IN GUN'S ROOM:

Gun was trying to open the bag, but its chain was stucked.

'uffo! Yeh bag bhi na'

Sam gave his ever-so-charming smile and went towards her.

She was so much frustraited that she turn arround very fast and bump on Sam.

He hold her as she was about to fall and she hold him for support. He looked into her eyes and felt the same unusual waves in his heart.

And now it was Sam, who turned consious. He immedietly leave her and started looking here and there. Gun too stood a liltle away from Sam. He said in a very shaky tone,

'arey....chashmish...kitni der laga di?'

'dekho na Samrat yeh bag ki chain khul hi nahi rahi hai'

'ok, let me try'

Then Sam tried and on 3rd attempt it got open. Gun took a note pad and a pen. And they returned where all were sitting.

Nups: Gunjan itna waqt kyun laga diya?

Gun: wo di...

Mayu: Nupur wo sab rehne do, pehle hum sab ko yeh batao ke mele mein akhir kya kya hota hai?

Nups gets exited knowing the fact that she knows something that Mayu dnt knw. And it seems that Mayu had understood it from her expression coz hd further said that,

'aur haan Nupur jara brief mein batana. Woh kya hai na humare pass waqt thoda kum hai'

Nups was going to argue but she kept her cool.

'ok! Thank you Mayank jo mujhe yaad dilaya. To sabse pehle mele mein bohot saare games hote hai. Jaise banduk se gubbare...ballons', Nups
explained after seeing Benji's puzzled look.

'...aur ball se dibboka pyramid phodna vagera. To humein in sab stalls ki list banani hogi aur uske hisaabse sari cheeze laenge'

Dodo scratched his head and asked,

'Nupur, tum ne kaha tha ke khane ke stalls bhi honge'

Dia: oh shut up Dodo!

Nups: arey nahin Dia, Uday bhaiya ne thik kaha. Khane ke stalls to hone hi chahiye. Phir humein ek photo ka booth chahiye jahan pe hum bade bade film stars ke poster ke sath photo kheechenge'

Hearing that Mayu muttered ,' aa gayi na apni aukad pe'

And that lil muttering too Nups heard.

'kya? Kya kahan tumne?'

'maine? Maine kya kahan? Kab se tum hi to badbada rahi ho'

'Mayank tum...'

Sam: ok! Hold it guys! Nupur aage bolo.

Nups: phir humein kuch naachne gaane wale chahiye. Pura gaw ka mohol banane ke liye humein gujarati, rajsthani logonko bulana chahiye.

Sam: idea to acha hai par budget?

Gun: dekho, hum games ke lie khane ke liye to paise rakhenge hi aur agar hum dress code bhi indian rakhenge to sab logonke pass to indian cloths hoge nahin to hum unhe wo rent pe denge. To waha bhi paise milenge.

Dia: hmmm....the plan looks nice. But guys we need to work hard.

Gun: dnt worry Dia. Hum sab achhi tarah se kar lenge.

And the rest of afternoon went on discussing about the plan.

It was 6 p.m when Benji looked at his watch.

'oh god, guys look at time. Its 6 p.m!'

Sam: oh! Dhyan hi nahi gaya.

Dia: i think we should give it a break. Humne kafi kuch work out kar liya hai. And its our last night here. Kal subah to hum chale jaenge. Lets party guys.

Nups: ruko, pehle Mayank se pooch lo.

Mayu: its ok Nupur.

Chako: so its decided, we are gonna party tonight.

Sam: we got a pub next to our house, we can go there.

Gun: tum sab jao, main to nahi aa rahi.

Sam: come on Gunjan, ab aisa mat kaho.

Nupur: arey chal na Gunjan, by god kitna maza ayega!

After thinking for a min she said yes.

Nups looked at Mayu and ask "ab yeh mat kehna ke tum jao main nahi aunga"

Mayu: main aise kyun kahonga? Main to aane wala tha.

'achha?', Nups raised her eye brows as she well know that he wasnt going to come.

Mayu: chalo ab jaldi chalo, agar bato mein waqt zaya karenge to late ho jaega.

Mayu tried to avoid the topic.

They decided to meet at 7.30 and went to respective rooms.

At 7.30, Sammy, Benji and Mayu were 1st to reach at hall.

Mayu: ab tak koi nahi aayd? 7.30 to baj gaye na?

Sam gave him a very decent smile, 'arey Mayank, ladkiyonko tayar hone mein waqt lagata hai'

Mayu: aur uday and chako?

