"For the last time, I know I am late, It's hardly my fault though, Try and ask that to my Mercedes." The lady snapped back to whoever it was on the other end of the line. The cabby rolled his eyes as he felt sorry for him and the person on the other end. Thoughts ran across his mind. 'Goodness, if she can avert her gaze a bit out of the mirror, she'll acknowledge that we are indeed in the middle of the London rush hour and its impossible for me to do 50 mph now isn't it?' The cabby, a guy in his early thirties, cursed himself for picking up the passenger first thing that morning.
His hand reached out to lower the volume. Twisting the dial he applied his handbrake and tapped impatiently on the wheel. The traffic lights were bound to take forever, considering the 15-20 cars infront of him in the queue. Blissful silence filled the car for mere moments as the faint voice on the end of the blackberry chirped meekly.
The cabby glanced in the central mirror as his gaze followed the lady in the back. Her face dawned a familiarity. He often encountered her type customers; egotistical, fake and 'superior' to the core. The cabby battled his thoughts. 'She's probably a lawyer or a doctor.' But alas, another gaze through the central mirror crossed out those options.
Gucci handbag, Louis Vuitton jacket, Dolce and Gabbana sunglasses. This was one of London's elite class. Bringing the clutch to the biting point, he crept up the car towards the lights just as they flashed red again. Shoving his earphones into his ears, he tapped rhythmatically to the music. Few moments later the lights flashed amber followed by green and he stepped on it. Hanging the ear phones around his neck, he couldn't help but overhear the conversation. During his profession he'd heard everything form divorces to the 'who's doing who' talks. Heck' what was one more?
The cabby laughed mentally, 'lets see' this one's angry on her husband' the poor chap probably brought the wrong colour Aston martin.' Weighing up his assumption he averted his attention back to the conversation.
"You better have understood!" With that she slammed her blackberry into her pocket.
The cabby was shock stricken with the sudden turn of events. She caught his eyes in the mirror, crooking a smile; she arched a perfectly done eyebrow and muttered.
"Shut up and drive."
"Good morning Miss Riddhima." The gate man whished her in his subtle tone. Merely nodding her head, she headed towards the lift. The elite lift for her only. Tapping her perfectly manicured fingers on the railing she lost herself in the meetings and her daily schedule.
This was Riddhima gupta. Or better known as RG in the coperate world. Owner of RG enterprises, her company spread over various branches of industries. From pharmaceuticals to chemical manufacturing. From clothes manufacture to fashion brands. Expanding into the business of phones was her next plan. Riddhima gupta had built herself, with nothing to take from a soul. Referred to as the 'dark horse' she was very deserving for the title. Every step she took spiralled her towards success. Winner of youngest achiever for the second year running, Riddhima gupta had all the reasons to be the proud, arrogant personality she displayed. One shrewd woman with a brain let alone the heart for hard core business.
Riddhima gupta walked out of the lift in pride. Her head held high as her assistants wandered behind her with the daily schedule. RG stopped and the whole bunch of army behind her came to a halt. Within her click of the fingers, they all dispersed nodding their heads. Only one person still trailed behind. A blonde, dressed in a pencil skirt and silk blouse rushed forward and held her office door for her.
"Thank you Sarah." The smallest of smiles stuck across Riddhima's face as she entered her office. Sarah quickly dumped her files on the table as she slid off the Louis Vuitton jacket form her boss's petite body. Riddhima sat down on her leather chair and signalled Sarah with her eyes.
Nodding her head, Sarah quickly dialled a number and waited for someone to pick up.
"Hello' yes hold on a moment." Sarah spoke hastily into the receiver.
"Here you go mam." Handing the phone over to Riddhima, she stood by the side.
"I hope you got it done." Riddhima gupta spoke finally, with the authority reflecting in her tone.
"Not bad Allen, done within an hour. I must say I am impressed." Her lips curved into a satisfactory smile as she hung up.
