(Mayank at his office)[btw I am introducing mayank's friend amit tandon here…]

mayank- I am fed up of this amit! I am tired of attending these stupid parties!

Amit- mayank I know..but please can you do this for me one last time??!

(he made the cutest puppy face)

mayank- stop doing that with your face amit and come to the point(he said angrily)there is never one last time…..

amit- well..this time it is…I have to introduce you to someone very very special.mayank I want you to be there. I promised that u will be the first one to meet her (making the puppy face again)

mayank –ok…fine….one last time!

Amit – thank you soo much yaar!!and gave him a bear hugg!!

Mayank- ok dude!! But now get off me!

Amit- oh sorry..

At the party!

Mayank had a drink in his hand (which wasn't alcoholic …cuz he doesn't drink)

And he was standing there with amit and had a really irritated look on his face.

Mayank-Amit how much longer are you gonna make me wait here for that very special person??

Amit- I am so sorry dude….u know girls…but don't worry …she'll be here any minute now!!

(amit said pleading once again)

they keep standing there for a few minutes…and then…

a girl wearing a really hot red cocktail dress

with a stunning pair of red heels walked excitedly towards amit and gave him a huge huge hug and a big kiss on his cheek and which he too returned .AND this girl was none other than nupurrr!!!

Mayank was so happy to see her there !the disinterested look on his face completely changed when he saw her but then the smile disappeared from his face.firstly,because she didn't even notice him and secondly he felt really uncomfortable when she went too close to amit and thirdly, she kissed him!mayank couldn't think right…he himself didn't know why he was feeling that way and not to mention that now his day was really a new day!it had all these surprises which really confused mayank.

Nupur- omg!!!amit wat a lovly surprise!!why didn't you tell me you were here in Miami???

Amit-first of all, the lovely surprise is u my darling!and what do u mean by –you didn't know I was in Miami.

Mayank was listening to the whole conversation and thought what a flirt his dear friend was…..he was really feeling left out and he didn't like the other three feelings either..L

Mayank-ahem ahem…

Nupur- oh hi mayank!(she said in a very surprised tone)I've got two lovely surprises now!!

Mayank blushed(lol)

Amit – you know mayank??

Mayank- of cource she knows me(he said rather quickly)……we are neighbors in fact..

Nupur – oh yess we are!!he's really sweet!

Mayank blushed again but hid it and said

m- u are really kind….btw how do u know amit(he asked curiously)

a- I was hoping that u would ask me that question cuz I was ur best buddy but I guess you are closer to ur 'neighbor'(he joked)

n- (interrupting amit)oh! So now u've got a new best buddy(she said in a very disappointed tone)

a-no!no!I meant second best buddy!(he said trying to cover up his mistake)

m- best buddy..??

n- he never told you about me…?

M – well…he prolly did but I guess I forgot..(trying to help his helpless friend)

N – we both were best friends since college….well actually samira, amit and I were.

M – that's cool…

A – which reminds me…where the heck is samaira??

N – oh she went to the washroom…u don't worry!

(she said teasing him)(but amit went toward the washroom area and waited for samaira outside leaving mayank and nupur together)

n – so…

m – ummm…would you like to dance..?

n- sure!!I love dancing!!

Mayank- after you!

And they both walked towards the dancing area……..

A slow music was playing and they danced along….he had one hand around her waist and the other holding her hand !!he was on cloud 9…..he had started to feel things which he had never ever felt before …but he didn't care at that time cuz he was lovin it!!

Nupur too had the butterflies flying in her stomach…..she was flown along with the cool breeze and the dim lights …she had reached a place which made her completely complete….and without paying much attention she quietly placed her head on his chest and continued to dance.

As she put her head on his chest he reached on cloud 9 10 11 12!!idk where but this was the best night of his life till now and he was completely sure about that!they kept on dancing as if no one was watching and as if they were the only ones who were present there………….

But there were two people who were watching them really closely all this time and it was none other than amit and samaira. They both were shocked at the sight of them like that because they knew that neither mayank nor nupur liked to dance(yes nupur didn't like it lol) they both were confused.

It was 2:00 am in the morning and STILL they were dancing !!!!!it was seriously off limits!!the whole party area was almost empty so amit finally decided to go and get them.

Amit- mayank…

(no response)

a – nupur..??

(no response)

amit – hello any body there

(no response)

finally he shook both of them..

amit- welcome back to the real world!

Nupur- shut up amit ! and let us dance!

Mayank – yes amit shut up!

Amit – wow….mayank tujhe kabse party mein raat ke do baje tak rehne ki aadat lag gayi??

