Phewww..finally u updated...and for a part like this every wait is worth...thank u...

strait to the part..short yet one of the most crucial one..so many intricacies and underlying plots...Aman kher...this new character sounds quite intriguing and it surely hold a string on Armaan and his family's past..there is definitely something b/w Armaan's mother but then why she wouldn't hav allowed him to do operation on Minnieand this Dr. Kher and Armaan's relationship with him is so disturbed and turbulent..I am not sure but definitely this Dr. Kher has some right over Armaan..he kind of hinted at the fact...

I loved the washroom scene where Armaan is trying to calm his nerves and prepares himself for the fight ahead. but there is also a kind of stubbornness to prove himself better that that Dr. Aman...this scene also gives the idea that it will not be easy time for AR ahead,

Btw Armaan said Dr. kher is second person in his hate list...so who is the first one?...

I am really feeling sorry for Minnie .i prayed that it won't be her but as it is i now just wish for her safety...she will get well soon under Armaan's care...

And WHAT? u r going to updat 2 morrow???????? my head is spinning.but i will be the happiest person if u did...this time too much wait will just kill me. . . .this part hav left too many big questions to wait for too long.

Another question ...does Armaan's mom is a doctor? if not they why he is so frequent comer to that hospital or it has something to do with that Dr. Aman Kher?

Wow ... this is like a total new angle to Armaan's story so far. Thanks a bunch for the update. Waiting to read more :)

^^ so you've got most details right Roshni, but I wanted to correct you on this one, its not Armaan's mother, but the Dean who has not allowed Aman to operate on Minnie. Why - will be answered in time, but hint is that he is disallowed on ethical grounds. =)

^^ Oh I like how you correlate that trait in his character with tough times ahead for AR - two stubborn willed people together can never be easy peasy, yeh?! 😆

^^ Yup, she's a doctor. There was reference to the same in the previous chapter, when Armaan misses the call from home and decides it couldn't be his mother cause she'd either be home sleeping, or in an emergency. And further in this chapter, when he plans to use his mother's reference to get into the OT wing, and yet again, when Aman tells him how the Dean would not allow him, or his mother to operate on Minnie.

Anyway, so to address your speculation above - well it wasn't Minnie calling him per se, but a call from his home to inform him about Minnie's fall - which would be Shehnaz Bi, since his mother's been in the hospital with Minnie without leaving her for a moment, as Aman told him.

^^ you're quite on track Aliya - now would you guess what version on emotional attachment he could have to ethically dis-allow him from surgery?! 😎


I wanted to add to one of your other readers points about Armaan's need to show people what he is capable of (ego basically i guess) shows up in the last paragraph where he is determined to display his maturity on the issue at his hands to Dr Kher. Which begs the question why is it he feels he has to show he can do that to Dr Kher particularly? (which i know you will answer in the upcoming, may i add, very surprisingly early update coming ahead)

^^ I'm glad you're picking on the right points and questions to ask. It was the idea of doing single situation updates, because too many don't really leave you that much energy, yeh?! So Armaan's need to show people is also somewhat, a very male trait, as a generic statement, plus let's not forget at the end of the day, he's only a 21 year old undergrad. He can be smarter and mature for his age, but he can't be an equivalent to a real adult, right?! He's the perfectr age to feel like he's grown up and good enough to go, but still make all the probable mistakes of being but mentally an adolescent. Which would explain why someone as focussed and sensible as him spent his bus ride broodiung than working out a plan. It's the inevitable with the rather mild sense of responsibility in his age, as opposed to the counter advantage Aman shows, given his decade plus seniority.

And to answer your other question, formally I'm only a high school graduate on English?! Lol! Given that I'm an engineering graduate and a Ph.D. candidate in Applied Physics now! They don't seem to care so much about our English/ or linguistics as such, with only lasers to talk to, in my lab 😆 but thank you very much - it makes me happy to be mistaken for something else too! ☺️

Everyone - just to leave a quick note here, so I still intend to post the part like I said yesterday, but I do have some annoyingly essential but jaded routine errands to run for this evening after work. And then pack in the night for my next fortnight of travel. So just in case you don't see the update tonight, you can be sure it will be there at max by tomorrow evening. That's like my extra delay limit to the max. Meanwhile - very encouraged by the quick replies, so shall keep my word
