Angad pulled Kripa by circling his hand over her shoulders, "kyon, tumhey koyi objection hai?"

Kripa pouted and tried to remove his hand, "mujhey kya objection hoga? I was surprised you were not angry for papa's thoughts." He warned her from removing his hands, "Rehney do na! Tumhey Bahut miss kar raa hoon. Subah se ankhon se ishara ke siva kuch bhi nahin mila abh nazdeek aane ka mauka mila hai, tum wo bhi cheen-na chahti ho." Kripa smiled and rested her head on his shoulder as clasped his fingers over her shoulders. "Mama yahin neechey porch mein hai. Kabhi bhi uper asakti hai."

Angad mischievously smiled, "wo nahin aayengi". She is busy with your neighbour in praising her would be son-in-law. Aur maami ki samaj tumse jyada tez chalti hai. Usse pata hai ki main tumsey kitna pyar karta hoon. Wo bhi yehi chahti hai ki hum jaldi se ek hojaye. Kyon nahin! Mujh jaisa handsome, rich, aur intelligent groom apne khandan mein milna mamooli baat nahin hai." Kripa blushed and moved her mouth sideway at his pride.

"Naina aunty kya tumhari 'ghar jamai' ke faisle ko maanengi?" Kripa again raised her fears. Angad sighed as he took the snack from the plate, "Kyon nahin maanengi? Ghar jamai Banu ya damaad banu ,mujhey hi tumhari puri property ko aagey sambhalna hai ? To phir kya farak padta hai agar yahan rahoon ya Mumbai mein?" He winked at her as kissed her cheeks.

Kripa pinched his shoulder for his playful talks. He screamed softly with a big smile on face and bent to kiss on her lips, "aisi khubsoorat baavi se kaun bhala door honey ho sakta hai

Kripa pouted as wiped her lips, "mazak chodo, bava! Main yahan darr se marr rahi hoon aur tum toh tum aise mazaak uda rahey ho. Angad hit his forehead with hers, "darr kiss baat ki, baavi? Maama ka soch jaayiz hai. Aur mujhey koyi aitraz nahin unke wishes pura karne mein. Main bus yahin chahta hoon ki tum humesha mere bahoan mein aise hi reh jaao." Kripa blushed and lowered her eyes. He adorably stared at her pink face and slowly kissed her lips.

He took her hands in his and cuddled her. She inhaled his body fragrance and closed her eyes as hid her face in his neck curve. Both soothed their hearts in close embrace for a while. Kripa moved away from him when he was crossing his limits as carried away by her soft touches. He smiled as understood her fears. Both fed the snacks to each other lately and talked about many topics that were in common.

Kripa moved away from him when she heard the sound of scooter hauled in front of porch. "Papa agagye hain. Chalo neechey chaltey hain." Kripa dragged him down though Angad wanted to stay cozy for some more time.

"Yeh gaya nahin? Kab tak rahega? Lagta hai aaj se hi 'ghar jamai' bangaya hai." Surya cynically asked Gayatri, while he tied towel around his waist to freshen. Gayatri warned him with a groan, "aap bhi na kuch bhi keh deta hai. Wo bechara kya karega agar aap ghar jamai ka hukum diye toh."

Surya smiled as turned the tap, "lagta hai tum uss se bahut impress hogayi hai."

Gayatri smiled proudly, "kissi na kissi ko impress karna hi padega na apni beti ka haat thamaane ke liye?" Surya shook his head, "dekhta hoon kab tak yeh hosh rahega. Poochlo kab tak yahan rahega. Kal ek baar humare gaon lekey jaoonga. Tab samjhega ki Brahman ka jeevan kaisa hota hai." She sighed, "aap yeh zidd chodengey nahin? " She walked out to arrange for dinner.

"Arman! Tum ek baar yahan aajao. Papa phir se hospital mein admit huein hain. I'm very scared now. Yahan aakar mera hosla badao. Please." Ridhima requested Arman over phone with sorrowful tone. Arman felt bad for Ridhima's concern. He was still suspecting Dr.Gupta's situation. He consoled Ridhima about his recovery. Ridhima tried to convince him to start for Mumbai. "Ridhima! Main Rahul se time to time information le raha hoon. He will be alright soon. Tum kamahkha pareshan horahi ho. Agar situation itna bura hai toh Papa stroke se recover honey mein aur kuch time lete tha. Magar wo ek hi din mein recover hogayein hain aur ghar bhi agaye. Anyway main tumse behas nahin karna chahta hoon. Agar tumhare papa ka status such much kharab hogaya toh main jaroor aoonga."

Ridhima angrily shouted at him, "papa ke situation per shak kar rahe ho? Tum kabhi sudroge nahin. Anjali theeki kehti hai ki tujhe mein aur jiju mein bahut farak hai."

Arman laughed aloud for her complaint, "Anjali aur kya keh rahi thi mere barein mein?" Ridhima didn't recognize his cynical enquiry and replied him innocently. "Aur yeh bhi kehti hai ki papa issiliye tumhey pasand nahin karta. Unlogon ko tum pur zara bhi soft corner nahin hai. Issiliye papa tumhare kilaaf meri shadi aur jagah karna chahta tha."