"Well Sarah, that's another one in the bag." Riddhima gupta referred to Sarah as she nodded back pleasantly. Getting up she grabbed her coffee cup and walked over to her high rise office window. The massive window overlooked the Thames and the London eye. Riddhima gupta took small gulps of her coffee as Sarah organized her daily files for her.

The frowns were very well visible on his face. Placing the file down, he scrunched his eyebrows as he rubbed his temples. The ginger hair fell just above his eyes. Slamming the file shut he arched back and lightly swung the leather chair sideways. His eyes shut momentarily as another voice came into existence.
"She got another one Adams." Chief walked in and flew a piece of paper on the table as he crossed his arms over his chest and stood expressionless.
"What is with this lady?" Adams scanned the paper as his face hardened all the while.
"Heck Chief, Another one' at the last moment' from the same guy!" His tone rose as he stood up slamming the leather chair into the cabinet.
"Calm down Adams, this ain't any way to handle this." Chief spoke in a calmer tone.
"Well it's about time; I paid RG a visit, right man." Adams crooked his face into a smile as chief returned a small smile as he exited.
Detective Adams walked around his table as he scanned the file again, adding the just acquired paper inside it, he flung on his overcoat and left the room.

"I am sorry sir, Miss Gupta is very busy today and seeing as you don't have an appointment, there isn't any possibility of you meeting her." The receptionist informed him with the plastered smile.
Without saying a word he flashed out his ID from his pocket and stuck it in front for her to see. The hesitation came flying back to her face as she swallowed down the saliva.
"Well sir, you still does not have an appointment so under company policy you can't meet her." She tried her best but his expression gave way.
Scanning her company ID he addressed her again, moreover in his harsh tone. "Well Miss O'Conner, if I can not enter in the civilised way - his face became void of any emotion as he spoke again ' I have other ways." He finished as the receptionist was already fumbling with the phone to inform her. Ignoring her, he walked towards the office door and as he clicked it, he knew she had been informed of his arrival. Her chair faced back to him as it squeaked gently. A blonde stood in the corner staring at him.
"Welcome Adams, what can I do for you?" With that he saw Riddhima gupta stand up as she walked towards him. He scanned her from top to toe. Seeing her in magazines, he had already admitted that she was an attractive woman, Thoughts raced through his mind. His eyes swallowed in her structures. The curves, the eyes' hell she was one sexy woman.
Riddhima could read the thoughts on his mind and chuckled slightly knowing the effect she was having on him.
"You were saying something?" Riddhima folded her arms across her chest.
He eyes instantly met hers and he inhaled deeply.
"Saying something? Well what about doing something miss gupta?" The shame had obviously abandoned him.
She chuckled again, "You are one fast detective." Her hair flicked from her shoulders as she walked back and sat on her chair. Signalling Sarah, she left nodding and Adams and Riddhima were left in the office.
"As I was saying detective, what brings you here today?" Riddhima made him a gesture to sit down.
"Thank you Miss Gupta." He sat down and slammed the file on the glass table.
Riddhima eyed the file and was very well aware of what was coming' she crooked a smile and relaxed back on the chair' she was ready for it.
Riddhima scanned the file and smiled again. Waiting for Adams to continue, she looked into his eyes as she found him already boring into hers.
"Well detective' I am waiting." Riddhima tapped her finger nails on the table top.
"Hmm' I guess I should Miss Gupta." He stood up and walked over to her window. Crossing his arms over his chest, he admired the view, inhaled deeply as he could tell Riddhima was anticipating what he was about to say.
"Firstly Miss Gupta, congratulations on the newly acquired project this morning." He crooked a smile. Turning around he was anticipating the look of surprise on her face, but indeed all he got was her usual radiant smile. Taken aback a bit he scrunched his eyebrows and continued' in his normal hard tone.
