Heyy guys! Well I just randomly decided to start a FF... anyways have nothing much to say just hope you like it =D !

Character Sketeches:

These are just some of the character sketeches the rest will be explained in the story.

Shashank - A very rich businessman who is at the top right now. Very loving, nice and kindhearted person. He gives importance to two things in his life: business & family.

Padma - She is Shashank's wife. She comes from a rich family and loves her husband and daughter very much. She loves cooking and loves feeding people as well. Padma is very bubbly, contented and cheerful person.

Riddhima Gupta was the youngest daughter of Shashank and Padma Gupta, her parents. She had an elder sister Anjali who was 3 years older than her and the very fashionable, trendy types. Anjali was the apple of the eye of her parents. Since they didn't have a son they had many expectations from Anjali, who lived upto them. Shashank was very proud of her as she was the first person in their family who was becoming a doctor. Now back to Riddhima. The truth was she wasn't Shashank and Padma's daughter nor was she Anjali's sister, more like her step-sister. Riddhima was actually Shashank and Damini's daughter. Shashank had an extra marital affair and the result of that relationship was Riddhima. <O:P></O:P>

It was 22 years back when Padma had found out that Shashank had an affair going on with his personal secretary which lasted for about 2 weeks but in the process she also found out that Damini was 9 months pregnant with. The day she found out the truth Riddhima was born. After the delivery Padma had gone to the hospital to question Damini of all her doings. Sure, Padma was really upset that the person who she loved and trusted the most stabbed a knife in her face but she didn't have the heart to leave Shashank nor the strength. Instead she just blamed Damini for everything but in truth Shashank was half to blame. Even though Damini knew that Shashank was married and even had one child she went on with this relationship. Padma made Damini realize what she had done and what the consequences would be when everyone would find out. Damini realized she had no importance in Shashank's life and was just a simple toy for him. She cried a lot and was just worried about one thing, Riddhima. That night, she went to the Gupta Residence and dropped Riddhima who was in a basket with a letter at the doorstep. <O:P></O:P>

Thanks for everything you have given me but today I realized that I was nothing but a toy for you. It's better for you and your family to start a new life. Just forget about me and forget that I ever came into your life. But I would like you to do just one favor for me, take care of my, our daughter. I know you won't be able to give her love but please..just take care of her. Goodbye Shashank!!<O:P></O:P>

When Shashank had found out about Riddhima he was utterly shocked. He knew nothing about this and never expected that Damini would become..pregnant! But he knew that he could never love Riddhima the way he loved Anjali. After all this, Padma had forgiven Shashank but on certain conditions. And from that day Riddhima became the daughter of Shashank and Padma but this was only for the world to know. In truth she was hated by all the Gupta's and infact nobody liked her because everyone thought she had problems. They would just give her money and tell her to get whatever she wants. At a young age she was taken care by a nanny although most of the time she looked after herself. Eventually she got used to to it. Around the age of 10 she was sent to boarding school and then <?: prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><ST1:COUNTRY-REGIon><ST1:PLACE>Canada</ST1:PLACE></ST1:COUNTRY-REGIon> for further studies. She tried her level best to impress her family especially Padma who hated her the most but it never seemed to work. They would just taunt her and remind her of who she is.

If there would be any functions, get-togethers or parties of the sort she just be sitting in the corner like a loaner and after it she would cry her heart out in her room. Riddhima was fair, had greenish-gray eyes, she had a medium height, slim figure, had black straight silky hair which came up to her waist and pinky rosy lips. She was probably the prettiest person but no one really realized this because she was so simple and normally wore salwar kameez. She would just probably outline her eyes with kaajal and apply a bit of lip gloss. She was a person who dreamed a lot but had no expectations because she knew what life probably had in store for her...

That was the first part..I felt it was a bit sloppy. I know it was short but i'll make sure the other parts a long ones. By the way, Damini had comitted suicide. That's all for now! Please do comment!

the introductory part was indeed great and touching, poor ridhimma is hated by all without being at fault!

and Shashank is such an a*s...dont really blame padma and anjali as much as shashank...he is the root of ridzys problem...hate him already!