Arman became serious after heard the last sentence, "kya aaj bhi wo tumhara shadi kissi aur se karna chahte hain?"

Ridhima aggressively responded, "haan, chahte hain. Aaj bhi kehrahe hain ki kissi aur se meri shadi karney ko taiyyar hain par tumse nahi. Issiliye mujhse waade ka umeed kar rahein hain ki unki baat maanloon. Main hi ek deewani hogayi hoon tumhare peechey."

Arman groaned seriously, "tum deewani nahin bholi bhali hai. Ridhima! tumhare papa ki baton se ye saaf hai ki mein unka pasand nahin hoon. Phir bhi wahin rukna chahti ho? Come back Ridhima! Wo log tumhey emotionally blackmail karke mujhse door karna chatay hai. Open your eyes. Come back soon before it becomes late."

Ridhima ignored his warnings. "Arman! Agar tum yahan agaye toh mujhko aur confidence milega. Hum donon milkar papa ko samjha saktey hain."

Arman's male ego warned him. "Ridhima! I expected your father brings the proposal to me. It didn't happen so far. You came to me on your own. I accepted you ignoring my ego. Now you want me to bend in front of your egoistic father? Never! Kabhi yeh umeed mujhse mut rakhna. I wish you come back to me soon.. Anjali and Atul can take good care of your father. Tum jitna/jitne din wahan rukogi utna hi uska umeed badhta rahega/unki umeed utni hi badthi rahegi. And you know I will never allow you to do that. Hope to see you soon. Bye." He hung up the phone over Ridhima's face without giving any more chance to her.

Ridhima anguishly sniffed, "tum aise waqt mein bhi papa ko dosh de rahe ho. Main nahin aa sakti. Papa ko normal dekh kar hi wapas aoongi. Tum nahin aana chahte hai toh mut aao." She mumbled in her and hung up the phone.

"Angad! Yeh hai iss gaon ke mukhya pujari hain, Humari shadi aur Kripa ki naamkaran bhi inhi ki hatoan se hua tha. Aur yeh hai iss gaon ke Panchayat Board President. Yeh hain matlab ki humare Sarpanch'.." Surya introduced all important persons in his village. Surya took Angad to his village as per his previous night plans. Angad was inquisitive to visit birth place of Devyani and Kripa. He immediately accompanied Surya. Kripa was astonished at his curiosity. Gayatri gave some advices about how to mingle with villagers. Angad reassured her to take care of himself. He enjoyed the whole travel so far.

"Sastriji! Aap ke haaton se hi mere bhaanje ka Upanayan karvana hai. Maagh maas mein acha tareek nikaal dijiye. Main bua se baat karke Angad ka kundali bhijwadoonga." Surya intrusively ordered the pundit of the village. Angad was surprised for the quick unilateral decisions of Surya. "Yeh maama mera Upanayan karvana chahta hai? Would mom and dad agree for this? How would Dadi react for this? Yeh maama bhi jaldbhaji mein khud hi decisions le raha hai." He was surprised in his mind at Surya's proceedings.

"Tum humara ghar jamai banne ke liye ek Brahman hona jaroori hai. Main khud tumhara 'Gayatri Upadesh"(Gayatri Devi ka Upaasan at the time of Upanayan/thread ceremony) karva doonga." Surya explained as if read Angad's mind. Angad smiled as approval. He suddenly grew an urge to call Devyani. He all of sudden felt that he was cheating his parents on their back, after hearing about Surya's decision on his behalf.

Angad used the opportunity when Surya was deeply in discussion with one of the lead agriculturists in the village. He walked to a corner and called Devyani to share his concerns. "Dadi! Aap kaise hai?" He was confused how to start the conversation.

Devyani frowned at other end, "main toh theek hoon tum kaise hai? Na ata pata? Theek toh hai na? Tumhara awaz mein kuch tension hai!" She correctly guessed her grandson.

Angad smiled, "Dadi! Main maama ke saat hoon. Apke gaon mein."

Devyani sighed, "Kuch azeebsi bat toh hai hi nahin. We all expected you meet them. Magar gaon mein kya kar rahey hai?"

Naina paid attention when Devyani asked aloud on purpose. "Dadi! Maama mujhey ghar jamai banana chahte hain. Aur uske pehla mera Upanayan karvana chahta hai. Yeh Upanayan kya hai?" Angad innocently conveyed the message.

Devyani was stunned at the proposal of 'ghar jamai'. She sighed aloud, "yeh achanak kaisa irada banaliya? Surya aisa kyun kar raha hai? Abb yeh Upanayan ki baat kyun uthi? Tum Ghar jamai banoge kya?"

Naina fumed instantly and ran to Devyani to take the phone in her hands. Devyani noticed and warned her with her eyes. "Angad! yeh achey din nahin hai Upanayan ke liye. Tum fikar mut karo. Wapas ajao aur hum Surya se baat karengey."

Angad was relieved after shifting his burden on Devyani's shoulders. "Thanks Dadi! Main kal Hyderabad jaoonga aur sham tak Mumbai ke liye nikloonga."

"Ridz! Papa ko hosh agaya hai. He is missing you. Tumhara naam hi le rahein hain. Tum jaldi yahan ajao." Atul called Ridhima in the evening.

Ridhima immediately headed towards hospital along with Naani.
