Pyaar Ka Pal: Part 46

Next Morning Kripa woke up with Angad in her arms. He was still dressed in the same shirt from last night. She tried to sit up but fell back. Her head was throbbing, and she felt dizzy. "Angad." She called. "Angad!" This time she yelled. He quickly sat up, and looked at Kripa.

"What is it Kripa? You bugged me enough last night." But he found Kripa not listening but messaging her head. He got out of bed and went to the kitchen. When he entered mumbling he found Anjali in the kitchen.

"Angad, Kripa has a hang over huh?"

"Yes!"

Anjali laughed, "Here." She handed Angad a glass of lime water and Angad went back to the room. Kripa was coming out of the bathroom after brushing, still rubbing her head.

"Here!" He handed her the glass and she drank it.

"Thank You."

"Welcome. And just tell me in advance if you plan to get drunk again."

"Why?"

"Because I don't want to see you doing all the silly things you did last night."

"What did I do?" She asked nervously.

"If I started telling the list would be to long."

"No but something."

"Well, you told me you loved me a few million times, and you sang about three songs last night, and you told me you liked being called my princess, and I kissed you about a million times!"

"What?"

"Uh-huh!"

Kripa walked to him, "Why did you, and who gave you permission?"

"You did, PRINCESS!"

"Oh just shut-up! I would never!"

"Well you did. And-"

"And?" Kripa asked confused.

"Nothing." Kripa looked at him angry. Anagd rolled his eyes, he saw that Kripa had no clue what happened between them last night. He walked to her and took her face in her hands. "Nothing happened between us! You acted silly, and went to sleep. I would never do what your thinking." Kripa let out a sigh of relief and hugged Angad.

"I'm sorry Angad, but I just… lost it last night." Kripa had started to remember times she spend after being drunk last night. She remembered everything when but when Angad told her he loved her as well.

"Yes you did!" Angad said laughing.

"And this is to good to be true!" Shahid said at the door, "I see Angad and Kripa hugging!"

"Shut-up Shahid!" Kripa said as she pulled away.

"Ok! I didn't see anything. Angad, there's a call for you."

"Who is it?"

"Neha." Shahid said turning away. Kripa lost the color of her face again.

"Tell her I'm busy."

"Ok!" Shahid said.

"You know you didn't have to do that." Kripa told him.

"Actually I did. I didn't like the way your face lost it's color!" Kripa blushed now.

"Ah! You do look beautiful when you blush." Kripa hit Angad's arm playfully and left. "Just two more months Kripa. And I promise you every happiness of your life." Angad smiled as he walked into the bathroom.

Kripa sat in the garden enjoying her tea with a news paper when Angad came out, and sat beside her. "Kripa."

"Ya."

"I have something to tell you."

"What?" She looked at him now.

"I have to be gone for three days."

Kripa twisted her lips. "When?"

"I have to leave in the evening." He said sitting back.

"Whose going where?" Dadi asked.

"Angad is leaving for three days." Kripa told her as she stood up and gave Dadi her seat.

"Why you sound disappointed Kripa." Dadi said laughing.

"I am." Kripa mumbled.

"Angad why don't you take Kripa with you?"

"But Dadi I-"

"How many meetings do you have?"

"Just one tomorrow." Angad said.

"Then why are gone for three days?" Kripa asked.

"Because there's not returning flight for the next three days." Angad told her.
"Well than, you can go to your meeting tomorrow and then the next two days you guys can spend together."

"But Dadi-" Angad said again.

"No Ifs and buts. Kripa's going its final!" And with that Dadi left.

"I'm sorry Angad. I'll try to explain Dadi."

"It's ok Kripa. It's kind of good your coming with me."

"Why?"

"Because I have someone to bore now!"

"Very funny!" Kripa said leaving.

"Kripa." Angad called again.

"What?"

Angad stood behind her, "Were you really disappointed when I told you I was going to leave?"

"No. I was just disappointed I have no one to bother for three days." Saying this she left.

The next day Angad finished his meeting and came back to the hotel room. Kripa opened the door, and found a smiling Angad standing in front of her. He came into the room humming, "Jaana kaisa kab kaha, iqraar ho gya. Hum soochta he raha gya aur pyaar ho gya."

Kripa looked at him confused. Angad fell on the bed and laid there. Kripa walked to him and checked his forehead. "Angad are you ok?" Angad sat up and hugged Kripa tightly. Kripa confused hugged him back.

Angad parted smiling even wider, "Guess what?"

"What?"

"I've been promoted, to chief! That means no more missions, of course unless I choose! I'm so glad!" Kripa smiled seeing him so happy. "What? Your suppose to hug me and tell me how proud you are of me!"

"I am proud of you!"

Angad hugged Kripa again, "I love you Kripa." And then he bit his tongue. Kripa pulled away from him and looked at him.

"What did you say?" She asked.

"What did I say?" He asked her.

"You said you loved me."

"Well, that I do. I always have. I told you that the other night as well."

"Oh!" Kripa said disappointed. "Anyways. Now I have something to tell you."

"It better be good."

"It is. My trip has been confirmed, I will leave for Australia in two months. I've been assigned a project I just have to go back and sing it."

"That's nice." Angad said standing up. "I'm happy for you." Kripa walked to him and turned him around.

"I have something else to tell you as well."

"What?"

"I've realized something."

"What is it?"

"That I don't love you. I don't think I ever did." Angad looked at Kripa shocked. "I guess I was just feeling lonely and thought you were being unfair to both me and our marriage." Kripa noticed Angad crying. "Why are you crying?" Kripa asked wiping his tears.

"Because I no longer has someone who will let drunk and tell me how much she loves me." He tried to laugh as he said this. Kripa hit his arm. "Kripa, you really don't love me?" He asked her.

"No. I don't. And you should be glad about it."

"I am, I don't have to feel guilty anymore." Kripa smiled and walked away. The next to days Kripa and Angad didn't talk to much. Angad slept on the sofa once again and they both cried to them selves. Kripa still thought Angad didn't love her, and she somewhere thought he loved Neha. She didn't get the job offer but lied to Angad. She had decided to divorce Angad. Why? Because was she was packing there cloths a few days back she found a letter in his pocket for him by Angad. Neha had just confessed her love for Angad.

Two months later, the Khanna house was celebrating Kripa and Angad's first anniversary, and Angad's birthday which was a week ago. Kripa was in her room tying the back of her sari when Angad came in.

In the past two months much had happened. Kripa had over heard Neha and Angad confess their love for each other. And Angad and Kripa were hardly speaking to each other. For the world they were the happiest person alive but only they knew how much they had cried for each other, every night.

Kripa looked at Angad through the mirror. He was wearing a black suit, which matched perfectly with Kripa's black sari. He walked to Kripa and stood behind her. Kripa looked absolutely glorious in her black sari. She looked even more beautiful because of the dark sindoor that she had for the first time applied on her forehead. The dark red color only made her fair complexion stand out. She wore a small diamond necklace of a heart, with matching silver bangles in one hand. Her hair were tied back in a bun and small a diamond pin hung from her bun. "Can I help?" Angad asked. He tied her blouse for her and Kripa turned around.

"Thanks Angad." He smiled and held out a small box. Kripa took it from him and opened it. She was shocked when she saw a managalsutra in front of her. "Angad I can't-"

"Dadi gave this, and if you can wear sindoor you can wear this. Consider it a duty, a formality, or anything."

"Or the love I have for you within me." Kripa thought. Kripa took it out of the box and put it around her neck. Angad turned to leave, "Angad." He turned around and looked at Kripa. She took a few steps towards him and fixed his collar. "What are you going to do when I leave?" She asked him.

"I don't know." He said choking on his own words.

"And by the way, where's my gift?" She said wiping the a tear from he eye.

"What do you want Kripa?"

"Nothing, I want you to stay happy."

Angad stepped closer, and kissed both her cheeks, "As long as you are happy, I will be happy. Now you tell me where is my gift?" Kripa smiled and walked to her closet and took out a wrapped object. She handed it to him.

"Happy marriage anniversary Angad." Angad took it from her and looked at it.

"May I open it?" Kripa nodded, and Angad carefully unwrapped. He soon was holding a brown leather file. He opened it up and found some legal documents in front of him. He read the first line shocked, 'Divorce Papers, Mr. Angad Khanna and Mrs. Kripa Khanna.' Angad looked up at Kripa. Then he looked back and read thought it, and then found them singed by Kripa. He smiled and looked at Kripa, "This is the best gift anyone has ever given to me Kripa. Should I sing them right now?" Tears spilled from Kripa's eyes as Angad took out a pen and set the papers down to sing it.

"Angad, you can sing them after the party." Kripa said taking the papers from him. Angad nodded and wiped his tears.

"Shall we go?" Kripa nodded. The exit the room and Kripa caught Angad's hand. She put her arm around his and said, "We're still married Angad, smile." Angad smiled and they both walked down. Angad and Kripa cut the cake and fed each other. The rest of the night was spent dancing and talking to other guests. Shahid and Anjali both knew about Kripa's plan, so after everyone left Kripa, Angad, Shahid and Anjali sat on a table having wine.

"Let's play spin the bottle." Shahid said looking at Kripa. The person opposite will ask you a question. Shahid spun the bottle and it stopped on Shahid. Angad asked him, "Who do you love the most in your life?"

"I love Anjali the most." Anjali smiled and hugged him, while Kripa smiled. Angad spun the bottle and it stopped on Anjali.

"Anjali," Kripa started, "If you could do anything right now what would you do?" Angad looked at Kripa from the corner of his eye.

"I would run away with Shahid and marry him right away!" They all laughed and Kripa spun the bottle and it stopped on Angad.

"Ah! Angad, now if you had to tell the person you loved the most that you did how would you do that?" Shahid asked.

Angad sat back and rolled up the cuffs of his shirt, laughing, "Well, to start it off the person I love the most doesn't love me. So I can't really tell her."

"Ok, then if you wanted to tell her how would you, sing it?" Anjali asked.

"Well," he sat back and sung a few lines, "Socha hai ek din main use milke Keh daalon apne sab haal dil ke Aur kardoon jeevan uske hawale Phir chhod de chaahe apna banale Main to uska re hua deewana Ab to jaisa bhi mera ho anjaam Ho ghum hai kisi ke pyaar mein dil subah shaam Par tumhe likh nahin paaon main uska naam." Shahid clapped for Angad and both Kripa and Angad wiped their tears.

"Well we only have Kripa left. Angad why don't you ask her?" Shahid said.

"Well, if someone was singing this to you how would you reply?"

Kripa smiled and stood up as she walked back to her room she didn't sing, but spoke the few lines, "tumse hain saansein tumse hain dhadkan
tumhise hain deewangi
rab ne hame di hain tumhare liye zindagi,
tumhare liye zindagi
wada sang jeene ka tum jaane jigar kar lo
ham tumpe marte hain thodisi fikar kar lo
fikar kar lo
kyon ki itna pyar tumko karte hain ham
kya jaan loge hamari sanam
kyon ki itna pyar tumko karte hain ham."