"Look lady, you have had us in riddles since a couple of months. I am going to get straight on to the point. All these contracts you have got, you have always got them at the last minute. Any normal person would find it a bit weird. Now care to shine any light on this. Moreover lady, all of them were supposedly going to go to ONE person. One person woman'!" he finished a higher tone than he started. His temper clearly rising. Riddhima's face was still that inevitable calm and subtle' the calm before the storm'

Part 2
"So Miss Riddhima gupta, care to acknowledge, why your so called contracts come to you at the last moment and that too 'snatched' form just one person." Emphasising on the words, he hoped he got the message across. Instead Riddhima Gupta remained unnerved.
"Well'?" She could tell he was getting impatient now but she decided to take it nice and slow.
Her top crunched up a bit revealing her cleavage. Riddhima gupta chuckled as she saw his eyes scanning her all over again, evidently showing signs of arousal.
Coming back to reality, he shuddered off her thoughts and in a tick was back to his role.
"Miss Gupta, look we both know what's happening here, now why don't you just make my job easy' for you and me?" His eyes bore deep into her as she looked away... unmoved.
"So you want me to make it easy for you' huh detective?" She arched a brow as he nodded back at her. "How about some fun first detective." The unclear meaning of her words confused him a bit as she stood just opposite of her.
Riddhima gupta sighed and got up. Walking over to him, she examined him form top to bottom. Well built, sculptured face' fine man.
"I asked how about some fun detective?" Riddhima traced her thin finger from his eye to his lower jaw bone. He stood as stiff as ever.
"I do not understand..." His voice cam as awhisper.
She chuckled "Oh i think you do detective."
He stodd their.. her fragrance wrapping his senses... she blew his ginger hair off his forehead.. he eyes shut momentarily... His senses weakening...
You trying to seduce me lady?" His jaw clecnched as He looked Riddhima in the eye.
"Oh m not just trying detective." She winked seductively as her long slender fingers waved magic on his chest. His muscles tightened as he looked at her again. She bent forward and ever so lightly grazing her lips on the nape of his neck. She felt him exhale and then take a sharp intake of breath. Instantly his fingers locked behind her back as he oulled her towards him.
Licking her neck her moved himself up and down her. Her face unmoved. She looked up to see him smile. "I am not going to complain lady!" He whispered frantically as her face reamied void of any emotions but the 'come hither' look intact in her eyes. He jumped on her like a hungry beast as he sucked her skin. Her back hit the table as he held her wrsits behind her back. He felt her struggle to get out of his grip but hell.. he was too aroused to let go now.. not now!!
Her struggle fazed after moments and then he heard her laugh... a shrill laugh.. He looked up to see her still leaning against her glass table... her smile crooked. He moved back...
"Just as i wanted detective!" Her eyes said it all... he gave her the chance and she took it... Adams face still remained still but the havoc inside was worse... much worse...
There was a knock on the door. Sarah walked in and handd riddhima a CD... She walked out as gracefully as she had come.
Adams knew what he had got himself into.
Riddhima tapped the CD case impatiently.. The look on Adams' face was all worth it...
"You kno what this is detective??" She eyed him up.
"I have a hunch miss!" His eye contach with her was breif but enough to let her see the helpness in his eyes.
"This" She tappoed the CD. "Is perfect evidence against you for a sexual assault against The Riddhima gupta." Her grin spread wider as he looked up at her. Adams' face drained of colur. His ginger hair fell against his eyes and he made no attempt to move them...
"You can't do that..." The hsaking of his voice made riddhima laugh. He knew she could but he wanted to think she oculdn't anyways.
"You watch me Detective!!" Ridhdima smirked. "Oh and by the way... How the newly wedded life going? I know your address... if you want i'll send mrs Adams a little present.." She waved the cd infront of him as he clenched his fists.
"I know what to do!" He spoke through gritted teeth.
"I know you do detective... Now Out!" She spoke with the sugary voice as always...
He turned around and reached for the door knob. "You'll pay for this RG!"
"Oh m sure i will detective but as off now... the ball's in my court and baby i kno how to play it!" Ridhdima flashed him her best smile as he made his way out swearing to get her back for this.
