Part 3

Riddhima started walking. What else could she do? She was lost. No map. Just her. All alone. No matter what, she couldn't forget those blue eyes. Oh god! Those drop dead gorgeous eyes. And the guy wasn't any less. He was one SMOKING piece of work. But she didn't know anything about him. She didn't even know his name. One thing was for sure she would never forget him because he totally saved her life.
Her hair was a mess. She sniffed his jacket. They smelt great. "Oh shit!" she remembered she had his jacket. She couldn't even return it to him. She had no idea who he was. Well whoever he was, he was her savior.

Riddhima was tired. She was probably going in circles. She had no money. She was in trouble. She had been lost for what felt like hours. And the heat was killing her. The jacket was heavy and hot. But she had to put it on. After all, her clothes were ripped.
It was KARMA. Riddhima knew it. It was for dumping him. She didn't even feel bad. In fact she almost forgot about him.
"Gah!" She jumped as she felt a hand on her shoulder. She spun 180 degrees around to face him. Her savior. Her blue eyed stranger. She felt relieved. She ran to him and hugged him.
Armaan looked at her. She was a crazy girl. First she's hanging by a cliff and now she's roaming around all over the place.
"Ummm' what's your name?" Armaan snapped her back to reality.
"Riddhima. Riddhima Gupta. You?"
"Armaan." He smiled, his dimples showing.
"Got a last name?" Riddhima looked in his eyes. His blue eyes.
"Oh. Armaan Malik." He looked up. "You lost?" He looked at her obvious eyes and nodded then asked sweetly. "Need a lift?"
She nodded helplessly. Armaan smiled at her. She was cute.
"Let's go I'll drop you. Where are you going?"
"St. Xavier's college or something'" She hopped on back of his bike and put her arm around his waist.
"Hey I go there too. Are you knew?" He turned around a corner.
"Yup." she paused and then continued. "Hey I'm sorry about earlier. I was pretty rude to you. Thanks for saving my life and all." She babbled.
He chuckled. "No problem." He continued. "Hey and next time be careful ok?" He stopped his bike.
"Hey why'd we stop?" She looked at him.
"We arrived." He bowed.
"Oh." She turned a shade of pink. She hopped off the bike and left him mumbling a small thanks.

"Hey. Hi. I'm Riddhima Gupta. I'm here to pick up my schedule." She looked down at the nervous lady shuffling her papers.
"Ahh. Riddhima Gupta. New right? Well here." She handed her a schedule. A map of school and several pamphlets.
"Thanks." Riddhima smiled and turned to find a ladies room. She fixed her hair. Washed her face. And applied a fresh coat of lip gloss that was in her left pocket of her skirt. After she felt she looked appropriate enough she left.

Riddhima arrived to class. Everything went smoothly except for a couple of people who kept staring at her when they thought she wasn't looking. Everything was going great until she met her. This girl who thought she owned this school. Well it was partly true because everyone worshiped her or some thing but that gave her no right to speak to Riddhima in such a rude way.

This is how it happened'

Riddhima was just minding her business looking for her next class when she heard laughter. She went through the corridor where a crowd had formed. She pushed her self through the crowd to see two girls. One girl who was almost in half tears and one who was looking at her manicured fingers rolling her eyes.
"Look you know what you shouldn't be sorry I should. That you were ever worthy to even talk to me. You like gained over 20 pounds over the summer and you think you'll be able to perform with me?" She shuddered. "A cheerleader has to be hot and skinny. Not wide and fat." She flipped her flawless hair over her shoulder. "Now stop begging. And I hear Mr. Sharma wants to talk to you. If you know what I mean. I think he realizes you're too fat and he'll dump you too. Yes everyone! She's been having a fling with the history teacher who's married with three kids. How disgusting!" She paused for the Ooooh's and then smirked. "Let's go girls!"
"Hey wait!" Riddhima's voice appeared over the crowd. She stepped in front of her and spoke. "Say sorry. You were a total bit** to her." Riddhima looked at the girl crying on the floor. She had no idea who the girl was but she felt like it wasn't her fault. She'd met plenty of people to know her type.
"Excuse me. And who the Fu** are you to tell me what the hell to do?" She snapped at Riddhima.
"Not like you cause I wouldn't stoop so low." Riddhima turned and help the girl on the floor up and took her to the restroom.

"Here." Riddhima consoled the girl and she helped her wipe her mascara eyed tears. She finally stopped crying and looked up at her.
"Thanks but you didn't have to do that. I can't believe she was ever my friend. She was so sweet to me and after the summer I spent time with Rajeev so she got jealous and then this happened." She wiped her eyes and tried to clear her face by washing her face.
"But what was about the thing with the teacher?" Riddhima asked curiously.
"I don't know she made that up. That's what Anjali Gupta can do to you."
"Wait what?" Riddhima screeched. "Anjali's my sister."
"What? You guys cannot be related." She narrowed her eyes.
"No. She's my step sister. But how? She's supposed to be like' you know nice." Riddhima paced the room.
"Look Riddhima, I've known her for 4 years. She's the Anjali Gupta." She jumped off the countertop and placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Hey, Sonia you ok?" Riddhima looked at her.
"Yeah. A little better. But my life is ruined and I'll never be able to fix that." She chuckled at her situation. Where they once used to be best friends she now was her enemy. Just goes to show never trust anyone.

Riddhima saw Armaan on his bike chatting with a few friends. She stepped up in front of him and said, "Hey, I'll return the jacket tomorrow okay?"
"Yeah' hey you got a ride?"
"Well, I was supposed to ride with my sister but turns out she's a total bit** so yeah that'll be nice." She smiled.
"Hop on." Armaan patted his bike.
They got on and rode off.
"Hey so I heard you got in a fight with Anjali." He looked back at her.
"No not really. She was being rude to Sonia so I said a few stuff and now she hates me." Riddhima smiled and shook her head.
"That's it. And here I was thinking you guys ripped each other's face out. Silly me."
"Yeah and I had no idea she's my sister." Riddhima hugged his waist tighter.
"What? If she finds out she'd freak!" He exclaimed.
"Wait! She doesn't know?" Riddhima asked.
"Not that I'd know of." He waited. "Hey you're home." He stopped his bike.
"How'd you know where I live?" She got off.
"Anjali. Go. She'll freak out. Good luck!" He smiled and went off'
Riddhima thought how she could fee so comfortable with a complete stranger'

Okies, so here's part 3. You guys probably expected Anjali to be different but here she is. I haven't introduced Nikhbi & RM but I'll probably do in part 4...