Pyaar Ka Pal: Part 47

Kripa stood in front of the mirror she slowly took her hair out of the bun, and let them loose down her back. She took her bangles off and put them back into her jewelry box, as well as her earrings and necklace. She stood in front of the mirror looking at her sindoor and her mangalasutra. With shivering hands she unhooked her mangalasutra and held it in her hand. "This is the first and last time I'm wearing this." She thought. She walked to her closet and took out a black high-neck with jeans, and went to change. She came back out looking new, fresh, different. She reached into her closet and took out a jean jacket and put it on. She looked at her self once More. "Welcome back Kripa Kapoor!" But then she looked at her forehead and the faded red still there.

Another image of her self stood in the mirror now. "Kripa Kapoor, Kripa Khanna? Kaun ho tum?"

"Kripa Kapoor!" Kripa answered.

"Wrong, your Kripa Khanna, you will be Kripa Khanna forever because you still love Angad, even after singing the divorce papers you consider him your husband." Taunted her shadow.

"Tum galat ho. Main Angad sa pyaar nahie karthi."

"Tum Angad sa pyaar karthi ho, karthi thi, aur karthi raho gi Kripa."

"Haan! Lakin kya vo mujhsa pyaar kartha hai?" She yelled into the mirror.

"Did you ask him?"

"Nahie, lakin aagar vo mujhse pyaar kartha tho mujhko khedeta. He would have never agreed to sing the divorce papers." Kripa said now confused herself.

"Kripa, you told him that you didn't love him. And if he loves you maybe he wanted to let you go for your happiness. But if he loves you, no one is going to be happy. Your going to destroy both your and Angad's life."

Before Kripa could say anything she found herself alone in the room. She sat in the sofa and ran her hand thought her hair. "If he loves me," Kripa thought, "He won't sing the papers, he will stop me."

"She doesn't love me Shahid. It's that simple. She gave me the divorce papers TODAY, and that too singed. What more proof do you want that she doesn't love me. She told me, she doesn't love me." As Angad spoke Shahid sighed.

"Did you ask her, why she's divorcing you?"

"No."

"Well maybe she is divorcing you because she doesn't know you love her."

"That can't be true. If that was the case she would have left me almost six months ago when I found out she loved me, and I- There's no point in talking about it now."

"Angad, Kripa is ruining her life, she is ruining your life." Shahid said standing up.

"Wrong, she is not ruining anyone's life. If fact I think she's in love with Prithvi."

"What? Angad you're a shame! How could you even think that?" Shahid gasped. Shahid had not a single idea about what Kripa thought of Angad and Neha and therefore couldn't fight that matter. "And I don't think you heard what she said before leaving." Shahid said referring to the song she spoke earlier.

"I heard, but she was simply answering what I asked her. It wasn't meant for me."

Shahid rolled his eyes again, "Look Angad I can't do anything more than talk to you, try to convince you. You are going to have to stop her your self. You have to tell her you love her at least once." Shahid looked at a sad Angad, "When is she leaving?"

"Tonight."

"WHAT?" Shahid stood up shocked. "How come I don't know this."

"Her flight is tomorrow at ten. But she wants to leave tonight and stay at the lodge at the air port for the night." Angad went on without listening to Shahid.

"Jesus, you guys are really mad. Angad you have got to stop her."

Anagd sighed and left the room. He walked up the stairs thinking about Shahid's words. The lights were off, and Angad sat in the stairs now. "What if Shahid is right? What if she is really leaving me for my own good? But then, she would have asked me. She wouldn't have told me she didn't love me." He stood up again and walked to his room. He looked like a disaster. His shirt was half un-tucked, he was close to being intoxicated, not completely but close. He opened the door and found Kripa sitting on the sofa looking though an album. She stood up when she saw Angad there. She walked to him, and just looked at him for sometime.

"Angad, why have you done to your self?" She asked touching his face but he backed off. And walked into the bathroom. When he came back out changed into a blue shirt and jeans he looked much better. More fresh.

He picked up the divorce papers and singed them, as he placed the last dot under his name he pressed hard enough for the nib of the pen to break. Kripa noticed the tear the fell on the paper as he singed the papers. He set the pen in the file and closed it. He stood up and wiped his eye. "Just have to submit these papers and we will no longer be married," He thought. "Just a signature, that's all it takes to end a relationship that's suppose to last for seven worlds to come." He smiled as the thoughts crossed his mind.

"Are you ready Kripa?" Kripa nodded her head, and slid her black purse over her shoulder. Angad took her luggage and went to the car.

Each step Kripa took down the stairs made her more week. Each step reminded her of something. Time spend with Dadi, with Bua, with Kris, with Shahid, Anjali, and most of all with Angad.

She remembered each time Angad kissed her forehead, each time they shared a hug, each time he yelled at her and then pacified her. Everything from the first time she saw him in two year when he lay in coma to when he singed the divorce papers. The way she acted the night she was drunk. Each kiss had given her that night. Each silly thing she said that made Angad laugh. It was all coming back to her. Everything. When she finally reached the door her feet seemed to have frozen. With great force she opened the doors and went outside where she found both Shahid and Anjali. She went to Anjali and they both hugged. Anjali didn't say anything and just ran inside. Kripa looked at Shahid, she saw crying for the first time in her life, she saw him crying. "My Shakespeare doesn't look good crying." She said wiping her tears.

"Do you have to leave?" He asked.

"I do." Kripa answered. Shahid hugged Kripa and they both cried. When she finally pulled apart she wiped his tears again. "You know Shahid you didn't give me anything today."

"What do you want?" He said in a low whisper, "I'll give you anything you ask for."

"Then take care of Angad for me." Shahid couldn't believe this, how could she still be thinking of Angad, but he just nodded his head. "And you have to e-mail me your wedding pictures." She said, as she cried more.

"You are going to be here for my wedding dear. I'm not getting married without you being there. In fact I can't."

"Why not?" Kripa asked smiling.

"Who going to tie my knot with Anjali?"

"Anyone can do that." Kripa said laughing now.

"But I want my sister to do that." Shahid said holding Kripa's face. This brought tears to Kripa's eyes. And she hugged him again.

"Why are you asking for something I can't give you Shahid?"

"Why can't you?"

"Because I can't see Anagd again after this."

"Then forget me getting married." Shahid said pulling away.

"If you love me, you will get married without me being there." Shahid didn't reply and Kripa sat in the car and Angad drove her away.

They hit traffic on the highway, and to some extent they both were happy about it. Kripa cleaned her eyes, and then sat back. There car wasn't even moving at this point. And it was silent in the car.

"So Angad," Kripa said breaking the silence, "what do you plan to do after this?"

"Well when I go home I'm going to sleep, and then tomorrow go to office, then come home and sleep again. Honestly, my life will be quite boring without you."

"Don't ever change Angad." Kripa said smiling.

"You too." He said smiling back at her. "Kripa, what am I going to tell Dadi?" He asked after some time.

Kripa looked at Angad and smiled, "Tell her I left you."

"Why?" Angad asked quietly.

"Because it was the right thing to do at this point. We couldn't live the way we were Angad." Angad nodded his head slowly.

"You tell me Kripa, what do you plan to do after this?"

"Nothing much. Just live I guess."

"I mean do you plan to settle down again?"

Kripa laughed, "I think one marriage is more than enough Angad. I can't handle another experience. You tell me, will you?" Her last words were quite.

"No." He replied simply.

"Why not?"

"Just like you said, one marriage is enough."

"If he loves Neha why wouldn't he marry her?" Kripa thought. The traffic moved and they reached the airport lodge soon.

"Angad my flight is actually in five hours. And I'm checked in."

"Ok."

"Can I help you sir?" The lady asked Angad.

"Yes, can we get a room."

"Sure sir, what's the name?"

"Kripa Khan-"

"Kripa Kapoor." Kripa said cutting him off, and then looked at him, "Kripa Kapoor." Angad looked at Kripa. The first thing that crossed her mind was that she was looking beautiful. Angad hadn't seen Kripa dressed like this in a long time. Hair pulled back in a pony, jeans jacket and a high neck. She looked younger and she looked like Kripa Kapoor, not Kripa Khanna. But her forehead still had the light red.

Anagd opened the door and they both walked into the room. Kripa turned the lights on and turned to Angad. Angad tried not to look at her.

"Well, I guess this is it Angad." Kripa said looking at him.

"I guess." He repeated. "I'll leave. If you need something before your flight you can call me." Kripa nodded her head. Angad turned to leave when Kripa took his hand. He didn't want to turn and look at her, he couldn't. He would break down. But he had to turn.

"Won't you hug your best friend for the last time?" She asked chocking. Angad just pulled her closer and hugged her tightly. After they had held each other for almost five minutes they both parted.

"Promise you will take care of your self?" Angad said putting his hand out.

"Promise." She said taking his hand and kissing it. "You too."

"I will!" He said as he kissed her hand. Kripa had no choice but to hug him again. She was completely broken down, now Angad made her sit down and kneeled down in front of her. "Why are you crying?" He said.

"I'm just sad that you won't be there anymore. I can't irritate anyone anymore."

"You can. Call me at night before going to bed and in the morning after you wake up. E-mail me, and you can irritate me as much as possible."

Kripa sat down next to him on the floor and hugged him again, "I'll miss you Angad."

"So will I." He kissed her forehead, and made her stand up. "Will you keep in touch Kripa?"

"No."

"Why not?" Angad asked.

"Angad I think I have shared a relation with you that if I keep in touch I will be pulled back to you. I don't want to see anyone or anything that will remind me of me being Kripa Khanna." Angad nodded understanding. "And promise me you won't cry when you get home."

"What made you think I'll cry?" He scoffed.

"Angad, I can see your trying to fight your tears back," now a glistening tear dropped his eyes and trickled down his cheek, Kripa wiped it and hugged him, "That's what I mean. You might not love me but we are friends." They both hugged for the last time and then Angad left. As soon as Kripa closed the door she fell to the flooring crying.

Angad sat in the car and instantly started crying. He couldn't stop her. He drove back home, and found Shahid waiting for him. Angad looked at Shahid and then sat next to him, "I couldn't stop her Shahid." Sighed and left Angad alone. Angad shut the door to his room and locked it, then we and changed into his pajama's. He came back out and turned the lights off. He sat on the sofa and a cushion against his stomach. Hot tears, of pain, of anger, and of regret ran down his cheeks. He soon felt his tears near his lips; at this point the could taste his tears. He wiped them, and tried not to cry again. He closed his eyes and instantly Kripa's smiling image appeared in front of his eyes. He opened his eyes again, and looked out the window, when he felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned and saw a smiling Kripa sit beside her. He shifted his body, and slowly put his head down in her lap. Kripa bent down and kissed his forehead, "You promised not to cry." She whispered into his ear. When Angad opened his eyes again he found himself laying on the sofa with a pillow under his head. He sat up with his head throbbing. He stood up and opened the window. The cool air touched him, he felt better, but Goosebumps ran thought his body. He looked at the moon; he smiled, and thought, "Well will forever at least share the same moon Kripa."

