Chapter 5

All the cadets were standing in front of the brigadiers office when naina reached there.

She enquired- first year?

Pooja turned and replied- yes. You too.

Naina nodded.

Pooja- hi I m pooja from chandigarh.

Naina- naina from nainital.

Then she met yudi and ali.

Suddenly huda came out of the group and tried to flirt with naina.

Huda- aur is bande ko huda kehte h.

He moved his right hand forward to shake hands.

Naina watched huda from top to bottom came near to huda and.

Naina- not interested.

Everybody was surprised to hear this.

Yudi- let it be bro. ye tumse nahi patne wali.

Huda- lagi sharat. Huda is phoolan devi ko pta ke hi manega.

Yudi- phoolandevi. Who is she?

Huda pointed towards naina.

Yudi- but vo to …. Let it be. You and your …………whatever.

An orderly came out of the office and told them their room numbers and gave the whole schedule for the day. naina and pooja were roomis. All went towards their room.

All decided to meet in the mess after getting fresh for lunch.

The day went in getting acquainted with the academy n its routines.

At night when everybody was going towards their rooms after having dinner huda collided with someone near amar jyoti.

Huda- oye dikhai nahi deta kya tereko. Ye academy h tera ghar nahi jo aise ghum rha h.

Guy- sahi bola. Ye academy h tera ghar nahi jo andho ki tarah ghum rha h ya fir sach me hi andha h.

Huda- tu hai kaun jo huda se aise bat kar rha h.

Suri ji heard this convo n came near the cadets.

Suriji- oye khotyo . ye alekh h. tumhara sathi.

Then he told them that alekh is a murderer and sent here by court so that he could become a good soldier.

Suriji- ali putar ye tere sath rahega tere kamre me. Chalo lightsout ka time ho gaya h. ab apne kamre me jao.

All said goodnight to suri ji and went to their respective rooms and slept.

Next day will bring a new lfe for all of them.

But in a room someone was finding it difficult to sleep. Someone was not letting him to sleep. He didn't know why he was so restless today. Nothing has happened like that before in his life. He was thinking about the incident that happened in the morning.

purane cadets se to aap bahut ache se wakif hain n naye ye rhe.......

Rummy- Son of brigadier A K Gaur. Careless, least disciplined. Kisi se nahi darta but apne dad ko bahut pyar karta h. unhi ka sapna pura karne aya h kma me. Inhe life chahiye full of adventures shayad tabhi army se inhe koi problem nahi. bikes aur cars k deewane h.

Yuvi- son of a business man jai singh rathore. Gujrati h pr gujrati ka g bhi nahi ata.

Rummy k dost not from bachpan only college frnds. To inhone ne bhi join kar liya kma .

Group me prankmasterk naam se jane jate h.

Nick-nikhil arora. Ek normal family se h . bhai ki tarah na to engg banna chahte the na hi behen ki tarah doctor. So for a change kma join kiya. Dusri duniya k niwasi . apni gadgets se bahut pyar h inko.

Vik- ye bhi normal family se hain. Ye humesha se desh k liye kuch karna chahte the so army join kar li. Inhe har tarah k weapons k bare me pta h.

Sam- a normal girl from delhi. Ye yahan ayi hai…………………………….

Pta nahi. Shayad inki kismet me tha yahan ana. Ye sochti hain jeeyo aur jeene do.

Apne upar sabse jyada bharosa h. inke liye nothing is impossible.

Ashi- ab inke bare me kya btaye. Inke sare shauk ladko wale hain. I mean bikes, cars, speed n all that. Apne me mast. Jahan dosti me jan de sakti h wahi dushmani me le bhi sakti h. ek bahut hi hi-fi family se h. sirf ek funda- pehle kisi ko mat chedo pr koi tumhe kuch kahe to use mat chodo.

Nicky- pure group ki sabse irresponsible girl. Ek minister ki beti h. life me sirf ek funda – khul ke jiyo kya pta kal ho naa ho. Sirf ek hi kam ata hai inhe- rules todna.

Papa ki laadli hain isiliye to unke kehne pr kma me ayi h warna inhe army me koi interest nahi.

Time- 10.30 in the night

Place – girls hostel(KMA)

Somebody knocked on the door. Naina wakeup and opened the door. She got a slip.

"come to the grounds: brigadier chandok".

Shalini- yes. But vo solitary confinement me jyada time tak rha nahin.

Yuvi- kyun mam?

Shalini- kyun?(smiles) kyunki unke sath saviour jo tha.

Ashi- matlab?

Shalini- matlab captain rajveer. Unhone bc I mean brigadier ko kisi tarah convince kar liya ki isme alekh ki koi galti nahi thi n unhone second year cadets ko bhi kuch nahi hone diya. Tabhi to unhe maine saviour kha tha.

