Jay leaves…and Alicia locks the door…thinking what could hv made Rishi so late and she was scared to be all alone in a new city…She watches TV so she doesn't think about the fact she is all alone…when there is a knock on the door and she gets scared…

Alicia: who is it?

Part 12-

There is no reply but the knocking keeps on going…she is really scared and doesn't know what to do…She is getting really nervous and due to that she's sweating…finally after a while she gathers up her courage and opens the door and is shocked to see the person at the door…

Alicia: u here at this time…

Person: yes me…

Alicia: OMG ur all wet…come on in…what happened?

The guy comes in we get to see it's none other than Jason…

Jason: oh…nothing…I was outside walking down the streets thinking about u…when it started raining and I wished u were there with me…

Alicia: aww…that's so sweet

Jason: I know it is…

Alicia laughs and says: I'll get u a towel…

Jason is looking around the place…

Alicia comes back and gives him the towel…

Alicia: so did u just decide to take a shower in the rain?

Jason: yes…don't u know how fun it is?

Alicia: no

Jason: u mean to say u have never ever danced in the rain or just walk in it?

Alicia: no…I hate getting wet…

Jason: really

Alicia: really

He comes closer to her and shakes his hair so the water falls on her face…

Alicia: what r u doing?

Jason: getting u wet…

Alicia: no ur not and starts to run when he grabs her wrist and twirls her around so she's facing him…

Jason: Alicia I know that we don't even know each other for more than 24 hours but I think…

Alicia: u think…

Jason: I think that…

Alicia: that…

Jason: I think I'm falling in love with u…

Alicia shocked by what he said loosens his grips and move…

Jason: I'm really sorry if this is too fast for u but I was just telling u my true feelings...

Alicia too shocked to speak…

Jason: cum on say something

Alicia: I dun know wht to say…I mean ur going way to fast for me… I mean I like u and everything but I don't know if I wanna be committed…

Jason: fine…I'll be leaving…when u figure out…don't bother to tell me…and he starts to leave…

Alicia: listen to me…

Jason: listen to what…listen to the fact that the woman I love just likes me…and she doesn't wanna be wid me…

Jason leaves…

Alicia is left thinking and doesn't know wht to do…it has been more than 2 hrs and she finally decides to go to his apt.

She goes in the hall and bumps into someone in the hall but doesn't see who it is…anyway she reaches there and knocks on the door but there is no respond…she thinks he's not there…but then she hears voices she moves the door knob and the door opens…she enters and sees Jason making out with some girl…too shocked by what she sees…she accidentally knocks over a glass and it falls…Jason and the girl break their kiss…He looks at her…Alicia just leaves his apt. crying thinking how cud he do this…

Jason comes out and says: Alicia wait listen to me…

Alicia: listen to u…OMG ur such a jerk…I mean u just made me feel so guilty for hurting ur feelings and what do u do go with another girl…I came here to apologise to u but ur not even worth that...

Jason interrupts: it's not my fault

Alicia: its not ur fault…oh so u mean to say its my fault…I know all guys are like this trying to make it our fault make us feel guilty just to get rid of the blame and clear ur own conscience… I really thought maybe this cud be the real thing but u had to ruin everything didn't u…

He tried to hold her hands to make her calm down…

Alicia: don't u dare touch me ever again…and leaves

Jason is left there speechless…

She reaches her apt. crying and opens the door and slams it then she has her back to the door and burst into more tears and sits on the floor crying loudly…

Rishi hears it and comes outside and sees her crying…

Rishi: r u ok?

