Part 4

Nupur went into her apartment with a big smile on her face. She went directly into the washroom and got all freshed up and then went directly into her closet and changed into her pj's. all this time she had one thought in her head – MAYANK. She wasn't able to think or rather find a solution to the –"why did he hold my hand and why did I hold his' and 'why didn't I want to let go of him?' she was surrounded by all these questions in her head to which she thought no one had answers…..but deep inside her she herself knew what was going on….she finally laid on her bed.

(Mayank)

he had never been soo happy after a party. He had a humungous smile on his face.

He ran and landed straight on his soft bed and laid there thinking about nupur……he wasn't able to sleep ….and now he wanted 'the time' to take bigger steps ahead so that he could meet nupur and spend time with her…………he was up all night thinking about her and as the sun started shining in the sky he got out of his bed with that huge smile still stuck to his face and then got ready to go jogging. He took more time than usual in getting ready…he wanted everything to go perfectly… he kept on checking his hair…it had to be perfect today….today IS REALLY A NEW DAY-he thought…..and with this thought he got out of his apartment hoping to see nupur ready and waiting for him at the lift….

As mayank stepped out of the house he saw the corridor completely empty as usual….he wasn't very pleased at the sight of this ….he waited 30 minutes but there was no sign of nupur….and don't forget he had been waiting since last night for her……he couldn't wait any more so he took courage and walked towards her apartment. With much patience he waited outside her apartment after ringing the door-bell twice……which ended up being four times. He got really worried and wanted to find out whether she was ok or not….he got extremely worried and tried to open the door himself and the door opened….J

(some ppl might not know this but a lot of ppl in the US keep their house doors open…lol)

nupur on the other hand, after thinking much about mayank went fast asleep….she forgot to set the alarm and was still lost in her dreams….and to her surprise she was with mayank in her dream….but then suddenly samaira woke her up in her dream and that's the same time when mayank entered in reality(I know this is sort of complicated but yea…I hope you get it..lol)

mayank entered her house and started to look for her everywhere and then finally saw her SLEEPING on the bed with her covers off. Though she forgot that she had to go jogging with him , he couldn't get mad at her…she looked so peaceful in her sleep ….she had a serene and soothing smile on her face which eventually disappeared …or actually got converted into a very irritated one as she dreamt that samaira had just woke her up…

nupur(talking in her sleep and was very irritated)- samaira ….kya hai ??itna acha sapna dekh rahi thi main!!

Mayank was confused and didn't know what to say….he waited and then said..

M – WO…NUPUR..

N – teri aawaz ko kya ho gaya hai….mayank jaisi lag rahi hai.(she chuckled)

M – umm..nupur…?

N – actually….teri galti nahi hai…kal hi wo mujhe mila tha aur tab se uske allawa aur kuch socha hi nahi jaa raha….(she then blushed at what she just said)

Mayank who was standing there confused too blushed on hearing that..

N – tu udher kya kar rahi hai samaira..???idhar aaja aur thodi der so jaa aur mujhe bhi sonede…

Mayank was standing close enough so nupur quickly grabbed his hand and made him lie on the bed next to her and they became soo close that mayank almost skipped a beat…..

Nupur – you need to wax samaira ….aur tera haath bhi mardo jaisa haath lag raha hain.!(she chuckled again)

She kept his hand around him and they both were facing each other and were so close that someone else might have thought that they were about to kiss!nupur had no idea wat she was doing as she was still dreaming…and she continued to speak..

Nupur – ab please mujhe thodi der sone de kyunki mujhe fir mayank ke saath…..(and as she remembered that she had to go jogging with him she opened her eyes wide open but when she did this…to her surprise mayank was right in front of her and that too soo close…..she was speechless ….and they both stared at each other for a really long time….

They both got flown along with the wind….and mayank started coming even closer to her….nupur shut her eyes..(sort of like the ice-cream scene)…..they were almost about to kiss when the doorbell suddenly rang….they both hesitantly looked in the opposite direction and after taking preferably enough time to think mayank got up and walked towards the door ..

M – main dekh ke aata hoo….

N – thnx…(and then nupur said cursing herself..'wat am I saying….thnx??…L)

M –umm…yea sure…

They both were still confused…as in what to do ….mayank was secretly cursing the person at the doorJ

As mayank opened the door, he was surprised to see amit standing there…

M – amit…..??tu yaha kya kar raha hai??

A – well….tu ne toh mera sawaal copy kar liya…..waise main pehle tujhe answer de deta hoon….main yaha kuch karne nahi aaya tha main toh waha(pointing towards manyank's apartment) kuch karne aaya tha…(he said this very sarcastically…)

Then he continued…

A – jaha per tujhe hona chahiye tha waha per maine 15 minute tera wait kiya per fir maine socha ki kal do baje tak dance karne ke baad kahin tu apne 'sweet neighbor' ke paas toh nahin aa gaya….aur fir with this thought mujhe yaha hi kuch karne aana padha..

M (embarrassed)- dekh tu amit…(pointing towards him)

But then nupur entered suddenly..

N –(interrupting mayank)mayank, kaun hai..?

Then saw amit and pulled him inside and shut the door

N – mayank..itni der se bechare ko bahar khadha kar ke rakha tha…

A – its ok my darling! I will bear with this atyachaarJ(he said sarcastically)

Mayank qickly said- stop flirting around with nupur , amit!

And btw nupur…he is definitely not a bechara…J

Amit could clearly see that his dear friend had totally fallen for nupur…he had a big smile on his face with the thought of this and now very seriously continued..

A – ok ok! Sorry man….now stop being possessive with nupur(nupur blushed with the possessive part while it got mayank to look downwards with his eyes)and listen to me very carefully….my dad wants us to go to brazil for a week to attend the part week which they have over there and basically what we have to do is judge them, criticize them and have fun….(he winked looking at nupur and said) you can come too if you want to….(and then made the cute puppy face)

N – oh no..i am sorry amit but it is impossible for me to come…I have work here and I cant just take off for a week…

A – that's fine……(but then he looked at mayank)

Mayank had no choice but to say yes and the reason for this was that it was amit's dad's command, which he couldn't refuse at any cost.

M – yea…I'll come if pa wants me too…(he called him pa as he was like his dad… mayank always thought that he was better than his real dad and he definitely loved him more)

A – ok…done then! We leave from tomorrow morning's flight!!I'll book the tickets..a(and he left)

Mayank and nupur were both confused as in what to say after the bed incident..ahemJ

M – I guess I'll be going now….gotta get ready for work..

Nupur smiled as an approval to what he said.

N – yea..i better get ready too…..

M – ok …so see you some time later..?

N – oh yes..

Mayank again gave her that tingly sensational cute hug!!!and then began to walk out towards the door…..and before stepping out he remembered something so he turned back towards nupur…

M – umm…nupur..?

N – yea…mayank..?

M – actually…I thought that we should exchange phone numbers…just in case..don't you think..?

N – oh yea…that's a good idea to keep in touch…

(but both of them were talking stupid according to me cuz they live in apartments which were opposite to each other…lol)

they both finally exchanged their numbers and mayank walked out leaving a very excited nupur…..they both got ready and went off to work at their respective times……..