Kripa on the other hand sat on the bureau of the window with a cup of coffee in her hand, and looked at the moon. Her mind drifted back to Angad, after spending a full year with him she couldn't help but wonder if he had taken his medicine before bed. Kripa had been; for the past year, in charge of Angad's medicine. After injuring his head two years back he got sudden migraines, specially, in early mornings or late nights. This was only due to time pacing. As the 24-28 hours were over the medicine would leave it's effects from the body and leave Angad's head throbbing. Not everyday but often, like in the past two months Angad had several migraine attacks. Due to the stress he was facing. And somewhere Kripa held herself responsible.

Kripa decided to call and see if he was alright; yet at the same time she worried that he might be sleeping. But just to pacify herself she picks up the phone and dials Angad.

Angad is still standing watching the moon, when he sees his phone light up a bright blue and move on the mantle. He picks it up and sees Kripa's name; excited he picks up the phone. "Hi Kripa."

"Angad? Are you still awake?"

"No Kripa, I'm sleeping." Kripa laughed at his comment, "How did you call?"

"Actually, I wanted to know if you had your medicine?" She asked him.

"What medicine?" He asked messaging his head. There was a pause on the phone and then Angad started to stand up slowly. "Oh shit." He finally said. "My migraine's. No wonder I'm dieing right now." He ran to the switches and turned the lights on. He fumbled thought his stuff and didn't find it.

Kripa laughed on the other end as she heard him fumble through his stuff, "Angad statue." She said. Angad stopped. "Your medicine is in the top drawer of the computer desk." Angad walked to it and took it took.

"Water?" He asked.

"Should I come over and get it for you?" Kripa asked annoyed.

"That would help." He said sitting down and taking the glass from the other side. Kripa sighed, and Angad had his medicine. He sat back and smiled, "Thanks Kripa."

"For what?"

"For reminding me."

"Well this will be the last time. You have to remember Angad."

"I will get used to it," he sighed, "but have you thought about what I'm going to do tomorrow?"

"What?"

"Whose going to get me ready and send me to work?"

"Angad, your talking like you're my six year old son, who needs his mommy every morning."

"I don't know about that, but I need my wife every morning." He said in a low whisper.

Kripa sat up straight as the smile faded from her face, "Angad, will you do me one last favor?"

"Anything."

"Turn in our divorce papers at the court tomorrow."

"I'll ask Shahid." Angad replied.

"Good night Angad."

"Good bye Kripa." Angad put the phone down, and then sat there for a few seconds as he thought back to Kripa's words, "Turn in our divorce papers at the court tomorrow." Then angry, he took his phone and threw it across the room. "I hate myself!" He yelled, "I hate myself."

Pyaar Ka Pal: Part 48

Next morning, Angad woke up on the sofa. As soon as he opened his eyes he looked at the bed like every morning. When he found Kripa not there he realized she was never going to be there again. He sat up and looked at the watch. The first thing that struck him was; Kripa is most likely in the plane or in a nice comfy apartment, sleeping. Stood up and walked into the bathroom with his towel.

About thirty minutes later he came back out wearing a white under shirt and jeans. He opened his closet and looked at it confused. He opened the other door of his closet and found a small slip taped. He recognized Kripa's hand writing and took it off, and read it; "Good morning, Mr. Khanna. Hope you slept well, and hopefully your up in time! Your cloths are hung in the bathroom if you haven't noticed already." Angad walked into the bathroom and found a suit hung behind the door, why didn't I notice he thought. He looked at his note again, "Remember not too much coffee at office and have a proper meal. Ask Anjali if you need anything. Kripa." He folded the note and tucked it away with the other notes Kripa had ever written to her, from the time they had met. He had printed out every e-mail and kept every letter. He changed into his off-white suit and the walked out the room. He went into the kitchen and took out some juice and gulped it down. Then went back to his room. Despite of the fact, ties didn't suit him he still wore them. Right now he walked around the room in black socks, his collar lifted up and a black undone tie handing from it. He walked around the room confused, finding his files. He stood facing his back to the room when someone held out his briefcase. Angad quickly turned and was disappointed to see Anjali standing there. "Disappointed huh?" Angad took the case from her; set it down on the bed and then opened it. Everything was in place. "Kripa gave it to me last night, with it gave me a list of does and don'ts. There's a copy for you as well!" Angad looked at Anjali. He heard the sarcasm in her voice now, "It's funny, I thought you didn't love, and she didn't love you?" Angad stood up and walked to the mirror. He fixed his collar, and then looked at his tie confused. He hadn't wore a tie in the past two months because Kripa wasn't ready to tie it for him. Angry he threw the tie on the bed, and turned around to see a smiling Anjali. She walked to him and put her hand on his cheek. "I've known you longer than Kripa, yet she understands you more than I do, she understands you more than you understands yourself. She knows you better then your self. How did you think she doesn't love you?"

Angad broke into tears and sat on the bed now. Anjali instead on comforting her walked out the room.

About fifteen minutes later Angad still sat on the bed crying. But now his room was a mess, his files were all over the floor. He left someone's hand on his shoulder and assumed it was Anjali. "Why are you crying?" She asked.

"Because I miss her." He said.

"Who?" She asked.

"Kripa, who else."

"But you had promised me you won't cry after me?" She said. Now Angad froze, he removed his hands from his eyes and slowly looked to his right, and saw a smiling Kripa sitting there. Slowly he took her face in his hands, she was really there.

"Kripa, w-w-what are you doing here?" He asked standing up. Kripa looked around the room and saw the mess. She figured that Angad had slept on the sofa, she picked his tie up and walked to him, after she stood in front of him, she lifted his collars, and started tying his tie around him.

"All flights to France, were cancelled for some reason. So I decided to come over and get the papers and file them myself." She said as she fixed his collar.

"Oh!" Before Kripa could finish tying his tie Angad stopped it and took it off. He looked around, and picked up everything from the floor. He pilled everything up in his briefcase. Then he walked to the sofa and folded his blanket and put it away in his closet. He put his shoes and tied them. Kripa had left the room about five minutes ago. Angad sat back and looked at his watch. He still had one more hour. As he heard his stomach growl, Kripa held out his breakfast in front of him. "No thanks, I'll manage myself. You won't be here for me every morning. I need to take care of myself." He pushed the plate back, and Kripa left the room smiling. Angad went back and stood in front of the mirror. "Angad, god has given you one more chance. Take advantage of it." He thought. For a second he forgot everything. He closed his eyes, and opened them after sometime. He checked his pockets and didn't find, his phone or his wallet. The first thing he said now was, "Kripa, where's my wallet and-" Then stopped. When he turned he found Kripa standing there with his stuff. Snatching it from her he gave her a rude, "Thanks."

Yet Kripa replied sweetly, "Welcome." Angad found Kripa looking at him confused.

"What is it Kripa?" He asked. Kripa stepped closer to him and un-tucked his shirt. Angad confused looked down and saw his buttons messed up, Kripa unbuttoned the last few buttons of his shirt and fixed it. She left the last one un-buttoned and helped him with his coat. "Thanks," this time he said it more sweetly.

"Your welcome. Angad, tell me something."

"What?"

"Do you want me to go?"

Angad turned around now, "Kripa's its your choice. For me it doesn't make any difference. I just need to just get… used to living my life without you."

"Ya, right." She said sadly. Kripa walked to the table and picked up the divorce papers. She opened and check thought them one last time. She looked at the last page where both of them had forgot to sing. "Angad, we didn't sing the last page." She said turning to him. She handed him the file and he sat down and looked thought it, and singed the last page. Kripa sat beside him, and took the file, and a smiling Angad flashed through her mind. The sun reflected on her ring thought the window, distracting her. She put the file down and tried taking the ring off when Angad held her hand, "You can take this off later." He told her. The ring was mid-way up her finger. She picked up the file Again and perhaps for the last time singed, Mrs. Kripa Angad Khanna.

"Mrs. Kripa Angad Khanna," she said out loud.

Angad looked at her, and she looked at him. They both had tears in their eyes, and slowly they both stood up. "Can I drop you somewhere?" Angad asked her. Kripa nodded his head, "Court." She answered.

About thirty minutes later Angad parked the car in front of the court, they both got out and started up the steps. As each step was taken they both thought about the day one year ago when they went up these same stairs to marry each other. To tie each other's life with each other. And today they both walked up to break free. The only difference, they both were eager to enter the court a year ago, but today, they wish time stops right here. They both waited in the office for the attorney to arrive. As they waited Kripa asked Angad, "Can you drop me at the air port after this?"

"Sure. When is your flight?"

"Three." She said, as Angad checked his watch, it was only twelve they had two hours. A petite lady entered the office, and took the files from Angad.

She sat down and reviewed there paper work. "Well, because you have been married for only a year we have to put you on a six months hold."

"Can any of us be out of time for that time?" Kripa asked.

"Yes, but you have to be here when the date arrives six months from now." She said.

Angad and Kripa finished a few formalities and then left. They reached the air port around eleven thirty. Kripa checked in and then turned to Angad.

"I won't say good bye, because we have to see each other in six months."

Angad just smiled.

"Angad?" He turned and saw Prithvi behind him.

"Prithvi, hi."

"You guys going some where?" He asked. Before Angad could reply his phone rang and he excused himself.

"Hello."

"Angad, it's Shahid."

"Ya?"

"Don't let Kripa go." He pleaded.

"WHAT?"

"What, what. Don't let her go. That's it."

"Why?" Angad asked.

"You love her Angad." Shahid said.

"I know I do, but she's standing in front of me hugging Prithvi." He sighed. Kripa was standing there hugging Prithvi, and she had no idea Angad was watching.

"Ok, that makes it easier for me to explain, look if he loved Prithvi she would have divorced you and went to Prithvi. But instead she is going away. Yes maybe she doesn't love anyone. But what if Prithvi approaches her later on. At that point she won't have a choice."

"She can't marry Prithvi!" Angad scoffed.

"Yes she can. Angad you have to try. For Kripa."

"I'm not going to." And he hung up. Prithvi walked away from a crying Kripa, and then Angad walked to Kripa.

"Got everything?" He asked her.

"Ya."

"Well, then, I guess…. Bye." Angad turned to leave when Kripa caught his hand. Angad turned and looked at Kripa, "Will you miss me?" She asked. Angad nodded, and then hugged her. They parted and Kripa walked away. Before turning into the next aisle she turned and saw Angad walking away from her.

When Angad turned to see Kripa, he saw her walk without looking back once.

Kripa sat in the plane, with tears in her eyes. Angad on the other hand was walking back to his car. He opened the passenger door to put his jacket away when he saw Kripa's jacket on the floor. He picked it up and under it saw a light pink book. He picked it up and realized it was her diary. Someone came walking past him and he dropped the diary. When he picked it up and turned it around he saw an empty page with the letters; "I LOVE YOU ANGAD" singed Kripa. He checked the date, it was about four months ago.