Alicia doesn't respond…

Rishi sits down in front of her and holds her face and says: plz tell me…what's wrong? Did I hurt u in someway…if I did I'm really sorry…

Alicia puts her arm around him and hugs him tightly…She felt like she needed someones support at this time and by being in his arms she felt safe and comforted…Rishi surprised by this gesture of hers doesn't know to hug her or not…he finally hugs her…after 15 minutes he realizes she stopped crying and is about to leave her when he notices she went to sleep…he picks her up and puts her on his bed…he puts a blanket on her…he looks at her and sees how peacefully she is sleeping…for the first time he feels attracted to her he thinks she's so beautiful and she is made for him…and only for him…he goes closer to her and kisses her lightly on her cheeks…he then goes outside and sleeps on the sofa…for the first few hours he is tossing and turning around but then finally he finds a comfortable spot and he goes to sleep…

Next Day-

Its morning in NY and the sun is coming through the window on Alicia's face…she gets annoyed and puts the pillow on her face…when an alarm rings…she turns it off…and she sits up and stretches her arm and realizes she is in Rishi's room and on his bed…she couldn't remember what happened yesterday night cuz she's too tired…she decides to get out of his bed…she sees Rishi outside sitting and read the newspaper…He looks at her and smiles…

Rishi: Good morning…did u sleep well?

Alicia: yes…but I hv a question

Rishi: I know wht ur gonna ask me…aren't u gonna ask me how u wounded on my bed?

Alicia: yes

Rishi: well…u were crying and then u hugged me…and then u went to sleep…u looked tired so I put u on my bed…and I slept on the couch outside…

Alicia: ok…

Rishi: btw I'm sorry for what I did in the morning…is everything ok wid u and that guy

Alicia then rembers wht had happened b/w her and Jason…she started to cry again

Rishi: oh God…I'm so sorry…I didn't mean to hurt ur feelings…

Alicia: oh u didn't do anything

Rishi: then

Alicia: well that guy cheated on me...just because we had a fight…

Rishi: I'm sorry

Alicia: it's actually fine…I hv learnt my lesson…

Rishi: u wanna eat something…

Alicia: sure…did u make something?

Rishi: I didin't make anything…

Alicia: oh…wht do u got to eat?

Rishi: well right now nothing…we're out of food…we'll go grocery shopping today…

Alicia: ok…so wht did u eat?

Rishi: I just ate the last slice of bread…

Alicia: oh…

Rishi: I was gonna go get coffee…u wanna go and grab something to eat there?

Alicia: sure…I'll change…btw r u going to NYU today…

Rishi: yeah…r u?

Alicia: yes...can u drop me…

Rishi: sure…

Alicia goes to take a quick shower…she thinks that Rishi is not a bad guy… in fact he's a pretty decent guy…he's just a bit hot tempered…She changes her clothes…she wears a red halter top with blue jeans and then she dries her hair…she comes outside…

Rishi: u ready?

Alicia: yeah…just let me grab my stuff…

Rishi: cool

She gets her stuff...

Alicia: u knw that now we're roomies and stuff

Rishi: yes

Alicia: I was wondering if we cud be friends

Rishi smiles and says: sure...friends and puts his hand towards her

Alicia while smiling shakes it and says: Friends...

Then they both head to the coffe house together…

Is this the beginng of a new friendship or something else?

Coffee House-

Alicia and Rishi enter the coffee house when Rishi gets a call so he excuses himself….
While Alicia is alone there she goes to the counter to order…
Alicia: I'll hv umm a…
When someone interrupts her and says: A white chocolate & strawberry streusel muffin with a Caramel Macchiato with skim milk and two spoons of sugar and extra whip cream on top…
The guy turns toward Alicia and its Jason…
Alicia totally mad at him says: wht the hell do u think of yourself?
Jason: a guy who did a mistake and is extremely sorry for ruining wht cud be the best relationship of his life…
Alicia: oh…shut up…I don't wanna listen to u…then she turns to the counter and says cancel that order I'll take one plain decaf coffee and a blueberry muffin and one regular coffee…
The girl @ the counter=G
G: anything else?
Alicia: that's it
G: It will be $7.95…
Alicia pays her and leaves from the counter…while Jason is following her outside…
Jason: oh how sweet…u got me coffee…
Alicia: its not 4 u…
Jason: then who is it 4?
Alicia: none of ur business…leave me alone…k
Jason: cum on give me a second chance…
Alicia: oh… u don't get any chance…at least from me…
Jason: At least listen to what happened…
Alicia: listen…listen to what…listen to the fact that just because we had a fight u went with some random girl…how abt this if u caught me kissing some other guy will u be able to forgive me?
Jason is left thinking…
Alicia: see u can't answer me…if u can't do it yourself then how can u ask me…I think this is it…bye…
Alicia leaves the coofee house wid Jason following her….
Alicia goes up to Rishi….
Alicia: I got u regular coffee…I didn't know what u wanted…is that cool?
Rishi: yeah…that's fine…so should we go now…
They both sit in Rishi's car and leave…
Jason sees that and thinks so she has moved on…fine good for her…I will move on too…