Vik- bc that means ye naam puri academy me famous hain. Not bad(smilingly).

Shalini- janna nahi chahoge ye naam unhe diya kisne?

Yuvi- kisne mam?

Shalini- none other than captain rajveer singh shekhawat.

All- (shocked)what?

Shalini- relax cadets. Isme chokne wali kaun si bat h……….. ok lagta h maine tumhe nahi btaya ki captain shekhawat n capt chauhan isi academy ke pass outs the .

Rummy- interesting. Same academy, pehle cadet and then faculty.

Shalini- yes cadets bt tum logo ne aage sunna h ki nahi. Bole hi ja rhe ho.

Ashi- yes mam btaiye na kya hua?

Shalini- kuch dino tak to sab normal tha. But vo sab jyada din tak nahi chala.

In the grounds

Major nair- cadets aaj aap logo ko drill akele puri karni h. I mean ki aaj ki is drill me aapka koi partner nahi hoga. Aap logo ko ek map diya jayega n us map ke according aap ko aapki manjil talashni h. aapke raste me aapko teen objectives bhi pure karne hoge.

First- aapko chupai hui item search karni h.

Second- raste me ane wale obstacles ko clear karma h jisse bad me jane wali party ko koi problem na ho.

And third ye drill complete karke aapko dinner time tak mess me report karna h.

Drill me use hone wale sare equipments in bags me(pointing towards the bag) rakh diye gaye h. aap bags lijiye n move towards your way.

Any doubts?

All- no sir.

Major- good.

And he went away.

Huda- kyu yudiye lagata h shart ki ye drill to main hi jeetunga.

Yudi- let it be bro. drill ko jitney k liye brain hona chahiye n I m sure vo tumhare pas bilkul nahi h.

Huda- yudi tu to gaya………..

And their chase begin

Alekh- nautanki sale…….

Naina(thinking)- ye sahi mauka h naina. Tu apna kam kar sakti h.

Alekh- ab tere ko kya hau. Aisa kya soch re li h jo ek ki jagah do bag utha liye

Naina- kuch nahi. Bas vo to aise hi.

Alekh- apun se chupane ka koi fayda nahi. Koi gadbad h to bol de. Shayad apun koi madad kar sake……

Naina- aisi koi bat nahi h alekh. Tu bewajah pareshan ho rha h.

Alekh- agar aisi bat h to tere ko pasina kyun aa rha h(pointing towards his forehead).

Naina- nahi wo garmi h na isliye.(and she went away)

Alekh(to himself)- koi bat to h jo ye apun se chupa rahi h.

Naina- thank god. Agar kisi ko pata chal jata to sab gadbad ho jata.

A knock on the ddor. Door opened.

Oh its you. Mujhe laga ki

Aapko laga ki ……… kaun h

Please chauhan sab. Main is waqt majak ke mood me bilkul nahi hu.

Vo to aap kabhi nahi hote raj. Well aaj kya bahana h.

Raj-Bahana 4 wat.

Chauhan-Oh to aap bhul gaye. Shayad aaj humne kuch plan kiya tha. Kahin jane ka………… yaad aya…….

Raj-Oh I m so sorry. Mere to dimag se bilkul hi slip ho gaya tha.

"haan apko kyun yad rahega capt. Shayad humari company hi apko pasand nahi h" a voice came from the behind of captain chauhan.

Raj turned and saw a woman standing at the door . she was wearing a plane pink saree with golden border. She was looking gorgeous.

Raj- aisa kuch nahi h doctor ritu aap galat samajh rhi h.

Ritu- to aap samajha dijiye.

Raj- vo main.. bas ………

Ritu- ab apko koi excuse nahi sujh rha na. koi bat nahi hum wait karenge. Hum bhi dekhe ki aap aaj kaunsa jhuth bolte h captain.

Raj- ok it was my fault. Main apni galti manta hu. Pr kya mujhe maafi nahi mil sakti.

Chauhan- correction. Galti ki mafi nahi saza milegi.

Raj- what? Yar ab jyada ho rha h…….

Ritu- thik h. fir galti manne ka kya fayda.

Raj- ok aap jeeti main hara. Kahiye kya saza h meri.

Chauhan- well ye program ritu ji ne bnaya tha to saza bhi wahi dengi.

"ma tujhe salam ma tujhe salam

Vandeeeeee matram.."

Abhimanyu's mobile phone rang.

Chauhan- hello…………….ji thik h……………thik h hum aate h.

He disconnected the phone.

Chauhan- sorry guys. Mujhe jana hoga. Main tumse bad me milta hu.

And he left the room.
