The prom night'

Riddhima was getting ready in her room 'she was wearing a light lavender colored dress which was just below her knee, it had a ribbon around the waist, it perfectly complimented her slim body 'she had tied her hair and was wearing a sweet heart shaped silver pendent.....she was looking like an angel'just perfect'
Now she was sitting in the drawing room waiting for armaan chatting with her dad just then her mom came in'

Padma (tensed) : are you sure u want to go to the party,,,,
Riddhima: ma????????? Why are you so tensed I am not a baby..please relax
Padma: ok acha tumne sab rakh liya ???
Riddhima: (assuring her mum) haan ma ..sab rakh liya ..inhaler ..medicines..mobile ..doctor ka number... sab kuch..
Padma: anjali kab aa rahi hain??
Riddhima: anjie kyun ayegi????? (Confused)
Padma: tumhe pick kaun karega??
Shashank started giggling
Riddhima : (crying) maa.. anjie nahi ayegi mujhe armaan pick karega woh mera prom date hain so he will come and pick me up ..bas aata hi hoga ..5-10 minute main
Padma: (worried and shocked) toh anjie kahan hain '.tumhara khayal kaun rakhega party main???????
Riddhima had given up 'her mother was little extra possessive about her'
Shashank: padma ..jaane do nah ..itna kyun soch rahi ho'anjie hogi wahan par ..aur armaan bhi hoga ..tum bilkul chinta mat karo
Padma: armaan kaun hain??? Aap aise kaise kissi ladke ke sath usse jane de sakte ho..
Shashank : main jaanta hoon usko'riddhima ne bataya hain mujhe uske barein..tum please itna mat socho ..sar dard ho jayega...
Shashank and riddhima started giggling'
Padma: theek hain theek hain'..
And then she was interrupted by the door bell '
Riddhima: it must be armaan (excitingly)
She ran to open the door and then she saw a gorgeous man in white shirt and black coat standing in front of her with a breathtaking smile..
Riddhima: armaan you are looking nice '.(with sparkling eyes)
Padma came there to see who exactly armaan is'.
Padma: (looking at armaan scanning him from top to bottom)..so you are armaan
Armaan: namaste aunty
Shashank: armaan beta come in..
Armaan : nahi uncle late ho raha hain..fir kabhi
Riddhima: haan papa ..we need to go now
Shashank: ok..byee..take care
Riddhima: bye ma ..byee dad ..dont worry I will be back by 11'.

Outside riddhima's house ..
Armaan got hold of riddhima's hand and quickly took her towards the car ..
Riddhima: armaan slowly'woh!! Wats the matter??
Armaan: gal you are looking amazing today (stunned..eyes wide open)
Riddhima: what??????
Armaan: in wildest of my dreams I never thought that you can look like this'you are looking beautiful..
Riddhima: (so he dreams about me'good ..) having a naughty smile on her face
Armaan: what ??????? thodi tariff kardi toh jyada sir par mat chadna 'jaldi chalo..slow coach !!!!'apke liye party wait nahi karegi'.

With this he opened the door of his car for riddhima..

In the car '
Riddhima was very excited'.anyone can guess it from her face..she couldn't stop smiling..
Armaan : tum pahli baar prom night main aa rahi ho nah ???
Riddhima.: matlab?
Armaan : tum first year ke end ki party main nahi ayi thi 'right??
Riddhima : yup how do u know this?? (surprised) (he knows a lot about me..but how???)
Armaan : hum pahunch gaye ..wow!!! party seems to be cool..
He came and opened her door
Riddhima: armaan tumne mere sawal ka jawab nahi diya??
Armaan: hum tumhara quiz baad main khelenge ..first lets go to the party'

They entered the hall'it was brightly lighted'loud music was being played..people were dancing on the dance floor'.there was food, drinks, snacks anything and everything one can imagine'
Riddhima was amazed to see all this..she had never been to such a party'.but she was scared .she was afraid of the crowd and the only thing visible here in the party was people 'the hall was packed with people'.the only thing she could see was heads ..Heads of innumerable people..people whom she knew and people whom she didn't know...

armaan saw some traces of fear on riddhima's face'
armaan : what happened????
Riddhima: there are so many people here ..I am scared..
Armaan : scared about what ?? No one will eat you and even if someone feels like eating you I wont let him do so ..so don't worry'.(naughtly)
Just then anjali arrived she was wearing a pink coloured short dress'
Armaan : hi sexy' where is your partner???
Anjie: he is parking the car'hey riddhima you are looking good'.(wid a smile)
Then she hugged riddhima because she knew that riddhima must be feeling bit scared in such a place'
They went on the dance floor'
Armaan and riddhima were dancing ..riddhima was now enjoying the party in the company of her sweet friends.
Anjie: riddhima please extra excitement main jyada dance mat karlena warna problem ho jayegi (caringly)
Armaan : haan riddhima hum slow dance karenge ..ok jyada uchal kuudh nahi karna hain yahan par'

Anjali was rocking the dance floor with her partner ..armaan and riddhima were doing slow dance'.

