Chapter 1
Clock on the wall struck five of the morning. Number of boys and girls gathered in the ground. Every one was waiting for a single person. But till 5.30 no body was there.
This made them to think if everything is ok . then there was an announcement "your drills for today are cancelled and you all are given holiday for two days".
Smiles appeared on everybody face. Everyone was planning how to spend their holiday. But all were clueless why they have been given off for two days in the end of june.
This was the scenario of the best military academy of India- kanchanjunga military academy , Ambala.
All cadets went to the mess for breakfast. But few of them stopped in front of a room.
They saw a man crying in front of a wall . they were shocked to see this. They went in and saw some photographs hanging on the wall.
One of them asked- is everything ok sir?
Man who was not aware of their arrival turned back. Everybody noticed a teardrop in his eyes. He asked- what are you doing here cadets? Its your breakfast time. You all should be in mess. So go there.
All replied-yes sir.
And all went towards the mess but no one of them wanted to . they all have the same question in their minds.
"jo unhone dekha kya vo sach tha? Aisa kya ho gaya jo sir ki aankhon me ansu aa gaye?"
But no one had the answer. But they knew that there was a man who can give answers of all of their questions. So all of them moved towards his room.
But they were shocked to see the man . they ran inside the room .
one of them asked- kya hua suri ji. Aap thik to h. aap ki aankhon me ye ansu.
Before he could get an answer another guy asked looking towards the wall having same photographs- ye sab kaun hai suri ji ? aur inki photos to humne brigadier sir k room me bhi thi. Aakhir funda kya h?
Suri ji(with a smile)- oye khotyo ye is academy k vo students h jinhone is academy ka naksha hi badal diya. Ye sab ab tak k humare best cadets h aur inka batch best batch. Oye Rummy tu puch rha than a aap ki ankhon me ye ansu kyun to bas inki yad aa gayi thi n ye ansu to apne aap aa gaye. In sabse mujhe bada pyar h. ye bharat maa k sache sipahi h.
Rummy - iska matlab brigadier chandok bhi inhe itna hi pyar karte h that's y he was crying.
Suriji- are brigadier hi nahi inko to puri academy hi bahut pyar karti h. yahan ke chappe chappe me inki yade h.
All- suri ji hume bataye na inke bare me. Hume sab janna h inke bare me.
Suriji- thik h khotyo main tvanu sab dussanga. Pr pehle tum sab mess me jayo aur apna nashta khatam karo varna main tumhare kano vich sar kar dunga.
All laugh.
All- thik h suriji pr hum nashta karke zaroor ayenge.
All returned after completing their breakfast with a one more friend.
Suriji- aao khotyo. Sabne nashta kar liya na.
Rummy ? ha suriji hum sab nashta karke aye h.
But pls ab hume un sabke bare me btao na.
Suri ji- thik h. ye sab 2006 batch k cadets the. Sab ek dusre se bilkul alag. Pr fir bhi sabse ache dost. Inki dosti ek missal h. ek dusre k liye jaan bhi de sakte the.
Rummy ? that means they were friends forever. Right.
Suri ji-haan bilkul thik. (slapped peter with love) pr khote hunt u bich me bola na to main nahi dasni inandi kahani. Samajh ayi he.
Rummy ? ji suriji.
Suriji- mujhe aaj bhi yaad h vo din jab in logo ne is academy me pehla kadam rakha tha.

Flashback

This was a bright sunny day.. cadets were doing their normal daily drills in the ground.
Inside one room one man was dressing himself . then there was a knock on the door.
Come in.
An orderly came in and said- aapko brigadier chandok ne apne office me bulaya h.
Man nodded and orderly went back.he came out of his room and moved towards brigadier office.
"good morning major" he turned.
Good morning doctor shalini-he replied.
She asked-are you ready for the meeting?
Major- what do you think.
Shalini- you are looking like??
Both of them" good morning sir"
Brigadier-good morning officers. Come in.
All of them entered the room.
Officers who were already in the room stood up.
Brigadier-goodmorning faculty. You may sit down.
He continued-as all of you know today new batch is coming . here is the list of duties assigned to all of you. Go through it and sign it.
And one more announcement. Two more officers are coming to join our faculty. You will find their details also in the same file. There will be an introductionceremony at 1800 hours. Regarding your duties there is not so much changes.so I don't think that there will be any problem for you. thats it for now. You may leave.

Subedar suri- warden and mess incharge.
Subedar Lolita sen- warden and clothing incharge.
Doctor ritu mishra- psychological warfare training.
New faculty members---
Captain abhimanyu rai chauhan- weaponary training.
Captain rajveer singh shekhawat- communication and strategy.
Sam-iska matlab humari faculty kafi change hui h.
Yuvi- you r right sam. Bt shalini mam tab bhi yahi thi. Iska matlab vo bhi ?..
"Yes cadet yuvi you r absolutely right." Voice came from behind. All turned to see the source. A lady was standing at the door.
I know everything about the 2006 batch. That was the best batch of kma.- shalini told.
Ashi- but mam agar aisi bat h to humme se koi unke bare me janta kyun nahi.
Nick- yes mam. Why we were not told about them before?
This question left a silent in the room. Shalini and suriji both were quiet . they didn't know how to answer this question as they also didn't know the answer.
Suddenly there was an announcement- all cadets are required to report in assembly hall.
Rummy- what is this yar. Jab bhi hum koi imp discussion kar rhe hote h naye bc ka mike baj padta h.
Vk-chal dekhte h. kisliye bulaya h.
Yuvi- but this doesn't mean that hum ye story adhuri chod denge. We will come back mam.
Shalini- ok. But please first go to the hall otherwise you all will be punished.
