-face with death. Then they get a call.
The call is from God.
Are you ready to take the call?
Characters
1. Mayank Sharma
Age: 27
Occupation: Almost team leader in Excel; call center agent.
Hobbies: Thinking about Nupur, dreaming about Nupur, calling himself a failure, talking to Samrat.
Problem: Break-up with Nupur, boss ruling him.
Bio: Mayank Sharma, 27, is a quiet, introvert guy. He was and is still madly and crazily in love with Nupur Bhushan. He is very depressed due to their break-up and wants to get her back. He lets everyone trample over his life.
2. Nupur Bhushan
Age: 26
Occupation: Call center agent, BEd student.
Hobbies: Talking, talking, talking, standing up for women.
Problem: Can't figure out feelings about Mayank, mother forcing her to get married.
Bio: Nupur Bhushan, 26, is a bubbly, talkative girl who can light up a somber environment. She used to be in love with Mayank and post break-up can't figure out her feelings for him. She is forced by her mother to get married to a nice NRI.
3.Samrat Shergill
Age: 26
Occupation: Call center agent, ex-journalist.
Hobbies: Bashing politicians, bashing Americans, flirting with girls.
Problem: His love Gunjan not noticing him, parents fighting all the time, racists.
Bio: Samrat Shergill, 26, is Mayank's closest friend. He is a compulsive flirt come friendly person. He seems like a casanova, but his heart belongs to one Gunjan. Gunjan doesn't want a relationship. His parents are always fighting, making things worse.
4. Gunjan Kapoor
Age: 24
Occupation: Call center agent, model.
Hobbies: Modelling, giving advice, dressing up.
Problem: Not getting any modelling assignments, can't figure out what to do about her feelings about Samrat.
Bio: Gunjan Kapoor, 24, is an aspiring model and call center agent. She is Nupur's best friend and cousin. Her life is in a crisis and upon that can't figure out whether she loves Samrat or not.
5. Rajshree Thakur
Age: 25
Occupation: Call center agent and housewife
Hobbies: Tending to her mother-in-law, working, planning for the future.
Problem: Torturing, mean, mother-in-law, unfaithful husband.
Bio: Rajshree Thakur, 25, is a housewife, daughter-in-law and wife. Her mother-in-law always complains about her lack of interest and how she is "trying to kill her". She finds solace in working and swallowing pills.
6. Omkar Nath
Age: 63
Occupation: Call center agent, ex-military officer.
Hobbies: Scorning on all the talks done by our young five.
Problem: Thwarted by son and daughter-in-law, not being able to meet grandson.
Bio: Omkar Nath, 63, is a grandfather and an ex-military officer. His son and daughter-in-law moved to the UK without telling him and wont let him keep in touch with his grandson. He doesn't like all what these young agents talk about and keeps to himself.
That's the main characters. The supporting characters will be introduced later into the story. I will update soon, but I have my exams. The plot is in the beginning.
