Anji: yeah, me too… wait a sec, why aren't we at the airport?
Atul: yeah… (looking up suddenly)
Ridz: because di, rahul will be leaving in 2 hours & we have work here
Muskaan: why 2 hours? He just left (hearing bits of the convo)
Ridz: he has gone to the hotel to meet sapna… they both will be leaving together…
Muskaan: oh ok… right…
Atul: I know what we should do now… we should go to the airport… (suddenly all woken-up)
Anji: yeah, sounds fun… lets surprise him… he must already be feeling low
Muskaan: low??
Ridz: don't you know? He is going coz his dad is ill…

The gang together: SURPRISE!!!!!!
Rahul: hey guys!!! You all here? Hi!!! (suprised but very happy)
Atul: I was missing you rahul so thought of suprising you… (hugging him)
Rahul: that's great… guys this is sapna… sapna this is atul, anji his fianc, riddhima…
Armaan: Sap she is the lucky one, my fianc (putting his arm around her)
Sapna: oh, right… nice to meet you riddhima (hugging her)
Ridz: nice to meet you too…
Rahul: & she is mus… muskaan… & muskaan she is…
Muskaan: sapna, hi… we already met in the hospital…
Rahul: yeah we did...
Sapna: yes, what a meeting… I know… hi… thanx once again for your help…
Muskaan: its ok…
The whole gang except rahul & muskaan are standing together & talking…
Muskaan: rahul, I… I wanted to talk to you… (looking down)

Rahul: yeah, that's why sapna came down…

Rahul: muskaan? (making her look at him)

Rahul: I love you… (completing her sentence for her)
Muskaan's head shots up quickly
Rahul: that's what I wanted to tell you & that's why I had come to the fire-escape… to tell you that… that I love you too…

Rahul: muskaan? I have always liked you, since… since the first time I saw you in…
Sapna: rahul? I guess we should leave… (interrupting their talks)
Rahul: yeah, just a bit… muskaan? I'll talk to you when I come back…

Rahul: what? (laughing) really? (controlling his laughter) muskaan? Sapna is my sister…
Muskaan: sister?? (embarresed, confused all at the same time)
Rahul: yes, come here… guys… I am sorry, i didnt introduce sapna properly if anyone of you doesn't know then this is Sapna… Sapna Rai my elder sister from Canada happily married to Amit Rai
Atul: oh… nice to meet you sapna… (holding out his hand)
Sapna gives a confused smile while shaking atul's hand…
Rahul: sapna? May I introduce you again to Dr. Muskaan Chaddha… my girlfriend…
AR: what? When? (together)
Rahul: (smiling) right now… right there (pointing to the place they were standing earlier)
Armaan hugs rahul & Ridz hugs muskaan, leaving everyone confused
Atul: can someone please explain to us illiterates whats going on? (pointing to himself, anji & sapna)
Armaan: champ, its simple rahul & muskaan love each other & they have confessed it…
Rahul: uh-huh, (nodding in a no) its only me who has confessed for both of us… muskaan has still not completed it…
Muskaan: I am not going to till you come back…
The gang starts hooting…
Rahul: don't do this to me please… (pleading her)
Muskaan: you come back then we'll see… (with one brow up)
The gang now laugh heartily on rahul's condition…
Sapna: ok, now can we go? Otherwise we'll miss our flight
Rahul: ok, bye guys… will miss you all too
Atul: too matlab?
Armaan: champ ab samajh… rahul sabse jyada muskaan ko miss karega phir time milega toh hume bhi miss kar lega, right? (smiling devilishly)
Rahul: bro?
Armaan: tune mere expense pe bahot maaze kiye hai mere bhai, ab meri baari hai, saari kasar nikalunga main, jitna tune mujhe riddhima ka naam le lekar taang kiya hai utna hi main karunga…
Rahul: (hugging him seriously) willl miss you, take care
Armaan: (becoming a bit serious) me too, tubhi apna khayal rakhna & call me as soon as you meet uncle…
Rahul: sure…
Rahul meets the whole gang & the gang proceeds forward leaving rahul & muskaan alone
Rahul: bye…
Muskaan: bye…
Rahul: abhi bhi nahi kahogi? (holding her hand)
Muskaan: uh-huh… I want to give you a reason to come back soon… I hope this one is enough… (looking at him with eyes full of love)
Rahul: enough? Its huge… I'll miss you… (hugging her & kissing her forehead) take care of yourself & I love you…
Muskaan: yes I will… you also take care of yourself… bye… & I'll miss you too…
Rahul smiles & leaves…
Armaan: chalo guys…
Ridz: muskaan are you ok?
Muskaan: yup…
Atul: guys… I & anjali have got some shopping to do we'll leave…
Armaan: sure, bye… enjoy
Ridz & muskaan : enjoy guys…
Armaan: chalo ladies… aapka driver tayyar hai…
Ridz: oh… nice… driver hum dono ko bahot bhuk lag rahi hai… koi ache restraunt main chalo…
Armaan: yes ma'am… oh by the way aapki coffee baaki hai Dr. gupta
Ridz: thanx for reminding me Dr mallik… I almost forgot…
Muskaan smiling at both of them : ok… guyss… you both carry on… I'll just go home…
Armaan: come on muskaan… chal na tp karenge…