Kripa on the other hand was sitting looking out the window when her phone buzzed. She had just received an SMS. She opened it and read it shocked.

Angad flipped through some more pages, and then saw the date of their anniversary. He skimmed through the page and then re-read the list few lines.

I love him, I love Angad, but how do I tell him, when he loves someone else. He doesn't love me. After waiting for him for almost a full year, I decide to give him the divorce papers today, on the day of our first marriage anniversary. For how long can I keep him tied to me? I love him, but he doesn't love me.

Angad was shocked, he closed the diary and threw it into the car and ran back into the air port.

Kripa on the other hand tried to rush out of the air plane but security stopped her. She went and sat back down and called Anjali.

"Anjali, it's Kripa."

"Ya Kripa."

"Is Shahid ok?" She asked.

"What, ya. Why wouldn't he be?"

"No, I just got an SMS saying he met with an accident."

"Kripa, someone has played a joke on you! Relax."

Kripa sat back in shock. And then soon put the phone down.

Angad ran to a counter, "The flight to France?"

"It's about to take off in five minutes." She replied.

"I need permission to enter it." Angad said panting.

"Sorry sir."

"God damn it, please understand. I have to stop my wife."

"Sorry sir." Angad looked around and saw police, instantly he reached for his wallet and took out his F.B.I. card.

"Now?" The lady sighed and gave him permission. Angad ran into the direction of the place. He entered the plane in a rush despite of many people stopping him.

Kripa was in first class and Angad was in economic still, "Sorry sir, we can't let you go."

"FBI!" He screamed.

"You still need a warrant." Angad shut his eyes as the man spoke.

"Fine, I won't go in, can I have permission to speak over the mike?"

"Ok!" The man sighed. Angad rushed to the mike, and held it close to his lips.

"Kripa…"

Kripa instantly looked around, until she heard Angad again.

"Sasoon mein basne lagi, jabse tu ho jaane jaan
Apna sa lagne laga mujhko saara jahan
Mehka mehka lagta mujhko
Khushiyo se dil ka nagar

Kripa stood from her seat and followed the sound, until she saw Angad standing in front of her. He looked at her and stepped still singing. He held her face and sang the words, crying.

Tumhari har ada, tumhari har nazar
Yeh kya kehne lagi tumhe hain kya khabar

Is kadar pyaar hain tumse ae humsafar
Ab to jeete hain hum bas tumhe dekhkar
Tumhari har ada tumhari har nazar
Yeh kya kehne lagi tumhe hain kya khabar"

After he finished he held Kripa's face, and whispered to her, "Don't leave me Kripa." His forehead met Kripa's and Kripa felt the warmth of his skin on her. Before she could get to carried away she pulled away. Everyone watched this.

"Why Angad?" She asked.

Angad stepped closer to her, "Because I need someone to remind me every day to take my medicine."

"You have Anjali for that." Kripa said looking into his eyes, in which she could clearly see how much he loved her.

Angad took one more step closer, "I need you to tie my tie when I feel like wearing one."

"Dadi can do that."

"I need you to wake me up every morning," he took one more step towards her.

"An alarm clock can do that for you!" She said crying as well.

"I need someone to tell me what to eat and what not to eat," he said taking her face in his hands.

"You can appoint your self someone who can take care of that!"

"I need someone to fight with."

"Shahid is there for you."

"I need someone who loves me."

"I don't love you." Kripa said.

"I need someone to love."

"Find your self someone on shaadi.com"

"But there's no one as good as you."

"That's not my fault."

"I need you Kripa."

"Why Angad?"

"Because I…"

"Because you what Angad?"

"Because I love you Kripa, I love you, I love you!" He dropped to his knees, and folded his hands in front of Kripa, "Because I love you."

Ladies around the plane had tears in there eyes.

Kripa bent down in front of him and held his face in her tiny hands.

"What did you say?" She asked.

"I love you Kripa." Kripa stood up, and turned around.

"It's too late Angad."

Pyaar Ka Pal: Part 49

Angad turned her around and her by the shoulder, tightly. "I love you Kripa, I need you!"

Kripa tilted her head a little now, "It took you a full year to tell me that? A whole year?" She cried. Angad pulled her closer and hugged her tightly, and they both cried in each other's arms while everyone stood up and clapped for them.

Kripa and Angad walked through the parking lot in silence. Kripa reached the handle of the door when Angad held her hand. Kripa turned and looked at him, he was crying. Slowly, put her arms around Angad and hugged him. He hugged her back, both of them trying to ponder the question if this is all true or are they both dreaming. Kripa hit Angad's arm and he pulled away yelling.

"Sorry!" She said smiling, "I was just trying to make sure that I wasn't dreaming."

Angad laughed and kissed her forehead. "It's not a dream!" He told her. "Now if your out of it, lets go home." Kripa nodded her head and they both drove away.

Angad and Kripa stood in front of the door and Angad rang the bell still looking at Kripa. He rang the bell again, Kripa looked at him and turned his face, slightly slapping his cheek. But he looked back at her. "Angad, mujhko aaisa maat dekho."

"Kyun?"

"Mujhko daar lagraha hai!"

Angad sighed and pulled Kripa closer, "When you should have been scared of me you weren't, and now your sacred of me?" He tried to kiss her but she moved her face laughing.

"And, I didn't know your were this romantic!"

"You'll know how romantic I am very soon!"

"Ya, ya. I'll know but how about we go inside for now."

He turned and looked at the door, and put his arm around her shoulder, "If your forgetting no one is home." Kripa rolled her eyes, and reached into the pocket of his coat, she took the keys out and unlocked the door!

She moved to aside and gestured her hand, as 'welcome in,' and said, "Please!"

"Without you?" He asked, cocking his eye brow.

"Without me!" She said.

Angad looked inside, it was pitch black. He stepped closer to Kripa and picked her up in his arms, "I'm not going anywhere without." Kripa put her arms around him and kissed his cheeks. Angad stepped inside and Kripa shut the door for him, he took one more step when suddenly all the lights turned on and petals of roses fell on them. They looked up and saw more roses falling on them. Then they saw the whole gang standing in front of them. Both Kripa and Angad were shocked.

"Angad, make sure Kripa doesn't fall." Shahid said laughing. Angad looked at Kripa and put her down. Not being able to hide her smile Kripa turned to Angad and hugged him hiding her face in his chest. Everyone laughed as Angad hugged her back. Shahid and Josh walked to Angad while Anjali and Aaliya walked to Kripa.

"Now tell me how did this miracle happen?" Shahid asked

Angad told them the whole story, and Shahid laughed.

"Well, it didn't work out exactly how I wanted it to."

"What?" Angad asked Shahid.

"Kripa's diary ended up in your car because I dropped it there. I send Kripa an SMS saying I had an accident, so she would run from there. But, the air hostess didn't let her. She called Anjali, who didn't know anything and Kripa knew this was all a trick. Hoping you would get to her, we sat here praying. When you guys finally hugged in the plane we here let out a sigh of relief!" Angad nor Kripa could believe Shahid.

"Now, tell me that my flights were never cancelled but I got wrong information?" Kripa asked. Shahid nodded his head smiling.

"Angad, you also set up the six month agreement, right?" Angad asked. Once again Shahid nodded his head.

"And ya," he said, "I purposely added another page to your divorce papers to make sure that you guys take it to the court together, so Angad could drop you off at the airport." Shahid concluded, proud. Kripa nor Angad were ready to even blink.

And finally they both said, "Thank you Shahid!"

"But how did you know what was going on?" Kripa asked. Shahid pulled Angad over and pointed at his button. I had inserted a camera button instead on an actually button."

They all sat and talked for sometime, and then went to their rooms. Kripa went into the bathroom to change while Angad waited did the same in the room. When Kripa came back out she found Angad SLEEPING! Shocked she walked to him and sat beside him. After caressing his forehead for a few second, she decided to work on the computer. When she moved to stand up, she felt Angad grab her hand. She sat back and looked at Angad smiling at her. He pulled her down, and looked into her eyes intensely. "Kripa."

"Hmm?"

"You still haven't said the three words."

Kripa smiled like a naught brat now, "what are you talking about?" Angad let go of Kripa and turned his back to her.

Kripa smiled seeing him angry like this, she bend down and placed her chin on his arm. Then slowly she kissed his arm and then his cheek. Angad laid straight and looked at her now. She went closer to him and placed her lips near his ear, and passionately she whispered, "I love you Angad."

Angad took her in his arms, and she happily hugged him back.

"I love you too, Kripa."

Minutes later, Kripa was sitting while Angad laid in her lap, hugging her around the waist. Angad looked at Kripa, who was busy reading with one hand playing with Angad's hair. "Kripa…"

"Hmm?"

"You should have married your books." He said sitting up.

Kripa closed her book, took her glasses of, and put them aside. She moved closer to Angad and kissed him, "Why?"

"Because they get to be with you more than I do." He said.

Kripa laughed, "I'm sorry. Ok, tell me, what do you want?"

"I want to ask you something."

"What?"

"Why did you decide to divorce me?" He looked at Kripa, and she looked back at him, then she simply smiled and hugged him.

"I thought you didn't love me."

"Well, you knew that before too, then why didn't you leave me then?"

"I had hope."

"Then you suddenly gave up?" He asked confused.

Kripa looked at him now, "Do we have to talk about this?"

"Um… no. But I just wanted to know."

"Is it not enough that I'm here with you now?" She asked, and Angad nodded his head. "Good. Now why don't you tell me that what took you so long to tell me what I've wanted to hear for years now."

Angad straightened up, and looked down at his figures, "I was scared."

"Of what?"

"Loosing you." Kripa looked at Angad's flushed face and took his face in her tiny hands.

"Do you want to know for how long I've loved you?" Angad nodded his head saying no, then said yes, "I've loved you from the time you asked to winter formal. I loved you from the time we danced at the grand hall, when we met years after. I loved you from the time I remember, and you thought you would loose me?" Her voice was soft and soothing, Angad wiped her tears and kissed both her eyes.

"I'm sorry Kripa, I've made you cry enough. But I promise there won't be place of tears in your eyes, never. And I wasn't scared you would reject me, I was scared you leave you behind." Kripa was looked at him in disbelief. "I was scared to die and leave you behind. I was scared to start family and then…" he paused for a second, "I knew you loved me, that's why before going into coma I told Shahid that he will keep an eye on you and never tell you where I am. But you found out. When I saw you I decided to loose my memory. When I found out that you cancelled your marriage with Prithvi because of me I purposely left my phone in your car so you would come back to give it to me and then I would accident blurt out thing and you will come to know that I never lost me memory."

A million drops of tears ran down Kripa all at once. Not being able to take any more she ran to the window and stood there crying.

