Part 19 - thodi thodi friendship
The day was tiring and too eventful for nupur to handle, at 11 she went to her room, but she was unable to sleep..........her brain banged against her skull.....aghhhh too much for her.....ma ke gehene......mayank.....everything just everything aghhhhh...
Pushpender a new entry in excel after nupur............he was a new student and nupur was made his lab partner to help him. Mayank came to the class late due to bus n auto strikes that day.
Nupur quite normally did the experiments with him, but the sight of nupur n pushpender together was irritating for mayank..............specially when he knew pushpender as one of the goons of his area..............but he couldnt object then..............but his worries and anger was well reflected on his work.
After the class:
M- nupur....
N- hi mayank.....aaj ke experiments ache the na, mujhe saare ryt values aaye.......unlike pehle jab mujhe 3-4 bar repeat karna padta tha, aghhh i hate experiments......
M- woh tumhe uske saath experiments nai karne chahiye the
N- kisske saath.....pushpender.....like i had an option......humare sachin tendulkar ka order tha

N- haan haan, humara lab incharge....smily singh

N- kyuki that marcho man has a pitch voice.....lol and even when he scoldeds he smiles
Mayank and nupur laughed at it.........

Nupur went out of the room and started looking for mayank........at 1 in the night........mayank shud be asleep she thought........but still she went to the garden............. mayank was sitting on the swing.......it was lightly moving with the winds........his eyes closed and probably nupur in his mind
M- nupur aao baitho................(his eyes still closed)
Nupur came and sat diagonally to him
N- mayank tumhe pata kaise chala ki maine ma ke......
M- kal humme bahut kaam hai nupur, jitni humari jodi rocking usse kahi jyada rocking humme gunjan ki sagai banani hai
N- aur tumhe tension ho rahi hai
M- main toh tension free hu...........(nupur looked confused)
Kuch problem hui toh mere paas do bahut ache solutions
N- kya??
M- ma aur tum..................ma toh ma hai ma!!!aur tumne kachi goliyaan nai kheli.............aisi koi problem hi nai jiska solution tumhare paas nai ho
N- (smiles)- tum bhi na mayank.......................waise tumhe ab tak jalan hoti hai

Mayank stopped at this, an awkward silence preceeded the conversation............but not for long

Hey mayank........mom dad se baat ab hui.......they r saying as in estimating ki ppl more than 110 are turning up and we will need around 80 rooms
M- thnx samrat, toh nupur to be safe we will book around 90 rooms......haa wats say

M- Nupur i dint kno bout uncle, till a few days back.......samrat told me
N- yeah i cudnt inform u
M- ya, after that u suddenly left college for a month or something

M- u must hv been terrible that time.........i kno.....i mean i cant imagine wat u hv been thru
N- yeah bauji was like both ma n him and he went away.......made me feel homeless n unloved n .....
Nupur had closed her eyes and tears just rolled down her cheek
M- Nupur dont worry now im there now.........
N- yeah now u r there, but who r u......n where were u there then when i needed u
Mayank dint hv an answer to that, nupur was right, he wasnt around when nupur needed him the most.
N- mayank i had to leave gunjan away frm me so that she cud study, n be away frm the financial problems, n work for that man who was so bloody cheap
she rested her head on mayank's shoulder, after sometime
N- yeah so now wat, look mayank lets not discuss past as it is just past.............done n over
nupur got up n walked away
M-Nupur now im there n there for like forever
The little time she spent with mayank she felt nice........protected.....n loved
Samrat went to drop gunjan till the door

