The car zoomed through the crisscrossing rads.Inspite of being used to Dia's driving,Nupur clutched the seat strongly.The fastness intimidated me.Dia rolled her eyes when she saw her.

"Chillax babes!When was the last time I busted my car?"she asked.
Nupur sighed.
"I think it was week before last"she said chuckling.
Dia giggled.
"Wrong !!I scratched the bumper on Tuesday."
"Dia…"Nupur began.But her best friend cut her across.
"Anyways as I was saying Mom loves what you chose for Mayank's room.Its so unique."she said pressing on the accelerator.
Nupur fidgeted.She knew that Shilpa Aunty liked it but what about…
"And did you like it?"she asked Dia in a casual voice.
Dia smirked at me.
"I did!It is very nice."
Nupur took a deep breath counting her heartbeats before she phrased the next questions.
"And…"
"And?'Dia asked innocently raising her eyebrows.
Why was Dia doing this?She knew what I wanted to ask?

"Did ..did…did..he like it?"Nupur asked.
"He who?"Dia said,suppressing her laughter.
Just say his name…just say it casually.
"I was talking of ..of Ramu kaka."she said finally.
Dia actually slowed down.
"Ramu kaka?"she said as though the words were Greek.
"Your cook."Nupur supplied helpfully.
"My cook…"Dia spluttered."You want to know how Ramu Kaka liked Mayank's room.??"she said looking highly entertained.
Nupur raised her chin defensively and nodded.
Dia smiled choking back laughter.
'They both like it a lot.'she said winking.Nupur blushed.Dia acted as if she didn't notice and continued.
"Which reminds me Mom has given you a job offer.She wants you to decorate the new office we are building for Mayank."
Nupur sat up straight excited.
"Really?"
"Uh-huh.But I told her that you are too busy with Vicky S."Dia said,looking straight ahead.
"No.I am not busy.I am working part time for the next three months.I will decorate the office."Nupur said quickly.

Dia laughed happily.
"Thank you!Thank you so much Nupur.Love you."
Nupur stared at her.Dia kuch zyaada khush nahin ho rahi hai..

Before she couldn't ask it,Dia stopped the car infront of a fancy restaurant.Nupur stared at the indoors as they walked in.Years of insecurity made her nervous whenever she was exposed to crowds.She curled her fingers staring at the wall painting counting the number of red stripes on the first three.

"I wonder what I am doing here."she muttered.To her surprise Dia looked as dumbfounded as her.
"I don't know why Samrat wants to meet you."she said wonderingly."You didn't meet him in the party?"

Nupur shook her head.Dia shrugged and walked in.
"Hey Candy!"someone called from a nearby table.Dia turned and her entire face lit up.She looked extremely happy just to see him.Nupur wondered if there was mre to friendship here.She followed Dia's gaze and smiled.

Samrat was dressed in a green Tshirt and black jeans with a designer belt.He looked cute and sophisticated.Exactly Dia's type.
However as they moved closer Nupur noticed his haggard look.His eyes were drawn as though he hadnt slept properly.They were sparkling though.He had a mischeivous speculative look and he beamed as they went near him.
"Sammy..'Dia crooned as she hugged him.He laughed.
"Candy…Beautiful as always…"he said.
Dia stood back and flashed him a smile.Then she sobered.
"You look drawn out.Everything okay?"
He winked.
"Never been better."His eyes darted past her,to Nupur and then to the door.
Dia sighed.
"Hey…Sammy meet my friend Nupur."
Nupur smiled.She had a feeling she would like Samrat.The feeling disappeared as Samrat turned to her with a frown.

"You are Nupur??"he said in a disbelieving tone.
Nupur flinched.Could he see through me.??Can he see I am not normal..?
"Yes…"she said.
"No!Absolutely not."he proclaimed.
Nupur stared at him in surprise.
'Excuse me?"she asked.
"You arent Nupur.'
Nupur folded her arms.
"Oh yes I am and by god I can even prove it.What do you want passport or birth certificate?"
Dia laughed.Samrat smiled but he looked like a little boy who could die of disappointment.
"I meant you are not the Nupur I met."he said..The way he said Nupur was too affectionate.
Dia frowned.
'She was the only Nupur I invited."she said sharply.
Nupur glanced at Dia.She looked extremely cross.Her mood wouldn't improve in a while.Samrat on the other hand looked broodingly at the menu.He looked like he wished he could change Nupur into someone…maybe the Nupur he met.

Nupur sighed.This was not going to be a good lunch.

Gunjan's pov

Gosh Nupur can't even say his name!😆

And so the misunderstand about Nupur is cleared, Samrat knows that this Nupur wasn't the Nupur he met and danced with.

And poor Gunjan she didn'y wanted to be involved Samrat, but his dad made her the incharge for the trip. Hopefully love will start to blossom between Gunjan and Samrat during this trip.

Amazing chapter, no Mayank though. Anyway please.... update soon, can't wait for the next update.