Yet Angad, continued. "Just like I wanted you started to hate me and agreed to marry Prithvi. I thought you would forget me and move on with Prithvi. But when Shahid told me that you are never going to forget me, and your going to marry Prithvi to hurt me, I knew for a fact that you would never forget me." Angad walked to Kripa and put his arms around her shoulders, and stood behind her kissing her everyone in a while and then he continued again. "When I saw you leave the house I followed you, and thank god I did. Then when you asked me to marry you I agreed thinking that I would marry you and bother you so much you would be compelled to leave me. But every time I tried, it hurt me more than it hurt you. And after Kris we got closer. The first time I woke up with you in my arms everything seemed perfect. But from your attitude I thought you didn't love me." He held her tighter when he felt her shiver against his, running both his hand on her arms, "Then the night you found out that I was an FBI agent and the things you said to me, I fell apart. And I was convinced you never loved me, just had a soft corner for me as a friend. And out of anger I filled your maang that night, and each word I said after that hurt me more than it had hurt you. But of course, we promised each other that we would ruin our lives, but it just didn't happen. Instead we got closer. And my feeling just grew for you. I wanted to tell you after I saw you dancing with Prithvi, but then again I was held back by the fact my life had no guarantee." Kripa turned around and hugged Angad now, he calmed her down and made her sit down, then sitting next to her he continued. "We our relation got more and more distant. But when we did start staring, spending so much time together, I think I understood you so much more. So many old memories rekindled." Kripa smiled thinking back to the times spent with each other, Angad was happy to finally see her smile. "Remember what you told me that night?" Angad asked.

Kripa smiled, "If you were the last person alive I wouldn't love you. Today I say that if I had a million other people to choose from I would still choose you." Angad kissed Kripa as she spoke. "Now continue!" Kripa said smiling.

"Well, we spend so much good time with each other, then you left me in shock when you asked me how much time it would take me to realize my love for you. And we went thought another strained part of our lives."

"Angad, do you remember that I said that night my life was almost perfect."

"And I asked why was it 'almost' perfect, and you said you were missing something and you would tell me when you got that thing."

"It was you." Kripa sighed.

Angad rested his head on Kripa's shoulder, "That same night when you told me that you did love me I was shocked. I didn't know what to do. I tried to stay away from you but it wouldn't work, and each and everyday I just saw your love for me grow. And then all those notes you send me were just adorable. Everything was falling together when you told me that you had got your assignment, I was broken when you said you would be gone for a year, and then I was ready to die when you said that you would have to leave on our first anniversary. I would loose you, the fear spread over me and that same day I decided that on the day of our first anniversary I would start my life with you newly. And then we took our trip, where you told me that you didn't love me. What happened after that is history!" Angad sighed, "That was my sad story! But I want to know why you said you didn't love me when you did?"

Kripa stood up and walked to the window, a few minutes later she felt Angad's arms around her and he kissed her shoulder, "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to."

"I don't want to but I will."

"Ok."

"Actually, I thought, that you… well… loved… Neha."

"WHAT?" He screamed.

Kripa turned and looked at him, biting her lower lip, "Sorry."

"Well, I guess it's ok. Even I thought you loved Prithvi for a second!" He sighed, "and actually I hope you did. Now that I think about it, Neha would be a much better life partner than you!"

Kripa hit Angad playfully, and Angad hugged her to stop her, "I hate you Angad, I really do."

"That's nice," he said pulling away. He picked up a pillow and threw it on sofa.

"Angad what are you doing?" Kripa asked worried.

"I'm setting up the sofa for you," he laid down on the bed and pulled the sheets over him. Kripa stood in one place confused. Angad opened one eye and looked at her, Kripa saw this and smiled. She turned the light off, pulled Angad's pillow from under his head, threw it on his face and then went and laid on the sofa. Angad walked to the sofa and turned the lights on.

"Angad, can I sleep?"

"No," he picked he up and carried her to the bed. After setting her down he looked at her, his face just a few inches away from hers, "jab tumsa itna door hokar maina tumko aapnasa door nahie hona diya, tho ab jo tum mera pass ho, main tumko aapna sa itna door kaisa rehna do?" Angad moved down to kiss her but Kripa rolled on the bed and Angad fell on his face, Kripa laid on the other side laughing. Angad gave her a evil glare and laid beside her locking her by putting his arm around her. "Ab batao tum kaha jaogi?" He teased.

"Angad, let me go!" She begged, laughing.

"No!"

"Please."

"No."

"Angad, jaana do na please."

He held her tighter, "No."

Kripa hit his hand and ran from there. Angad caught her while she was pinned to the wall. He held her around the waist and looked into her eyes, intensely. After taking a few steps closer he pressed him self against her, Kripa looked at him and then closed her eyes when he brought his himself even closer.

Angad could hear her heart thumping, and he could feel her hot breath against him. Kripa shivered until Angad's lips touched her cheek. The warmth lingered her cheek as her arms slid around him, moving up his back. He kissed her other cheek and Kripa pulled him closer until she could feel his heart thumping against her. Angad now hugged Kripa tightly. Neither one of them could still believe that all this was true.

Kripa broke from her trance when she heard Angad's voice reach her ears, "Kripa promise me something."

Kripa parted from him and looked into his eyes, "Anything." She said.

"You will be by my side no matter what, till the last day of my lif-"

"Ssshhh!" She put her finger on his lips, "This moment is too beautiful Angad, and I don't want to ruin it. And, I will support you, be at your side when ever you need me, where ever you need me. All you have to do is close your eyes and remember me, and I will be right in front of you when you open your eyes."

"Kripa," Angad said tracing her cheek.

"Hmm?"

"Can I kiss you?" He asked.

Kripa smiled at his question, she bend forward and then pushed him away and walked to the bed laughing, Angad stayed where he was smiling to himself. He went and laid beside Kripa.

"Good night Angad." Kripa said turning the other way.

"Good night? Ya right. I have so much to tell you and your saying good night?" He said; Kripa turned and looked at him.

"Like?"

"Like," he moved forward and Kripa covered his mouth with her hand. "Angad, tum bauth shararti ho!"

Angad made a cute face and then turned his face, Kripa smiled and hugged him from the back, and after closing the light they both went to sleep, while Angad still asked her a few million times how much she loved him. And after saying a last, 'I love you,' of the night they both went to sleep.

Next morning Angad woke up only to find Kripa not next to him. He sat up and looked around the house was quite and it was only seven. There was no one in the bathroom, and it was quite out side as well. It was snowing softly, and the last thing he noticed was that instead on Kripa, a pillow was in his arms. For a second he wanted to think all this was all just a dream, was it a dream? And if it wasn't where was Kripa?

Pyaar Ka Pal: Part 50

It was around nine, Kripa wasn't back, if everything was true, and Dadi had left to work. Anjali was gone shopping with Aaliya while Shahid was out running some errands.

After ruining three cups of tea Angad finally managed to make himself a decent cup of tea, of course not as good as Kripa would have done, but good enough for the time being.

He stood next to his window and watched the snow fall, so gentle. He put his cup down and hugged himself. As he ran his hands up and down his arm he felt good bumps.

Yet he look, sexy. The tight white vest made it clear how much he worked out. Each and every muscle in his arm could be counted. He stood there sipping on his coffee little by little, when he felt someone's arms around him. He instantly turned around and found a smiling Kripa in front of him. He quickly hugged her, almost as if he was frightened. Kripa held him as well, but confused.

"Angad, tum itna dara hua kyun ho," She asked a few minutes later as she made him sit down on the unmade bed. She looked at him, and hugged him again, realizing what was going on in Angad's mind, "I'm sorry Angad, I shouldn't have left without telling you, I just… had an emergency at the hospital and I had to go." Kripa's words intoxicated Angad, and he seemed to forget everything. He parted and kissed her forehead, "Promise me won't leave me like this ever again?" Kripa smiled, nodded her head and hugged him again.

Angad had to go to the FBI quarters and Kripa went to office till then and asked Dadi to come back home and rest.

Kripa was on the phone, when she saw Angad walking into the office from the main door, everyone greeted the extremely happy Angad. Kripa smiled, finished her conversation and hung up. She fiddled with her ring as she observed Angad walk around the office in style, checking files, and singing papers that awaited his signatures.

Finally, he walked into the cabin and smiled to Kripa who looked away. He grinned as he saw Kripa eyes lower at the sight of him. He walked to her behind her and turned her chair around. After kneeling in front of her he kissed her hands. Kripa smiled at him, in the past twelve hours Kripa had lived the most beautiful moments of her life with Angad, all she wanted now was to live the rest of her life with Angad, in his arms.

Angad looked into the soft tones of Kripa's brown eyes. He could tell she was thinking of something… extremely, pleasant. "So Mrs. Kripa Angad Khanna, what are you thinking about," He finally asked.

"Us," She replied rising from her chair.

"Us, huh?" He stood from his position and followed Kripa to the glass cabinet. She reached into it and placed her hand on a thick, cherry hard covered book. Before, she could take it out Angad's hand was on top of hers. It send currents through her body.

Kripa loosened her hand and took her hand away, and turned around. But Angad took her arm and pinned her against the side of the cabinet. "Angad, leave me!"

He came closer to her and kissed her neck, "No."

"Angad, koi dekh le ga." She said trying to push him away, yet giggling.

"No," He said again. He kissed her again and again, until Kripa pushed him away, and ran to her seat. Angad sat in front of her and watched her work. His chin in his hand.

"Angad, stop it!" She said slapping his hand.

"What?"

Kripa smiled like a kid, "Ok, give me that file." She told him, but he didn't. "Angad, give me that file!" He still didn't. Kripa sighed and reached and grabbed her file, but Angad grabbed her hand.

"We just got married Kripa, and your at the office?" He complained. Kripa pressed her lips together to hide her smile. She walked to Angad and sat on the black leather chair beside him.

"Waisa, yeh tho meri line honi chaiya thi naa?" She said. "And, we have been married for one year now."

"Well, then we just "got together" yesterday!" He said pulling the chair closer.

"Angad, your too much."

"I know!"

Kripa smiled and stood up, Angad stood up with her and pulled her closer, "Can't we take the day off?" He asked.

Kripa smiled and hugged him, "Anything for you!"

Happily Angad hugged her back, until they heard someone clear their throat. Without letting go of Kripa, he looked at the door and found Shahid standing there. "Good afternoon!" He greeted.

Kripa pulled away after stomping on Angad's feet and went to her desk. Shahid laughed with Kripa as they saw Angad sit down. "Hi Shahid, so nice to see you!" Anagd said in a sarcastic tone.

Shahid walked to Kripa and stood beside her, "Bhhi vah! Kya baat hai! Pelha inko saath dekhna ka liya aakhaan taras thi thie. Aur ab…" He sighed.

"Shahid, just shut-up ok." Kripa said sitting down.

"Ok, sorry."

"Ab, raavan aa he gya ho tho batao, kya kaam hai?" Angad said throwing a pen at him.

"I have some good news and some bad news." Shahid said putting her arms around Kripa. "Now tell me, what would you like first."

