They walk together to Kumud's dorm.

Kumud: Kshitij, please, you saved my life, it is my farz to…

Kshitij: Kumud, it is getting late, though, you should go to sleep.

Kumud: please…

Kshitij: Fine!

They go up to Kumud's dorm. They enter. Kshitij is like wow!

Kumud: You wait here. I will be back with the first aid kit.

Kshitij waits. Kumud comes back. She takes out the medicine + other stuff.

Kumud starts applying the things on his neck. They are standing really really really close.

Their lips are almost touching.

Kshitij: Ouch!!!

Kumud looks up at him.

Kumud: I am sorry. Did it hurt?

Kshitij: It is ok!

Kumud gets done. He starts to leave.

Kumud: Bye!

Kshitij: Kumud…

Kumud: Kya?

Kshitij: Thanks!

Kumud just smiles at him.

He leaves.

Simran: Kya Kumud, you look so happy!

Kumud: Nothing, Me and Kshitij are friends now!

Simran: Great!!!

Class-

Teacher: Class, we have quite some great minds with us!

Teacher: The essays you turned in had some great ideas! I will be pairing you up with the person who had the closest idea as you.

Kumud: Cool!

Teacher: Your papers say who you are to be paired up with.

The class gets their papers.

Kumud+Kshitij: Kumud/ Kshitij!!!????

They get together after class in the caf.

Kumud: Why, Why Kshitij? We think alike too.

They laugh. Kumud and Kshitij are getting closer day by day.

Simran: Kumud, aj kal tu kuch zaada hee khush lagti hai. What is the secret?

Kumud blushes.

Kumud: Nothing.

Simran: Kshitij…

Kumud: What? How did you know?

Simran: What? I am just telling you to look up because Kshitij is calling you.

Kumud (thinks to herself) O my gosh. How could I let that slip.

Simran: Kumud…I think that maybe we should talk later.

Kumud's face goes red. She walks toward Kshitij.

Kshitij: I can't meet today.

Kumud: Ok!

Kshitij: Bye.

Kumud: Bye!

Kumud thinks to herself—Why do I feel so different around Kshitij? Is this love? No way! I hate guys!

Kshitij on the other hand is not thinking anything.

Kumud goes back to Simran.

Simran: Kshitij is the secret huh?

Kumud blushes. It has been 6 months since she and Kshitij have been "friends".

Simran: Kumud, why don't you go tell him that you love him?

Kumud: I don't know if he loves me though.

Simran: How can he not? I mean, look at all the time you guys have been spending together.

Kumud: I will go tonight.

(***Info: Kshitij has been protecting Kumud for the past 6 months. Many inidents have taken place. But Kshitij is always there for Kumud.)

Kumud goes to Garv, Kshitij, and Raj's dorm.

She is about to knock when she hears voices and stops to listen.

Garv: Dude, boss better be happy.

Raj: Yep, after all, we have been protecting Kumud and Kali since like forever.

Kshitij: Yeah, I know!

Garv: I thought you liked this job???

Kshitij: I still do. But nothing is more important to me than my assignments.

Raj: So Kumud is important to you?

Garv: Of course she is!!! All our job was to come here, pretend to be students, protect Kumud and Kali for Mr. Abhay Kapoor.

Kshitij: YEP!!! Now, Our job I guess is over!

Suddenly, he hears sobs outside the door. Kshitij runs and opens it. He is shocked to see Kumud crying. She is running away.

Kshitij: KUMUD!!!! Wait!!!

They stop at a tree.

Kumud is crying really hard.

Kumud: Kshitij…how could you do this to me?

Kshitij: Do what???

Kumud: So, I mean nothing more to you than an assignment? What happened top all those times we spend together???

Kshitij: Kumud…you did not…

Kumud: Yes Kshitij, it was my fault that I fell in love with you. I mean nothing to you. It is all my fault.

Kshitij: WHAT?? You love me???

Kumud: Yes!

Kshitij: Kumud… I have never looked at a gal that way before. Pyaar is not my thing. I a sorry.

Kumud just runs away from there. Kshitij is left standing.