NYU-

Rishi and Alicia reach NYU…They both get out of the car…
Rishi: I'm going to my class or else…I'll be late…bye...but I'll drop u at home tonight...k...
Alicia: thx...bye
Alicia now heads to the registration center…she sees a lady sitting @ the registeration counter...
Lady @ the regestration: L
Alicia: Hi…I'm new here…and I was wondering where can I get my i.d. card from?
L: oh…u get it from here…what is ur last name?
Alicia: Sexana
L: are u Alicia Sexana?
Alicia: yes…
L: there u go?
Alicia: thnx a lot…
She then heads toward her drama class…
She enters the theater…there are groups of girls and guys sitting together…she goes there and finds an empty seat and sits there… it was a small class and had abt 30 people in it…
The teacher comes in and he is a pretty old drama teacher…he is in his late 40s or something…he has white hair…wears glasses…he is pretty strict abt acting…his name is Prof. Jackson…

Prof. Jackson: Good morning everyone…I am happy to see u all here…so lets start our day w/ u guys rehearsing ur scene w/ ur partners…If u need help I'll be right here…
Everybody starts working w/ their partners…Alicia is left alone…so she decides to go up to the teacher to ask him…
Alicia: hello…I'm Alicia and I am new in this class so I don't hv a partner…
Prof. Jackson: Hi…nice meeting u…well why don't u go sit …
A beautiful girl comes in wearing a pink tank top w/ a blue jeans mini skirt…she has black colored hair and has green eyes…
G: Good morning sir…I'm soory I was late u know the stupid traffic…
Prof.Jackson: Miss. Anjali Sinha u hv been coming late to this class almost since the beginning of this semester so I'm used to it…anyways now that u are here…meet Alicia she is new here and is going to be ur partner in this class…
Anjali: but
Prof. Jackson: no buts…now ladies get to work…
Alicia and Anjali go and sit down…
Alicia: Hi…I'm Alicia
Anjali: Hey…I'm Anjali…so did u move here?
Alicia: yeah…I just moved from L.A
Anjali: really
Alicia: yes
Anjali: that is so cool…I hv always wanted to live there…I have heard that u see famous celebrities practically everyday…
Alicia: yeah…u do sometimes…
Anjali: so is this the first time ur taking drama…
Alicia: well I was in drama club in high school...
Anjali: oh well…that's fine…so do u wanna start reharsing…
Alicia: sure…

Alicia is done with all her classes for the day…she is going towards the vendig machine to get herself chips….she puts in a dollar…the machine takes it but the chips don't come out and she doesn't have any money left…she is really hungry and pist off…she starts to leave...just then we hear a guy say: where r u going? Don't u want to eat chips?
Alicia thinks she has heard this voice before she turns around and sees that its Sameer…
Alicia: OMG…and gets all excited…
Sameer: hey…how have u been?
Alicia: I'm gr8 what abt u?
Sameer: I'm gr8 too…so do u like NY so far?
Alicia: yes…
Then they start talking and then Sameer gets a call…
Sameer: I have to go…
Alicia: ok…then...bye take care…
Sameer: bye…
Alicia is happy nad goes toward the parking lot to look for Rishi's car and she spots it…
She goes there and Rishi is sitting there…
Rishi: what took u so long?
Anjali: oh I was getting something to eat but that stupid vending machine took my money and didn't give me anything….and I didn't hv any money left…
Rishi: that reminds me we hv to go buy grocery soon…
Alicia: yeah…but I don't hv money…
Rishi: I don't either…but I'll get my paycheck tomorrow…
Alicia: come to think of it I should get a job too…
Rishi: yeah ur right…
Alicia: but wht r we gonna do abt dinner?
Rishi: I know…
Alicia: what r u thinking?
Roshi: u will find out soon…