The next day nupur and mayank went towards the uncles garden, mayank was inspecting the garden and nupur was assisting him. He assigned places for the caterer n the desk and was pondering over the decoration. While nupur just followed him, here n there. Later during the day ma turned up with the caterers. Benji n uday came with the lights of all the possible shapes n sizes..............they had a tough task in front of them, they had to arrange them in such a away ki it looks attractive instead of looking odd .
Mayank took all the small lights do decorate the trees and gave the big lights to benji n uday under the super vision of nupur. Srinivas the son of the owner of the garden was there, he saw nupur one of his first crushes during school. All the time while supervising the work he kept looking at nupur from the corner of his eyes. MM came with the caterer, she made sure that the caterer had proper cooking place, with low possibilities of catching fire, then she made sure that the cooking area is well connected to the dining area, and had several fights with the tent man over that, he wanted to arrange dining space in a particular manner n she dint like that. Nupur too had numerous fights with benji n uday over the decoration
Gunjan came to help mm n cj and archi to nupur. Nupur stole glances at mayu n mayu at nupz. At one such point mayank noticed srinivas staring at nupz. Mayank dint like the way srinivas looked at nupur, it wasnt really a normal jealously he dint like him really. But he continued with work, ignoring his feeling for once.
After the days hard work, samrat finally got the ring n liked it too, dia had attend the rooms personally , mm was done with some preparation for tomorrow, after a lot of work the lights were nicely arranged, a lot of brains were cracked over it though. It was 11 at night and the place was well decorated. Entrance was the only thing left to be done. Everyone had left the place with only mayank and nupur left doing the touch ups to the place. Nupur was trying fixing up the lights, she was trying to hammer a nail on a tree. Mayank came upto help, both tried to fix the nail together but were not able to, so mayank decide to do it on his own. Finally done.
N- mayank mere saath chaloge plz, washroom tak
Mayank obliged. They walked towards the washroom
M- bas ab main isse agge nai ja sakta
N- kyu??
M- upar dekho, ladies ka sign hai nupur
N- ya right raat ke saade igyarah baje koi ladki idhar aayegi bathroom use karne...
M- arre na bhi aaye toh main ladies washroom mein kyu gusu??
N- ya ur right, well actually iske bathroom ka darwaza andar se nai khulta
M-oh chalo ill come
Nupur went in, mayank followed...............while coming out of the bathroom, the bathroom door got stuck......Nupur yelled at mayank for help........mayank started jerking the door really hard and when it opened it happened to hit nupur
N- ouch
M- oh ohhh im so sorry nupur, chalo lets quicky go towards the bike ussme first aid kit hoga.
N- samrat ki bike mein first aid kit nai hoga, main isse paani se dho leti hu
Nupur went towards the basin to clean her forehead
M- nupur ye paani mat use karo main andar se bottled water lata hu
Mayank went b4 nupur could stop him and then they cleaned her wound. They went towards the bike, mayank sat on it followed by nupur, nupur sat leaving some gap between the 2 with her feet on one side of the bike.
Mayank drove the bike pretty fast, so that they would reach home soon, the wind blew with a gr8 velocity against mayank and nupur. Nupur started feeling cold she took a shawl out of her bag and wrapped it around her, she felt better later. Half way to theor place
N- mayank, my head ache due to the chot i guess, mere pass medicine hai, kahi rok do main waha se paani leke kha lungi
M- nupur jaise hi koi dhaba dikhega ill stop
After 15min mayank stopped the bike at a dhabba. Both of them got down, mayank took some water and gave it to nupur, while passing on the glass............nupur happened to touch mayank's hands which were icy cold. They went towards the bike.
N- mayank ye lo gloves
M- ye kaha se aaye
N- mere ha ii always carry some woollens, nights can be pretty cold in morena
M- thanks ab it will be easier to drive
Mayank and nupur both sat on the bike, this time nupur kept one leg at both the sides
M- aise kyu baithi??
N- then we will be able to share the shawl
M- nupur aise hum dono ko thand lagegi
N- thodi thodi lagegi, tumhe saari thand lagegi aur main aaraam se shawl odhu, kabhi nai.
Mayank dint argue much. Both of them tried wrapping the shawl around themselves n mayank started driving, all the while the shawl kept coming off
M- nupur main keh raha hu na tum shawl rakh lo
Mayank was pretty correct, the shawl did nothing just distracted him, but nupur's old ego was back how could be she wrong and hence she took the ends of the shawl and tied them behind her and she moved closer to mayank in order to tie them. After some time nupur kept her head on mayank's back and went off to sleep, in her sleep she hugged him, probably coz the warmth of his body kept her cozy.
About 45 mins later they reached their place nupur dint wake up even due to the jerk of the brake, though mayank dint want to wake her up, but he did.
Nupur got up n was now pretty awkward, she tried moving away, even getting off the bike but the shawl stopped her, seeing her awkward mayank pulled the knot of the shawl towards him and undid it. Nupur got down the bike apologized.
N- mayank thanks kal after i told u all this i felt better
M-hmm
N- ur like the only one who knos all this

N- yeah ur..........its getting a little late.......good night
