Both of them stepped out of the lift and onto the top floor of CQ insurance company, passing by Ms Aha who was Shukla sir's assistant. In the office foyer sat some nervous interviewees waiting for there turn, some fiddled with their tie or hair the other staring up at the clear roof. "Morning Mayank and Nupur.." spoke Ms Aha from behind her desk, "Morning Ms Aha.." spoke Nupur as Mayank just kept walking towards Shukla's door.

Shukla sir leaned against his dark oak table dressed in a grey suit and oil bathed hair, Nupur scrunched her nose as she entered to hide the smell of the coconut oil that filled the air, "aao.. Betho.apna hi ghar samjho... " he said motioning them both to sit in the maroon leather chairs in front of the him, "uhh.. Nahin sir.. Hum theek hain.." spoke Mayank as they both waited for Shukla to start talking.

As soon as he started talking, both Mayank and Nupur wish they had sat down or at least been warned about what he was going to say.

"How in the world does he expect us to change our whole new advertising scheme in 1 week?... It's not possible.." spoke Mayank as he stormed out of the elevator with Nupur following, "humare mehnat sab paani main doob chuka hain.." he groaned rushing his hand through his hair. "well.. There is something we can do.. Lekin thoda sa over time karna padega.." Nupur said walking through to his office, "kya?" "well.. He said that we need to use a different outlook on how we're going to sell the next scheme.. And there's not better way than using our customers as part of our Add.. Jacko has our consumer usage rate and using that we could see which insurance plan most customers are buying and can start our add from there.. We use the actors we already had planned and booked just change the script and extra effects…" he nodded, looking at her he smiled "done.. Start working on it now.. Let everyone know.." she smiled and thanked herself for the wonderful idea.

They both started their work splitting up and started finishing of this weeks paperwork and getting next week's paperwork and work schedule fixed. Lunch came and passed and as the afternoon started to drag on Mayank's mobile rang as he stood in the middle of the office floor talking to the staff.

"Excuse me.." he spoke, answering his mobile to hear his mothers voice on the other end. As the staff continued talking, Mayank leaned back on the table and listened to his mum go on and on about girls, Goa and girls "Ma.. How many time's do I have to tell you.. No!.." he tried to tone down his voice so no one else could hear what he was talking about, she continued on about inviting a friends daughter for him to meet while he was in Goa and still she wouldn't listen to him when he said no AGAIN "why?" answered his mum, "kyunki.. Kyunki.. I have a girlfriend already…Nupur! Nupur Bhushan is my girl-friend" when he said it, he hadn't realised how loud his voice had become or the fact he was standing in the middle of the office floor. On top of all that, Nupur who had been walking towards him had come to a stop dropping everything that was in her hand with mouth hung open and eyes that shot daggers at him. Quickly realising what he had done, he said a good bye to his mum and looked at the staff who were more than shocked.

"Mayank and Nupur?.. Since when?? She hates him..what is this?" he heard it all, as he walked towards Nupur dragging her by her arm towards his office.

"Mayank! What in the world was that?" she said, finally coming back to senses "since when in the world am I your girlfriend?.. Leave girl-friend since when have we been friends?" she yelled, "Nupur!..." he tried to speak to her, "Ohh don't you dare Nupur me.. Don't think you can take advantage of me just because I'm your assistant.. Kya kiya tumne?.. Aur sabke samne? Ohh my god.. I swear Mayank Sharma.. Itne saalo se tumhein bardasht ki hain.. Aur tum yeh karta ho…" she used her hands to cover her face and calm herself down, "I didn't mean to say your name.. It was the first thing that came to my mind.." he said as he stepped closer to her, she looked at him "Why.. Why did you have to tell your mother that I'm your girl-friend?? Couldn't you have chosen some other girl that's already fida over you to make her your girl-friend?.." pointing her finger at him, she sighed again trying to calm herself down "it's the story of every youth out there.. My mother wants me back home and a bahu.. I don't want to go back home neither do I want to get married or find a girl-friend.. Using you will mean a) she wont find me a girl b) not make me move home and c) I'll stay happy.. All you have to do is, come with me to Goa for my parents 30th Wedding anniversary, pretend like we're boyfriend and girl-friend return to Mumbai and break-up.. End of story.." he looked at her, hoping she would agree to this.

There was no other way, he didn't want to move back home under any circumstances and he didn't want to get emotionally entangled with someone. "What do I get out of it if I come with you? You've told me how it helps you.. But isme mera kya fyda hain.. Huh?" she asked, "you still don't get it.. If they get me married.. Which sometime sooner they will, they'll make me move back home meaning I leave this job a new manager comes in.. And I have a feeling it will be none other than Sheena Mathur, now I know no one wants a boss like her.. So this is saving you from the queen of hell and me from the ties of family.." Nupur nodded agreeing to what he said, no body wanted a boss like Sheena.

Yes, Mayank could be bad but Sheena was like Mayank had said the Queen of Hell; she knew another way this could help her if an opportunity was waiting there for her she had to grab it with both hands "I have another idea..I'll come along to this gathering of your's in Goa.. On the condition we come back and I get the Promotion I've been waiting 3 years for.." she crossed her arms across her chest and looked at him waiting for an answer. He didn't say anything, smirking she turned around and started walking towards the door, "No deal then…" she spoke about to push open the door, "deal.. You come with me and I'll give you the Promotion.." he said calling out to her, smiling she turned around and put her arm out to Mayank to seal the deal.

Exactly 12 hours later, both sat next to each other in the small plane to Goa. Friday to Monday; 4 days, acting for 4 days that wasn't going to be hard. All she had to do was act all lovey dovey around Mayank and his family and enjoy the beautiful Goan weather and beaches.

"tumhein pata hain..kabhi sapne main socha bhi nahin ki.. Ki one day I'll be sitting on a plane with you.. Even that to Goa.. And as your girl-friend wah!.." spoke Nupur all excited, she hadn't stopped talking since the plane had started. He never thought she was like this, I guess there was a big different from professional and personal Nupur. Though he'd made the mistake of mixing both professional and personal together. He was just praying to God that it worked and no more unfortunate events had to come forward. One of them including a talk with his father.

"...and the game begins" he whispered as he heard the air-hostess over the PA system speak of Landing. Nupur looked side ways to Mayank and prayed to God that these 4 days went quickly and she got her promotion.