Meanwhile @ Sonya's place….
Sonya has decided to hv a candle light dinner for her and Rahul…she has cooked pasta and for desert she has chocolate a la mode…She has set the table beautifully and has lit the candles…she is very excited because after a long time they are gonna hv a peaceful dinner @ home together…Rahul comes home and looks at the table he starts thinking do we hv our anniversary today? Then he thinks no…it's not her birthday…is it mine…no…then what is it that she has done so much and I didn't buy her a present… I will surely hv to sleep on the couch tonight…
Sonya: Rahul is that u?
Rahul doesn't wanna say anything but he still says: yes its me…
Sonya: I'm so happy…aren't u happy? Why do u look so tensed? Did something happened @ work?
Rahul: no everything is fine…
Sonya: anyways why don't u get freshen up…I hv had dinner ready for us…
Rahul: ok… he is still thinking what is up wid her and thinks maybe she just did like that…and tries to relax…

He comes outside and sees Sonya sitting on the table waiting for her…
Sonya: ur back…what took u so long? Anywyas sit and lets eat…
Rahul: sure…
he sits down and they start eating….when there is a knock on the door…
Rahul: I'll open it…
Sonya: sure…
He open it and then he sees Rishi and Alicia standing there…they both come in…
Rishi: hi u guys…
Alicia: hey…
Rahul: hi…he's happy that they're here so Sonya will forget abt what today actually is…
Sonya on the other hand is mad that they hv ruined there romantic evening…
Sonya in a bored tone: hey
Rishi: wow…the food smells gr8…u guys don't mind if we join u?
Rahul: ofcourse not…sit down and I'll get u guys plates….
Everybosy starts eatng….everyone was praising Sonya's cooking so she finally cooled down….and then they were done eating….
Alicia: I'm so tired…I think I'm gonna go to sleep…
Rishi: I think ur right…
Rahul on the other hand is worried whats gonna happen to him after they leave…
Rahul: come on u guys…stay a little while longer…
Alicia: I would but I hv moring classes tomorrow…
Rishi: ok…then see u guys later…bye…
Alicia: bye…
They both leave…while Rahul is scared abt tonight….

Alicia is standing while Rishi is sitting in the couch in the living room…

Alicia: wow…Rishi…ur gr8…

Alicia: how did u know Sonya was going to be cooking?

Rishi: well…she usually cooks dinner and I used to eat dinner all the time…so I was sure she cooked today too…anyway wasn't the food good…

Alicia: yes…it was amazing…I'm going to bed…see ya later…

Rishi: yeah sure…

Alicia goes to her room while Rishi is busy watching TV…

Meanwhile @ Sonya's place:

Rahul is pacing the floor while Sonya is sitting on the couch and reading a magazine…

Sonya: Is everything ok?

Rahul: yes…

Sonya: r u sure?

Rahul: no…Sonya I'm really sorry…and he sits besides her…

Sonya: why?

Rahul: well I forgot wht today was…

Sonya: wht is today? Wht are u talking abt?

Rahul: I dun know…I mean u made a candle light dinner for us and everything…

Sonya and Rahul enter the coffee house and sit on the couch there…When a waitress comes up to them…

W: Could I get u something?

Sonya: yes…could I get one Vanilla Frappuccino …

Rahul: I'll hv a regular black coffee…

W: ok…someone will be here w/ ur order soon…

Sonya: I wonder where everyone else is?