Sam: unko tayar hone mein ladkiyo se bhi jyada waqt lagata hai.

And they all laughed. Between next 10 min all were ready in hall.

Benji: lets go guys!

They started their car and reach the destination 'off beat' the pub.

It was so groovy inside, and as they just stepped inside Chako, Dodo and Benji immediatly ran towards the dance stage.

Remaining all sat on couch. Gun and Nups were sitting side by side as it was 1st time they have been to pub. Mayu wa

looking here and there as it was his 1st time too.

As the music got more groovy Dia asked Sam for dance.

'oh come on Sammy, chalo na dance karate hai! The music is so nice'

Sam just glaired at Gun for min and then said yes.

So Sam, Anny and Dia went to dance floor.

Now it was only Nups, Gun and Mayu left. Soon, a gal came by them and asked Mayu,

'hi, i m Rati! Would u like to dance with me?'

Nups mouth fell open.

Mayu: main? I mean....

'oh come on, puhledz dance'

After seeing that gal pleeding like this Mayu said yes and went with her giving Nups a helpless grin.

Nups mouth was still open when Benji came and asked her,

'arey Nupurjee aap yahan kya kar rahi hai? U should be on dance floor. Aur tum kitna acha dance karti hoo'

'wo...main...actually Gunjan hai nah...'

'di, aap meri fikr mat karo main thik hoo. Aap jau dance karane. Waise mere pass to hai sab kahan door hai'

'tu akeli kaise baithegi'

' main thik hoo di, aap jaiye'

'pakka?'

'haan paka'

So Nups too went to dance with Benji.

She was enjoying dancing there untill she saw Mayu.

'he is dancing so close to her', Nups thought. Though she can see perfectly clearly that it wasnt he who was coming closer, it was that gal who was coming near to him and on other hand he was trying to keep distance between them.

But as Nups is Nups, she was fuming with the fact that Mayu was having so much fun with another gal.

Benji: Nupur kya tumhe Mayank ke sath dance karana hai?

'huh!', Nupur suddenly came back from her thoughts. 'kya? Yeh tum kya keh rahe ho?'

'jab se tum dance floor par ayi ho tab se Mayank ko dekhe ja rahi ho. Tumhe agar uske sath dance karana ho to...'

'arey nahi nahi Benji uske sath ek baar Talent parade mein dance karake pachata rahi hoo, ab aur nahh'

'sahi hai'

Benji exclaimed and they continued dancing.

Suddenly Dj stopped the music.

'guys and beautiful gals, you all just rocked the dance floor but now there is a lil bit change. Lets now dedicate the songs to all love

birds. Now we will have soft tracks'

and he played the song "khabar nahi" from Dostana.

As Mayu heard this he was about to go when Rati hold him back,

'oh come on Mayank. Agar dance partner chuna hai o dance to pura karake jao'

'nahi main woh.....'

but before Mayu can say further Rati had already placed her both hands arround his neck. And Mayu had no option but to hold her waist and dance.

And when he turned his head he saw Nups looking at him, and a wave of guilt passed through his heart. And he break their eye contact.

Benji: so Nupur can i have the pleasure to have this last dance with u madam?

Nups gave him a faint smile and said 'yes' and started dancing with him.

Though both had partners with them but Mayu and Nups were looking at each other. They both were wishing if they got each other as partners but were suprised at their own thoughts. They both were remembering the Talent parade dance practise session and their dance with each other.

Dia was too dancing with Sam, but Sam was looking at her constantly. He dnt wanted to let his eyes off Gun, he wanted her in front of him every sec.

Gun was sitting there alone, looking at Sam after every 2 min and then lower her eyes in embarresment.

The song was going,

kis taraf hai asmaan kis taraf jameen khabar nahi,
jab se aaya hai sanam mujhko khudki hi khabar nahi,
hosh gul khaboke main bandhu pool,
aankh kab khuli khabar nahi.

Benjh was looking at both Sam and Gun and shaked head in disbeilieve and gestured Dodo to ask Gun for dance.

So Dodo went to Gun,

'Gunjan, chalo na dance karate hai'

'arey Uday bhaiya, main aur dance?'

'haan! Dekho aaj to last day hai Alibagh ka to plz'

'par main?'

'dekho, Gunjan apne Uday bhahya ke sath bhi dance nahi karoge? Such baat to hai ke koi ladki mere sath dance karna hi nahi chahati'

Laughing at Dodo's cuteness, Gun agreed to dance. Dodo gave a thumbs up to Benji.