"Bad news." Kripa said.

"Ok, Angad and I, have to go out of city for a week." Kripa and Angad both lost the color from their faces.

"What's the good news?" Angad said not at all excited.

"Well, our marriage has been fixed for fixed for next months, 30th."

"And, what's so good about that?" Angad asked angry.

"That, you guys get to go for a honeymoon with us for three weeks!" Shahid said looking at Kripa. "Of course, Angad hates that so I will get your ticket cancelled, Kripa can come with us." Shahid said pulling her towards him.

"Haha, very funny. What will Kripa do without me?" Angad said pulling her towards him.

"Cholo we should ask Kripa. Who will you go with?" Shahid asked.

Kripa pointed at Shahid and then looked at Angad, and hugged him, "Angad of course!"

Anagd smiled proudly as he won this childish game. "Oh! I see how it is." Shahid said sadly. And then they all laughed. Kripa finished a few last minute things and they left.

After dinner Kripa and Angad strolled on the beach. They walked in silence for a long time. Kripa watched other couples sit holding each other, others walking hand in hand. As she watched them she felt Angad's warm hand slip into hers. Kripa looked at him and smiled. She held his hand and made him stop. Angad looked into her eyes and held her face in his hands, "Do you have to go?" She asked hugged him.

Angad smiled, he didn't want to leave Kripa at the same time was happy to see that she didn't want him to leave.

"I do." He finally said.

"Why?"

"Um… I don't know why."

Kripa pulled away and looked at him, "Angad, I really hate you."

"So do I!" Angad said kissing her. "Come on, now lets go home." He started to walk again but Kripa held his hand. Angad looked at her and pulled her closer, "Can I tell you something?" She asked him.

"What?" Angad said holding her.

"I love you."

Angad smiled mischievously, "Really?"

"Yes."

"Well, then, I love you as well!"

They stood their hugging each other for some time and then went back home.

*******

Shahid was hugging Anjali while Angad held Kripa tightly. Anjali quickly left due to some problem while Kripa stayed. Shahid decided to leave the two alone until he checked in.

"Angad, you have your past port?"

"Ya!"

"And your ticket, and boarding pass?"

"Haan baba. I have it all!" Kripa smiled as he kissed her forehead. "I love you!"

"Jooth." Kripa said pushing his away.

"Kyun?"

"Aagar pyaar kartha tho mujhko choor kar nahie jata." She folded her hands in front of her and turned slightly away from Angad. Angad loved seeing Kripa like this. He brought her closer and kissed her cheek once more. "I will be back by next Thursday!" He said softly. Kripa looked at him sadly. "Kripa aagar tum aaisa karogi tho main jaa nahie paoga."

"Thi maat jao!"

Angad just looked at her, and defeated she hugged him tightly, "I'll miss you."

"Me to." He replied.

Shahid smiled watching them hug and then walked to them, "Chala Mr. Romeo?"

"Haan!" He replied, he quickly checked his stuff, kissed Kripa once more and left.

Kripa watched him leave and then left.

Angad was walking when he suddenly remembered, "Shahid, I left my phone in the car."

"Angad?"

"I'll be quick." He ran back and looked around and saw Kripa walking though the empty parking lot. He quietly crept behind her, then hold her hand he pulled her against him. Kripa looked at him and took a deep breath.

"Angad, what are you doing here?"

"Nothing much, I'm not going anymore."

"Really?" Kripa asked happily.

Angad nodded his head left and right like a little kid and Kripa was disappointed, "Kya chaiya?" She asked.

"Kiss?" He asked moving closer.

"Who tho tabhi milga gi jab wapis aaoga."

"A quick one?" He begged.

"No." He let go o her and got his cell phone, and then made Kripa sat in her car, but Kripa stood in front of him closing the door.

"Kripa, roona maat. Please." Kripa made a baby face and hugged him, Angad sighed and hugged her back. She pulled away, did kiss him and made him leave.

Angad turned around one last time and waved to her and then left. Kripa left home as well. She entered her room and then locked it. She changed and then sat in her bed reading, constantly thinking about Angad. Finally she decided to just put her book down and go to sleep. And after a long day, she fell asleep right away.

A week dragged, Kripa went to the hospital and to the office, did all the normal things. But the best thing that happened was that Kripa found out something that made her a happier person all together. When she had heard Neha confessing her love, she was practicing with Angad because she was scared to tell PRITHVI! Yes, Kripa found out that Neha and Prithvi were in love. And they had announced that they would get engaged in one month. Kripa was happy, and she couldn't wait to tell Angad. But, it all washed away when Angad told Kripa had would have to stay an extra day while Shahid came back. The sad part was that Angad would miss Kripa's birthday. And, Kripa just wanted to be with Angad that day.

Kripa entered the house on her birthday around eight. Angad hadn't called her, Dadi, Anjali, Shahid, Josh, and Aaliya had forgotten her birthday. She unlocked the door and entered the house. It was dark and no was home. She was dressed in a red sari as she had just got back from the temple. She took her shoes off and sat on the sofa and poured herself a glass of water as she gulped it the phone rang, expecting Angad she quickly picked it up.

"Angad?" But it was just a wrong number.

Kripa put the phone down; sat back and sighed. Then she stood up and stepped on the cold marble floor when suddenly all the lights went on and a group yelled, "Surprise!!!!" Shocked, Kripa jumped and turned to see Shahid, Josh, Anjali, Aaliya, Neha, and Prithvi standing there. She looked around to find Angad but couldn't find her. He had forgotten. She smiled and walked to the group. Everyone hugged her and wished her, finally she reached Shahid and he hugged her tightly.

"Happy birthday!" He said as Kripa stood in his arms for some more time, finally she parted and smiled at him.

"Thanks Shahid," Shahid noticed her eyes wander around, then at the door. Shahid smiled to see an impatient Kripa.

Kripa heard someone near her, thinking it was Angad she turned but saw Josh standing there with a wrapped present. Kripa took it from him and said her thanks.

"Come on Kripa, cheer up." Shahid said as the music turned up a little.

Kripa smiled and made her way thought everyone. She tried to call Angad again and again but he wouldn't pick up, it went busy. Then she dialed again and it rang and she heard a ring around her as well. She turned and saw Shahid in front of her.

"Dance?" He asked. Kripa smiled and danced with him, as Shahid turned her around Kripa saw a smiling Angad across the room. She left Shahid and walked but Angad was gone. Depressed she turned and saw Angad stand across the room. Kripa closed her eyes thinking he wasn't there, when she opened it he was still there. He was there! Kripa slowly walked towards him and stood in front of him.

Everyone was busy around them and Kripa had tears streaming from her eyes. Anagd held her hand and kissed it pulling her closer. He kissed her forehead and Kripa hugged him tightly.

As Kripa hugged him she heard him whisper into her ear, "Happy Birthday my Princess." Kripa pulled away and laughed.

"I love you my Prince." Angad kissed her again and they hugged again. Then Angad took Kripa's hand and pulled her out of the house.

A few minutes later they both stood in the front garden on a swing. Kripa was looking into the sky while hugging Angad tightly.

Angad on the other hand was looking at her. Kripa felt his stare and slowly looked at him, Angad's brown eyes looked seductive. Kripa slowly looked away, but then looked back and Angad's gaze held her for a few seconds until Kripa turned with her cheeks a pink color. Angad held her in his arms once again.

The house had gone quite Again. While everyone had dinner Shahid looked at Kripa and Angad smiling. Anjali walked to him and held his hand in her warm hand. Shahid looked at her and kissed her softly putting his arm around her shoulder. "Anjali, I'm really happy for them!"

"Me too." Shahid and Anjali left the window and joined everyone else to eat. No one bothered calling Angad and Kripa because everyone knew they needed time with each other.

Pyaar Ka Pal: Part 51

Angad laid in Kripa's lap as she ran her hands though his hair. His eyes were closed and it was evident he was extremely tired after his trip. Kripa had so much to tell him but she decided to let him rest. For a second she thought he was sleeping, so she reached the blanket and pulled it over him still playing with his hair.

Kripa had madly been in love with Angad for years now and finally she could confidently say that he loved her as well, she could tell people truly how happy she was with Angad. She could tell everyone that there was someone who loved him a lot. Someone who could do anything for her, as she loved him back just as much. Kripa thought herself to be simply lucky to have Angad as her husband.

She looked back at him and kissed him. Angad opened his eyes and smiled at Kripa. He sat up and took Kripa in his arms, "I love you," he mumbled.

This was strange, how often did Angad just hold her and tell her he loved her? Kripa felt Angad getting comfortable in her arms, like a small baby would. "Kripa, I'm waiting for you answer."

"Oh, yes, I love you too."

"That's like my sweet wife!"

"Angad are you ok?"

Angad pulled away and looked at her, "Why?"

"Your being to nice to me, and it's not suiting you!"

Angad narrowed his eyes, and now Kripa leaned in and kissed him softly, "You're the sweetest husband ever!"

"And you're the worst wife ever!"

"Why?"

"I don't know I just felt like saying that. But, honestly you're the best ever!"

"Now tell me you don't have to go anywhere for a few years," she said cuddling in his arms.

"Why?"

"I don't want to be away from you!"

"Why?"

"Because I love you."

Angad heard her getting tired, "Can we sleep now?"

"Yes." Angad replied, "And I have a surprise for you."

"When?"

"Tomorrow!"

"Ok."

"Well, its ready but your too tired for it." Kripa sat up and looked at her husband now.

"What is it?"

"You want to see it?"

Kripa nodded, she hadn't changed out of her red, halter top sari and that was good, he didn't have to wait for her anymore. "Come on then!"

They both drove down the streets of London. "Where are we going?"

"To your old house."

"Why?"

"That's the surprise. You will know."

"Ok!"

Soon the arrived at Kripa's old house, and Angad took her inside. The place was dark, and the house was lit by candles.

Kripa gasped, it was beautiful. She held Angad's arm and continued looking around. "Kripa."

"Yes."

"Do you remember when I filled your maang, only to prove I owned you." Kripa looked at Angad, his eyes were moist, and he was feeling sorry about it.

"Yes."

"You know not once I have done that with all my love."

Kripa smiled and hugged him, "Angad, you love me, that's enough for me." She looked up at him her arms still around him, she smiled wider when she caught a smile cross Angad's lips. "I have your surprise in your old bedroom." He said, "Go!"

"Without you?"

"Without me." Kripa walked up the stairs and turned to her room. Angad waited for her for about thirty minutes, when she didn't come back he decided to go up himself. He opened the door and found Kripa standing near the window, wearing a red garment, and a jacket around her shoulders. Angad remembered it was the same jacket he had given her when they met after three long years. She turned around, and Angad recognized the outfit, it was the one he had left for her. Angad had always wanted to see Kripa dressed as him bride. And tonight, was the day. He walked to her, she looked beautiful. Her hair was tired in a loose bun with a few strands of hair framing her face, she allowed the jacket drop to the floor, and reviled the blouse of her outfit. It was a beautiful crimson color, as she wore a nothing more than a mangal sutra in her neck, she was wearing matching red churiyaan. As she took a few steps towards Angad it was evident that she was also wearing anklets. She stood in front of him and held out sindoor in her palm. Angad took the sindoor from her and applied it onto her forehead. As he did Kripa closed her eyes, and tears spilled, and Angad wiped them. He pulled her closer and whispered into her ear, "Tum roota hui bilkul aachi nahie lagthi."

