Dude For your Info Sameer had judjed earlier in SRGMP during its normal course... currently the judjes for their Challenge 2005 series are the likes of Pt Shivkumar Sharma, Pt Hariprasad Chaurasia..

about the knowledge of music for lyricist, i dont deny that, and nor did i advocate having likes of faraha khan in the jury.. my point is simply because they are from music industry they do not qualify as best judges... where are the legendary music directors, am sure they would have done lot better job..

1) This week, they didn't announced any top student. as on mon Faculty n princi were busy fighting with each other on arijit n qazi issue. And on tues, topic was mostly on rex, arpita n arijit.

2) Regading the top 4 students, we still have to wait till thurs results.

3) tit- bit info---- hmmmm... as for now nope... ya t'day in ranbhoomi round all three danger zone contestants will b performing in ahemdabad in front of public n mona singh (Jassi) & (Karan Oberoi) Raghav will also b there.

About karan Oberoi- he is d pasrt of band of boyz.

one more thing i came to knw....

the video shoot of the voted out contstnt... they speak to the counselor; Anjali Chabaria at tht time.
we all were wondering to whom shamit was speaking abt arijit and arijit too was speaking to her after he was voted out.

FYI, yesterday, here in the usa, they showed Sameer as the judge in Srgmp challenge 2005 along with Suresh Wadkar.

I don't really have a problem with Shankar Madhavan, JAved Akthar and KK being judges. I think they have done a fair job in their judgement of the singers and also with their tips for improvement. Saregamapa is geared towards a playback singer where are FG is more towards a Pop Star, with lot of emphasis on stage presence and performance. So the judges needn't be Pandits and Ustads, as long as they have some sound knowledge/experience in music. Just my take on this, that's all 😊

I just have a comment to make .. I am not sure we should be reacting the way we are taking the voted out students' comments ...

Coz for one i was thinking that we don't know how the questions are phrased to them that they respond in such a manner .. keeping in mind that it is quite an upsetting issue ...

And if we see that the SET channel shows us only the excerpts when the students are talking bad about each other ...
like they showed Arijit laughing after Shamit one day .. and captioned it "Arijit does not feel gulity" ...
Oh come on now ! just by laughing once doesn't make him happy that he voted out Shamit ...

And also how Ruprekha felt that Arpita was jealous of her .. And while showing that they also showed other clippings which contradicted what she was saying ...

They are not only creating a difference of opinion in our minds .. but also to the students ...
I am pretty sure they are not bad as they are being showed ...

this is just a personal opinion ! 😊

Come on some one please tell me if it has started and what songs have they sung and who has performed individually and what was the judges reaction. I am sure if it started 20 mins ago there would have been a break!!