Now all Sam-Nups-Gun-Mayu were on dance floor but with different partners.

Nups and Mayu were in front of each other. They were so keen to dance with each other, but have a main problem EGO! Their gaint size ego.

'main kyu uske sath dance karoo', both were thinking though they wanted to dance with each other.

"jane kab kahan kaise tere ho gaye aise,
hum to sochate hi reh gaye aur pyar ho gaya"

Sam accidently put his shoe on Dia's sandle.

'ouch! Sammy! Kya kar rahe ho? Dhyan kidhar hai?'

'oh! I m sorry Candy! So sorry'

'its ok Sammy'

But still Sam was looking at Gun. She wasnt scarring, she was enjoying with Uday. Sam knew it was Uday, her cousin, if dnt he must have killed him out of jaleousy.

Now every one on dance floor twirl their partner and light went off for few sec. Nobody knows with whom they are.

Gun was so scared that she wished,

'kash mere samne Samrat ho'

Suddenly light came, Gun looked in front, it was Sam, smilling as broad as he can, not playing to the pain he will get in cheek if he continued to smile like that. But as Gun was happy too he

never mind smiling all day for her.

He offer his hand to her, she delicatly gave her hand in his hand and placed other hand on his shoulder softly.

He placed his other hand on her waist rather carefully and he looked at her.

She was looking down, her eyelashes flapping in shyness and now Sam knew why he was having those feeling whenever Gun was there.

They both were silent, no word was spoken but lot was exchanged.

"mere khwab dil saase milke kho gaye kaise,
tumko dekhate hi aisa kai baar ho gaya"

Nups have shut her eyes very tight though light were on now and Mayu was in front of her smilling,

'by god Nupur! Tum andhere se itna darati ho ya phir tumhe dar tha kahi main partner na ban jau?'

After hearing Mayu's voice she opened her eyes quickly.

'lagata hai bhagwanjee ko mujhase kuch jyada hi lagaw hai ke wo tumhe mere samne har pal lake khade karate hai'

Mayu gave her another cute smile and asked,

'so shall we dance?'

Nups noded and they continued dancing.

"dil kahe yeh tera hi rahe,
aur kya kahu khabar nahi khabar nahi,
kis taraf hai aasman kis taraf jameen khabar nahi"

Now both Gun and Nups looked at Sam and Mayu respectively. There was so much love in Sam's eyes and for a split a sec Gun thought it was for her ( duffer,IT IS for u ) but as she knew Sam's flirtyness just smiled at her own sillyness.

As Nups looked in Mayu's eyes there was something, she try to search it in his eyes but as Mayu well know it delibaratly avoided looking at her.

"aayega woh is intejar main,
ud chala dil wahan sapane jahan main jaanu,
lagata hai wo mere kareeb hai,
aisa kyun hai magar dhunde nazar bekabu,
hosh gul sapanoke main bandhu pul,
aankh kab khuli khabar nahi"

The world was stopped for them. There were only four of them, lost in each other.

"kis taraf hai aasamaa kis taraf jameen khabar nahi,
jab se aaya hai sanam mujhko khudki bhi khabar nahi,
hosh gul sapanoke main bandhu pul,
aankh jab khuli khabar nahi khabar nahi....

Mere maula maula mere maula man matwala kyun hua....mere maula"

The song ended.

And as the song ended all the couple saparated, but it was hard for four of them. They wanted to be with each other, feel each other but they have to saparate.

Gun slowly removed her hand from his shoulder without looking at him though Sam was contineously stairing at Gun.

He wanted to catch that image of Gun for ever in his eyes, he dnt wanted to waist a single sec without looking at her. As he also took his hand back, their fingers brushed against each other.

He wanted to feel that feeling, as her fingers slide down from his he wanted to hold them back. But finaly they saparated physically, but mentaly they were still there, together, dancing and having most special moment of their life. Gun slowly looked at Sam and asked,

"chale?"

Sam just nodded in affirmation and they join their rest of gang.

The thing wasnt different for Mayu and Nups. The pain can be seen on both's faces clearly that they dnt want to leave each other.

For a min they keep on looking at each other, but finaly Chako called,

'arey tum dono wahan kya kar rahe ho? Idhar aao'

Both came back from their thoughts. Nups was embarresed while Mayu gave Chako killer looks,

'kyu Chako hamare bina dil nahi lagata tumhara?'