Rahul: probably doing something important unlike us…

They start talking when they hear something break…they both turn up to see Alicia wearing a black miniskirt with a red top……and besides her on the ground is a broken up…

We hear a voice say: That is ur fifth cup today Miss. Alicia…I don't know what to do w/ u?

Alicia: I'm so sorry…U can cut the money out from my paycheck but don't fire me please….this is my first job ever…plz

We see a middle aged guy who is the manager of this coffee house…who is Alicia's boss…

Boss: B

B: ok...clean the mess up…

Alicia: yes sir… she finally sees Rahul and Sonya…

Alicia: hi guys…

Rahul and Sonya: hey…

Sonya: wht happened? How cum ur here?

Alicia sits on the couch and tells them how she got the job and the fact she hates her boss…but she needs this job for money…

B: Miss Alicia…I don't pay u to sit and talk w/ ur friends…get back to work…

Alicia: I'm going…did u guys get ur order yet?

Sonya: no

Alicia: I'll get it…

She leaves to get it…

Alicia makes the vanilla Frappuccino and coffee for them…she brings to them and put it on the table….
Alicia: so taste the coffee and tell me how is it?
Sonya and Rahul taste their coffee and by their expressions u can tell it's the worst coffee they hv ever tasted…
Alicia: btw this was the first time I ever made it myself…so did u like it?
Sonya: yeah its gr8…
Alicia: wht abt u Rahul?
Rahul coughs and says: I like it…
Alicia: cool…next time u guys come here…I'll make coffee for u guy's here…
Rahul and Sonya shocked and just smile to her…
Alicia: oh u guys are so gr8…
Alicia goes back to cleaning the table…

Rahul: u know abt Alicia and the fact she sucks @ making coffee?

He gets up and sees Alicia holding a cup of coffee and going to give it to a customer…He goes toward her and takes the cup and starts drinking it immediately…Alicia shocked @ him…
Alicia: wht did u just do?
Rishi: I drank it…
Alicia: I know tht but why?
Rishi: cuz I was thirsty…why don't u sit down and take a break…
Alicia: but I can't take a break…
Rishi: come on and makes her sit down…
Alicia: so…
Rishi: drink this…
Alicia: I'm not drinking it…u just drank it…I'm so not drinking ur jhoota…
Rishi: shut up…and just drink it…
Alicia too scared to say anything…takes a sip of the coffee and spits it out…
Alicia: yuck…it's so bad it's the worst coffee I hv ever tasted…
Rishi: exactly…that's what I was trying to tell u…
Alicia: I just got it…I make such bad coffee…I'm the worst coffee maker and starts crying…
Rishi: come on stop crying…
Rahul and Sonya come to her…
Sonya: look wht u did... u made her cry
Rahul: can't u ever do anything right…
Sonya: calm down…don't listen to Rishi…
Alicia: but he's right…I make the worst coffee ever…
Rahul: well that u do…
Alicia: wht am I going to do?
Rishi: u need to quit…
Alicia: but I can't I need the money…
Rahul: do u hv to make coffee?
Alicia: no…I can just waitress…I just decided to make it for u guys but I'll never do that again…cuz if u r a waitress u just need to fill the cup…so that means I don't need to quit…this is so cool….
Rishi: thank god…this problem is solved…
Rahul: yeah…
Rishi: so what are ur guys plan for thanksgiving?
Sonya: I'm staying @ home as usual…
Rahul: me too…
Rishi: r u going to meet ur parents?
Alicia: I don't hv the money too…
Sonya: so does that mean we're all spending thanksgiving together
Alicia: I guess so…
Rishi: who's cooking?
Everyone looks @ Sonya…
Sonya: oh no I'm not…
Alicia: plz it's my first ever thanksgiving away from home…and makes a puppy dog face…
Sonya: fine…