Mayank(embarrassed) – amit…

Nupur(interrupting)- kya do baj gaye????I have to go to work tomorrow!!oh no!!

Mayank- don't worry nupur….main tumhein ghar drop karta hoon..

And they both leave without even saying bye to amit and samaira..L

Amit- aaj kal to bhalai karne ka zamaana hi nahi raha(disappointed )

They both also go home

Amit was really disappointed as mayank hadn't met that special person yet…..

guys...this is going to be a short update but i promise that i will be updating in a few hours and please do tell me how the story is going......😃

Part 3

Even though it was two a.m. in the morning neither mayank nor nupur were feeling tired. As if they didn't want time to take one step ahead……. As if they wanted the time to just stop right there with both of them wrapped around each other's arms. And they didn't mind if they had to take dancing as an excuse for it…..

Finally after a silent short walk to the car park they reached their destination- mayank's car. He kept his respectful and cute behavior alive and opened the door for her to sit. He gave her a hand and sweetly helped her in. just the feeling which they both got when their bodies touched each other intentionally or un-intentionally was confusing to both of them but It wasn't like they minded it but it simply was different to them. It created a tingly sensation in both of them as if they both were each other's teenage crushes.

Finally mayank started the car. The ride was rather silent but their silence spoke a million words. All the moments they spent with each other went by soo fast which they both didn't appreciate. But they tried to console themselves by the famous quote-'good things come to an end'. With this mayank quickly ran out the door to open the door for nupur. And they got another chance of feeling each other and live with that sensation for as long as they possibly could. Mayank was in love! And so was nupur!but they were unaware of it… It was all going on so fast but still both of them were sure that it was right. They were sure that it was meant to be. It was so fast that it almost seemed like a fairy tale. But they both didn't care about how it seemed to be because they just wanted to take as much advantage of the time that they had left.

Surprisingly, or should I say it , mayank didn't let go off her hand after helping her get out. Nupur was assured somewhere in her heart that he felt the same way towards her as she did towards him. He got hold of her hand tightly so that she cudnt free herself. yet he didn't do it too tightly as he didn't want to hurt her. Nupur , too was on cloud nine with a million butterflies in her stomach and this time knowingly she clutched her other hand to both of their's and brought it close to her chest . as if she wanted to replace her heart with their hands holding on to each other. And they continued walking towards their apartments without uttering a single word. Their 'short lift ride' to the twentieth floor was rather frustrating to both of them. Their apartments were opposite to each other. So now it was time when they had to part. And separate. And this created a new emotion in both of them-separation. Nupur was somewhere in her own thoughts….this is going really fast …..i just met him today. She tried to tell herself that it was not right. She was having a huge battle between her heart and mind.

On the other hand, mayank wasn't able to think anything at that point of time. His mind was completely empty with no thoughts running inside his head. but he couldnt find the lonely feeling. As if it was playing hide and go seek with him. But unfortunately mayank lost this game as he was unable to find it within him.

Now it was time to say goodbye. Mayank slowly brought his hand down from her chest and they both, with much difficulty, let go of each other.but they kept standing their sharing an eye-lock. Then mayank slowly bend towards her and gave her a really loving hug which she returned. they both were wrapped in each other's arms. they had reached a completely different world now. It was a world which was created especially for them. But reality struck them rather quick. The lift door opened up again with the ting sound and they hesitantly let go off each other. Nupur realized that it was too late now so she was the one to finally step up and say in a very nervous tone…

Nupur – umm….tumhein nahin lagta ki ab humein ghar jaana chahiye..???(she ended her sentence in a very why-did-I-say-that tone)

Mayank(this was the first time he had heard her speak in hindi)- tum hindi kaafi achi bol leti ho!!(but he too ended his sentence disappointed as he had completely changed the topic about which she was talking about)

But then he quickly added-yeah , mujhe lagta hai ab humein jaana chahiye. Kaafi late ho raha hai.

Nupur – umm ….yes….good bye

Mayank – yea….see you later…?(he said expectedly)

Nupur – oh yes..definitely!

Then nupur turned in order to head towards the house. Somebody had to take the first step.

But then mayank quickly said- nupur ……would you like to go jogging together tomorrow??

This question really pleased her and she too quickly replied…yea sure!!

They both smiled and went to their respective apartments……..

Ok I'm the first one to post after ur third part...
OMG!!! Zoe what an amazing part.....I read ur 2nd and 3rd part alltogether
...U r an amazing writer....It was just so sweet....Specially the dance....they were so lost and the drive back home was magical