Ridz: bye muskaan…
Armaan: bye bhabhi… (grinning)
Muskaan blushed at the word 'bhabhi'
Armaan: wah wah… rahul hota toh aur maaza aata… (grinning)

Armaan: riddhima? Kya hua? (probing her)
Ridz: armaan? Ab rahul yaha nahi hai so its better that we don't keep reminding her about him… (sadly)
Armaan: arre remind nahi karaenge toh kabhi bhul jayegi muskaan… (jokingly)
Ridz: I am serious armaan… (strictly)
Armaan: ok fine… I am sorry… I am sure muskaan will be enjoying it… atleast I enjoyed it when I was in delhi…

Armaan: umm, delhi main? Umm… tumhare haath ka khana…
Ridz: khana? (unbelievably)
Armaan: ha… after mom… you are the best cook in this world
Ridz blushes on this: thank you…

Armaan: tum bahot yaad aati thi… (sipping his cappucino)
Ridz: (blushing) aur? (looking at him expectantly)
Armaan: umm…
Ridz: humare late night calls? (shaking her head with a frown)
Armaan: yeah, right… kitna mazaa aata tha na tabhi? (smiling)
Ridz: ha… (smiling)
Armaan: hum abhi bhi waise baat kyu nahi karte?
Ridz: kyuki hum roz milte hai… thoda time toh freedom mile ek dusre se…
Armaan: freedom? Sochlo Dr. riddhima gupta… ek baar shaadi ho jayegi toh tumhe akela main nahi chodne wala… you still have time… think it over… (saying it confidently)
Ridz: yeah I'll do that… thank you for keeping my options open… (she is trying to irritate him)
Armaan: riddhima? Tum kabse mujhe itne seriously lene lag gaye… baccha main toh maazak kar raha tha… (tensed)
Ridz starts laughing loudly…
Armaan has a confused expession on his face…
Ridz: (controlling her laugh) I am sorry armaan… I am so sorry… baby… tumhara face… oh god… hmmm… armaan? I love you… you know that right?
Armaan nods
Ridz: then how can I think of not getting married to the person almost close to my dream guy??
Armaan: ohh… your dream guy?
Ridz: yeah, you are quite close…
Armaan: nice… well miss gupta how is your dream guy like?
Ridz: umm… he is sweet, cute, superbly handsome, has dimples, is a Dr. & has a great sense of style…
Armaan: wow… nice… but… I think I am not close but I acctually AM your dream guy…
Ridz: no… I am sure of it… you are just close bcoz… y dream guy is 6 ft tall… (smiling at his face)
Armaan: oh… well I am… 5ft 9…
Ridz: right…
Armaan: its ok… no one is perfect… wait a minute… are you getting married to me bcoz I am quite like your dream guy?
Ridz: umm… yes… I mean no… I … I dunno armaan… never really thought about it… i… I liked you the way your are & that's that…
Armaan smiles at her cute face trying to string the right words…
Ridz: what? Now you tell me about your dream girl…
Armaan: I never dreamed of a dream girl…
Ridz: really?? Boys toh jyada sochte hai apne wifes, gf's etc ke baare main…
Armaan: well yeah they do… but I don't think they must be so serious…
Ridz: whatever bolo na… I want to hear…
Armaan: umm, I wanted a girl who would respect my parents & love them the way I do… umm… looks descent… not overly fashionable… has a sweet smile & who has the ability to take care of me, handle me when I am in stress, cradle me when I have any fears… talk to me about anything & everything… love me most importantly… & at times jhelofy me… (laughing) umm, yeah most importantly… smile even when she doesn't like a person… because I have a really hard time doing that… I just cant make myself fake a smile or a conversation with the person I don't like… I guess that's it…
Ridz: woah… that was one long list…
Armaan nods in a yes…
Ridz: so how many thoughts of yours have I filled?
Armaan: umm, I guess all…
Ridz: you think so?
Armaan: I can answer this question well after we start staying together…
Ridz: ok… I'll be waiting for the answer…
Armaan: sure…
Ridz: armaan? That faking smile thing?? (confused)
Armaan: oh yeah… you know… I had this habit of locking myself in the bathroom… jab koi aise log ghar pe aate the jo mujhe pasand nahi hai toh I used to just say hi & lock myself in the loo or bathroom…
Ridz: what?
Armaan: yes, I used to do that & not come out till they used to leave… I used to find it very difficult to talk to such people…
Ridz: & now? You still do that?
armaan: no, not really… acctually I used to do this till I was in college then I got busy with my internship & everything… so I hardly used to be at home…
Ridz laughs : you are unbelieveable armaan…
Armaan smiles at her…
Ridz: chalo lets go…
Armaan: lets take a walk on the beach, shall we?
Ridz looking at the watch : 5 mins
Armaan & ridz hold hands & walk in silence as the sun went down…
