Poor Gurpreet :(

In the US, we'll see her leave the academy tomorrow. I felt really bad for her tonight. Javed Akhtar put her on the spot too when he asked if she had any respect for the public vote. I think she sang really well, but sadly she didn't show much excitement and her comments on Qazi and the public vote didn't help either. Qazi and Shamit were more lively and into their singing as usual.

Wish Gurpreet all the best for the future. I think she should pursue classical music or playback singing.

totally agree with u!! wish gurpreet best of luck in future...she has a beautiful voice and a good soul...i really believe that good, capable yet simple girl...I hope she remains simple though...i love her simplicity but nevertheless I think she should gain more self-confidence...she is talented...she can make a v successful playback singer....may success & happiness kiss her feet one day...

So true wildflower. She is a very simple and soft-spoken person. She had trouble adjusting to the lights and camera and admitted it. But I admire her determination. Its so sad to see everyone go one by one 😭

I feel sad for Gurpreet. She is best for ghazals or classical singing. But her performance today was not upto the mark. Shamit rocked and his rendition was excellent. Qazi was okay. I am still wondering why Qazi is getting votes from Janta. If I were one of the singer, I would get angry at janta too. I think that anger these students are taking out on Qazi.

i feeling personally attached to the contestants...and FG is getting on my nerves...i get too affected by who gets out and who doesn't...after all it's just a show...I have to get a control over myself...

Yeah i agree that shammit was good today...I think he should try to keep quite for a episode or two and should just concentrate on singing...

Gurpreet showed a lot of class tonight. She got voted out but to me, she left a winner because she got something out of it, which has made her a better singer and performer. She could have started crying a lot, but she didn't and kept her cool.

Well, Javed Akhtar said one good thing tonight: 'Gurpreet is a sareef person and sareef people always end up successful in the long run'. I hope this statement comes true for Gurpreet.

I felt sad for Gurpreet too, but honestly, she doesn't have that spark about her. She's really really really nice, but she needs to buck up and be a bit more lively. No doubt, however, that Gurpreet can make it far!