Kripa opened her eyes and hugged him tightly, Angad hugged her back passionately. "Angad, tum nahie jantha maina is pal ka aapni poori zindagi intzaar kiya hai."

"Aur maina tumhara, aapni poori zindagi intzaar kiya hai." Angad pulled away and kissed her softly.

"Come on, now lighten up the moon a little." Kripa smiled and turned around to leave the room when Anagd pulled her back. Kripa looked into his intense eyes, as he brushed her hair off her face. At his touch, Kripa felt herself stiffen and loosen both at the same time. She waited until she opened her eyes again. Angad traced her cheek with his thumb, and then pulled her closer. Kripa slowly closed her eyes again, and for the first time their lips met, why the first? When they had kissed for the first time in school, it was no more than a crush, and that night when Anagd kissed her it was simply a peck not a kiss.

Angad's lips pressed softly against Kripa's, but soon the soft, tender kiss turned passionate. And, for the first time they both realized how long they had waited for each other, call it love or lust, it was there. For the first time they both realized they were waiting for each other, waiting for this perfect moment. And, right now all those years were worth waiting for. What didn't make sense was kiss a kiss could do something like this to both of them.

When Anagd finally broke the kiss, he looked at Kripa who was breathing heavily. In the silver night she looked even more beautiful then she had ever before. Kripa looked back at him, startled when suddenly she heard thunder rumble outside. Kripa embraced Anagd, who lead her to the bed and made her sit down. She held to him like a little girl, scared. Angad smiled, as he reached for her bun and allowed her hair to loosely hand down her back.

For a few minutes Kripa sat beside Angad, in his arms. Her hair gently flying over her face. Angad, couldn't take his eyes off her, she was absolutely gorgeous. Kripa felt his gaze, and the intensity in his eyes and blushed. Angad softly kissed her again. Kripa felt herself hold his arm tighter, almost as if she was scared of the moment, scared that this was all a dream, scared that what if something went wrong in this perfect moment. And, for once she thought maybe, maybe they should give each other a little more time. She got up from the bed and dragged to the window. Angad followed her; hugged her from the back. Kissing her shoulder and up her neck. He softly kissed her cheek, and Kripa turned hugging Angad. Angad carried her back to the bed, and set her down on the bed. Angad kissed her forehead, both her eyes, both her cheeks, the tip of her nose and then skipped to her neck.

Kripa moved her hand and her bangles jingled. Angad kissed her hand and slowly took all her bangles off setting them aside, then he kissed both her feet and took her anklets off.

Each time his lips met Kripa's skin she felt more beautiful, she felt like she was his, that Angad Khanna was the only man who owned her, and she liked the fact that he "owned" her, because that's exactly what she had wanted.

After a long night Kripa had fallen asleep in Angad's arms wrapped into a bed sheet. Angad on the other hand couldn't sleep. He wanted to stay up all night and hold Kripa in his arms and look at her, make up for everyday he had missed. He wanted to make up for every grief he had given Kripa.

Kripa shifted still sleeping, but once again Anagd pulled her closer, with tears in his eyes. His tears traveled down his cheeks to her cheeks and she woke up slowly. She pulled away and looked at Angad crying. She was scared, why was he crying?

With shiver hands she moved to wipe his tears but Angad held her hand and kissed it. And, after some time he whispered, "I'm sorry Kripa." That was the last thing she wanted to hear right now. Angad parted his lips to speak again but this time Kripa pressed her finger to his lips, and got closer to him.

"For what?"

"For everything I've done to you. Every time I've made you cry. For…"

"It's not your fault Angad."

"Can I ask you something?" Angad asked kissing her forehead.

"Yes."

"If you knew we were going to go through all this after getting married would you be willing to marry me again?"

He pulled her closer, but Kripa kept looking at him. She kissed his chest softly and hugged him tightly under the thick blanket. "Yes." That's all she said, and that's all Anagd wanted to hear. Yes.

Angad felt Kripa's Kripa's warm hands on his back slowly slipping down as she started falling asleep again. And until Anagd was awake not once he took his eyes off of her.

****

Two months later, Angad was sitting in a hospital waiting for Kripa to come out after she had fainted in the office. Angad had rushed her to the hospital worried sick for her. A few minutes later Anjali came out with a worried look on her face. Angad ran to her and stood in front of her, waiting for her to talk.

"You can go see her," that's all she said.

He opened the door and went inside. Kripa was laying on the bed with her eyes closed, not looking depressed or sad but happy, and peaceful. Angad was having a hard time walking to her. He swallowed a few times and then placed himself beside her and with shivering hands caressed her forehead. Kripa opened her eyes as she felt his hand on her forehead.

"Kripa, are you ok." She heard the nervousness in his voice. She was confused why was he so nervous?

"Why are you so nervous Angad?"

"Why I shouldn't be, and even Anjali was nervous. What's wrong with you Kripa? Are you ok? Why shouldn't I be worried?"

"Angad? Do you have the number to the mental asylum?"

"For who?"

"You sweetheart."

"Oh, but I don--- WHAT?"

Kripa laughed, "Angad? Really what's wrong with you?"

"Kripa look just tell me what's wrong with you."

"Nothing is wrong with me I'm just pregnant."

"What? Kripa that's a horrible illness. And your saying your just you are pregnant?" He paused and looked at her, and her smile which had reached into her eyes, "You are pregnant?"

She nodded her head.

"No your not."

"WHAT?"

"Ya you can't be pregnant."
"Angad have you lost you brain? And, why I can't be?"

"No, I haven't lost my brain. And, you can't be pregnant because Anjali was not happy about it."

Kripa rolled her eyes and sighed, "Angad just leave."

Angad looked at her for a few seconds, "So you really are pregnant?"

"Uh! Ya."

"As in you are carrying my baby?"

"No, actually, I'm carrying Santa Clauses baby. Angad, get a life."

"So that mean in less that eight months I be playing with a little baby who will run around the house screaming and yelling?"

"Yes Anagd."

"Serious?"

"Yes Angad."

Angad smiled, and bend down and kissed Kripa, "I love you!"

"That's better! Now go get that Anjali who just made my life so much harder in the past five minutes."

"No need for that. Lets go home for now."

"Ok." She put her feet down on the floor but before she could stand up Angad scooped her up into his arms and she kissed him softly and they made their way home.

Pyaar Ka Pal: Part 52

Kripa was eight months pregnant when she found out that she will have complications during her deliver. She would be delivering almost any day now and Angad is worried. Not for his child, but for Kripa.

Angad is sitting in his room, his head in his hands when Kripa comes in. She closed the door behind her and walks to Angad. She can tell he has been crying for a long time now. She places a shivering hand on his shoulder and he looks up at her. Kripa looks at him for a few seconds and then sits in his lap and wipes his tears.

"I'm sorry I'm heavy," she whispers putting her head on his shoulder.

"No your not."

Kripa kisses him and makes him face her. "Angad don't worry. Nothing can happen to me. I'm not going to leave you like this so soon."

"Kripa, your impossible. I'm so serious, aur tumko maazak sooj raha hai?" Kripa moved beside him and tucked her self under his arm.

"Then don't be serious Angad. No one can part us. And, you know doctors they like to scare us. Don't worry, I'm going to be fine, and so is your daughter." Kripa smiled at Angad, and he finally smiled back placing his hand on Kripa's large belly.

"I love you Kripa."

"I love you too."

*******

Angad is pacing the lobby of the hospital, he can hear Kripa screaming and crying in pain.

Kripa's labor pains started about three hours ago and she's still there. The doctors are worried they might have to operate her, and maybe they can only save one person. Either Kripa or their daughter. Angad, insists on saving Kripa while Kripa is insisting on saving their daughter. Angad knows well that if anything happens to Kripa he will never be able to love her daughter. She will never get the love, care, and attention that she is suppose to get.

Angad noticed Dadi and Shahid coming his way. But before they could talk to him a doctor came rushing out. "Mr. Khanna."

"Yes doctor?"

"I'm sorry but…"

"But what doctor??"

"We can only save one person. And, you have to decide who."

"That's a silly question of course my wife." Angad yelled. He grabbed the papers from the doctors hand and singed them. The doctors rushed back in and Angad turned to Shahid and Dadi.

"Why is this happening to me? What did I do wrong?" Dadi hugged Angad and he cried.

"It's ok beta. And, I'm proud that you decided to save Kripa. You can have your child again but Kripa isn't going to come back. Believe in you Angad, and leave everything else to god." Angad left Dadi stood near Kripa's door.

***********

Hours passed and no one would tell them anything. Angad was scared to close his eyes and therefore didn't sleep all night. He had decided if anything happened to Kripa he would die himself. After, years of waiting he got Kripa. No way in hell could he loose her now. And, that to specially for someone he has never seen before. He possibly couldn't love his daughter more that Kripa. The same Kripa who he has loved from almost eight years now. How could he possibly sacrifice Kripa for someone who has never seen, talked to or touched.

Anagd was thinking about this for only one reason. He didn't want to think otherwise. He wanted to say determined about his decisions.

He wiped his tears and saw the doctors come out. Angad quickly rushed to them. "Doctor my wife?"

"Mr. Khanna we could---" Angad didn't let them finish and ran into her room. There he saw Kripa laying on the bed. She was sleeping, she was alive. Anagd knew this because he saw her stomach expand upwards and then flatten again. He smiled and slowly walked to her.

He sat on the bed beside her and slowly caressed her hair. Kripa shifted her head and then slowly opened her eyes. She looked at Angad who was crying.

"I told you I wouldn't leave you so easily!" They both smiled weakly.

Angad bent down and kissed her, "I love you Kripa."

"I love you too." Angad looked at her for a few seconds and then slowly laid down beside her and hugged her tightly crying.

His crying froze Kripa. She realized she hadn't seen her baby. She felt Angad's grip tighten as he cried in her arms. "Angad…" She said in a shaky voice. But, Anagd didn't reply. "Angad…" she said again.

"Angad, for gods sake talk to me." But she only felt him holding her tighter.

"Angad, where is my daughter??" All she heard was Angad crying.

Pyaar Ka Pal: Part 53

"Angad please tell me?" Kripa cried.

Angad finally sat up, "We have lost our baby." Pain and horror flashed Kripa's face.

"No Angad, no…"

"I'm sorry Kripa." Kripa shut her eyes tightly and allowed her tears to spread down her cheeks to her pillow.

She opened her eyes again and looked at Angad, "Was it a boy or a girl?"