Nups gave Mayu what-r-u-saying kind of look, Mayu returned a Sorry-teacher look.

They all gather arround.

Sam: guys ab bohot ho gaya dance, now we shall return for dinner.

Benji: dinner kisine dinner kaha? Dinner matlab food, food matlab khana, khana matlab bhook! Samrat tu hi mera sacha dost hai, tujhpar main ek gana bhi likhunga 'tuhi to mera dost hai'

Mayu gave Sam a worried look, "kahan tha tumhe Benji ko Uday se door rakho. Dodoriya ke symptoms nazar aa rahe hai"

And both Sam and Mayu exchanged a silent smile. And all left the pub. While returning back Sam wanted Gun to sit by his side so Sam asked Benji to hold Dia back so that Gun can sit next to him. And as dear Sam ordered Benji did the same.

Benji: Dia tumhara face!

Dia: kya hua Benji?

Benji: i dnt believe it.

Dia was so scared that she searched for her mirror in purse which Benji "Accdently" push down.

And meanwhile all others reached jeep.

Sam: chashmish aao aage baitho, dekho aagese nazara kaisa dikhata hai.

Gun: magar Dia?

Sam: peeche baith jaegi. Nupur tumhe problem?

Nups: not at all!

Meanwhile:
Finaly Dia got her mirror and she checked n rechecked but her face was normal.

Dia: benji! Kya hua hai mere face ko?

Benji: kuch nahi, tumhara face itna sunder kaise? Aap kaunsa cream lagati hai?

Dia: oh shut up Benji!

And Dia left so as Benji. As she reach jeep she saw Gun sitting next to Sam.

Dia: Gun dear, thts my place.

Sam: its ok Candy! Thodi der ke liye peeche baith jao! We will be home in 5 min.

Mayu was sitting in middle row and Nups was about to sit when Dia stormed in and sat near to Mayu. Dead fish's face must be more cheerfull than Mayu's face whe he saw that Nups is not next to him but Dia is. Nups sat

next to Dia and Sam started the jeep.

Mayu thought "jab bhagwan akal baat raha tha tab shayad Dia usko looser bolke chali gayi hogi, tabhi to us department mein andhera hai"

Dia turned towards Mayu and asked,

"kya tumne kuch kaha?"

Mayu: mere sath tum aur Nupur baithe ho, aur tum donoke rehte main kuch bolu yeh meri himmat?"

"oh whatever!"

and Dia continued to be in foul mood.

And Sam continued to stair at Gun every possible way.

He thought

" aaj tak jo kuch maine chaha hai wo mujhe mila wo meri jeed thi.
Magar kabhi bhi sukun nahi mila ke, bas yeh mil jae phir jindagi se kuch nahi chahiye.
Par jab Gunjan ko dekhata hoo to aisa lagata hai ke mujhe bas usika sath chahiye.
Bas wahi mere pas ho agar koi nahi to bhi chalega. Gunjan ke sath ho kar jo sukun mujhe milta hai woh basket ball match jeetkar bhi nahi milta,
yeh sirf dosti nahi ho sakati, to phir yeh kya hai?" he looked at Gun again n take a deep breath and thought

" kahin yeh pyaar to nahin?"
.......................................
"yeh nahi ho sakata",

Mayu thought after stairing at Nups for atleast 300 times in last 3 min " koi to aise baat hogi jise sochate hi main Nupur ke barein mein nahi sochata.

Par sach baat to yeh hai ke na koi aisi baat hai na lamha na minute na second ke main Nupur ke baarein mein nahi sochata. Kyu main har pal uske sath rehna chahata hoo? Kyun uski fizul ki baatein sunana chahata hoo? Kyun chahata hoo ke kisi baat par main use chidhau ke phir wo gusse se mera naan le? Kyun Nupur meri zindagi mein itni important ban gaye hai....ya phir wo meri zindagi hi ban gaye hai"

Both Sam and Mayu now knew what was wrong with them, they have realised what they should have known much early, but can Gun and Nups also realised it? Could they feel what emotions Sam and Mayu are having for them?

Awesome update Anwaya! 🤗Loved the way you showed Mayank and Samrat's thoughts simultaneously....everything was just so clearly and beautifully expressed☺️ and the dance was just toooo good...could imagine the whole thing 😍

Cant wait to read Mayank and Samrat confessing to themselves!

I hope Gunjan and Nupur realise their feelings soon as well....
