Lol ok I'll be updating tonight forsure!

For the next week Kanya was very excited and happy. She would talk about Goa all day a work with Heer and then come home and go shopping with Pooja and Pammi. She had totally forgotten about Ranbir. Sometimes when she was alone she would remember him and instead of crying she would smile and think:

K: He was never written in my taqdeer so theres no point in crying over him. Always look towards the future and never back in the past. Rab has made someone for everyone so He will come one day for me.

The day had finally come that Kanya was going to Goa. This was the first time she was going on vacation without her family. She was a bit sad to leave them but excited to go to Goa!

They were taking a bus there. Kanya sat in the window and Heer sat next to her.

H: what are you thinking?

K: I'm just saying Bye to my old life. Or the life I have been living for the past few weeks.

They both laughed.

H: Kanya I'm glad you've learned to move on to the future.

K: yeah me too.

H: You never know, you might find your prince charming here.

Kanya smiled: I'm in no hurry to find him.

H: Yeah I know your not. But still…

The rest of the bus ride passed like that. They all talked, laughed, played games, and sang. There were a few newly married couples on the bus, as well as some families. Kanya was with a group of her friends. All girls and they were mainly celebrating because one of her friends was getting married soon. She had met the guy her friend Sadhna was marrying and he seemed really nice. He fell in love with Sadhna during college and then proposed to her. But he told her that they could not officially be together until her family accepted him. Kanya thought that was really sweet and they were truly made for each other. She was happy for Sadhna and glad that she found her soul mate.

It was soon dark outside and they were an hour away from there resort. The bus driver made one last stop at a small gas station so people could use the washroom and he could fill up on gas. The place was a really cute little town and there was a Punjabi style dhaba there.

Heer: Come on girls lets go there and grab something to eat.

Sadhna: No Heer lets just leave it and stay here. There are a lot of guys sitting there. It wouldn't be safe for us to go over right now. If you want something to eat just wait till we get to the resort or grab something from the coffee shop here.

Heer: Oh don't worry nothing will happen. I'm with you!

Kanya laughed: and heer you will protect us if those guys say anything?

Heer: yes I will

Sadhna: Lets just go back to the bus. The others are done using the washroom and waiting for us by the bus.

Kanya: Yeah lets just go back

Heer: Okay fine

Before leaving Heer turned around and looked at the group of guys

Heer: hey those guys look pretty cute. Should we go so hi.

Sadhna: Heer!

H: I was just joking. I mean they look like educated, respectable, and attractive men

Kanya: Heer don't you ever stop looking at guys?

Heer: I will once I find my prince.

They all laughed and headed back to the bus. They were all excited now and beginning to pack up their stuff. The resort was only an hour away and the time flew by really fast.

Soon the bus came to a stop and they all looked through the window outside. The view made everyone's eyes sparkle and hearts jump with excitement. It was like a dream castle but still very western looking. Goa was absolutely beautiful. Kanya looked at it and knew right away that this was going to be one fabulous vacation.

Bus Driver: Attention everyone! We have arrived to the resort now. All of your luggage is being unloaded and will be delivered to your rooms. Once you are off the bus, report to the main desk and sign in to get your room keys.

They all jumped off the bus. They could see the ocean from there with the moon and stars shining. It looked just like a painting.

K: It's so beautiful. Imagine how it looks like during the daytime.

Sadhna: I can't wait to go in the water. I have so much planned out for us to do.

Heer: I know we're gonna have so much fun

K: We will. Now lets go and get our room keys. The bus ride actually made me really tired.

Sadhna: same here. I think us three have one room and the other three have another room.

(*Note: there are a total of 6/7 friends. They may be introduced later on.*)

Heer: You guys go check in and I'll meet you there. I forgot my jacket on the bus so I'll go get it.

Kanya: okay hurry up and don't get lost or distracted

Kanya and Sadhna burst out laughing.

Heer: you guys! Ahh I'll get you once I'm back

She soon left back towards the bus, while Kanya and Sadhna went to get the room keys. Once they were checked in they waited for Heer. She soon came back, with a big smile on her face.

Heer: Come lets go to our room

Kanya: Heer why are you smiling so much?

Sadhna: yeah watsup?

Heer: I'll tell you guys once we get there

There room was on the fifth floor of the hotel. Even the inside of the hotel was gorgeous. It was huge with high ceilings and ancient art all around. There room was just the right size for them and they dumped all there bags in the closet and ran back to sit on the bed and hear Heer's story.

Heer: so remember those guys that we saw at the dhaba?

Kanya: yeah

Heer: well there here!

Kanya: what?

Sadhna: so?

Heer: soo…I mean we'll have fun. You know become friends with them

Sadhna: umm I don't think my fianc will like that. I mean…you know what I mean

Heer: come on you won't have to do anything with them. We'll all still be together.

Kanya laughed at how confident Heer was: but how do you know that they'll want to be friends with us?

Heer: oh come on kanya they will. I mean it will be fun to be in a big group and go places together. Like the did in DDLJ

Kanya: oh God. Stop being so obsessed with that movie. I know its good but still…

Heer: you never know kanya…one of them may be your "Raj"

Kanya: Raj?

Heer: I mean prince, soul mate, lover…

They all laughed at Heer's crazy ideas and soon drifted off to sleep. Kanya thought about what Heer just said and then what her mom said to her a few weeks ago. May be one of those guys is meant for her. But this time she will not fall in love so easily. She will become good friends with the guy. No matter where she meets him. Even if its here in Goa, or back at home in Mumbai.