"I don't know." He replied. Angad and Kripa wanted a girl, but at the same time they wanted it to be a surprise. "I'm sorry Kripa." Kripa hugged him tightly, and then door opened and walked in the doctor.

"Hello, Mrs. Khanna, Mr. Khanna. Hey what's this why are you guys crying you should be happy." Kripa and Angad looked at the doctor confused. The young doctor smiled and then spoke, "Mr. Khanna you are a proud father of two beautiful little girls." Angad and Kripa looked at each other.

"But doctor you said that you could only save one?"

"I know, but it was nothing more than a miracle. The baby's heart beat was sinking but suddenly it went back to normal. And we were shocked when we discovered that you had two daughter and both of them were perfectly normal, and healthy. I guess god had mercy on both of you. Because this is nothing more than a miracle. The nurses should be bringing both your daughters soon." He smiled at them and left.

Before Angad and Kripa could have time to even blink Anjali and Shahid walked in with their daughters. Anjali gave Kripa her first daughter, and Shahid walked to Angad. While Kripa was busy just looking at her daughter with joy Angad was scared to take the little child in his arms. She looked at Angad and smiled. Anjali took the little baby from Kripa and but him in a crib and Kripa took her second daughter in her arms. And, both Shahid and Anjali walked out.

"Angad?" He looked at Kripa from the little baby. "Wont you like to hold her?"

Angad nodded his head, "But I'm scared."

Kripa giggled now, she held her daughter and slowly placed her in Angad's arms. "Isn't she so adorable?"

"Very." Angad said smiling at her. Suddenly she started crying and Angad worried looked at Kripa. And then handed her over to Kripa who hushed her up and asked Anagd to put her in the crib beside their older daughter.

Angad put her down and then looked at both of them, "They don't look alike Kripa." Kripa simply smiled upon seeing the fascinated Angad. He looked at her smiling and sat down beside her and held her tightly, after kissing both her cheeks. "Thank you so much."

"For what?"

"Everything Kripa." Kripa smiled again and they both just sat holding each other for a long time.

Angad's fear was finally over. He hadn't lost Kripa, and he was a father of two beautiful little girls.

Kripa was discharged from the hospital within a few days, and the happy family went home. Angad, stayed home all day and helped Kripa take care of both her daughters. At night, every time their daughters would cry Angad would wake up and let Kripa sleep. He did everything to keep Kripa at rest after all that pain and tension she had went thought. Kripa was happy to have a husband like Angad who cared for her so much. In fact at times she would be amazed how Angad would become a little child himself with his two daughters. And some times he would be extremely disappointed when they would sleep for most of the day.

And like most days even tonight both of Angad's girls were awake playing with their Daddy while Kripa helped Dadi in the kitchen.

Anjali, Shahid, Josh and Aaliya had gone for their honeymoon, finally. Anjali had put her honeymoon hold until Kripa's delivery and Josh and Aaliya decided they would go together.

Angad was kind of worried when both Tanya and Anjali started crying. He didn't know who to hold, or who to get hushed up first. Worried he screamed, "Kripaaaa." Kripa came rushing in and saw a confused Angad sitting on the bed looking at Tanya to Anjali and then back to Tanya. Kripa smiled and picked up Anjali and asked Angad to pick up Tanya. Kripa made Anjali get quite quickly while Anagd was still crying but Tanya won't shut-up. Kripa put a sleeping Anjali down and looked at Anagd who was about to cry seeing his daughter cry so much. Suddenly Kripa felt mushy inside and just wanted to give Angad a kiss and a long tight hug. She took Tanya from him and got her quite. After she fell asleep as well Kripa sat beside Angad kissed both his cheeks and hugged him tightly just as she had planned.

"You're the best Angad." Angad was confused upon Kripa sudden behavior, but happily hugged her back.

Pyaar Ka Pal: Part 54- Epilogue

Four Years Later

It was Kripa and Angad's fourth anniversary today, and Dadi had kicked them out of the house the day before to go celebrate without anyone else. She had kept Tanya and Anjali with her.

The sun rose that morning like every morning with Kripa is Angad's arms. They had spent the entire night talking to each other. And, before sleeping Angad had tightly shut the curtains so the light couldn't travel in and disturbed the couple from their sleep. Nor Angad or Kripa had been able to sleep in each other arms for a long time due to Tanya and Anjali they both loved sleeping with their parents. So in the past years most morning Kripa and Angad would wake up embracing either Tanya or Anjali. But they were happy, they both loved their daughter dearly and their daughters at the age of four knew that their parents loved them a lot. But they loved each other more, so they didn't ask to come with them.

Shahid and Anjali transfer to another part of London when Shahid is transferred. They both are proud parents of a little boy. Josh and Aaliya are proud parents of a little girl, along with Neha and Prithvi, who are parents of two little boys.

Tanya was turning out to be very much like Angad. Her habits and looks were like Angad; she was quite tall, with beautiful long brown hair and eyes that looked silver at times.

Anjali on the other hand was something like Kripa, she was shorter and had darker hair with darker eyes. She resembled Kripa and had interests like her as well.

But, as awkward was it was, Anjali was always more involved with her father with Tanya was always with her mother. Sometimes Angad and Kripa were forced to believe that their other daughter didn't love them. But, then every night before bed both Anjali and Tanya would tell both Angad and Kripa how much they loved them, and neither Kripa nor Angad could question the love.

Anagd quit his job as a FBI agent as he wanted to give all his time to Kripa, and both her daughters. He had proved to be an excellent father. He gave Kripa just as much as time he gave both his daughter whom he loved dearly. He would take Tanya and Anjali out to dinner, sometimes alone so he could spend time with just one, and sometimes with both. And both Anjali and Tanya loved Anagd. Angad was known to spoil them while Kripa was known to keep them strict and tight at all times.

Kripa was still practicing medicine, which made her life much easier when Tanya, Anjali, or even Angad fell sick. Kripa, just like Angad, gave all three of them equal amount of time. But she had a harder job. At times she felt like she had three kids. Angad was known well to become a kid with Tanya and Anjali. And not only Kripa but even Dadi was tired of him.

Kripa was awake; watching Angad sleep. He had the cutest look on his face and she understood where both her daughters got the looks from. Kripa blew at the hair on his forehead and then smiled. Angad opened his eyes and looked at her naughty expression.

He pulled her closer and kissed her, "A very, very happy fourth wedding anniversary!" And he kissed her one more time.

"Same to you!"

"So Mrs. Khanna, what are we doing today?"

"Whatever you wish."

"Oh! I wish to just lay in bed all day and hold you close to me."

Kripa rested her head on his chest and hugged him, "Wish granted. But not all day. That's quite boring."

"Then?"

"How about we spend the day with Tanya and Anjali at the beach, then we can go for a movie, and then to dinner and…"

"Then we can drop them home and come back here!" He finished for her.

"Why?"

"Do we have to have a reason?"

"No."

"Then don't ask. Can't I spend my wedding anniversary with my wife."

"Aren't you doing just that?"

"Hmm… yes!" He quickly kissed her before she could talk again.

Kripa turned to her stomach and held him by the shirt, "You Angad Khanna, are one naught man!"

"Kripa, you haven't seen me get naught yet!"

"And I don't want to either." She left his shirt and started to get up when Angad pulled her back down, and rolled once.

"Now that you have brought it up, why don't I tell you how naught I am." He got closer to her but before he could kiss her Kripa put her hand on his mouth.

"Angad, you're a bad boy."

He kissed her hand, "I know I am. And, if you don't want to see the bad side of me give a kiss and then we can go get Tanya and Anjali."

"Smart! But you won't show me the bad side in you, you won't get a kiss, and we still will go get Tanya and Anjali!"

"Kripa please. Don't be so mean to the husband who loves you so much!" Kripa looked at him for a few seconds, "Ok, your defeated now give me my kiss."

Kripa puts her hand on his cheek and swings it to the other side, "No."

"Please!"

"No." Angad moves out of Kripa's way and lets her go. He sits up looking depressed as Kripa leaves. But before leaving she quickly kisses him in the lips and runs out the room.

Angad and Kripa spend the entire day with Tanya and Anjali and then come back home with them.

Tanya was sitting in Kripa's lap while Anjali was sitting in Angad lap. But they were talking to each other while Kripa and Angad sat against the back board of the bed looking at each other.

"Mama, Mama!!!" Kripa quickly looked at Tanya.

"Ji beta."

"Can we go to bed now?"

"Of course you can beta, go run to your room, Mama and I will be right there." Angad says taking Anjali off his lap.

"No Dad- can we sleep with here?" Anjali asks.

"Um.. No!" He replies.

"Why?" She asks.

"Three simple reasons, one you girls need to learn how to sleep without us, second I plan to spend some time with your mom, and third simply because I love your mom, and need to more spend more time with her!" He kissed both his daughter, "Now go!"

"So you don't love us?" Asked a disappointed Tanya.

"Of course I love you beta." Angad hugged Tanya, "But I just love you Mom a little more than I love you!" He smiled a puppy smile and Tanya kissed him.

"In that case Dad, I love Mama more than you!"

"Me too!" Anjali said hopping into Kripa's lap.

"Your Mom, my two lovely daughters, deserves to me loved!" Angad leans over and kissed Kripa on the cheek. Leaving both his daughters blushing. Then he picks both of them up in his arms and carries them to their room. As Angad leaves Kripa has a tear trickling from her eyes.

When Angad comes back he finds Kripa standing by the door. He closed the door behind him and walks to her.

"Kripa."

"Hmmm?"

"Thank you." Kripa looks at Angad confused.

"Ab maina kya kiya?"

Angad holds her hand and pulls her forward, "Thank you for falling in love with me. For making you marry me."

Kripa hugs Angad, "Angad your simply, silly!"

She looks up and him, and kissed him softly. "Come on, we have an early morning tomorrow. We need to go to bed."

"Early morning for what?" Angad asks.

"I knew it. You have a meeting for your next launch."

"Oh yes I do." He says hitting on hand on his head. Kripa smiles at him and makes him lay down in bed. But instead, he lays down in her lap still talking to her.

"Kripa…"

Kripa closes her book and looks down at him, "Anagd, you take my name at least a million times in one day."

"Oh! I didn't know you kept track." Kripa hits him and then lays down beside him.

"Go to sleep."

"I don't want to. I don't get too many night alone with you."

"Then what do you want to do."

"I want to love you!"

"Angad, please tum Kabhi maat sudarna."

"Nahie sudroga. Lakin I think it's high time when Tanya and Anjali get another sibling."

Kripa looks at him with an serious expression, "After what happened with Tanya and Anjali you still have hope?"

"Kripa that was just fait. It won't play that trick again."

Kripa kisses him and then hugs him, "That's what I love about you. You never give up hope."

"Jab tak tum mera saath ho I can never give up hope." Kripa looked at Angad with teary eyes. "Ab roona maat please." Kripa berried her head in Angad's chest and smiles and he hugs her tightly.

"And you know what Kripa I-"

"I love you too Angad."

"I love you too!"