Thanksgiving Day-Sonya's Place:
Sonya is in the kitchen…Alicia is in the living room setting the table and Rahul and Rishi are sitting down and watching the annual NYC thanksgiving parade…
Alicia: the turkey smells so good…I can't wait to eat it…
Rishi: yeah ur right…
Sonya: wht r u guys doing?
Rahul: watching the parade…I love it…
Rishi stares @ him and says: ok…
Rahul: think wht u wanna think but the parade is the only good thing abt thanksgiving…
Rishi: no it isn't the food is…
Sonya: oh thanks…
Alicia: I think the best thing is spending time w/ the people u love…
Rishi: oh so does it mean u love us?
Alicia: yes…I mean u guys are gr8 and u guys hv helped us so much…
Rishi pretending to be touched and says: oh this is the most touching speech I've ever heard and starts to laugh…
Alicia throws a carrot @ him…and starts to laugh
Rishi: oh no u didn't just do that
Alicia: oh yes I did and holds a plate to protect herself…
Rishi gets cranberry sauce and is abt to throw it @ her and accidentally throws it @ Sonya…
Sonya screams: Rishi...and gets the mashed potato and throws it @ Rishi…
Rahul laughing @ everyone…
Alicia throws candied yams @ Rahul and everyone starts laughing @ him…
Everybody starts throwing stuff at each other…
Someone opens the door and enters and it is Jay…
Jay: OMG…wht happened here and everyone looks at him and start laughing….
Alicia takes more mashed potatoes and throws @ him…
Jay: wht did u just do?
Alicia: I threw mashed potato at u…
Jay takes cranberry sauce and throw it at her and everyone again start attacking each other…
Just then the oven timer rings…
Rishi: the turkeys ready…
Sonya goes in the kitchen to get the turkey…
Alicia: get up everyone and start cleaning up and assigns cleanig jobs to the guys…
Everything is cleaned and they are all sitting at the table to start eating…
There is a knock at the door and Rahul opens it and shuts the door…
Sonya: who was it?
Rahul: u don't wanna know…
Rishi: who was it? Tell us now
Rahul: ok...i'll tell u if u really wanna know...it is Sonya's so called best friend
Rishi and Jay: ur kiddin us
Rahul: unfortuantely no...
Sonya: it was Anjali…wonder wht she wants
She opens the door and greets her…
Sonya: come on in…how come ur here?
Anjali: well my parents were away on vacation and then I thought who am I closest to and I realized it was u…hope I didn't disturb u guys…
Sonya: no…ur always welcome here…
She goes to grab a plate for her…
Rahul: sit down…
She sits and looks at Alicia and says: I've seen u before…aren't u in my drama class?
Alicia: yeah…
Anjali: how come ur here?
Alicia: well…I live across the hall fom them…
Anjali shocked and says: u mean to say u live w/ Rsihi
Alicia: yes...
Rishi: but theres nothing b/w us
Alicia: yeah…absolutely nothing…
Anjali: ok..as u say..
Anjali: so where do u live now Jay?
Jay: I live just a few blocks away..
Anjali: cool…
Sonya's back w/ the plate and everyone starts eating...
Alicia: I just remembered…in my family we always went around the table and said wht we are thankful for…I'll start…I'm thankful for having so many people who love and care for me…
Jay: I'm thankful to hv finally gotten a decent job…
Rishi: yeah u should be...anywyaz I'm thankful for having wonderful food…and looks at Sonya
Sonya: thanks
Rahul: I'm thankful for having such a wonderful girlfriend…
Sonya: thats so sw8…I'm thankful for having such gr8 friends…
Anjali: I'm thankful for being rich and getting wht I want…
Everyone looks at her…
Alicia: ok…let's start eating now…
Everyone loves the food and as usual praise Sonya's cooking and then finally they are done...
The guys and Anjali are sitting and watching T.V while Sonya and Alicia are in the kitchen…
Alicia: the food was gr8…did u take professional lessons or something?
Sonya: no yaar…
Alicia: then
Sonya: well the lady I lived w/ my whole life was a gr8 cook and she taught me…
Alicia: oh cool…so what is for desert?
Sonya: I made pie…
Alicia: I love pie…
Sonya: that is gr8…