While doing their slow dance they slowly started coming closer n closer '.
now riddhima could feel his warm breath on her cheeks '
armaan came more closer 'their cheeks brushed'slowly armaan's grip on riddhima's waist tightened 'they were very close now looking straight into eachother's eyes'
Riddhima didn't have any problem, she was so much lost in the moment that she lost all her ability to think or react'she was just listening to her heart and her brain took the backseat'she was enjoying armaan's touch ..his clossness..

But suddenly riddhima felt a chocking sensation ..she wasn't able to breath properly ..she started coughing'.
Armaan immediately took her to the table ..he made her sit there'gave her the inhaler and then brought a glass of orange juice ..she ate some medicines and now she was feeling a bit easy'but she was sweating badly'.
Armaan : are you all right ??? how are you feeling now..?? Should I call anjie???
Riddhima: no don't disturb her'.please take me out 'I am suffocating here'I am not comfortable here '(coughing ..still trying very hard to breath)
Armaan : ok don't worry ..chalo we will go out'

he was holding riddhima from her waist ..and riddhima was leaning on armaan'then they went out '
riddhima was feeling relieved under the sky out of that mess'now she was able to breath properly she looked at armaan ..who was looking at her with concerned eyes..
armaan : if you want we can sit here or shall I drop you home ??
riddhima : can we walk down the road..
armaan : yeh sure'how are you feeling now ??
riddhima: better..

they started walking under the moonlight ..
armaan : I guess jyada dance ho gaya (guilty)
riddhima: no yaar I was feeling restless there ..I hate crowd..
armaan : did u like the party?
Riddhima: its rocking ..I am sorry I have spoiled your night..
Armaan: ofcourse you should be sorry 'stupid..this party is not as important as you are'nothing is more important than you (looking staright into her eyes)
Riddhima: (hah! He is so cute'.'..and whatever he said just now does he really mean it'and what amazing eyes he has ..I love those eyes )
riddhima: oh really!! be serious armaan..(trying hard to understand what's going in his head)
armaan: i am serious
Riddhima: ok ok...so tumhe toh aaisi parties bahut pasand hogi??
Armaan : it depends on my mood
Riddhima: ok toh Mr. moody abhi apka mood kya kar raha hain???
Armaan : apke sath walk karne ka (cheekily)
Riddhima: acha (punching him on his shoulders)
Armaan : can I ask you one thing (seriously )
Riddhima: pucho nah (naughtly)
Armaan: since when have you been suffering from this breathing problem??
Smile on riddhima's face disappeared'she started looking here and there..
Riddhima: (oh armaan why are you asking me such things..please I don't want to lie to you..) (upset)
Armaan felt that riddhima was not keen to answer his question
Armaan: (sweetly) its ok yaar ..if u don't feel like telling me then its fine with me ..chill'
Riddhima: nahi armaan 'its nothing like that ..actually since I have born I am suffering from this'
Armaan : (shocked) oye riddhima tu toh bahut strong nikali '
My strong macho gal (patting her back)..

They were walking and chatting and suddenly riddhima felt something slipping down her hair'she felt a warm touch on her neck..she closed her eyes'.and then she realized that her hair was blowing all over her face'armaan had opened riddhima's tied hair'then armaan turned riddhima towards him'he neatly tugged back all the strands of hair behind her ears

Riddhima was just starring at him disbelievingly..she dint know what was he trying to do but she wasn't able to take her eyes off him'
he was busy setting her hair'

Armaan : ah! Abhi lagi nah perfect'
Riddhima gave him a question mark look..
Armaan : what??? Tum apne baal bhandti kyun ho ..I like them open'aaise kitni pretty lagti ho..(Innocently)
Riddhima: (does he know wat he is telling)..shut up mr. flirt..
And she again started tying her hair..
Armaan: NO'firstly im not flirting wid u and secondly don't you dare tie them'(angrily)
Ridddhima: ok theek hain 'gussa kyun ho rahe ho.. Armaan lets sit ..im tired now
Armaan: arre toh bolo nah ..lets sit'

They sat in the garden'
Riddhima: asmaan par dekho 'taare kitne khoobsurat hain nah..(looking at the stars)
Armaan : (starring at riddhima) bahut (gal u look more beautiful under the moonlight)
Riddhima saw armaan staring at her
Riddhima: tumhare liye taro ka kya matlab hota hain..armaan look at the sky ..stars are looking so amazing'
armaan: (mere liye toh tum hi meri tara ho ...nothing is more amazing than you..my star) (smiling still looking at her)
riddhima: ARMAAN!!! look at the stars...(pretending to be angry)
Armaan : (now looking at the sky)yup they are amazing but I liked that star (pointing towards a bright star)
Riddhima: what do you mean by that ..sare stars same hote hain duffer
Armaan : nahi yaar woh star bahut jyada shine kar raha hain'look
Riddhima: which star I can't find it (searching for the star)
Armaan: arre who toh raha (he took her hand and pointed her finger towards the star)
Riddhima: (very excitingly) oh 'haan mujhe mill gaya wow'sach main who toh bahut jyada shine kar raha hain (with sparkeling eyes)
riddhima: tumhe constellations dekhna ate hain ..main bahut try kartu hu but mujhe koi milta hi nahi hai..(dissapointed)
armaan : stupid ..i will show you....

So this is how they had spend their first prom together ..staring at stars, walking down the road and chatting all possible things....
