Part 15
SAJAN
….. They walked on when they heard a noise, like a wild animal. Gunjan shivered, it gave her the creeps. Samrat suggested they take a different route, and now he had even lost track o where his bike was, it did get him disheartened but he thought that getting out of the Gunjan and getting Gunjan safely back home was more important.
They walked the opposite way, until they found shelter. It was not what one could cal "home", but it was a lifesaver for those two who were getting tensed in the jungle. They got into the shed, it had hay all over, but luckily no animals in sight……..
MAYUR
Nupur, Dia, Benji and Uday had gone to Mayank's place, hoping to find Samrat and Gunjan there. On reaching they realized that the two were not there. They were in a state of panic. Meanwhile, they sought to console Nupur as she was very tensed for her sister. Dia got a call and she excused herself to go back home as she had suddenly remembered the project work she was left with. Benji and Uday offered to help her but Nupur was still, with tension in her eyes.
They left his place, promising to return soon. On reaching back home, Benji switched on the news which predicted heavy rains in Mumbai, he swept off the thought considering that weather predictions were rarely right. Just then, he looked out of the window and noticed the heavy rains.
Meanwhile, at Mayank's place, Nupur just found another reason to get upset. He tried to get in touch with Dia but her phone remained unreachable, same as the case with others. Nupur looked up at Mayank, "Am I tat bad? Why is all this happening to me? First I don't know where my sister is, second I can't get back home, third I am not at all lucky with love"…..
As she realized what she had just said, she looked at Mayank who was trying to figure out what she meant by hr third reason.
"Oh um… forget that, I got over it. I, I just want my sister back. She is scared of the dark; I know that, she is even too scared to sleep without the night lamp on. God! I wonder where she is", saying so she got tensed again.
SAJAN
Gunjan was silent and did not want to let Samrat vanish from front of her eyes. She kept looking at him, but when he repeated the gesture, she would look away. They were in the shed and both were feeling weird. Gunjan was walking around when she groaned in pain. Samrat came over To see what had happened, she had wounded herself. He looked into her eyes full of pain and felt bad. She had slipped and her knee was bleeding. He did not know what to do, as he had hated biology since he was a kid.
But he was a bollywood fan and had seen such scenes but it was normally the guy who got injured, well maybe his story was different, he thought!!!
But wait, girls wrapped their "dupatta" (cloth worn around the neck with traditional dresses) around the guy, and he had no dupatta. He had no time to think so he removed his own shirt, and tore part of it to cover her wound. In seconds, that part of his shirt went red with blood when wrapped around Gunjan's wound.
She looked at him and this time she did not look away when he stared at her. They stared into each other's eyes and then Gunjan realized that he was shirtless so she quickly looked away. Noticing that, he said, "What? I removed it for you so don't behave like that ok?"
Gunjan liked the tone of his voice when he said that, it was innocent. She looked back into his eyes, she got lost in them. His eyes made her feel she was safe, she trusted him a lot. Her eyes were filled with tears because of the wound. He wiped away her tears. She smiled at him. He smiled back reassuringly.
MAYUR
Mayank looked at Nupur and told her everything will be fine. She was crying. He was sad, he had not felt so bad for someone before. He looked at her as she continued with the talking. She was continuously blaming herself and he placed is finger on her lips.
"Not a word more. You are not responsible Nupur. This is not even such a serious issue. Besides, she is not alone. Please don't get yourself tensed because of that, please don't", he said with care for her in his voice.
