I would only like to add that Shamit these are just part and parcel of life. Do not even think of Gurukul or that such a thing existed that is the way you have to think and move ahead in life. One door closes another opens. SO PL PL DO NOT STOP SINGING . FORGET ALL THESE AND FOCUS AND IMPROVE ON YOUR SINGING NOT TO WIN ANY COMPETITION BUT FOR YOUR OWN PURE HAPPINESS . WITH THIS ATTITUDE IF YOU SING YOU WILL SURELY SUCCEED IN SINGING. BESIDES CARRY ON WITH YOUR BPO JOB AND SPARE TIME ENJOY YOUR SINGING. <FONT face=Arial size=2>It is obvious you would be trying to come out of the memories of FG and start or return back to your normal life, but as this and hundreds of other mails would drag you back to FG.I have seen Indian Idol and was an ardent fan of Rahul Saxena, I strongly believed he was the best singer of the final 11, he had won the Global Zee Golden Talent hunt contest earlier, he was voted out much earlier than an untrained besura singer like ravindra ravi. No comparison but I was heart broken, I felt it was not fair and never bothered to watch Indian Idol again. Even the Indian Idol always fell short when I compared to Rahul. I have a point please read on.I have seen that the top six contestants always stood in all the promos and as they didnot allow rahul to be in topsix, i feard the worst when i heard new contestants were beingcalled in to make the number 8, i feared u mightbe sent home before reaching hte top 6, and my worst fear came true...

<FONT face=Arial size=2>When Fame Gurukul started, I read it was a gap filler from Indian Idol-2 and didn't want to believe it, I thought it would bring forward better singers and it did. I have been following since the audition round and you were my favorite. You are my favorite not because i had to choose one from you but because i really appreciated and liked what you sing. I have loved every song you sung, understood and made sense of every word u said, every logic you tried to put, respect every emotion you displayedi was happy when you were in runbhumi coz we got to hear you more, always with the strong belief that you would be returning.I wont beat around the busy and tell u again why I liked you the most and not others but I think u should know

<FONT face=Arial size=2>I think you have the versatility to carry any good song and a good and sound knowledge of music, sur, tal and voice control.
<FONT face=Arial size=2>I think you can perform which you have learnt over a period and are involved with the song more than anyone else.

<FONT face=Arial size=2>But unfortunately lot of factors have worked against you.

<FONT face=Arial size=2>As you must have seen the age group of FG is around 20-22 which is very unfortunate as none of them are mature enuf and fall prey and puppets to singers.
<FONT face=Arial size=2>The whole concept of the show did not suite your personality and I think it was a wrong place for you start with.
<FONT face=Arial size=2>Let me compare other shows, Zee the judges are the best in the industry and not a two tongued lyricist, a biased composer and a struggling singer.
<FONT face=Arial size=2>Or let me compare to some reality shows like channel V hunt, they know what to give the students, the judges are best trained in music and voice control and not just limit to prashant sir or padma maam with all due respect to them. and in most of the shows the judgment is made, even a lay man can see the difference, when two equal ppl are there to be sent home, both of them are given same song to sing, so the judgment is fair and the show u have been to, its not even close to be F in fair.
<FONT face=Arial size=2>You are too matured to be with those morons around. when people believe you and follow you, you are called names. There is this one incident I want to quote. During your last show, retrospection was done and one of the judges was shown abusing you that you are a politician and u are trying to justify, but the same man, whose strength of spine I doubt today has supported your friend - whom the lesser we talk about the better, that it should be left to the students to vote and we should not comment, for all the 25 yrs I have lived on this earth, I have never ever heard a respectable man contradict himself in the same place so publicly.
<FONT face=Arial size=2>In the real world, when there is a mark on paper, and when people are asked what it is, they say, there is a mark and they fail to see the complete paper, so is the case here, I realize the whole show is scripted but at the cost of a contestant who had to fight against odds was painful for us. But fortunately we are country whose memory is short, we are ready to follow tainted politicians and repeatedly place them back in power, we can accept murder accused musicians back with their music, at this rate what u are accused off, is nothing. so I, am no big gun, but would like to encourage you not to worry abt what has happened.

• <FONT face=Arial size=2>And the voting, most of them who vote as I have seen are young girls who are below 19, who have the power to vote with their mobiles, phones, influence their boyfriends or parents, so its hard for them to see beyond what is visible to naked eye. So all those left in gurukul are not so great singers either. want to make a special mention here that, even when you voted out kirti he has been given a chance to come back but junta didn't vote for him, so what were all the judges accusing you off.

<FONT face=Arial size=2>So what next, I am not sure, you must be taking time off to relax and plan for your future. Incase you intend to go back to your profession of working in BPO, Good luck with that, and incase you want to pursue music as your profession, good luck with that and hope sumana is working too !!! Regards to your Grandparents and your mother. Please tell them on my and millions of other fans that their son indeed is no politician and if he is one, he is a really bad one. Jokes apart, they have a son they can be proud of. Your inner strength and you sincerity will take you a long way in life and best wishes in what ever you do.

watching todays episode without shamit was painful, and over that the videos and arijit weeping and the shots where others are shown practising and suddenly he appears in some corner of the camera... was quite painful... am not sad coz he left, am sad coz i wont get to see him more often, memories are short, but seeing the show and not finding him there was painful. it was so empty with out him, though others are there, but i dont know, meri nazar, pehle shamit par hi jaati thi... now the emptyness seems to have creeped in to my real life too, even knowing the fact that its just a show, the thought of not being able to see someone, whom i have seen for the last two months regularly, heard almost everyday, though never met in real life ........... i have never been ever jealous of anyone but i have this feeling of how lucky those ppl are who get to see him everyday meethim, hear him speak, hear him sing, his friends, his colleagues, his neighbours, strangers..... quite a strange feeling m gong thru , have been an ardent fan and will remain to be..
