Sometime aftr Mayank had left, Nupur cud hear some footsteps..she stood up n wiping her tears turned around 2 c it was Gunjan....she was crying...Nupur gave her a sry look bcoz she understood dt Gunjan had ovrheard the conversation...

Gunjan walked in...she seemed completely shook 2 hear ds news....she walked 2wrds Nupur...Nupur was so concerned she quickly walked towards Gunjan, held her cheeks in her hands n said:"Gunjan tu..."

Gunjan cud jst whisper:"Bhabhi...tum...ye...main...tumhein...ye sab..."---she cud jst speak broken wrds with long pauses...then she broke down...she cried loudly n literally shouted:"Kyuuuu?????????kyun aisa hota hai mere saath...pehle bhaiya....ab..."she then wiped her tears n showed as if she wudnt cry anymore n said:"Nahi...dekho...bhabhi...kuch nahi hoga huh!!!main..main sab theek kar doongi!!"

Nupur ws so touched by ds reaction..bt she cudnt say anything...while she herself was crying she tried 2 console Gunjan:"Gunjan...tu...please......main..."n she cudnt say anymore...she fainted...Gunjan screamed:"Bhabhi........"

She decided 2 call up Samrat...

At Mayank's side---

Mayank soon reached da hospital...Samrat was already there with his mom...she lied on her bed....she was concious....bt da doctors gave Mayank a tensed look....Mayank had 2 much 4 da day 2 handle...first Nupur n then this....Samrat received a call 4m Gunjan n he left hurriedly...he didnt tell Mayank abt it bcoz he knew Mayank was already tensed...

Mayank went 2 speak 2 da doctors...

In the doctor's cabin---

Mayank:"Doctor ye..."

Doc:"Mr.Sharma....aap ki mom ki surgery ne side effects dikha dia hai...ek poison hai jo unki body mein dheere dheere pehel raha hai...i m afraid...she ll hv 2 undergo a major surgery..."

Mayank:"Toh problem kia hai??dekhiye paise ki fikar mat kijiye..."

Doc:"Mr.Sharma...baat paise ki nahi hai...dekhye...aisi surgeries mein sirf 5% patients k bachne k chances hote hain....n in her case..."

Mayank cudnt hlp it bt he cried:"Doctor please.......please aap......ye...main..."

He left da room without a wrd....while he was on his way 2 his mom's room he saw Gunjan n Sammy hurriedly coming n Nupur lay there..unconcious...he ran towards them:"Ye..nupur...kia hoa ise?"

Gunjan crying:"Wo....behosh ho gayi!!"

Just then da doctor in charge of Nupur's case came there:"O God!!Jiska mujhe darr tha wahi hoa!!"

Mayank was dying each moment he saw Nupur...he said:"Matlab?"

Doc:"Nupur ka tumour aakhri stage par hai..v hv 2 operate her immediately....please...nurse..."he called out 2 da nurse n they took her away.....

Gunjan crying:"Bhabhi ko.."

Doc:"Dekhye please relax...aap ko kuch papers sign karne honge..."

Gunjan wasnt in any gud condition either...nor was Mayank or Sammy bt Mayank agreed 2 sign da papers...

Bt he excused himself 4 a moment n went 2 his mom...n then sitting down beside her..she saw his expressions n jst asked:"Kia hoa?"

Mayank cried...he cudnt take it anymore...while crying he said:"Ye sab kyu ho raha hai maa??Nupur...nupur ko brain tumour hai...ek taraf mera pyaar aur ek taraf tum..."---he then took her hand in his n said:"Tumhein kuch nahi hoga maa....main hoon...main...maa...!!!!Maa...main tum dono mein se kisi ko nahi kho sakta...agar tum meri zindagi ho toh nupur meri saans...main toh toot jaonga agar...agar tumhein kuch bhi hoa...i cnt lose u....maa tum please...please theek ho jao maa...aaj mujhe tumhari bohat zaroorat hai...main toh...main toh tum dono se bohat pyaar karta hoon...main..main..."his voice died n he rested on her mom's shoulder...he cried...his mom raised him n said:"Kuch nahi hoga...kuch bura nahi hoga...hmhh??!!Tu Nupur k paas jaa...aur meri diary mujhe deta jaa...jaa beta!!"

Mayank swallowed hard...He didnt know wt in his mom's wrds gave him so much comfort dt he didnt cry anymore...he was silent...he went 2 sign da papers....n silently signed 2 papers...one 4 his mom n one for nupur...that in case anything happens 2 them...he has done dt formality...

Operations had strtd on either sides aftr 2hrs....

The lights closed n doctor came out 4m da room where Nupur was operated....Mayank swallowed hard...
