"Huh??" I looked at him bewildered. I heard Armaan give out an exasperated sigh.
"Riddhima'." Ankit started gently.
"You really are serious about this?" Armaan interrupted sitting up from and putting aside the cushion he had been hugging.
"Let me explain Armaan, you have done this before, its nothing new for you, let me explain Riddhima'"
Oh yess you did hear right riddhima babes. You and Armaan are going to act like a couple...or just act a little to comfy with each other to the point where media starts having doubts and spreading rumors and asking questions like "Armaan Mallik and Riddhima Gupta the new HOT couple?" or "Riddhima Gupta..Armaan Mallik's new arm candy? "

I don't blame Riddhima for not wanting to do it. Rumors like "oh she only got the role because she is Armaans new girl" well they are bound ot be spread. It's human nature to think things like that..and well if we dont media will definitely write about and make people have the same doubts. Yes Ankit may have explained the concept wrong to her....but those same thoughts will run through people's mind.
But then comes in our hero. Who so smoothly convinces Riddhima that nothing like that will happen. At first I have to say I was a little happy that he was trying to comfort her and calm her down about the whole issue of them acting like a couple. Until I read the end...oh boy I don't know what I can say about that now.
. I stared into those eyes, which held seemed to be assuring me it would be fine. I felt him tighten the grip on my hand as though reassuring me again.
He stopped his hand still resting on my cheek. I gave a sideways glance to the fingers gently caressing my skin on my face. He sheepishly grinned and dropped his hand.
And then of course...he takes advantage of that fact that she is totally captured under his charm...and gently touches her like that. Haii I can't blame her...he could probably convince any girl like that....he sounds so sincere...and then his touch...well I know this sounds a little weird..but in a way its re assuring. lol.
I nodded suppressing a smile. As if I knew anyone here that I would have an option of leaving him. And did I want to even leave his side??
Hmmm this definitely changes a few things..the fact that she's by his side all night. Definitely shed some light for her...on a few things...hmm definitely not what Armaan wanted, but well it was much needed lol.
Armaan fastened his seat belt and started the engine. It as about a fifteen minute drive to Riddhima's house he thought. He had decided to drive instead of the driver today. Perhaps Riddhima would feel more intimidated with a driver around, and he had to calm her down before they hit the party. As he steered the car on to the main road he couldn't help but smile. It was funny how that girl, he barely knew made him think more about herself then any other woman ever had.
He didn't exactly understand what had happened in the afternoon when he gone to her, squeezed her hand and assured her. True he knew how to charm women, say the right thing at the right time but with Riddhima he felt as if he had slightly overdone it. What had compelled him to touch her??? Armaan shook his head gripping the steering heel tightly.
See reading things like this makes me not hate Armaan....I mean he goes out of his way to make Riddhima feel comfortable for reasons unknown to him. he is genuinly attracted to him....and to the point where his actions even astonish him at times. And even though he finds it "disgusting" he can't change the fact that he is attracted to her....and with time it's just going to grow.
Oo soo he just liked the fact that she wasn't too clingy the first time they met lol. And he doesn't know why he decided to recognize her at the mall..well I'm glad he did. Aww Armaan really has been through a lot to achieve the success he did today...my poor baby. This maybe one of hte reasons he's taking advantage of Riddhima's naivity..he doesn't want anything to come in the way of the position he is at today. A little too career orientated but then again..circumstances made him like that. Can't completely blame him.
Armaan's lips twitched. It was a real ego booster to know how much she adored him.
Ahaha for some reason that line just cracked me up. Boyy she's not the only one who adores him soo much lol. There are plenty of girls who adore him a lot. But then again Riddhima Gupta is a different to him...and well....probably why its even more flattering to him just how much she adores him.
He would make sure nobody messed with her
So he's willing to make sure nobody messes with her as long as she doesn't come in his way? But does he realize how much he's messing with her..and when she finds out how hurt she's going to be? The star that she practically idolized is paying attention to her..and in her mind is just as great a human being as she thought him to be..well I mean you can only imagine how hurt she'll be when she finds out that she's just being used....to boost his reputation...for his success....and yes he may be a good human being..but right now he's far from showing it.
Aww loved the cute conversation between Riddhima and Muskaan. I loved the bond they share yaar, its soo sweet. a total best friend type relationship...and hehe Muskaan is ridz fairy godmother...well in a way she is.....if she would have never dragged ridz out to the sets armaan would have never noticed her..and she would have never been playing the lead role of a serial..and yeah right now things may be a little bad since Armaan is just using her..but in the end it'll all work out to a happily ever after types ending lol. Soo really Muskaan is an important character :)

"Forget it, I am not here to boost your ego." I declared surprising my ownself. From when did I possess the courage to talk to him so openly. It pleased me beyond doubt that I could counter his advances without being overwhelmed by his presence.
"Oh ego? He cocked his brow.
"Which implies you do enjoy my flirting" he added with a smug look on his face.
Riddhima honey you unknowingly are all ready boosting his male ego. Lol. And Armaan, always has a smart reply back to her things. I like this guy....:) well...a little dissappointed in him but still.
"You look beautiful Riddhima, just amazing. " he started speaking removing his finger from my lips. I could feel him trace down his finger gently against my bare arm. I looked at him mortified as felt goosebumps creep up on my skin. He wasn't even looking at me. His hand slid down and squeezed my hand, his fingers intertwining with mine. I stole a glance at him, his eyes were still focused on the road.
Ahhh I just got goosebumps reading that...can ony imagine the effects it left on ridz lol
My cheeks ached after smiling and posing for what seemed like an hour or more .The moment we had stepped into the venue'.the flashes and flashes had nearly blinded me. questions were hurtled at us and Armaan had firmly guided me inside ignoring all the media glare. I never had realized till now that the program we were starring in had generated so much interested. Ofcourse it had to I now understood. Because of the star present in it. Armaan Mallik

"Yes, I convinced Riddhima to play and behave as if we were a couple." I heard Armaan answer.
"She agreed??"
"I got Ankit tell her that it was for the show. She doesn't need to know that it was my idea or that this is for me. To control and protect my reputation from being damaged'.she doesn't need to know the truth." Armaan answered. i felt my heart stop beating.......as i stared at them..
Oh boy. So finally Riddhima is let in on some of the truth. Poor girl, I wonder how she will react to this. Will she act like she never heard anything...and just distant herself from him..? which will unknowingly hurt armaan..or will she confront him about it? Hmm though how was his reputation going to be damaged? There are still some unanswered questions left for both the readers and Riddhima..and only the upcoming parts will answer them lol.
Seriously can't wait for the next part...you left it at another one of your cliff hanger endings...and this one is surely a killer. Ehh 31st of march isn't thatt farr away...will try and wait patiently for your next part lol. :)
