Komzie, my dear sister! I'm finally going to comment on part 3 (after reading it twice with a ton of distractions in between), and I daresay this is going to be long. Nice and novel-like, as you said yourself. This is only a prediction, so let's see how it ends up. I'm going to try doing what I call a RCP - "running commentary post" - derived from the one episode where Anjali, Ridzie, and Shashank were watching "Father of the Girl" ("Thanks for the movie, dad! Aapki running commentary bahut acchi thi!" or something like that). Here goes.
(Edit: Okay, this is Part 1...)
Atul-Anjali and coffee:
Awwwww! You know how much I love this part, but now for the details.
"Good morning Dr. Joshi" - *sighs happily* He's not just a doctor, he's Oncology Head! Anjali calling him Dr. Joshi is one of the cutest things I can imagine, complete with a smile on her face.
"Atulll!" LMAO. Anjali's crestfallen face, and Atul's shocked reaction, "Haaan???" 😆 😆 My god, Komz. You are a pro at dialogue writing. I can literally hear everyone's voices every time!
"Haan yaar." So sweet, she always delivers coffee in the morning at precisely 10:30 - that's Dr. Anjali Gupta (oops!) Joshi, all right! And Atul would naturally have grown accustomed to hearing her footsteps every morning, since he loves her so much. The casual way that Atul responds to her is so cute. I imagine he is frustrated/worried about Muskaan and just tired in general...I can completely understand how he feels...
The conversation about Muskaan and Khushi made me tear up, too. Even though we don't know much about Muskaan's current condition, it makes my heart ache for Rahul, Muskaan, and Khushi. I can't wait to find out more about this. The way that Atul and Anjali discuss the case is so touching - both of them consider Khushi as their own, and seeing Muskaan like this for so long...Where is Rahul? What happened in the past?
Kunal-Khushi and Muskaan:
Khushi thinking out loud, with Kunal eavesdropping, how cute is that! "Cracko" is so funny; I honestly love reading their interactions, they're always so witty, trying to outdo each other! Kunal's "no dating, only flirting!" funda is hilarious! He's beyond both Atul and Anjali on that one! (Anjali and her boyfriends, haha, I still can't get over how incredibly cute that scene was) LOL, Kunal and the nurse "Not my sister" with Khushi fuming next to them...Ahaha, poor "Not my sister" has no idea why Khushi got so mad at her!
"WOH waala pyaar..." Hmmm. Now there's confusion, eh? Very interesting and very cute. This caught my attention: "Aur phir...Itni young age mein, jo mere saath hua uske baad..." What happened? Does it have something to do with Rahul-Muskaan, or is it about Khushi herself? I suppose only time will tell. But I'm mighty curious about this.
Lekin mujhe hamesha se aisa lagta tha ki uss ke liye koi toh hogi jo sabse special hogi. Ab woh koi kaun hai aur kahaan hai, yeh toh Rabba ji ko hi pata hai. Par pata nahi kyun... dil chahta hai ki woh koi... main hoon...
This is the sweetest part by far. Awww!
(Is there room for a potential triangle here? My imagination and wishful thinking...*sigh*) Khushi is just so utterly adorable always!
Break time!
It took me a while to remember whose children the other interns were, LOL! I like these parent-children interactions; they serve as good memory-joggers for me, haha!
"Bachha party" - ROFL! That was the best phrase ever. I am going to use that if I ever get a chance, in my writing or whatever. LOL! Saksham and Armaan, two peas in a pod.
Awweeh, Kunal and Riddhima share such a lovely bond as well. How sweet.
LOL, Kunal is so strange at times...That evil laugh was just too funny!
Honestly, with Atul around, everything is just so happy-happy (to quote Uday bhaiyya!) and I love it!
"Beta... time mile toh mere office mein aajana. General check-up toh main bhi kar sakta hoon tera."
Ahahaha, I love Atul. This would be the best sequel to DMG, I swear. Plenty of RM and AA to keep the two of us happy! 😉 Atul and Mehak once again, loved it! Atul is such a great father...I really like how he is so cute, even when giving advice - "Relaxed? Good. Ab bolo."
Atul-Anjali again:
Atul's turn to drop by! With flowers, how nice! And she could hear him talking to the flowers all the way down the corridor, haha!
"Woh aise, my dear sweet husband..." *faints* Dying...dying...Haaye, how adorable! See, this is exactly why AA must get married in the show! They have the potential to be one of the sweetest couples ever!
"Atul, maine SAHI SE khaana banana seekh liye tha remember?"
LMAO! Classic line right there! God, I hope this actually happens in the show too! Thank you for bringing this up, Komzie! *laughs* I wonder if Atul helped her out in the kitchen during those days when she was learning to cook edible food...
"Atulll... tumhaari nahi toh kiski date banoongi?" (smiles and offers him her hand and he accepts it while placing a gentle kiss on it)
*faints again* How much cuter can Atul and Anjali get?! Truly...It can't get much cuter than this...Well, I have a feeling that you're going to prove that they can.
Goshdarnit, I'm not even close to finishing, Komal! You asked for it...
I'll comment on the AMAZING Rahul-Muskaan FB in the next installment of this novelesque comment. Stay tuned! Much love to you, sis!
PS - How (and WHY) do you write so well, Komz?! I don't know what I'll do for Part 4...
