Nupur slept trying to calm some nerves that night.......the slumber did no good to her....her head was banging the other day too, she took a tablet so that her head doesn't ache. She came down only to call the others helping in packing up, gunjan n samrat were busy seeing their photos from last night, she went out to the garden n saw mayank returning from the sagai venue with all the left over belongings. Mayank's eyes caught her eyes n nupur slowly shifted her gaze to her chat(roof), c saw every1 talking to mayank's mother.....

naniji- nupur ke parents ki death ke baad all of us wanted them to come back coz then we wud have taken care of them.....but the girls did not want this....I guess now we know y....

MM- why??

naniji- aap bhi na shilpa ji from the day u have been here with us, we clearly saw the girls value u a lot, infact I might say like a mother......thank u so much......warna aaj kal ke jamane mein....koun itna karta hai??

MM- arre nai nai.....

nupur's gaze now shifted to a group of her admirers who were there to wish her good bye, they had got all sorts of things for her roses, cards, various gifts......she was accepted all of these with love and gratitude............

benji saw this n.........

benji- malika-e morena.....apke adesh anusar yaha ka sara kam kaj kar diya gaya hai, aur toh aur aaj raat ko station jaane ke liye yatayat ka bando bast bhi hogaya hai.........agar ye nacheez apke liye kuch aur kar sake toh hukum kari ye.....

all the others heard benji n they gather around to hit him

samrat- abey saale yatak ka toh bandabast maine kiya hai

gunjan- samrat yatayat.....

mayank- aur yaha ghar pe maine ma ne dia n uday ne bhi kam kiya......

dia- to be very precise tumhare aalawa sabne kaam kiya hai.....

benji- thik hai bhai, sab mujhpe chad kyu rahe ho....

nupur- thik hai isse chodo.....main soch rahi thi ki, kyu na aaj shaam ko train pakadne se pehle hum chaat par khana khaaye.........n guys remember.......

samrat- nupur chinta maat karo main hu na sab ho jayega!!!!!!

after the lunch most of them took a small nap, that was followed by a small tea.....then nupur asked aunty to apply oil to her hair......she sat beside the bed right under MM's nose.....n mm was applying oil

MM- nupur, what have u done to your hair see they have become so frizzy n have lost their shine......pehle toh u had such nice hair, dhayan rakho beta....u know eat healthy....apply henna or some other natural conditioners.....curd or raw egg....

N- aunty time hi nai mila humesha kuch na kuch, kuch na kuch karna hota tha.....life was badly hectic after college

MM- I know that beta, but ab life's gud....toh ab karle....nai toh takli ho jayegi.....waise ek baat toh hai nupur...ab im quite sure that my daughter strongest...

N- kyu aunty maine aisa kya kiya ???

MM-arre jo tumne kiya woh koi kare toh na.....ek hindi serial ki achi bahu ki tarah dhup mein khud chalti rahi par apne aapno par aachnai aane di(*filmy*)

nupur giggled.......

N- aunty bahut filmy ho aap, main naha ke aati hu.....

MM- ok beta but make sure you're out soon or else ull fall ill.

nupur moves towards a bathroom......when she sees others working on the roof.....with decorations n food.....samrat saw her, n winked at her n then showed her thumbs up. nupur had a quick shower n came out....only to find mm looking for all the kids....

MM- nupur beta....ye saare saath gayab ho gaye hai....mujhe kuch daal mein kala lag raha hai...

Nupur- aunty aapne jyada cid dekh rakha hai.....chalo chaat pe chalte hai....apke daya aur abhijeet waale brain ko shaant karte hai.

nupur n mm move upwards.....as soon as mm reached the entrance of the terrace...all of them yelled......HAPPY BIRTHDAY.......

At first mm was shocked bcoz of the sudden noise.....but slowly she realized ki they have taken so much trouble for....but then

MM- mera bday toh kal hai

M- toh?!? tum bhi na maa.....kal train mein koun manayega...issi liye aaj hi......

MM- OH!!! thank you bacha log ......

saying this she kissed every1....mayank n nupur.....followed by gunjan....n then samrat....when mm was about to move on kiss benji... samrat put his other cheek forward for another kiss....n got it, followed by benji cj, uday annie n aakash

aakash- let's dance???

all of them proceeded towards the cake....mm cut the cake with them....after all this akash made mm sit in a huge seat n announced...

A- tada tada.....ladies n gentle men ......ab we have done something super special for shilpa aunty.....we have organized a cookery competition for her to judge....for men n only men......... the best cook gets to dance with her....n obs mayank is not participating.....he has just made the edible stuff for dinner !!

benji was the first one to produce his dish ......he made sweet corn....coz he was asked to make starters....mm managed that!!!!

samrat gave her palak panneer in main course......while akash had made chapatis....well he called it so......n uday was very proud as he gave mm ice cream............

Annie- aunty...uday ki gift best hai....kyuki usne pichle do ghante se padi icecream ko haanth bhi nai lagaya hai.....sirf aapke liye

MM- how sweet!!!!

Annie- how sweet!!!!

all other looking at annie n uday- HOW SWEET!!!

since mm could not decide which dish was better.....she decide to dance with all the boys........

She called benji first....benji taught her the 'beedi jalayi le' dance......uday taught mm the birdie dance......samrat n mayank took turns to do ball dance with mm....when mm got tired she said.....you youngsters have such weird dancing styles we had gidda bhangra... n all.......u need to be really fit to perform them......ye saare to aiwai hai......she declared

hearing this all of them started doing bhangra........

akash in the middle of all this said- aunty aapne mere saath dance nai kiya...

MM- arre akash now we will dance na

Akash became super happy n started dancing n the dance floor was soon evacuated.......

After all the dance nupur served every1 refreshments, followed by dinner.....

At 8 every1 got ready to leave for the station...since their train was on time.....

at station

Nupur allotted every1 seats n kept the luggage beneath the seat n sat with her iPod listening to songs.....every slept of as soon as the train left morena......while nupur was staring at morena....seeing it go far away from her again......first her relatives at the station then the roads the paddy fields.....n then it was gone....she thought she wud never b back here again.....for her own good......she kept staring outside the window.....looking at the stars....sometimes the fields n tunnels.....she saw every1 sleeping beside her.....she thought they were tired from the day's work.......

Tired from the day's work mayank had slept of soon.....but he woke up when the train jerked.....he thought of mm n his dance with her.....he was so glad to c her happy.....even when she was sleeping she was smiling......he saw her from his upper berth.....then he thought bout nupur....he started wondering as too what is going in her mind......she dint talk to him much that day but seemed normal.....he was confused...he bent to check were nupur was n saw her sitting on a side lower....he decided to talk to her now......... he got down

nupur???

nupur turned around to face him......

mayank...soe nai??

neend khul gayi.....

saying this she moved her feet to give him space.....

M-nupur u have not really talked to me since last night ......I wanted to explain my self........

N- mayank I don't want u to explain urself......mayank last night I realized ki I am not moving on.....I keep holding on to things.....I was clinging to morena....its ppl....ma bauji.....gunjan...u....but now im trying to move on....I don't let ppl go that's y it hurts....memories achi tareeke se bhi yaad kari ja sakti hai.........

M- nice decision, so basically.......

N- I let morena go today mayank......n will let gunjan leave the day after.....she is samrats.....n she will b with him happy as ever....I'll let her go..

M- hmmmm......

N- but the first thing I let go was my love for u mayank.......now don't expect it...or anything from me......im trying hard...let me do this.....3 yrs have been enough of pain..

M- nupur I understand, but I want u to listen to me........plz...even if u don't change your answer it's ok.........

nupur kept quite n waited for mayank to begin n end as soon as possible.......more mayank more thinking more pain.....she wanted her life devoid of it.....she was happy for others....but after years at least she was happy.....

M- nupur I dint know us time what is the best......but I thought what I did was......now im sure that wasn't really a gud decision .....but that's all that I cud do....I had no intension of hurting u n was unaware of bauji's death......nupur im sorry....im so sorry nupur.......

mayank was waiting for nupur to say something but she dint reply for quite a while.........her silence was killing....he so wished she blabbered something....like she used to ........but all he got as a reply was good night mayank!!!

mayank moved n saw nupur make bed n sleep......a little while later she started snoring lightly.......he got back to his birth.....

n left nupur thinking......she wasn't an asleep....she was just a good n original actress.............

a small tear escaped her eye as she thought of mayank .....if life has been tough for her it's not been easy for him either.......poor him......

but she can't allow herself to suffer from all that again.......she is never gng to allow herself to love him.....he was a nice guy.....perfect....but love was not her thing.....lets c if she ever gets married.....she wanted to love him back.......actually she did love him back..........but sometimes its not just love that keeps it going........she never doubted his loyality or sincerity but she somehow cant accept her love from him.......she was trying to run away from it.....hoping it helps

I guess life has made me numb..........
